don’t kiss me goodbye again

leave this night clean and quiet

you were outside your apartment, hands pulling at akaashi’s hair, tugging him down to roughly kiss him with passion. his dainty and nimble hands roamed your body, one hand gripping your waist and pulling you close, the other placed on the back of your neck to further deepen said kiss. after what seemed like hours just making out (when in reality it was more like 20 seconds) you pulled away, a string of saliva connecting the two of you, your forehead leaning against his as you panted for air, looking deep into his addictive pretty blue eyes.

you want the last word, you want me to laugh but leave it for now

both of you began walking down the stairs, him walking one step ahead of you but still facing your way, a smirk on his face when he licked his bottom lip, making you roll your eyes and smack his shoulder lightly. “all you can say, all you can feel, was wrapped up inside that one perfect kiss, leave it at that. i’ll watch you turn the corner and go…” you told him, reaching the bottom of the stairs and seeing him turn away slightly to start leaving. before he could, you grabbed his wrist, pulling him in to hold him; his arms immediately wrapping around your frame and breathing in the familiar scent of you hair.

“goodbye until tomorrow, akaashi. goodbye until the next time you call and i will be waiting, you hear?”

he chuckled, pushing your hair out of your face. “i hear you, alright. trust me, you don’t need to wait though, i can barely get enough of you, beautiful.” you let him go reluctantly, shyly waving bye to him.

goodbye until tomorrow, goodbye ‘til i recall how to breathe

and i have been waiting, i have been waiting for you!

you always felt like you stood on a precipice, struggling to keep your balance. it was hard for you to enter a relationship and give your trust, to become vulnerable with someone truly. it was a difficult task for you to do, and whenever you finally gave yourself to a person, they left you, so you were scared to do that with anyone nowadays. but, with akaashi, you felt yourself opening yourself up one stitch at a time, showing him more of yourself than anyone else has seen.

finally yes! finally now! finally something takes me away. finally free!

and he accepted you, he cut through your strings and opened your wings. it was a wild concept, because with him you felt like you were flying despite falling deeper and deeper in love with him. it was like you waited your whole life to meet this perfect person, just waiting for him to show up. and he was yours, the man of your dreams was your boyfriend and you wouldn’t wish for anything different, because you would go through all the pain from your previous relationships if it meant he would still be yours in the end.

because honestly, it felt like akaashi keiji rescued you.

my best friend had a little situation at the end of our senior year

and like a shot, she and mitchell got married that summer

you sat in the passenger seat of akaashi’s black convertible, the wind ruining your perfectly done hair; even though your parents would probably scold you on looking so improper you couldn’t seem to care about that at all in the moment. you had your senior yearbook out, telling your boyfriend about your old friend who got knocked up in high school.

“carolann was getting bigger literally every minute, you wouldn’t believe how huge she got, ‘kaashi! and mitchell was going out ev’ry night being a heavy-metal drummer…i mean i guess it worked out for them though, they got a little cute house on a little cute street with a crucifix on the door. oh! but mitchell got a job at a record store in the mall, so maybe not so much?” you giggled, closing the book.

just the typical facts of a typical life in a town on the eastern shore

“oh really? did you want something like that, hmm?” he asked teasingly, coming to a stop at a red light, looking at you with an eyebrow raised.

you thought about his question, thought about what you wanted…and it wasn’t like that at all. you looked towards akaashi, shaking your head quickly, “i made carolann a cute baby sweater, thinking ‘i can do better than that!’” leaning over the center console, you grabbed your boyfriend’s pretty face in your hands and pressed a quick kiss to his soft lips. the traffic lights turned to green but he didn’t start driving again; instead, he went to go in for another kiss–well tried to before you ended up smacking him away with a laugh, telling him to start driving again.

in a year or so, i moved to the city, thinking “what have i got to lose?”

got a room, got a cat, and got twenty pounds thinner

you sighed, looking up to the blue sky in wonder and disbelief, a wild memory of your past relationship coming to your head. “i remember, i met a guy in a class i was taking with some very well placed tattoos,” you started, rolling your eyes at the thought of him, “he wouldn’t leave me alone ‘less i went with him to dinner.”

“tell me about him, love.” the nickname akaashi had grown to give you made your stomach twist and explode with butterflies, embarrassing warmth flooding your cheeks.

“well, i guess he was cute, and i guess he was sweet, and i guess he was good in bed. i gave up my life for the better part of a year. so i’m starting to think that this maybe might work and the second it entered my head…” your head rolled to look at your lover, deadpanning, “he needed to take some time off, focus on his ‘career.’ he blew me off with a heartfeltletter! the audacity, really…but i couldn’t help but think ‘i can do better than that!’”

you don’t have to get a haircut, you dont’t have to change your shoes, you don’t have to like duran duran…just love me…

you reached your hand over to him, running your fingers through his black locks, tugging it ever so slightly. he eyed you from the corner of his eyes, looking at you curiously with a pleasured groan, “what?”

“just thinking. listen, you don’t have to put the seat down–” he snorted at your words, interrupting your intimate speech that you just came up with two seconds ago, “listen! you don’t have to watch the news, you don’t have to learn to tango. you don’t have to eat prosciutto, you don’t have to change a thing for me ‘kaashi.”

just stay with me

he drove to a private corner that wasn’t on your way to your parent’s house, pulling over and parking the car. he took off his seatbelt, looking at you with need, “get in the back, love.” a shiver ran down your spine and straight to your core at his dominant tone, immediately climbing over the chair and taking off your cardigan, watching as he got out of the car and took off his own dress shirt, jumping over the door to get to you quicker (the way his toned muscles in his arm tensed as he did so was so very intoxicating.)

his hands slid under back, fitting himself between your legs like a puzzle, leaning down to place kisses all over your jaw and neck, nipping at your skin here and there. you arched into him, a small moan escaping your lips, your nails dragging down his back. “i want you and you and nothing but you,” you breathed out, grabbing his face to look at you, “miles and piles of you. finally, i’ll have something worthwhile to think of each morning…”

you kissed him deeply, your mouth automatically opening for his access. your hands reached down to unbuckle his pants, making quick work with unbuttoning them next. he got up off of you, kicking his pants off quickly. “what else do you want, darling? i’ll give it to you, anything.”

“you, ‘kaashi, and nothing but you.” you sat up, pushing him back down and straddling his hips as best as you could in the small car. you tugged your shirt off–luckily you did wear a skirt today so…that was easy to work with. he dove into your chest, your hands flying back up to his hair and pulling at it. you dragged your teeth along his earlobe, panting into his ear, “you’re mine. totally mine.”

i don’t need any lifetime commitments

i don’t need to get hitched tonight

you were back on the road, fixing your smudged lipstick with a smile. you stole a look at akaashi, admiring his disheveled hair and marks that you left on his neck. “like what you see?” he teased, his electrifying blue eyes narrowed at you.

“hell yeah i do.” you pinched his cheek playfully, sticking your tongue out before becoming somewhat serious again, “i don’t mean to put on any pressure, ‘kaashi, but i know when a thing is right, and i spend everyday re-configuring my senses! so when when we get to my house, take a look at that town, at how far i’ve gone. i will never go back, never look back anymore because it feels like my life led right to your side and will keep me there from now on!”

he softly smiled at you, caressing your cheek, “i love you, y/n.”

think about what you wanted

think about what could be

think about how i love you

he pulled into your childhood neighborhood, parking his car at the curb in front of your parents’ house. before he could open his door, you grabbed onto his wrist, “say you’ll move in with me. think about it, at least. think of what’s great about me and you. think of the bullshit we’ve both been through. think of what’s past. because…we can do better than that, keiji.”

you saw him gulp when you said his actual name for the first time before breaking out into a wide grin, “love…i don’t have to think about it. let’s do it, okay? anywhere you want, as long as we are together.”

you smiled brightly, tears springing to your eyes at his sudden acceptance, “i love you, so much. oh! there’s my parents, ah–wait you have a little bit of my lipstick on your lip, lemme help you so my mom doesn’t think bad of you…”

we can do better than that!

“when you come home to me…? i-i’ll wear a sweeter smile and hope that, for a while, you’ll–” you stopped singing when one of the casting directors put a hand up to signal for you to stop. you awkwardly smiled, “o-oh…okay, thank you…” speed walking off stage in embarrassment, you left the building quickly, pulling out your phone to call akaashi.

i’m climbing uphill, jamie

climbing uphill

you stood in a line of two hundred girls that you got up at six in the morning for. you noticed how they all seemed to be prettier than you, younger and thinner than you. hell! there was even a woman behind you who just got back from the gym…

i’m waiting five hours in line and watching the girls just coming and going

a girl walks out of the doors to the stage and you can’t help but whine internally when you see that she was wearing the exact same dress as you. so much for originality to impress the directors, huh? you look away from said girl when your number is called, a woman leading you to the stage where there’s a piano and a table full of men in front of you.

always men–usually gay

who’ve been sitting like i have and listening all day to two hundred girls belting as high as they can

placing your bag on the floor, you grab your hand mirror out and try to hype yourself up. ‘i am a good person. i’m an attractive person. i am a talented person. grant me grace.’ you shakily exhale, snapping your mirror shut and turning to look at the middle-aged men staring at you expectantly.

when you come home…

the pianist starts playing so you start singing, immediately second-guessing each one of your actions. should you have told them you were sick last week? oh god what if they think that’s the way you sing! why is this pianist playing so loud?? should you sing louder?? yeah, you’ll sing louder, that’s a good idea, right?

maybe i should stop and start over, i’m gonna stop and start over

your e/c eyes widen when you see one of the directors staring at his crotch, were you not more interesting than whatever he had down there?? your eyes snap over to the man next to him and shit, he’s reading your resume. don’t stare at my resume, i made up half of my resume, look at me! you beg in your mind, continuing to sing your audition song.

no! not at my shoes, don’t look at my shoes

you glance down at your feet, mentally cursing yourself for choosing these shoes. you hate these stupid shoes. why did i pick these shoes?? why did i pick this song? why did i pick this career? why does this pianist hate me? you’re freaking out about everything at this point, your hands at your side literally vibrating at this point.

if i dont get a callback i can go to crate & barrel with mom and buy a couch, not that i want to spend a day with mom

your mind travels to akaashi and while thinking of him usually calms you, you can’t help but freak out more over him. keiji needs space to write and since you’re obviously such a horrible annoying distraction to him, what’s he gonna be like when you have kids?? akaashi can’t even handle you around the house at this point so how is he going to deal with having mini-hims running around everywhere when he is trying to focus??? why are you even thinking about kids in the first place??

and once again…why am i working so hard? these are the people who cast russell crowe in a musical!

jesus christ! you shut your eyes closed, wanting to disappear from existence. this audition was going horrible and although your mouth kept going with lyrics, your thoughts only consisted of i suck i suck i suck i suck.

“when finally you come home to–”

“thanks that’s great.” one of men interrupted with a sarcastic comment, already wishing for you to get off stage.

sighing, you bit your lip and answered, “okay, thank you…”

thank you very much

you found yourself at a library, an event being held here for akaashi to do a live reading of his book. you stood among the crowd, giving him a grin and applause whenever it was due. he stood in front of a podium, his tall form towering over it as he continued to read. he was an amazing writer, but he was an even better storyteller. the raw emotion he put behind each word sent goosebumps down your arms, his silky smooth voice pulling you in and trapping you.

i will not be the girl stuck at home in the ‘burbs

yet despite akaashi always having a way with words that made you have your full attention on him, your mind still wandered to a different place. you know you were supposed to be here for him, proud of him but you felt frustrated somehow. you did not want to be the girl who sat still and looked pretty, with the baby, the dog, and the garden of herbs.

i will not be the girl in the sensible shoes

pushing burgers and beer nuts and missing the clues

you hated whenever one of his fans came up to you, asking “how does it feel to be the girl trotting along at the genius’ heels?” yeah, you loved akaashi. truly, you loved him with all your heart but you were notthe girl who requires a man to get by! and you definitely were not–

applause suddenly filled your ears, making you–as if you were programmed–smile and clap for him as well. you watch as people of both genders come up to him and congratulate him on his book, introducing themselves to him. you knew they were important by the way keiji’s eyes widened and a formal smile made its way onto his face.

akaashi and you then make eye contact from across the room, he lifts his long pointer finger up to get you to come to him, but you just grin at him and give him a thumbs up, trying to be as supportive as possible.

next thing you know, you’re at home and you’re arguing with him, his loud angry voice filling the room as he tries to talk over you, “no! i’ve been to every one of your parties and events and the same thing happens over and over again! i’m basically your waitress for the evening–listen to me! i’m constantly being asked if i’m your publicist because everybody asks me to take photos of you with them. and these people are always asking me the same thing every single goddamn time, ‘how did you and keiji meet? what’s keiji like? where are you from? what’s your name?’ they dont remember because i’m not important, am i? nope! nobody would notice if i left, not even you akaashi! you’re always begging me to go but then you abandon and so i stand by the bar all night and i’m drinking! drink after drink after drink as i hold my purse just waiting for someone to talk to me! for you to talk to me but of course you dont even–”

“stop–stop it, stop it, y/n!” he booms, his thundering enraged voice making you flinch and back away, “just stop and listen to me! can we just, for two minutes, have a conversation where you’re not arguing with everything i say! two fucking minutes! then you can say whatever the hell you want, y/n.”

Today’s Haikyuu!! x AftG brainrot:

Fanon has it that Sakusa is mysophobic/has OCD, but either way, it’s canon that he is reluctant to get too close to people. So it follows that he probably wouldn’t want people touching him unless he gives them permission. (looking at that panel of him “wiff”-ing Hinata and Bokuto’s high fives.)

Many sakuatsu shippers hc that despite being a typical asshole personality usually, Atsumu’s conscientious attitude towards his hitters extends outside the court, and while he will provoke, annoy, tease, insult, aggravate, etc. people to no end, he likely respects their boundaries. Hence he would heckle and bother the hell out of Omi-Omi verbally but would never actually touch him or make him purposefully uncomfortable or panicked.

Fast forward a bit, Omi and Atsumu start getting closer, getting to know each other better, and so on and so forth. And one day, Atsumu really wants to kiss him, or at least touch him, so he holds his hands out, makes eye contact, and says, “Yes or no?”

(I think you know where I’m going with this.)

(Eventually, some time later, Omi tells Atsumu, “It’s always yes with you.”)

(And they live happily ever after, playing pro sports, making their national team and playing the Olympics, talking with their successful twin brother (in law) on weekends, etc.)

(And maybe, they’ll even get two cats. Or rather, two dogs, since sakuatsu canonly like dogs.)

I would really want to write an AftG x Haikyuu AU except for a few things:

1. Hesitant to put any of the volleyboys through as much pain and suffering as the Foxes went through.

2. Absolutely no one in HQ is despicable enough to be Riko or Tetsuji Moriyama, who are both mildly essential to the plot of AftG. (No one is even near despicable enough to be Drake either, but he can be worked around, see #1.)

3. Oh yeah, and I can’t write.

spacepanda7:

SIX OF CROWS HAIKYUU!! VERSION just slammed into my brain at top speed and refused to leave.

First version that came into my head was this: Kuroo as Kaz, scheming and always thinking several steps ahead and manipulating others, friends and enemies. Bokuto as Jesper, powerful and has a presence, loves the adrenaline of a fight (or facing a wall of three blockers, whatever), and loud and cheerful (most of the time). Oikawa and Iwaizumi as Nina and Matthias. I probably don’t need to explain to you who is who and why. Matthiwaizumi, of course, lives to a ripe old age, happy and in love with Ninoikawa. That’s what happens, yep.

I ran into an issue with Inej and Wylan. Because to me, Akaashi is quite similar to Inej, quiet but calculating and dangerous and threatening when they want to be. Independent and supportive and unfalteringly loyal, but also keeping their counterpart honest/humble/etc. And Kenma reminds me of Wylan in that he’s not super dedicated to and in love with volleyball in the same way as the others are, like Wylan was not used to the life that the others led before Kaz pulled him in. Also, Kenma is very smart and good at thinking strategically. Wylan was very good at engineering and math, and I feel like Kenma’s video game prowess would lend itself well to learning about technology systems. And Kenma is the least physically threatening out of these six, like Wylan was among the crows. But the way the ships work, Kenma should be Inej and Akaashi should be Wylan… well, it’s an AU, anyway. Akaashinej can be pining after Bokutojesper. And after pulling him in, Kazuroo falls for Wylenma.

Terushima is Kuwei. Smart and flirtatious. Makes Kenma extremely angry by flirting with Kuroo excessively. Tried on Bokuto at first, but Akaashi and his knives put an end to that very quickly. Daishou would probably also work, plus, it would be hilarious to have him flirting incessantly with Kuroo.

Second cast of Crows (maybe they’re rivals with the first cast… ):

Well, the image of sakuatsu as helnik (matthias helvar x nina zenik? I think?) wouldn’t leave my head. Hate each other at first, warm up to each other, Sakusa/Matthias lets their guard down for the first time with Atsumu/Nina, who break their trust to save them, and when they meet again, Sakusa/Matthias absolutely hate Atsumu/Nina and hate that they still have feelings for them. Atsumu/Nina had been longing to see them again but when provoked, physically or otherwise, absolutely refuse to take that lying down and immediately fight back. Classic enemies to lovers to enemies to allied enemies to lovers. The basic staple of sakuatsu, really.

Now that I’m attached to sakuatsu helnik, might as well make it a national team (+friends) party. Hinata strikes me as the perfect Wylan, except maybe that Wylan was never that exuberant. But Hinata is so nice and friendly (unless you insult him) that he would be horrified by the cruelty and death that the Crows live with on a daily basis. But then, once he got used to it and started to really love and care for his friends/teammates, he would be the fiercest and most protective of all. Also, can you just imagine the national team looking at Hinata after he casually suggests murder a la Wylan, like, “oh my god, we’ve corrupted him,” and then having a miniature crisis? Also, he starts with natural talent, albeit with an uncontrollable disadvantage that he then turns to his advantage, becoming better than anyone hoped he could be. Hinata had extreme athletic gifts, but the disadvantage of his small height. Wylan had dyslexia but also extreme intelligence and knowledge. Plus, everyone wants to be Hinata’s dad, like how Kaz adopted Wylan.

That would make Kageyama Jesper. They both have fantastic, utterly precise, superhuman (literally in Jesper’s case) aim. Kageyama is definitely impulsive at times, but although I can totally see him gambling away all his money, I feel like that would be more because he had no idea what was going on and someone conned him into it, rather than Jesper’s addiction. Their personalities are almost complete opposites, but they both come alive the most during high pressure situations (fights/games) and perform at their best in them. They can both be offensive, although Kageyama is mainly just blunt, while if Jesper is insulting, he’s probably doing it on purpose. They both encouraged their counterparts in their own ways, and convinced them that they were valuable despite their perceived disadvantages. Kageyama was the first to treat Hinata as a serious opponent and rival, and to take him seriously. Jesper was one of the first to make Wylan feel like he was more than his inability to read and that he was, regardless of the disadvantage, incredibly smart and special. They both were condescending at first to Hinata/Wylan but grew to respect them and care for them.

I’m not sure who would be Kaz… no one on the national team really strikes me as scheming and manipulative enough to be him… Maybe Suna, but I like the idea of him as Inej. Inconspicuous at first, especially compared to their colleagues, underestimated, but very skilled. Plus, the whole Thief of Secrets thing really suits Suna’s tendency for collecting blackmail. If anyone on the national team is collecting information to use against people to gain an advantage over them, it would probably be Suna. Ship-wise, that would make Osamu Kaz but… Osamu is not like Kaz in the slightest. He’s all impulse and Kaz is all calculation. Personality wise, if we spread the candidate pool to be Japanese-born volleyball players at the Olympics, Oikawa would definitely be Kaz. Scheming, strategically turning his weaknesses into strengths, manipulating, thinking ahead, bringing out the strengths of his team, and very powerful and frightening in his own right. Ship wise though, I feel like Oikawa and Suna wouldn’t last a day. They would probably destroy each other. Maybe Iwaizumi and Osamu are two of the Dregs that come along with the group, but don’t participate in the actual heist, staying on the ship instead. There were a few of those in the book; I think Rotty and Dirix were supposed to go but one of them died when their decoy ship was attacked by Pekka Rollins. There were others but I forget who.

Komori can be Kuwei. I don’t know how smart he is, but he doesn’t have a prominent partner he’s shipped with, and I can see him flirting with everyone for the fun of it and making everyone else really mad. He and Sakusa are probably not cousins in this AU.

I left out Hoshiumi, Ushijima, Hakuba, Yaku, Hyakuzawa, and Aran, which makes me sad, but I couldn’t think of a role that would fit them well. Ushijima is (I think) their captain but he is way too himbo to be Kaz (@ him and Kageyama discussing gravity in South America). Hoshiumi would be a good Jesper but Hirugami Sachirou is too experienced and calm to be Wylan. Hyakuzawa could be Wylan, but he doesn’t have an obvious partner, I don’t remember very much about Hakuba except that he’s huge, and Aran isn’t calculating enough to be Kaz, stoic enough to be Matthias, outgoing and purposefully charming enough to be Nina or Jesper, or innocently inexperienced enough to be Wylan. I included Bokuto in the previous set of Crow volleyboy musings, so I won’t count him here. Yaku is probably waiting at the Crow Club/Slat to take care of everyone when they get back and yell at them for being stupid and reckless.

Or, using a similar cast of characters, Atsumu and Osamu split up Kaz’s character (Atsumu is the schemer and manipulator, Osamu handles the logistics of being a leader - he has his own business, he’s used to records and numbers, plus it would probably have been very useful for Kaz to have a doppelganger to use as an alibi), Sakusa and Komori split up Kuwei’s character (Komori is the chaos, Sakusa, the university graduate, is Kuwei’s scientific prowess; they can be cousins here), Suna, Hinata, and Kageyama as Inej, Wylan, and Jesper, and Ushijima as Matthias. We’ll bring Tendou on to be Nina: he is very out there and not afraid to be himself, and I can totally see him sacrificing his relationship with Ushijima to keep them both safe, and Ushijima being so hurt and confused by Tendou’s betrayal that he keeps a distance when they’re reunited and accidentally comes across as aggressive.

Anyway, if you’ve reached the end of my Six of Crows/Haikyuu!! rant, thank you for sticking around! A gold star for you! ⭐ I love the volleyboys and the Crows (the Dregs ones not the Karasuno ones, although I love them too) very much and they take up much of my mental real estate.

He braids Tadashi’s hair and kisses his freckles in secret. He loves Tadashi even as he stabs him, even as Tadashi bleeds out in his arms, bewildered and heartbroken. Tsukishima dries Tadashi’s tears just before he lets the guards take him, eager to join Tadashi now that his purpose had been fullfilled. Now if only he and Tadashi were going to the same afterlife. Maybe Tadashi would understand, sometimes love isn’t enough to undo a lifetime of training and teaching. Probably not though.

okay so I’ve been gone for a minute because I was writing my first fic on ao3 but I’m back with more trash than ever! I really love crack fics and my friend and I thought up this absolutely GREASY premise and I just couldn’t help myself. I only included a few of my ideas in this post but let me know if yall like it and maybe I’ll do a part 2

Haikyuu!! Frat House AU

  • Bokubro is obviously a member of the frat, he’s also a minor drug dealer with Kuroo, and his room is L I T E R A L L Y DISGUSTANG, like Kuroo actually has a fear of Bokuto’s side of their room. People are baffled, BAFFLED when they find out that his boyfriend is non other than Akaashi, president of the most prestigious fraternity on campus. But what can akaashi say? he believes any guy who can drink his weight in vodka, take at least three different unnameable drugs, and still smile at him the morning after, deserves his attention.
  • Kuroo took one for the team when he rushed, and roomed with Bokuto. Needless to say, his quiet gamer boyfriend, Kenma, refuses to stay over. When they first met at one of the frat’s infamous ragers, they’d stumbled into Kuroo’s shared room, heading toward a drunk hook up. Then Kenma put his hand in something wet. And very much alive. That was the first and last time. Bokuto and him irritate everyone by constantly referring to themselves as “businessmen”, only to be immediately informed by Iwaizumi and Daichi that “selling drugs to high schoolers doesn’t make you business men”
  • Daichi didn’t want to be in charge, but duty calls and when you and Iwaizumi are the only sane ones in the house, well a man has to step up. Plus, it totally gains him brownie points with all of the trashy college girls that show up to their notorious parties. because he was totally interested in that, and definetly not in the chaotic silver haired boy from the competing fraternity. no he wanted nothing to do with Sugawara. It’s not like he catches himself openly fantasizing about him, and the whole house made it into a running joke.
  • Iwaizumi is also in charge, to no one’s surprise. he and daichi have the cleanest room in the house, not only that but he’s the only one who will do dishes. he’s exhausted. he’s also sleeping with Oikawa Tooru the single most irritating member of the prestigious fraternity suga and akaashi are in. but don’t mention it, don’t talk about the way he blushes when oikawa throws it back, and DEFINETLY don’t bring up the time Oikawa broke his knee sneaking out of Iwaizumi’s room, and spent an entire semester harassing iwaizumi on a bright pink motorized scooter.
  • Ushijima doesn’t really care enough to be in charge. Mans is a FARMER if you catch my drift, and he makes fat stacks off of his “business” with Kuroo and Bokuto. once spent the entirety of his rush week in a maid’s costume. but hey he’s not complaining, it did get him the attention of that really weird dude from his leisure cooking class. he and Tendou are possibly the only couple that have it all figured out so kudos to them, three years strong
  • the miya twins are living frat legends, and they have been since their first party, at which Osamu got wasted and punched an equally wasted atsumu in the face for “breathing too loud”. Atsumu seems like he sleeps around a lot, and maybe he did, but the guy won’t stop simping for a very reserved chem major named Sakusa. sakusa gave into atsumu’s begging once and woke up on a stained mattress in Vegas for his trouble.
  • Terushima is also there, making each party a little bit more chaotic and sleeping his way through ever girl on campus, except for kiyoko and yachi, the other guys were oddly protective of them. make no mistake though, terushima was a loveable himbo, who made extra sure that safe, sane , and consensual relations were his top priority. during hell week, he had to poop in a target dumpster, but daichi and iwaizumi didn’t keep a good look out for him, he narrowly avoided getting arrested. NARROWLY.
  • Nishinoya and Tanaka rushed together. it went exactly how you think it did. Daichi and iwaizumi swore up and down that if they weren’t desperate for new pledges, they would’ve never let those two in after they set the toilet on fire. Tanaka got really smacked one night and took a vow to abstain from any hook ups until he and Kiyoko (the hot girl from that one sorority) were engaged. Noya holds him to it and it’s actually really wholesome. Noya on the other hand is battling a low grade obsession with the anxious design major from Akaashi’s fraternity. everytime Asahi gets inebriated he’s instantly the life of the party, and if Noya wasn’t already in love, that time drunk Asahi took his clothes off and swam in the city fountain with him really cemented it.
  • kyoutani hates that little snot from the other fraternity….what was his name? mini oikawa, super prissy and whiny….YaHAbA. Kyoutani won Iwazumi’s admiration when he took his rush like a champ, obliterating keg stands and hair removal alike. everyone thinks it’s really funny because they’re basically the same person down to the snotty, prissy, irritating boyfriends they won’t admit they have.
  • Ennoshita is the mini daichi, and he’s a simp for Tanaka. constantly pulling him back from fights, and rubbing his back when he throws up. maybe someday Tanaka might notice….
  • Lev is possibly the dumbest rush they have ever received and also the most fun. his natural talent for shotgunning and dangerous drunken adventures, makes him a favorite. he ripped his pants in front of the entire student body during his rush, on purpose. like he wanted it to happen. still to this day, no one understands why. he’s been simping for yaku as long as he’s been in college, so two whole months. to the outside world, it looks like the angry little man wouldn’t think twice about the lowly freshman, but lev’s been in enough closets with him to know that that’s just not true.
  • kindaichi just adds to the madness, he’s an anxious peacemaker with an epic talent as a lightweight, and a massive crush on his apathetic roommate, kunimi. Kunimi regretted joining the frat the first time he watched Bokuto peel string cheese with his toes.
  • Hinata and Kageyama are rushing at the same time. Tobio Swageyama is made for Greek life, but Hinata can barely do a keg stand. So naturally they are paired together through the rush callenges. This results in the loss of no less than six pairs of pants, a completely bald (no eyebrows) Kageyama, and an upside down lower back tattoo reading “boke”, sometimes they get a little too spicy at parties and take the whole “kiss the homies goodnight” thing to a whole other level

I’ve been really into the concept of past lives recently, and I thought it would be really fun to post my take on the Haikyuu pairs, and past lives/historical au’s. So here is some steamy, self indulgent T R A S H! This is going to be pretty flawed and there is definetly some movie references in here as well as some historical inaccuracies but I did my best. Also there are no happy endings because I thought that might be pretty unrealistic based on treatment of actual gay men in history.

TW: Suicide, Hate Crimes, Gun Violence

  • Iwaioi is obviously reminiscent of Alexander the Great and his “best bro" Hephastion. Oikawa was the Grand King, destined for greatness from the moment he was born. Iwaizumi was born among corpses and dirt, exiled to Oikawa’s kingdom, a twelfth son, useless. He lived as a lonely peasant, starving, until he joined the king’s guard. He liked to tell himself he trained with Oikawa because he admired Oikawa’s hard earned skill, and he believed that right up until he died at the end of the prodigy, Kageyama’s blade. After intercepting a strike that would’ve inevitably killed the Great King. He falls, looking into Oikawa’s shocked eyes, bright, and full of tears as he cradled Iwa to his chest. Iwaizumi merely sighed, still unable to touch the man he loved, lest he ruin his life by exposing his feelings. He dies to the violent, primal screams of his love, and he becomes distantly aware of a missed opportunity, as Oikawa’s reciprocation of Iwaizumi’s feelings becomes more obvious with each throat tearing wail. It’s clear that he will die without Iwaizumi, but everyone already knew that.
  • Daisuga has just graduated in the summer of 1967, and they’ve been stealing moments with each other from the moment Suga transferred to Daichi’s school sophomore year. And Daichi hated himself for it, he was quarterback, and he had the prettiest girl in school. So why was he so smitten with this nerd? This delicate pretty boy made his blood run hot and his heart skip. He was in love, and damn it if Suga hadn’t made it obvious that he felt the same. Daichi had to put a stop to this before someone found out and it ruined his life. Suga heard it from a freshman, the handsome senior, Daichi was going to marry his girlfriend, Michimiya Yui. It made it so much easier to go to Vietnam when he won the draft lottery system. Daichi came to apologize only to find that Suga was gone. Forever. He wrote. Suga ignored it all. Daichi talked with Suga’s mother every weekend hoping to collect any information he could, until the news finally broke, Koushi wasn’t coming back from ‘Nam. Daichi married Michimiya with an empty heart and dead eyes, the fact that they found Suga’s corpse clutching one of Daichi’s letters replaying in his mind as Michimiya read her vows. They had three kids, Daichi killed himself on what would’ve been Suga’s fifty first birthday.
  • Kuroken has been side by side for years, Kenma serving as prohibition criminal Kuroo’s right hand man. Kuroo has never shown interest in a woman, the rest of the gang doesn’t say a word though their suspicious glances between him and Kenma speak volumes. And they’re absolutely right, Kenma is everything short of a mob wife. All pretty hair and violent tendencies, Kenma values no one’s life, not even his own, but he can’t help but value Kuroo in a such a loving way. They die together, when everything falls apart and the feds are chasing them, bullets shatter the car, ripping everything but their hands apart. Those will stay intertwined forever.
  • Ushijima was okay with his job, he lived such a sparse simple life, and it was enough for him, the life of a holy man. Until he saw Satori, a young man no older than him, residing in a dark hole of the desolate mental facility he was blessing. The sisters merely dismissed him when he inquired as to why the man was in there in the first place. So he took upon himself to talk to the boy and get to the bottom of this. He didn’t mean to fall in love with the beautiful, unhinged and unholy Tendo. He didn’t mean to commit the ultimate sin, to forsake his faith, but he couldn’t bring himself to regret feeling what he felt for Tendo. The only thing he actually regretted was never protecting Satori the way he wanted to. Never scooping his love in his arms and running away from that foul life. The tears that caught in his throat when he came to Tendo only to find him bald, scarred, and permanently empty, shook him to his core. They dug in his brain and ripped out everything dear to Ushijima, they tore a part that beautiful mind all because they couldn’t understand it. Ushijima swallowed his tears, and mustered his courage, he was going to save Tendo now, even if it would cost him his soul. His big hands wrapped around Tendo’s throat, and didn’t release until Tendo’s empty eyes went out. He died years later in a prison cell. Maybe he and Tendo could have each other, in the next life.
  • The village did not like Nishinoya, nor did his family. He for the life of him, could not be modest and quiet like the rest of the puritans. He did not go to church, nor did he read the gospel, he ran about in the woods, tricky and mysterious. The governor’s son, Asahi, can’t help but be entranced, he is a scholar after all. And he only follows Noya into the dark wood for "scholarly” purposes, he definetly wasn’t thrilled when Noya pinned his large body against one of the dark twisty tree trunks deep within the wood. Asahi comes to two very troubling conclusions that night, the village was wrong, Noya was not a witch at all, and Azumane would never be able to keep himself away from Noya not matter the cost. It was over for them the moment they were discovered, Noya wrapped in Asahi’s arms. The villagers convinced themselves that Asahi had been put under a curse by Yuu, despite Asahi’s violent objections, and surprisingly brave declaration of love. Noya smiled softly as they touched the torch to his feet, and as the flames ate the innocent man up, Asahi screamed begging the whole village to burn him instead, Yuu was innocent take him instead. Asahi stayed only long enough to press a gentle kiss to Yuu’s now burnt face, just to show the villagers their love was true and deep, not the by product of some cheap curse. While they were all in shock, he slipped into the dark wood, and never was heard from again.
  • Hinata considered it an insane stroke of luck when he secured a third class ticket aboard the ship of dreams, the Titanic. He bid his mother and Natsu farewell, hoping to secure a job in the new world, and make enough funds to secure them a passage to America one day. His shipmate is horrible though, all cold blue eyes and pompous attitude, until one night when Kageyama surprisingly offers Hinata a drink. Not wanting to refuse, they obviously get smashed drunk, and with pretty pink cheeks, Kageyama grabs Hinata’s face gently. “ i jus’ think no guy should be so damn beautiful” kageyama whispers sleepily, and maybe it’s the liquor, but Hinata doesn’t hesitate to lean in and initiate a kiss. When Kageyama doesn’t pull away, Hinata crawls into his lap. They fit like puzzle pieces and now Kageyama can’t even imagine wanting to kiss anyone else. They make plans to take the new world on, learning fairly quick that they are stronger together. And then there’s water and panic and Kageyama and Hinata are trying to rush a gate because Jesus, there are kids down there. Just because they are poor doesn’t mean they deserve to die, but unfortunately someone seems to think otherwise, because the gate remains in place. They finally stop when the water is up to their waists, and a sad looking elderly woman tells them they’ve done what they could. Tearful children and somber mothers nod in agreement, and it is unsaid that they would go to their respective beds and try to rest so that they might go in their sleep. They lay together on the top bunk and even as the water slips above their heads and they begin to die, their arms hold tight, and Kageyama mouths one last “I love you” Hinata’s fingers in his hair the last thing he feels.
  • Bokuto is in love with an heiress across the lake, he’s never met her but is sure she is made for him. Akaashi is in love with a rich man right next to him, but that man sees Akaashi as no more than his lowley servant. Akaashi is in love with Bokuto, maybe that is why he involved himself in that horrible mess. He was always getting involved in horrible messes for Bokuto’s sake. It was the height of Gatsby era glamor, and Bokuto, though he never did really like parties, was always throwing them, insisting Akaashi rather than work the parties, served as his right hand man. Akaashi always knew Bokuto was hoping he would meet his heiress at one of his parties, and if it made Bokuto happy, Akaashi hoped she would show up too, no matter how much it would hurt. And eventually she did, along with her husband, and she broke Bokuto’s heart after a very miserable and short lived affair, for her it was nothing, but Bokuto always fell so hard and fast, he was distraught. Akaashi acted on instinct, pulling Bokuto into his arms no matter what line he was crossing, and smoothing his hair in attempt to sooth the crying man. Things became clear to Bokuto then. His tears ceased as he breathed in Akaashi’s soft scent, wrapping his arm around the beautiful man’s waist. They were in love then, finally on the same page for a blissful few months, until Bokuto’s affair was made public, and he was found beaten to death in an alley. Despite all of his generosity and glamor in the past years, Akaashi and Kuroo were the only guests at Bokuto’s funeral. Akaashi never recovered from the loss, he knew Bokuto wouldn’t have wanted him to do it, but that didn’t stop the smile on his face as he smashed the heiress beneath his tires.
  • Tsukishima had been protecting Yamaguchi for as long as he could remember, always getting in fights and taking beatings to protect his beautiful best friend. He knew boys weren’t supposed to be pretty, he knew what happened to boys like Yamaguchi in the eighties, but that didn’t ever stop him. Not even when Yamaguchi worked up all his courage and told Tsukki he loved him during their freshman year. Tsukki was angry at Yamaguchi for saying that, because he felt the same and he knew that he had to hide it if he wanted to survive. His controlled slipped for a second when Yamaguchi pressed their lips together gently, Tsukki allowed himself to dream one last time before he yanked himself away. He immediately began hurling slurs and abuse at Yamaguchi, things he knew would send the other boy running. And it did. But soon Kei felt an unexplainable urge to go after him, a sinking feeling that something horrible was gonna happen. Yamaguchi did not cry, he held his chin high, no matter how hard the boys hit him or cut him. He didn’t care if he died but he wasn’t gonna do it staring at his feet like a kicked puppy. Kei found him like that, full of fire and courage as he stared down his abusers. The love he felt made Kei’s legs shake, and he knew he’d do whatever he could to save Yamaguchi. Yamaguchi smiled with too much glee for a dead man as Tsukki forced his way to his side, gripping his hand. There were eight of them, with murder in their eyes, Tsukki knew before he even got to Yamaguchi that they weren’t making it out of this one.
  • Lev and Yaku find each other in 1700s France, Lev is a soft pretty boy, living a luxurious life in the aristocracy. Until he is thrown to the wolves after the loss of his parents, he is ten when he spends his first night on the street. He is nearly taken by a brothel right away, until he is saved by a particularly feisty thirteen year old street rat, Yaku is half his height but serves as his protector nonetheless. They pass the years protecting each other, growing to love each other, but never daring to hope for more than that. As many people in France were at the time disease riddled and starving, so were Yaku and Lev. Of course Yaku went first, he made it all the way to eighteen before he succumbed to his disease, clutching a crying Lev, comforting him even on his death bed. After that, Lev made the mistake of having hope, he joined the revolution in honor of Yaku. He just wanted to make the world a better place, a place where Yaku could’ve survived. He died bleeding from a soldier’s bullet on a barricade, but he was warm, all he saw was Yaku, holding him, carrying him into their next life.
  • Yahaba always talks and Kyoutani might be always listening, but it’s hard to tell. Until Kyoutani murders his whole family in 1978. He shows up at the gas station him and Yahaba always have their one sided coversations at to find Yahaba working the counter like he always is. He ignores Yahaba’s greeting and begins frantically explaing his situation and motive, all while Yahaba looks on in shock, this is the first time Kyoutani has ever spoken to him. When he asks why Kyoutani is telling him all this, he simply sighs dismissively and says “you’re my bestfriend”, and that’s enough for Yahaba. Clearly he’s crazy, a cute boy he’s never spoken with is in the back of his car and they’re leaving the country. All because Kyoutani actually was listening and not only that, he viewed Yahaba as the most important person in his life. They had been in love from the first one sided conversation they had, and that was becoming clear now. They get caught, sent to different facilities, Kyoutani gets life, Yahaba gets a lighter sentence for being an accomplice. Though they never see each other again, Yahaba always writes letters, and for once, Kyoutani writes back. They spend their lives finally having a two sided conversation, their love never even flickers, and for them, that’s enough.

Haikyuu!!Hunger Games AU could be sick tho! This has totally been done but I rewatched the movies and I had so many ideas! None of yall asked so like all of my posts here!!is!!!trash!!!

Also I’m not obeying any of the cannon rules about one male and one female tribute.

TW: Depression and mentions of death

  • Ushijima is district one, he’s never given much thought to anything but the games, and he’s a favorite to win. It’s all he’s ever known, and it’s really just sad, because he’s actually a really nice, simple guy.
  • But the other district one tribute is equally as sad but twice as eager. Goshiki volunteers wayyyyy too young and waay too impulsively. He’s a slave to his own courage and desire to prove himself, and he knows his eagerness has killed him the moment he leaves for the capitol with Ushijima.
  • Bokuto is district two, he volunteers too, because winning means everything and right now he’s got nothing to lose. Wouldn’t it suck if he fell in love with someone during the games…hmmmm
  • Daichi is reaped , despite being from two he did not volunteer for this, nor would he wish it on his worst enemy. He knows he will die but he’s going to try anyway, he’s only looking out for himself, until he meets his mentor. A damaged, beautifully kind boy with silver hair.
  • Tsukki is from three, he doesn’t cry when they call his name, he squares his shoulders and drops Yamaguchi’s hand, certain that will be the last time he ever holds it
  • That is until they call Yachi’s name next and the anxiety riddled Yamaguchi screams until he is beside Tsukki, dying in Yachi’s place. Tsukki cries then. At least they will die together.
  • Flashy Oikawa Tooru is reminiscent of Finnick Odair, beautiful, young, and charming. But he’s not just pretty, oh no boys, he’s also lethal. Everything was perfect, he volunteered right away, the first tribute for district Four. Then they pulled Takeru’s name next.
  • The twelve year old stuck his little chin up, standing beside his uncle, pale as if he might faint, and all hopes of winning left Oikawa, now all he could hope for was Takeru, he would have to protect Takeru because it was too late to volunteer for him
  • People think a twelve year old has been reaped from five when sixteen year old Nishinoya is called, but it becomes clear by the litany of swear words the boy hisses on his way to the stage that he is no child.
  • A child comes after him though, Kageyama is only fourteen, all sad eyes and pretty skin. He’s a favorite the moment he takes his place next to Noya. He’s lost his whole family to the games, and instead of planning to win like the rest of them, he simply wants to take his place beside them, until a certain orange monster gets in his way.
  • It’s silent when they call Kenma’s name in district six, until he locks eyes with Kuroo in who is sitting in the previous victor’s section, that’s when Kuroo starts to scream, panic filling his lungs as his best friend is doomed to a fate he had just barely survived. He knew Kenma wouldn’t make it, and Kenma knew it too.
  • No one in six screamed when Yahaba was called next, he didn’t expect anything anyway.
  • In district seven, Hinata refused to cry, despite everyone’s pitying looks. He would prove them all wrong, and if not he’s going to die in a way that brings honor to his family, in a way that Natsu can be proud of. He just needs to find a worthy ally…someone he could die or even survive with for a while at least.
  • Fresh from his work in the woods, barely old enough to be working in the first place, Lev is chosen and it’s really sad because he had so much potential in district seven…oh well guess there wouldn’t be a victor in seven this year
  • Tanaka is pulled from Saeko’s arms and thrust onto the stage in district eight, all while she continues to sob for her brother. It’s all terribly unfair but Tanaka promises to do whatever he can to win
  • Beside Tanaka stands Ennoshita, a shaking boy unaware of his own strength Tanaka has barely spoken to, but will begin to know much more…intimately soon. After all, they’re going to die together
  • In nine, kunimi looks sleepily at the crowd, he didn’t know the apathy that had followed him all his life would also follow him into the games
  • Yaku tries to put on a brave face under the harsh glare of the capitol lights, but his tears fall too freely for his own liking, he knew the second his name was called that he was going to die.
  • Ten is mournful as Atsumu and Osamu stand side by side, their days now numbered much to the sorrow of their family
  • District Eleven sees Hanamaki sobbing as Mattsukawa makes his way toward the stage, no one blinks, it’s just another relationship torn apart by the games
  • Mattsukawa ruffles Kindaichi’s hair as the boy cries, fear evident in every feature of his young face. At least he’d have someone to hold his hands when things got scary
  • Twelve is exactly how it’s always been, Iwaizumi has put his name in the bowl so many times that he only sighs and clenches his teeth as he makes his way to the stage. At least he would get a break from the constant state of hunger that came with living in twelve.
  • No one is even sad to see Kyoutani go, except ironically, Iwaizumi. Iwaizumi taught Kyoutani how to survive, it was a heartbreaking shame to see the closest thing he had to a legacy die beside him.

Capitol People

  • Satori hosts the interviews, but he’s mischievous, tricky, you can’t really tell what side he’s on for sure. But you can tell he has a favorite tribute, buff and handsome Ushijima can’t resist Satori
  • Asahi is a fashion designer who falls in love with his tribute, Yuu, he gets caught and punished for it, it’s very tragic
  • Akaashi is the head game maker. He’s so logical that you could almost miss the insanity in him. Almost. He has chosen who the victor will be, Bokuto.
  • Ukai is sort of like Haymitch
  • Takeda is reminiscent of Effie
  • Kiyoko is a past victor from eight, now the Capitol’s golden girl

Haikyuu battle of the bands!!! This is stupid but I’m a choir kid and I really love music so I had to imagine this one. I’m sorry this is really self indulgent but I dunno I hadn’t seen it yet and I’m a sucker for mood music so yeah feel free to ignore this I get it.

TW: suicide, drugs and scary music ahead.

Tsukki, Yams, Hinata, and Kenma have a band that freaking destroys the indie grunge garage rock genre, they all grew up sad and messy. They sound a bit like mcafferty or the front bottoms and maybe cavetown when yams takes over more

Bottom-Mcafferty (yams and tsukki doing this one together is kind of so good)

Twins Size Matress-The Front Bottoms (I’m basic I know)

Lemon Boy-Cavetown (Ah if this ain’t Yams about Tsukki)

  • Tsukki is a lead singer and nothing will change my mind, he can write and sing in that grunge way, it’s hot. He’s got a very cool detached vibe, and guys and girls alike are thirstin but none of them ever come to anything. He’s got an eye for his little back up singer with the green hair
  • Yams is the back up singer, and also a base guitarist and he’s kind of iconic, Tsukki has never needed anyone else, it’s been him and Yams since they were kids, and it’s been that way for a reason, Yams is almost a better lyricist than Tsukki
  • Hinata is their little guitarist and he’s literally king of those jaw dropping garage rock guitar shreds at live shows and god he’s really broken in this AU but he’s still extremely sunny, he just has a lot of trauma in his past
  • Kenma hits the drums, and writes a lot of the lyrics, he can also sing very high harmonies, so he’ll occasionally chip in on those

Bokuto, Iwaizumi, Kuroo, and Kyoutani have a freaking sick rock band, like I’m talking guitar shreds, eyeliner, screaming vocals ahhhhh I love it so much. They’re literally adored and they fall just on the edge of hard but not too hard. They sound a bit like Breaking Benjamin, Foo Fighters, and a little bit of Three Days Grace

Diary of Jane-Breaking Benjamin

Best of You-Foo Fighters

World So Cold-Three Days Grace

  • Kuroo is the lead singer, very mid 2000s rock sound, raspy screaming, deep lyrics, sad eyes and beautiful hair. Drinks a lot, everyone loves him but him, wishes he were dead like a lot.
  • Bokuto plays guitar and just wants his friend to be okay , he seems very strong spirited and happy on stage but he has a habit of making a complete turn, and struggles with bipolar disorder on his own
  • Iwaizumi is a silent, brooding guitarist and probably lowkey the hottest member of the whole band, he shreds and him and bokuto shred back and forth at live shows its crazy
  • Kyoutani is a drummer with heavy dark make up and terrifying eyes, he’s the classic vision of rock and roll and god help him he has so many parents who h a t e him.

Asahi, Daichi, and Kiyoko are amazing. They vibe with a more indie pop sound, with soft piano chords and deep female vocals, reminiscent of Florence+the Machine, Of Monsters and Men, Vancouver Sleep Clinic, and Bon Iver.

Over the Love-Florence and the Machine (Imagining kiyoko with a voice like this is such a trip)

Dirty Paws-Of Monters and Men

Lung- Vancouver Sleep Clinic ( the anxiety in this song gives me Asahi vibes)

Blood Bank-Bon Iver (daichiiiiii)

  • None of them have set places in this group, they’re extremely mutable and that’s what makes them so special everyone loves that the vibes stay the same even though the voices are constantly switching

Oikawa, Yahaba, Hanamaki, and Mattsukawa are reminiscent of Harry Styles, One Republic, and Coldplay. They write slow sad alternative pop music to cry to bc Oikawa is an aesthetically pleasing sad boy.

Girl Crush Cover-Harry Styles (Oiks being gay and sad in a floral suit KILLS ME)

All Fall Down-One Republic

Violet Hill-Coldplay

  • Oikawa has an incredible voice that he didn’t come by naturally, and the fact that he had to practice makes him all the more likeable. His stage presence is nuts, and he cries like a lot.
  • Yahaba is an adorable little keyboard player with soft eyes and a really nice harmony with Oikawa
  • Hanamaki strums soft sad strings
  • Mattsukawa keeps a steady melancholic beat

Suga, Noya, Tanaka, and Ennoshita are modern rock in a nutshell, and god do they know how to make you angry and heartbroken all at once. They release music in the vein of Badflower, Boston Manor, and The Plot in You.

24-Badflower

Halo-Boston Manor

The Plot in You- Feel Nothing

  • Suga is the lead singer and his on stage emotion is crazy he’s an emotional wreck, practically screaming S A V E M E, he’s obviously on a lot of substances and victim of crippling low self worth. He cries on really bad nights, his voice is incredible but he’s losing himself to the heartbreak. Suga writes almost all of the lyrics.
  • Noya and Tanaka party all the time to cover up the fact that the both of them feel alone in rooms full of people, to hide the fact that they need saving too. Tanaka is guitar, Noya is drums.
  • Ennoshita is a guitarist as well, and he’s probably the only one keeping all of his bandmates from dying. The pressure is a lot for him.

Yachi is an unhinged curveball, you’d think she sings cute pop songs, but nah, that girl is straight up nuts. Screaming, vulgar, chaos is how you’d describe her music. She’s been repressed her who look e life and it SHOWS.

I Hate My Mom-GRLwood

Mumble rap is a controversial genre to say the least, but I can’t deny that I love it and could see a few of the more spooky or apathetic volleyball boys partaking, especially Tendo and surprisingly, Kunimi. They’d sound somewhat like Ghostemane, $uicidBoy$, and Sueco the Child.

Nihil- Ghostemane (tendo style)

Sold my soul to satan waiting in line at the mall- $uicideBoy$ (together)

Novacane:)-Sueco the Child(Kunimi vibes)

  • Tendo is scary af which really lends itself to the whole terrifying music style and stage presence he has. His music is dark seductive dissonance as is he.
  • Kunimi has suffered in a constant state of pure apathy and sorrow his whole life, this lends itself to the whole $uicide theme he’s got going.

Daichi - Knight

Sugawara - Blue Mage

Tanaka - Berserker

Asahi - Monk

Nishinoya - Assassin

Hinata - Swordsman

Kageyama - Archer  (I liked that he was an archer in Haikyuu Quest so I kept that)

Yamaguchi - White Mage

Tsukki - Black Mage

And yes I plan to make more characters! I was thinking about drawing Kenma next! I want him to be a sage/fortune teller >w>

I don’t know if that’s actually a class in rpgs but i don’t care, I totally see him as a fortune teller. AND HE WILL BE KITTY BECAUSE NEKOMA. lol
