- Every decade or so, the students have to repaint the classrooms. Elemmírë forced them to like it by telling them they could pick the color scheme, and Rúmil is always thankful he’s partially colorblind.
- Discord helped me title all the books here! A good portion of them are actual fics (!!), so this post is therefore full of fic recs. ✌️ Links below the cut.
- The frieze on the dais has (imagined) scenes of oathtakers accepting their oaths - L to R is Lenwë, Morwë, Enel, Culunálta, & Finwë. No, Rùmil did not have input on the design.
- He helped to found the university, so of courseeverything is wheelchair-accessible. This becomes very helpful later when elves start arriving on ships to Valinor having lost limbs to various wars.
- Yes, he’s an ambulatory wheelchair user. Fëanor made him that cane (not that he tells anyone this - he doesn’t want weird looks) and it’s nearly indestructible.
(disclaimer: ratings & content differ; look through the tags yourself! these are not in any kind of order, and i’ve read most but not all of them myself. )
This is the last card, but not the last postedcard - #4 will be up soon :) I hope you’ve enjoyed them! I’m going to post a big spread of all 54 of them later this week.
Since I can’t ink or color this for another week, have some messy lineart of rúmil of tirion teaching from my TFO series :) i love him :)
[image description: a lean elf with long hair in a bun and high-waisted pants leans on a cane and says “class will be ending slightly early today, apologies.” he is holding papers and standing on a dais next to a lectern & stool with a chalkboard and bookcases behind him, and down a ramp to the right is a wheelchair poking into the frame. the dais edge is decorated with some kind of narrative relief carving.]
WHEW this just started with one six-character card and then went wild. I actually had never drawn a couple of these characters before, including Elemmírë and Anárion and Malbeth!
Some of these designs were entirely up to me and some of them were part of the character request, so if you find the same character on my blog they might look totally different! That was part of the fun of this challenge. :)
My favorite is Ancalimë just vibing with her sheep. Who’s yours? ❤️ Got a different headcanon about their identity?

Finrod frowned in wonderment. “Is that- is that the baby?”
“Indeed!” Erion bent fully into a crouch and smiled, full of teeth, which always discomfited Finrod greatly. He stroked his chin and gave him a look before focusing back on Curufin. “They have power, but I do not know how much they will be able to do. You are really their blood father, after all. I only enabled their existence.”
“You must count in part as a parent,” Finrod protested half-heartedly. They all knew that Curufin was not going to consider Erion the babe’s father, but he felt indebted to the Maia for agreeing to the insane request. A little pandering never went awry.
Happy@aspecardaweek 2022 everyone! Elmo is totally aroace and Curufin is somewhere on the aroace spectrum. Gandalf is probably as well but I haven’t thought about it lol
