I PRAY THAT MAY, JUNY, JULY, AUGUST AND SEPTEMBER ARE ALL MONTH FULL OF GROWTH, BLESSINGS, PRODUCTIVITY, NEW DOORS OPEN AND OPPORTUNITIES.

tbh it makes a lot of sense for the 3rd person in the Folklore love triangle to be named August. Like yes, it’s a summer month, but it’s one of the only months that is also a relatively common name. Also we know this relationship between James and August girl began at the school dance, so likely in May/June. But in august, taylor just sings about august slipping away into a moment in time not the other months. It’s from the unknown girl’s perspective, but saying August (I) slipped away into a moment in time could be her saying that to James, she meant almost nothing and she knows that.

i’ve seen a bunch of stuff about taylor comparing herself to both Gatsby and Daisy in réputation… but i haven’t seen anyone talk about how Gatsbys real name is James…. and we all know why she’s daisy.

Consider this for ModernAU: MBJ waking up and wearing sqh’s shirt by accident cause he’s still too asleep for his brain to function.

I’ve been wanting to post this since last year asajrjkaha

Happy Moshunday, everyone!

After a year, Augustine girl cancels again her plans just in case he calls, she lives againfor the hope of it all.

That’s me. I’m again the Augustine girl.

#13 on trending on my 13th watch. What a fun coincidence

cancel plans just in case you’d call, and say “meet me behind the mall”[insp.]

I recently had a day out with my mum and nan at Southport, a seaside town in the North West. While there I, of course, had a browse in the shops and I may or may not have bought quite a few bits ready for my new year at University. Although I primarily bought items in Primark, there were a couple of bits from Debenhams, New Look and Peacockss as well.

Debenhams;

I bought a comfy maroon coloured cardigan-shawl thing which I figured would be so good to have while away at University when it starts to cool down for Autumn. It was a bargain at about £6.75 and like I said earlier, it is super comfy and I’m excited for the cooler months to start.

I also bought a pair of light pink velvet heels which are Dorothy Perkins and I dropped on with these as they were the only pair of these left and luckily enough they were in my size! They’re a perfect match for a dress I bought in New Look last year and I couldn’t say no to them, especially at the price of £10.

New Look;

I finally got my hands on a faux leather jacket in a gorgeous pale pink colour. I had my eye on this for a while and when I went into the store -originally looking for boots- I came across this in the sale rack. I’m excited to be able to wear this with so many different outfits I have already planned! Once again, another bargain as it cost me only £12, an enormous decrease from the original £40.

Primark;

I got my hands on a burgundy pinafore and it looks so cute, I’m excited to style it during the autumn months when it gets a bit colder and tights and boots return into season and it cost me just £12.

I finally bought some boots as well, after looking around for a few weeks I have been on the hunt for some boots ready for university and I managed to find two pairs! A pair of flat ankle boots and a pair of flat, over the knee boots, both in black. The ankle boots I believe where around £8-£10 I think (I can’t find the receipt!) and the over the knee boots cost me £18, an overall bargain.

Some other boring bits include me picking up a pair of plain black leggings because some how I have managed to lose my others and they cost me like £2.50, and I bought a pair of simple high waister skinny jeans in a dark blue for £9.

(Little updated addition) Peacocks;

On another little shopping trip I went into Peacocks and picked up two scarves and a winter beret style hat. If you’re on the look out for these kind of items for the upcoming months I’d definitely encourage you to try your nearest peacocks as each if these items cost 50p and you never know what bargains you might pick up!

That’s all from me, unfortunately I didn’t manage to get a photo of some items before they’ve been packed up ready for Uni but hopefully I’ll be able to show you some time in the near future!

XO K

A little clothing haul so far this month I recently had a day out with my mum and nan at Southport, a seaside town in the North West.

This is How You Lose The Time War

“I want to meet you in every place I ever loved. Listen to me. I am your echo. I would rather break the world than lose you”

Thus begins an unlikely correspondence between two rival agents hellbent on securing the best possible future for their warring factions. Now, what began as a taunt, a battlefield boast, becomes something more. Something epic. Something romantic. Something that could change the past and the future.

Except the discovery of their bond would mean the death of each of them. There’s still a war going on, after all. And someone has to win. That’s how war works, right?

Cowritten by two beloved and award-winning sci-fi writers, This Is How You Lose the Time War is an epic love story spanning time and space.

This book has found it’s place in my top ten books of 2021. What can I say about this book, which makes for a good review, rather than just a long gush fest? Let’s try, shall we?

Well first of all, it’s sci-fi, but that’s not what the book is really about. It’s a love story, but also more than that. Not your typical enemies to lovers story, it’s a tale of how two agents have formed a bond with each other, which spans across time and space. It is a relatively short book, only 198 pages long, but it definitely manages to do the story justice. I found it to be fulfilling, and enjoyable. The writing was poetic, without being pretentious.

While I enjoyed the sci-fi element of the story, I did struggle a bit to fully get my head around the world building. But Blue and Red’s love story was such a strong anchor, that I would still give this book 5 stars ⭐️

Haha. Sums up my emotional state.
