summers spent strolling along italian beaches at dusk. you’re drinking the cheapest white wine you could find and you’re laughing along with your favourite person in the entire world. the tide may be creeping in but you hardly notice, your eyes never straying from theirs for long enough to realise.

sipping iced tea on nanas porch. your fingers barely fit around the mug she chose and the evening breeze caresses your face with the gentlest of touches. later, you will throw on the gloves and the beanie and the jumper she knitted for you last winter, gathering around the fire while you follow fireflies until your eyes grow heavy.
