Day Four of #beyourownvalentine2019 - Letter. Mr. Big the Bear and I are here to tell you that your challenge is to not just write any letter - but a love letter. To yourself. It can be to yourself as a whole, it can be to a specific body part that you don’t particularly care for but want to start trying to love, it can be to a body part that you already love and want to love even more. Whatever a love letter to yourself means, write it. Here’s mine.

Dear Natasha’s Tummy,

I know we have had a love/hate relationship pretty much our entire lives, but let’s try and make it a love/love relationship. I love that you’re soft and squishy, enough so that you are my husband’s favorite pillow. You may be riddled in scars and stretch marks, but that’s what makes you you. No one else has marks identical to yours. I love that your belly button is identical to my dad’s, so deep you can stick like half a finger in there. We are a carbon copy of our father for sure. I know sometimes I say I hate you. That I hate how you have loose skin and you won’t go away no matter what I do. But that skin is a symbol of what we have accomplished together, and I’m working on loving it. My favorite thing is how strong you are - although it might not look like it, the core strength and abdominal muscles underneath that layer of goodness is strong af and helps us so headstands all day every day.

So thank you. Thank you for being there even though I sometimes say I wish you were gone. Maybe one day you will be, or at least a little smaller, but know that I love you (or at least try to) at any size.

14 INCHES SCAR , STRETCH MARKS , ACNE SPOTS, DARK SPOTS
DO I CARE ? NO…
Fuck the statement “দাগ থাকলে বিয়ে হবেনা”

We women are insecured about ourselves. Stretch marks , acne scars , dark spots dark private place and so on.
But it shouldn’t be like this.
When I had my first surgery when I was only 8 years old my parents asked doctor to make it a plastic surgery so that I didn’t have any stiched scar.
Same during the second and third surgery they asked for laparoscopy so that I don’t have a deep scar.
But at last during my 4th and 5th doctor had to do open surgery which left 14 inches of scar.
That’s not the end from the childhood I never wore any backless dress because of my body acne.
But I don’t bother now. After that surgery I don’t bother at all I wear saree sometimes my marks seem visible people ask what happened.
I answer long story. But I know I look beautiful.
My scars are so big that stretch marks are like an ant to me. But do I care ? No

Je me suis vue faire ça à la plage sans réfléchir et j’ai tellement ri !
Et oui, quand tu as de « gros seins », tu ne peux pas t’allonger sur le ventre et être confortable. Ta poitrine prend tellement de place que, déjà, dans un lit, tu as abandonné l’idée de dormir sur le ventre…Et, à la plage, et bien, moi, je creuse !

Démocratisons :
les trous de boobs à la plage,
les bourrelets quand tu es assise sur ta serviette de plage
les poils
les vergetures
la peau qui brille (tu glow du sébum )
l’envie de kiffer pour tout le monde, peu importe tes formes/ton âge/ta taille, etc.
