Hey everyone! Here’s an update on the Virizion figure.
After finishing the general modeling, I decided to sand a few uneven places, and mark out a few parts such as the face and legs, as seen in the picture below.
Then, I had to face another issue, the right shade of green. Since I only had gouache paint, and the green paint was a strong green emerald shade, way darker than the one I needed. So I got to work and mixed some ink and got the right color.
Then, it was only a matter of painting everything!
Pink was added today!
It still looks very pale, but I hope when I add a coat of varnish, it’ll look somehow better.
Don’t speak to me or my child ever again.
Now I need to paint them.
So, it seems there are very few Virizion action figures huh..
Fine.
I’ll make it myself.

This guy came out of the kiln over a week ago but I’ve only just got around to photographing him. I love how he came out. The lava glaze expanded more than I was expecting from my glaze tests and when it contracted it has actually pulled the front of his head down. INCENSE BURNER
so I did something different. Here you see the incense burner smoking. The videos are a test I did before baking. The first image is also before baking. The second two however are after baking. As you can see the cap slouched a bit. This have have been due to not baking it fast enough after placing it on top.
The video at the end is the first one I made. I haven’t practiced with clay much, and these are the only things I’ve ever baked.

I ordered this craft kit and back in November it arrived. And recently, after much trial and error and learning, I made my very first sculpture ever using polymer clay.
It’s my avvie!
I’m planning to make a UT sculpture in the future. It took a while and so many layers of paint…but she is now lumpy but cute. And I’m very proud of myself for trying new things.
