I had several messages that I answered privately about confidence, so I wanted to write a quick thing to everyone reading. Whether you’re a dominant, a submissive, or a switchy kinkster, no one is confident all the time. You’re allowed those moments of doubt. You’re allowed to feel insecure regardless of your role. Remember:
Your body will be beautiful to the right person for you.
No one knows what they’re doing all the time. No one is confident always. You are not less of a domme/sub/etc. because you’re insecure.
Practice and conversation will help both the skills and the confidence grow. Practice your rope tying on dolls, pillows, yourself, an open-minded friend. Practice your whipping/spanking on pillows, your bed, yourself. Use sex toys to practice other things. You’ll get there. AND there’s a really good chance your partner doesn’t mind being a practice aid, and may want that themselves.
