V&J designed Molly’s first cookbook, published by @clarksonpotter
They worked on the Editorial Design, Graphic Design and Custom Typeface for the Cover logotype. Editorial design was composed with V&J’S awesome typefaces, Kobe, Voyage, and Dida, and the text was set in Gt Haptik.

Day 27 of Black History Month And I’m honoring Rufus Estes. He was a former slave who worked as a chef aboard luxury railway cars operated by the Pullman Company in the 19th century. He was born in Murray County, Tennessee, one of nine children. Two of his brothers died during the American Civil War. He was one of the very first African Americans to publish a cookbook.

40) he’s done a cookbook, which included family recipes :o). it was sold at his Tours that year and the money went into a college fund for his niece.
i’ll post the remaining 10 birthday celebration things tomorrow :o), I’m too tired to continue to cross-post it across 3 platforms tonight. my eyes have packed in!
