Have to say, thanks for the causes which I followed around Amber Heard because I was digging around for almost a year now! Tech4Good came up from Mariana Dahan of World Identity Network. Amber Heard supports WINdotsystems and she’s the ONE in the entertainment industry to do so, also, the first actress named United Nations Human Rights Champion. I keep digging and digging, and it’s a great influence. Other than that supposed partner of ex-staff (and what’s revealed aligns still) from April 2019, I feel obligated to continue digging, and also, it’s a positive influence on multiple projects. It’s the least I can do to support/defend (plus I’m an Anti-Troll by nature online especially)… This is war?! Really?! That’s nearly a YEAR OLD SAYING!!
Also, can I say, I was and still am a founder of a social media platform, and I founded EPVP, Motivator Network, and Motivationology. All of this combines for me to know full-well about social effects. Sure, I may not watch every nuance (impossible to be everywhere at once), but I know how it affects each person in a chain reaction, like *The Sims* doing actions. So, to provoke me on social media, is also teaching me a lesson like a camel that broke its back. I wasn’t on MN for nearly 2 years, btw :)
Thankfully, the Amber Heard fan groups FINALLY saw on IG! Had to go on there finally, and provide some POSITIVE messages, right?! Haha, reverse train it. Glad she turned off those comments! #AntiCyberbulling… Also, welcome aboard not offboard :(
Over 4,000 now have finally signed! Of course “the media doesn’t lift a finger unless it gets paid” and right now, exploiting her social status is ‘getting paid by ads’ even if it’s hateful. Just another reason for nonprofits in tech! Also, not cool to twist Duty To Rescue by chopping it up! This is a looooong haul!
(I think the algorithm on IG also thinks a diff gender bc of logo, previously posted images, etc, haha, well better for me bc of lack of limits!) - To Washington DC/American University also I go with Worldie, NSF, and finally, more intelligent people making these decisions… let’s create it.

This laminitic mare has her clogs on and is ready to dance her way into recovery
Laminitis season is already upon us (honestly, it’s been happening all year ). If you have a sugar sensitive horse, whether it’s from PPID/Cushings or EMS/IR, it’s time to pull them off the pasture, or at the very least put them in a grazing muzzle whenever they are out. Greenguard and Thinline are excellent lightweight grazing muzzle choices that come in a variety of sizes.
The greatest risk is going to be when the weather becomes milder or sometimes after sustained rainfall, like in this mare’s case. Temps above 60°F during the day but near or below 40°F at night are HIGH RISK times for laminitis, even in “normal” horses. Under those conditions, grass utilizes the sun to produce sugars for growth, but the cold night temperatures do not allow the plants to use the sugars effectively. Sugar levels continue to build if there are several of those days in a row, and even if the temperatures increase or decrease out of that zone, the sugar content can stay high for several days.
The warning signs of laminitis can be very subtle. As prey animals, equines often mask this pain until it is unbearable. Keep an eye out for slow/stiff turns, shortened strides on flat ground, constant shifting of weight on the front feet, increased digital pulse, and of course the classic “rocked back” founder stance.
If you suspect your horse has laminitis, take the following action immediately:
1. Call your vet
2. Call your farrier
3. Cold hose or ice the feet if they are warm
4. Pull the horse off of pasture entirely
5. Soak hay for 30 minutes and drain off excess water before feeding to reduce sugar content
The sooner you catch laminitis and begin to treat it, the better chance your horse will have a good recovery. Clogs like the ones below are a great way to help laterally stabilize the foot, offer support over the heels/bars/frog, and ease breakover to reduce stress on the laminae.
We had such a great Family Fun Night yesterday with students from the past, present and potentially the future. For the past 10 years she has provided personalized financial aid services to college-bound families throughout New York and New Jersey. She is also a frequent workshop speaker for high schools, community colleges, and civic associations and did an marvelous job of helping our students in their journey to higher learning.
