I usually don’t bother with the banner when I log on to peruse my latest obsession in fandom, but today (02/14/2022) is apparently International Fanworks Day! And there’s a comments list a mile long (793 pages at time of this posting).
I’m all aflutter.
Also annoyed that there still isn’t any kind of organization on AO3 by fandom, but hey, gotta love the whole madness of AO3 regardless, right?
I will be back later to start compiling some recs of my own, but thought I’d do a shout out to my mutuals who love to read, love to write, or have always wondered about fanfiction and want to get some story recs!

As soon as I found about these figures I had to get them. When both arrived I knew the first pose I needed to try with them together. It took me a while but I got Kylo to hold Rey up all on his own. It’s not the best picture with my phone but these figures look really great from S.H.Figurats. I really want all the other Star Wars ones now. I’m also inspired by that one Japanese twitter account to do some fun photos with them.

AITAF is such a good organisation, the use of theater for expression for those in the armed forces is something I’m 100% behind. I hope The UK takes onboard these ideals to this extent
