LIVE

The foreshadowing… I just cried a lot I actually didn’t know that ScarJo was in this film, I’m surprised that her character will be the one I will mostly cried for in the first place. I hate it. I love her character. Very much #BEARABBIT I WILL LOVE THIS FILM FOREVER! I LOVE YOU ELSA AND JOJO

Jojo Rabbit (2019)

This is a movie full of dead airs, but it’s worth it. Just be open-minded, faggot.

God’s Own Country (2017)

As a teen, all I could do is to agree on this point.

Léon: The Professional (1994)

We can follow a design or path and we can follow the free way.

Moonrise Kingdom (2012)

The worst is when your attention revolves only in a person the whole time that when he’s gone for a long time and you meet again, the first sentence you’ll gonna say is, “Come back to me.”

Ash Is Purest White (2018)

This film has been extraordinarily made. I cried so much watching this film. I watched it after the Oscars Awards 2022 and I’m thankful that it’s not too late for me to recognize and congratulate this kind of team. They made me realize that life is beautiful and everything is beautiful, it’s up to you how you’ll look upon it. This film is indeed a trendsetter. Imagine being the first film made by a streaming service to win the highest award in Oscars? Just great. (Though sometimes Oscars do not recognize other great films). Just to add, the stream/river scene reminded me of All The Bright Places, it was just amazing and wonderful The singing interpretation part to Joni Mitchell’s song is a masterpiece, I remember the Emma Thompson scene in Love Actually and I bet not everyone has seen or heard the song, it’s very very highly recommended to add on your playlist.

CODA (2021)

This is very gay. I hate those review that says, THEY DO NOT HAVE A CHEMISTRY — like whuutt??!! They’re just so pretty and though it’s a slow burn, okay we all know how Francis Lee do it again (since God’s Own Country). Kate is flawless. Saoirse is lit. They’re perfect. Saoirse is the future version of Kate. They’re both gorgeous. The DIY SCENE lmao HAHAHAHA they did it good. The way she sat on her face HELP ME. I’M GIGGLING WATCHING THAT HAHAHA. The 1800’s lesbian. Their characters were based on real persons, but it wasn’t proven that they had connections or interactions during that era.

Ammonite (2020)

I FREAKING LOVE YOU KRISTEN STEWART! I’M JUST ROMANTICIZING YOU RN, WHAT DO YOU SAY? LOL. K, just breathe, in and out. This film is ☺ like this set of emojis. The cinematography, acting, visuals, symbols, script, settings, accuracy is a WIN! There are hilarious scenes and lunatic scenes, that will make you shift for both emotions. I literally cried because I just knew Princess Diana by her name but because of this film, at least something inside me has enlightened. I really enjoyed the freedom in this film. WAAAAHHHHHH, THE HALLUCINATION PARTS CONFUSED EVERYBODY FR! The necklace, Anne Boleyn, stairs and wire cutters!!! I don’t f care about those hate comments about this film, I just love everything. I want to know more about Princess Diana. May her soul will always be in peace. She’s a goddess and a real representation of a person with a kind heart. Wish that there’s a lot of Diana in this world. The representation of Sally Hawkins’ character was a I’m speechless for that. I really thought I’m watching an lgbtq film again haha. Overall, I’ll consider this my go-to film That Oscar nomination, get it babe✨

Spencer (2021)

I summarized the totality of all the comments I’ve seen across various platforms and they all said it’s a “slow burn” film. The first thing I noticed is the crossover of Mary Jane and the name Peter in the film lmao. Actually, you’ll realize that the film’s plot was just mundane but how did they make it spectacular and unforgettable. The runs in this film were in zigzag till the ending hit the vortex or something. The setting was excellent at the same time boring. So many dead air but those are the so called worth it silence. The music was — wait I forgot to search the one they played with the banjo and piano(?) I have to add that song in Spotify playlist right now lol. Ykw, the comment that hurt me the most is that Kodi and Jesses didn’t deserve their oscar nominations, bruh they do! I love you Mr. CUMberbatch though you love Bronco Henry that much — oops I love what I saw in the film jk. The little romance, lgbt theme, betrayal in the end and the surprise have me died. Thank you for that huh Overall, this is an amazing movie that not everyone can enjoy, but I did…. sleep, jk. I really did enjoy it!

The Power of the Dog (2021)

Firstly, I hate science. I came to watch this because of the romance I’m spoiled a long time ago with no proper clearance of their backstory. I am devastated. This made me think of what I’m doing today that I will probably regret later or tomorrow. Imagine of those possibilities if she didn’t interfere to his life, would he still be as great as his legacy today? Or would he still pursue his dreams but not with her? There are millions or even billions of scenario that could come up with a different result but with much and overflowing understanding they still came to a conclusion where they chose different paths because they got tired and lost. They remained friends but I’m still in awe of how things turned out, on how fate beautifully pushed and pulled them apart.

The Theory of Everything (2014)

Though I’ve seen Son Ye-Jin in Crash Landing On You, this film still made me confused if it’s really her I’m watching right now. It’s not that she aged a lot, of course, there’s difference now she’s in her late 30s and getting married sooner to her first love ayieee. She’s an angel that has an immaculate face and voice here. The heart effect they had with her partner to me just made my heart beats go crazy. Melancholy crept into me while I peek at the synopsis. It’s the ignorance that killed me to tears and sadness. Though it’s an open ending for me because I hope that she’ll regain her memory in no time, I still know that it’ll be permanent and lapses may happen always. I’m happy for the heartaches it brought and I’m sad for the little joy it offered me.

A Moment To Remember (2004)

Everything that associated with Jun Ji-Hyun made me feel like I’m riding on a rollercoaster - too many bumps and falling surprise. You’re happy then sob later. She made my heart leap then ache later. Tears of tragedy to romantic tears. Her chemistry with everyone she’s partnered with is undeniably insane. Choi Tae-Hyun is one hell great of an actor too. They surely will bring you to an endless adventure of possibilities and realities in this film. No wonder why I felt so much love and emotions watching this. A highly recommended!

My Sassy Girl (2001)

This is the film I wished I witnessed and seen in the cinemas back then but I was born 4 years late haha. Filipino classic films got this wattpad-novel-plot-like storyline. Though, the chemistry is good. The antagonist is better. The girl protagonist is best. But I’m somehow disappointed on how Rico Yan acted here. I don’t know if this was how he usually did it back then, but he seemed stiff or somewhat. I don’t know if it’s just because he’s handsome that he’s praised but his acting really disappoint me here. Nevertheless, this film maybe is a comfort movie to many. Rest in peace, Rico and I hope that Claudine have a healed heart already.

Dahil Mahal na Mahal Kita (1998)

Probably one of the best movies of 2021. Frankly, I thought the girl was selfish, especially in that very moment she switched the lights on and stopped the world and ran away from her commitment to run towards her ‘cheat.’ But as the film progressed, I could see the tragedy waving. It illustrates the time of our lives when we’re in a state of confusion and in denial. She is perhaps a go-lucky girl with her own principles where she’s the one who makes decisions and choices for her life. I bet that things didn’t go her way because of how fate turned and ended in some kind of miserable mystery, she still looks like found her own passion.

The Worst Person In The World (2021)

Boys in these kinds of dramas are okay, cute, or handsome but got that toxic unchangeable decorum. This lead got that disposition. The girl is hopeless romantic and that’s perfect for the plot lol. Though it’s obvious who is going to be the endgame, I’m just surprised that though I watched this 7 yrs ago, I did not know that the lead guys has a ‘kinship’. However, this is an 11 year old drama with best soundtracks, humor and cast. Still a must watch and recommended.

Flower Boy Ramen Shop (2011)

This is an indeed comfort drama. They gave me a good laugh and joy. Choi Woong is that ideal guy we’re all wishing for. Yoon Soo is that clueless girl but not totally clueless HAHAHA. THIS CHEMISTRY IS AAAAHHH SO CUTE, WILL MAKE YOU BELIEVE IN LOVE AND HAPPY ENDINGS.

Our Beloved Summer (2021)

This once in a blue moon kdrama made me feel a lot of unexplainable emotions. It really is rare that a 16 episode kdrama will turn around in a plot twist that is full of violence and with a bloody theme where scenes are about taking and keeping hostages in a dorm? Now I get why protests and oppositions made move in stopping the airing of this historical drama because it will probably made confusion to the nation that might cause the what-so-called historical distortion. However, I think the story somehow isn’t that of completely twisted. They told the story in a bold and satiric way. I love how those old ladies consult a fortune teller. The spies were unpredictable maybe that’s why the viewers cannot get a hold of what’s going to happen next, and I’m one of those who waited every weekend for two new episodes that will bring new spice in the story. Lastly, how can I not mention all those characters that brought colors to the story. They mixed up the fun and the fear. The chemistry between Jisoo and Hae-In was just too flawless♥. I’m looking forward to seeing them together in a drama again. Rest in peace to our dear Kim Mi-Soo, you are an angel. With that, sadness overflowed and tripled. For that, and the depressing ending.
