Howdy all! Been a bit. So, remember those SCP items I did a while back? They actually did quite well and I had a lot of fun working on them. Well, I intended on doing a whole lot more of them, like what I’ve been doing with the Risk of Rain items. Do a batch at a time and work my way through the list. But that whole plan fell apart when I lost a bunch of the assets I used to make them and I think it was around that time I got overwhelmed with commissions so my personal projects had to take a back seat.
Now that that era of my work is over, I figured it was about time to start working on these again. But hey, since I have to redo everything anyway, why not redo everything? In a continuing effort to go back and revisit my old works, the original batch of SCP items were ripe for a rework.
And quite the rework they got! I’ve got a new Homebrewery theme that mixes old Containment Breach document details with an updated aesthetic, all in a relatively easy to use template that will let me make items much quicker in the future, as well as other SCP themed content. There are SO MANY other items I want to work on, and I’d love the chance to attempt to work on some of the creatures as well. Lots of fun mechanics to work out.
As for the items themselves, I rebuilt basically all of them from the ground up as many of them were super vague in how they worked and were honestly a mess. I also made the decision to not rework the Artist’s Pen. To be frank, while it was kind of a neat item, it wasn’t particularly useful so I swapped it out for something else from my list.

Current Assignment: Site-17 Conscious Euclidian Anomalies (and recovering of Dr.███████)
Profile: Laid back, playful in a usually coy manner, the statuary figure of a weightlifter, azure eyes with horizontal pupils and his red hairs are probably the most distinctive traits of this man along with maybe sets of tentacles casually protruding from his body. Currently an anomaly, Dr.Coughlan has shown various abilities such has:
- uncapped tentacle growth from any surface of his body containing his cells (insides included, seemingly) exception for the mouth. The species whose tentacles belong to seem to vary between Octupus Vulgaris,Nautilus praepompilius, and Chiroteuthis spoeli;
- from one to four Sepia apama-resembling appendages in the oral apparatus, starting, it seems, from behind the bridges of the mouth, which function more or less like additional, extremely flexible and prehensile tongues;

- rapid intake of liquid-based substances, relative moist absorption from the skin;
- a set of unspecific cephalopoda beak forcibly pushing out the teeth to replace them in case of high stress. The removal can only be done manually and once it’s removed and the doctor has calmed down, a normal set of teeth will regrow in place. Only known about the strenght levels of said beak is that it snapped a metal fork in two;
- fast regenerative tissue. Currently recorded is the loss of fingers, generally regrown fully after 10-15 minutes, while a full leg has shown to be taking about an hour (refer to incident ███████)
If there’s going to be developments especially regarding the tests the doctor has yet to take, the list will be correctly updated.
In his free time, he enjoys keeping himself in shape with powerlifting and enjoys socializing
History: Dr. Edna Coughlan was an ordinary researcher at Site-19 until, afteran incident during an analysis of a cross sample from a dead specimen of SCP-2967 and various other non-anomalous cephalopods, he woke up with a missing senior researcher and -turned out days later- a new biology caused by a somewhat pollution of his dna with those of all the speciments present in the room for the evaluation.
Acquired by the foundation as a brilliant but most of all, psychologically firm and relaxed subject with aptitude for the abnormal in a biochimical faculty in ireland the ██ of █/██, he started relatively young to work at the facility as a junior researcher, reaching just the grade above with an evident lack of interest for climbing ladders. Remarkably, he was the only one that could counter the stressful and bitter Dr.███████ (whose current location is at the moment still unknown) and was so chosen by him to run various tests over the evolutive potential of some anomalies, such as 2967 or 057 until the incident.
At the moment he’s been granted senior researcher clearance to fill in the vacant space left by the disappearance of Dr.███████ and at the same time indagate over his disappearance, at the end of which he’ll be revoked the job as employee of the Foundation and contained as SCP-2967-a seeing the current position and amnesia of the subject doesn’t clarify his involvment in the incident, no stance on the situation’s end decisions has been taken yet.
