ASpectrovenator watches as two sauropods march in the direction of the forest, during the Early Cretaceous of what is now Brazil.

The only remains of Spectrovenator found so far were recovered from underneath the skeleton of a sauropod, possibly having being crushed to death.

Cochabamba, Bolivia.

This is one of the girls’ preferred spots for skateboarding for its beauty. It is a little downhill located in Quillacollo on a road that goes to the Pairumani park, in the outskirts of Cochabamba. ImillaSkate, Bolivian female skating collective, wanted to share places that represent their town and the beauty and nature that is always present. The road is filled with iconic trees from Cochabamba’s flora and it is also the area of plantation fields that are responsible for many agricultural workplaces for many people in the community. There’s a wide variety of plants, which is why Cochabamba is called “Ciudad Jardín”, which translates to Garden City. Luisa Dörr

Virtually Reconstructing Lima: Drones, Community Mapping and 3D printers

The Bartlett Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis, the Bartlett Development Planning Unit and the Swiss NGO Drone Adventures, joined local partners in Lima from the 2nd to the 11th of February to map the two case study areas of Barrios Altos and José Carlos Mariátegui. Communities from Lima engaged in a mapping expedition using cutting edge technologies such as mapping drones, to explore new innovative 3D mapping pathways for areas that are undergoing an otherwise ‘invisible’ change.

historyarchaeologyartefacts: The Quimbaya artifacts are several dozen golden objects, found in Colom

historyarchaeologyartefacts:

The Quimbaya artifacts are several dozen golden objects, found in Colombia, made by the Quimbaya culture, dated around 1000 CE, a few of which (the so-called Quimbaya airplanes, one of them shown here) are supposed by ancient astronaut theorists to represent modern airplanes [400×272].

It’s almost like both insects and airplanes follow the same principles of aerodynamics and are thus shaped similarly because technological science is obligated to obey nature’s laws but “WOW ANCIENT ASTRONAUTS??? THAT SURE DOES MAKE A WHOLE LOT MORE SENSE :O” I guess
