My piece for @kingsonicezine!! I got to do Guang Hong Ji on ice!!
this is a short 8 page Yuri on Ice: Little Mermaid AU comic i made for my friend’s birthday. full disclosure, i traced the characters from various screenshots of the show, because i could not figure out how to draw them myself lol.
i imagine the story goes something like: yuuri saves viktor, and he makes a deal with a witch to have legs and finally skate for real. viktor got a nasty flu after his dip in the lake and isn’t sure if the merman who saved his life was part of a fever dream or not, but he’s damn sure he recognizes yuuri from somewhere when he goes back to the lake and sees the dude trying his best to skate on his new legs. viktor teaches him how to skate, is amazed that his new mute student learns so quick, and finally figures it out when he catches yuuri doing viktor’s routine that he’s only ever practiced on the lake. they kiss at sunset or something and it’s happily ever after, THE END.

This is my piece for the @yoi-paws-on-ice-zine. It’s been… like a year and a half since I submitted it, and I finally got the zine in my hands XD (in their defense, the project was HUGE, and they had lots of goodies, and versions!!). I’m just happy I get to share this with y’all!

All the skaters spent new year’s eve together and when the countdown starts, Chris turns around and kisses Yuri from 11:59 pm to 00:01 am. Victor and Steven are pissed, Yuri is surprised and Chris can’t stop laughing because he’s drunk as fuck
i think that everyone agrees with me that we need a spin-off for all the skaters + young victor
Thought I’d share the art I did for the milestones on my fandom blog. By total accident I ended up doing each one in a different style, though all were in Manga/Clip Studio (and all are shining examples of me being too lazy to deal with color hahaha).

The door at the front of the class opens. A tall Russian man, probably in his late twenties walks in. He has ash blond hair that’s half in a messy bun and half spilling down his shoulders. He’s wearing a suit vest, dress shirt, dark jeans and a messenger bag. He’s definitely the professor.
Although it is strange, a Russian with a Japanese last name, Katsuki. Eileen mentally shrugs. She’s seen weirder things.
Eileen watches as the Russian looks at the front of the classroom, checks his phone and frowns. He climbs up to the third row and smiles. Eileen distantly notices that his lips are heart shaped. “Hi! Is this, Japanese 101?”
Eileen nods. “Yeah.”
The man smiles again and Eileen blinks. “Great! Mind if I sit next to you?”
Despite asking, the man barely waits for Eileen to nod before he slides behind her chair and sits in the empty one on her right. Huh. Guess he’s a student then.

Also, it’s the end of inktober! Omg it flew so fast! It’s quite scary actually. I remember starting it full of energy and ideas, then the middle being really difficult and regaining my pace towards the end of it. I’m glad I tried many different things and created some nice illustrations along the way. I hope you enjoyed my work too!
