Yayoi Period
The Yayoi period in Japan is most commonly understood to have lasted from 300 BC-300 AD, and is known as the Japanese Iron Age.
This period was marked with a blooming of land ownership, agriculture, and introduction of class systems due to the introduction of wet rice farming from southern China.
