WOAH THIS POPPED UP ON MY DASH AGAIN! Everyone, this is the binder I use. Its rather comfortable, and it doesn’t feel too constricting to me. In fact, half the time i’m running around in cosplay and i forget im wearing a binder! i do remember to limit my time in the binder to at most 8 hours if not 6, take deep breaths after its off, and to do deep coughs, etc. but honestly using a sports bra was more noticable and uncomfortable than this binder. and they last, too! I recomend it to anyone who can afford it and bind safely!

You’re not any less trans* just because you choose not to bind due to it- it’s a decision for your health, which is super important!

I don’t know how I did it, but I know my amazing boyfriend had something to do with it.
I got my dysphoria under semi-control. It rarely strikes and when it happen I’m able to make it go away with a makeover.
There’s hope. It’s hard but it’s doable. With a lot of love and support, dysphoria can fuck off. You’re not doomed to have horrible dysphoria for the rest of your life.
The path to it is so long and scary, but it’s not impossible.

Reposting this one because it’s gonna be another miserably hot day. I drew this 3 years ago (almost) to the day. To anyone who binds, you are in my thoughts. It’s one of the most uncomfortable things I’ve done. It’s incredibly awful in the summer. Be safe. Stay hydrated. If it’s possible, try a sports bra or go without compressing your chest. Wear cotton and linen. Choose a mid-length binder over the full-length ones. Some suggest baby powder under the binder. For folks with friends who bind, invite them to your air conditioned houses/apartments. Maybe offer them rides in your air conditioned cars if they bike or take public transportation. I never wanted to go anywhere during the summer when I was binding because I knew the trek would be sweaty and awful.
