Then everyone around me begins to laugh.
“Deny it then,” I yell. “Deny me!”
He cannot, of course, so he does not.

so no one talks about this scene where cardan DID KNOW that she was jude. he looked absorbed by his owns thoughts because he knew that locke hurted jude’s feelings, he knew that she actually loved locke too. AND IT BREAKS MY HEART.
