Hear me out: Every Herondale has to proof themselves worthy of the love they receive! Their love will be tested in blood and fire. They have to stand their ground against demons and social expectations (like Edmund), fighting death itself (like Lucie) and sometimes the worst enemy they have to fight are themselves. And some of the Herondales just have to learn basic communication skills (looking at you, my sweet Jamie!)
Some of them fail like Tobias and Stephen did and they suffer greatly for it. But some of the Herondales overcome all the hardships and hurdles and destiny rewards them with amazing everlasting love. Like it’s for Will and Jace.
“Maybe we should do something to try to fit in,” he said to Alec, who was him, leaning against a pillar. “Dance, or something.”
Alec looked at him with loathing. Alec didn’t dance. Alec liked to follow rules, and didn’t like to look silly. It was kind of too bad, Jace always thought, because Alec was a good fighter and people who could fight well could often dance well. But he was pretty sure Alec would rather date a Raum demon than dance in public, even if he was —technically— invisible.

I can’t even begin to describe how heartbroken this news has left me. At 35 years old, Godfrey Gao, our very first Magnus Bane, has died during the filming of a reality show in China.
He was one of the most caring, gentle and heart warming human being who ever graced this world. He will never be forgotten.
Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones in this very difficult moment.
