Bunk thinks he is perfectly innocent publicly posting his bad information. That he is not harming anyone. But he has influence over his loved ones and his friends and maybe even strangers that see his nonsense.
He is a potential superspreader of misinformation.
And that is dangerous.
It’s clear he did almost no research. It’s clear he is basing his opinions on scraps of information he heard god knows where. And yet he speaks with authority and freely spreads his thoughts without a care that what he says is actually true.
I usually try to post fun happy things here, but I think it is important to see these conversations. Maybe you can improve upon what I did in your own personal debates. I know trying to convince people is difficult and frustrating, but we must try to stop the spread of misinformation. We need to get through to those friends and family members who have been duped by the likes of Tucker Carlson and other hucksters.

We found a solution for the COVID-19 pandemic! Liquid rubber nanobots that feed on certain viruses! They search for people infected with the corona virus (mostly those ‚free thinkers’ who refuse to wear a mask) and attach to their faces as gas masks. Once their victims body is fully covered in skin tight rubber (even mimicking the style of their clothes and enhancing their bodies!) it‘s impossible for the virus to get out. The masks will filter all the viruses out of the victim’s breath to consume them, protecting the rest of humanity from a further spread. To ensure that corona stays under control, the transformed targets will be locked in the shiny latex as long as there is any type of virus in their body. In this time, they will be constantly hypnotised and all thoughts of rebellion or disobedience will be suppressed so they support the scientific measurements taken to fight the disease. The only question is… what shall we do with all the full rubber hunks that suddenly appear everywhere? … and why are those rubber guys so eager to follow orders from dominant men and meet up in large groups in hidden places, producing lots of squeaking noises? So many questions… These nanobots would be a compelling arguments to actually take off the mask and let them get me. But since they are just one of my many kinky fantasies: Please wear your mask and protect yourself and others!
I want to be traveling the world before I have kids, a mortgage and other responsibilities tying me down.
I want to be trying new things before I work full time; drumming, sports, new languages.
I want to be learning who I am. Trying new styles. Making mistakes, because now is the time to do it.
I want to make memories and take pictures of me before I get old and wrinkly and grey.
But I can’t. Because the place I live is not safe for me, and if I go outside it may mean I’m never well enough again to do any of that. So I wait. I’ve waited for two years now and I see no end in sight. I wait and I wait and I wait.
