Year of Yarn - September 11, 2019 - WIPW
Oops. I forgot to take a photo of this before I finished it. So it’s not exactly a WIP but oh well.
Who would be interested in crocheted dice bags? I was thinking of trying a few solids and maybe some Pride colors.
So… I made a thing…
It’s been awhile since I’ve done any crocheting or knitting, so I was kinda slow making this bag.
Also, can not figure out how to bring my crocodile stitches to a nice point… So rather than looking like dragon scales, it looks like flower petals. Still pretty, just not what I was going for lol
Ah, and it’s purpose is to be a dice bag ;)

I made this satchel for an old friend. It’s made from Stainless Steel with Brass decoration, all welded-links. I used Euro 4-In-1 with a row reduction for the bottom of the bag and with a micro-maille drawstring for the top. It even clasps back to a locking link to safely secure whatever’s inside! This was a fun gift to make and each time I make Chainmaille outside of the mindset of the marketplace I fall back in love with the craft. That’s good to remember. I almost didn’t post this for the same reason, but here we are. Okay that’s all for today. It’s one million degrees here in Portland and my mind has settled to a puddle at the bottom of my skull

Look how dang cute this little fella is! (yeah yeah, the tag said to not let the dragon near pets, but, I think him and Echo got along well. Though Echo has been acting very suspicious lately.)
This is downright one of the best, and cutest dice bags I have ever owned. It can hold at least 15 sets, probably more if you are feeling daring. (I have 7, 10 and 12 piece sets in there!) Chessex, HD, Kraken, The Dragon Bagon doesn’t discriminate, He likes all dice, but he can also hold cards, or perhaps even shiny rocks or really anything you want! He stands at 8- 8.5 inches tall.
He’s durable! He has traveled to many dnd sessions, made many friends, He is even going to get some more dragon friends to hang out with at the session table! He’s gotten many hugs, friends can’t resist his soft felt.
the opening on his belly ties tight, no dice are escaping from this dragons hoard, even while inside a backpack. You don’t have to fear your the dragon’s dice spilling everywhere!
You maybe asking yourself right now, “Boxofdice, where on earth did you get this cute dragon bagon”? i know all of my friends were. well I got it from @waywardmasquerade. They have an Etsy shop! The dragons come in different colors too! you got the blue/rainbow, black/red and green/purple!
