Today is one of the best day of my summer. I finally got to hold and see my nephews after 4 years. I haven’t seen them since before they turn one yr old. I’m so in love with them. I got teary eyed when they gave me hugs and kisses. “Do you still remember me when I both feed you and changed your diapers?!” Lol I would do it all over again. I was so tired today from the heat but I have to see them today when my cousin told me they just arrived from Texas. That’s Colton, Colby and colton’s little blue fluffy bunny named “MARSHMALLOW” . I can’t wait to see them again this FRIDAY!! I AM THE HAPPIEST AUNT IN THE WORLD! This is a very late post. I had to take a day to relax my body after the 2 day birthday weekend for my mom’s 60th birthday. Went to Carlsbad Flower Field with #family. We had such a great time. My hair didn’t do justice it was so windy! Lol Next day Sunday on her actual birthday. Did every thing on her wish list sort of. Lol. Went to church, have family lunch together, went to watch a movie, I went with her shopping. lol more like I’m waiting in the car while she shops. Finally I took her to SEPHORA! I’ve been wanting to take her there for soo long! The end of her birthday weekend I MADE HER FEEL BEAUTIFUL. That what counts the most. Now I just need to teach her some few makeup tricks. The rental market moves very quickly, properties are here today and gone tomorrow. As a realtor my goal is always to get you into the place you love not the place you settle for. The easiest way to get this done is by my renter being prepared.
How to be prepared:
-Have recent paystubs/bank statements
-KNOW YOUR CURRENT CREDIT SCORE!!! Have credit report prepared
-Have a current background check(some landlords do this on their own as well)
-Clean rental history is always best but in the event that yours isn’t perfect have the details regarding the problem and how your going about fixing it prepared.
-Have your down payment and app fee ready
-Don’t wait until the last week you need to be out of your place to start looking. You should give yourself atleast 8 weeks to search.

Buying a home is a journey.Some people are lucky enough to find the perfect home on their first showing, while others may have to see 30 properties before one “calls their name.” Regardless of your process one thing you do need is a realtor that is going to work for you, listen to your needs, and offer a level of customer service beyond your expectations. Having the wrong realtor leading your journey will add more stress than required for a house search/buy.
We may all be licensed, but we are not the same. Choose wisely.
