LIVE

Hello sweets
It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything. Over winter break I was sick with a really bad cold. And since my college classes have started, I’ve been concentrating on that and working.
I’ve never really talked about myself on here that much, so I feel like I should post a few facts about me

1. I’m 20 years old, college student, and live with my parents.
2. My goal is to be able to make money on my lifestyle blog, freelance writing, and possibly open my online store one day so I can quit my job and still make enough to move out and live on my own.
3. I’ve been dating the same guy for about 5 years (since we where freshman in high school) and he is my best friend. We are very close and have been through a lot, but we stick together. To be completely honest, we are both very codependent on one another. So I’m using this blog to really make myself independent and happy even when I’m a lone, and get my glo up. Because I’ve kind of let myself go because I’ve gotten so comfortable with him.
3. I want to double major in marketing in finance and I want my masters degree. I want to own my own business one day.
4. I screwed up really bad my second semester of college so I am behind in getting my degree, but it doesn’t matter how fast you go, just keep moving.
5. I’m the most clutter brained person ever, and I’m super indecisive

As far as my glo up, I’m getting things in order to redecorate my bedroom so it can be my creative space. I also got a gym membership and have been better about drinking water so woohoo!

Okay, so, I’ve seen mad tips advocating the use of coconut oil as lube. Honestly, I would not suggest that.

For starters, coconut oil breaks down condoms. Let’s be real, babes, if you have multiple partners, or your partner has multiple partners, you should be using condoms. STIs and STDs are real.

Second, coconut oil is a comedogenic oil which means it tends to clog pores and cause blackheads. This is fine when you use it on your body, but sensitive areas like your face or vagina aren’t places you want clogged pores. Clogged pores on your vagina can cause bumps and ingrown hairs.

Third, coconut oil is antibacterial. That’s excellent for cleaning cuts and burns, but not to vaginal health. Your vagina is self cleaning and using anything antibacterial in, on, or around it will disrupt the good bacteria there. This means yeast infections galore, and who wants that?

As with all hoe tips, this is just personal opinion and advice. If it works for you, there’s no need to change. But if you’ve just added coconut oil to your kitty’s routine and you’re finding some things are out of whack, it’s probably not for you.

Stay positive!

Thankyou for the overwhelming love so far; I realised that my tips are more random beauty and self care tips, but I’ll carry on under the thread ‘hoe tips’

✨hiding a hickey efficiently depends on the colour. More red? Use green concealer. Purple? Yellow concealer. Alternatively Salmon works for purpley hickeys on pale skin and more orangey tones work for darker skin. Remember whatever colour u use u gotta set with a concealer over it and then a powder that matches ur skin tone.

LA girl concealer and Kat Von D liquid lipsticks are added to the sexproof makeup list guys

✨baby oil n coconut oil are great for shaving as I already covered but baby oil erodes condoms and coconut oil has been known to so never use as sexual lube (coconut oil for head is fabbbb)

✨make urself a DIY lip scrub to avoid ugly winter chapped lips with brown sugar, honey, coconut oil (I’ve made one myself and definitely approve)

✨for longer curlier looking eyelashes blast ur eyelash curler under the hairdryer for 10 secs, wait a little to start to cool and use on clean eyelashes before mascara (disclaimer - thank me later but be sure to feel that the metal has cooled down just incase it makes contact with ur skin )

✨Mix up Castor oil, aloe Vera gel and vitamin E oil and apply on lashes and brows every night / this thickens and promotes growth better than castor oil alone

✨Put Bio oil on your acne if it leaves a mark/redness when it’s gone down, it’ll help heal the scars

✨The best cooling facial spray is rosewater - it’s a great toner and if you live in a humid/warm climate you can put some in a travel spray bottle and carry it with you for when you need to cool your face! I do this when I’m traveling and it’s been said to help with acne and scars

✨An apple cider vinegar hair rinse helps me with dandruff, leave it on for 5 minutes then rinse out

✨Don’t use toothpaste on acne as it can burn the skin or make it extra flaky when it’s healing !!!

✨Bentonite clay and Apple cider vinegar mixed together as a face mask is something I swear by weekly to keep my skin calm

✨to reduce chance of a UTI u gotta pee before AND after sexual activity

✨condoms are compulsory part of the kit, don’t be getting those STI’s; use them even if ur on the pill caus backup contraception = peace of mind ❤️

I almost have 1000 followers! Thank you guys so much for following me, it means a lot. And I love helping people with questions or giving them advice, so send me an ask or a message, and let me know if you need advice, have a question, or have any requests of what kind of glo up related posts you wanna see! I’ll answer every ask!

Hi All

It’s been a minute but I really want to get back to this blog. I do a lot of organic hippie shit now, would yall be into that?

little-rosegarden:

Rose’s Hoe Tips :

- Add 1-2 cups of diluted apple cider vinegar to a bath for a better pH balance.

- A mixture of cinnamon and honey makes a good lip scrub (make sure you’re not allergic first.)

- Lunges and side lunges are one of the best leg workouts.

- Don’t over exfoliate. Your skin/lips will only get dryer. 1-2 times a week is plenty.

- Tie your hair up loosely at night

- Satin/silk pillowcases and sheets are better than cotton.

- Try to drink at least 4 bottles of water a day (about 40-64oz.)

- Flossing/using mouthwash before brushing really does help.

- Your hair will have breakage if you have it tied up too tight.

- Put at least 20% of your money in savings.

- Eggs and nuts can be substitutes for meat.

- Lighting a candle helps with relaxation and focus.

- Even if you don’t have time to work out, walking or doing some yoga helps your body.

- One of my favorite Detox waters consists of lime, lemon, and cucumber.

- Try to substitute coffee/soda/energy drinks with tea.

- Having good posture will help you in the long run.

- Even if you don’t have bad and/or dry skin apply a moisturizer.

- To decrease bloating drink plenty of water and peppermint tea.

- Exfoliate your lips with a damp toothbrush.

- Dark chocolate (in small quantities) is a good snack. Especially if you’re on your period.

- Remember to eat at least 3 servings of fruits and veggies a day. (Bonus: they’ll make your kitty taste and smell better.)

- Sunscreen is a must! The sun can be very harmful to the skin.

- Applying vaseline to your wrists before spraying perfume will make the fragrance last longer.

- Applying hair conditioner to you kitty before/when shaving will give you a smoother shave.

- You’ll also get a smoother shave if you let your legs/kitty soak in the bath before and during shaving.

- Don’t wear tight, sexy panties all of the time! Let your kitty breathe and wear cotton panties sometimes.

- Don’t procrastinate. Try making a deal with yourself: if you don’t procrastinate things all week you can treat yourself to some junk food, new clothes, etc.

- I personally feel so better when my nails are done.

- Learn something new! For example: if you learn how to do your nails yourself then you don’t have to make an appointment and spend money at a salon.

- Stretch your body! Having a stiff body isn’t fun and you’re more prone to injuries.

That’s all for now

sugarspicesavage:

Hi y'all, so I’ve been doing make up for years for proms and weddings and engagement photos and such and thought I would offer some tips because I love make up and maybe not everyone knows these! Obvi keep in mind everyone is different and these may not work for you…

- Try Nivea’s Sensitive Post Shave Balm for Men as a primer. A little goes a long way and rub it in until it gets tacky

- There is literally no reason to buy mascara from high end brands and I’m a high end whore. My favorite is the Clump Crusher water resistant

- If you can’t decide between two foundation colors, choose the one that’s lighter. Bronzer can fix that shit quick

- The “buy concealer that is 56 shades too light” trend needs to die. One or two shades is plentyyyyy you don’t wanna look like a reverse raccoon and flash photography only makes it worse

- BAKE your under eyes and if you’re hoeing tbh bake your entire face. Message me if you don’t know what baking is

- Two best foundations I’ve ever used are the Too Faced Born This Way and Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra 24hr

- Stop applying your make up with your hands ladies pls buy a beauty blender and get it damp

- Take the foundation off your lips once you’ve set it bc if you just put lip product over it it’ll bunch up in the corners of your mouth

- Sigma has great brushes and shed less than any of my high end brushes. I’d definitely recommend splurging and getting a full set of them

- Do not base your purchases off of sellout YouTubers that are getting paid to say everything they’re saying

- Buy a setting spray and spray your eyeshadow brush w it before applying shimmery eye shadows and spray your whole face with it when you’re done

- I see girls on here all the time saying not to wear falsies which I think is absolutely insane but my falsies advice is start with individuals and work up to strips. That’s what I did

- Exfoliate your face and use the Biore black head strips on your nose for smoother make up application

- Don’t leave your lower lash line bare. I see this so much and it’s super weird looking. Do a little eyeshadow and mascara at the least to complete the whole look

- Avoid matte lipstick/liquid lips unless you’re sure your lips are smooth hydrated and snatched otherwise they will look like a butthole in 15 minutes

- W/ eyebrows and make up: less is more girl. ESPECIALLY from a man’s perspective

- If you’re going to put a base shadow down before doing your eyeshadow look (which I’d recommend), avoid putting it anywhere you’ll put shimmer and instead fill that space with a cream eyeshadow or more primer to make that shimmer popppp
- Wash your beauty blender every time you use it or it will grow mold I promise

- Buxom’s lip glosses are the absolute best. They are so high quality, smell good, last FOREVER, and tingle on your lips like mint

- Clean your make up brushes as often as you can (I wish I did more than I do) not only because it’s hygienic but because they will apply SO MUCH BETTER

- If your eyebrows are always rubbing off, invest in a waterproofing liquid to put over them. NYX has a cheap one that really works

- Make sure to go over the line of your falsies with black eyeliner to hide the glue. I don’t care if the glue is “clear” or “black” it’s visible

- If you can’t find a contour color that’s cool toned enough try an eyeshadow!

- Put tons of highlight on your cupid’s bow it’s so cute in my opinion and always gets lots of compliments

- TAKE YOUR MAKE UP OFF EVERY NIGHT. DO NOT SAVE YOUR MAKE UP FOR THE NEXT DAY. Some girls will fight me on this but imo no make up is cuter than gross make up and it’s so bad for your skin

- If your eyes are always watering your shit off get some anti-allergy or anti-dryness (whichever you think you have) eye drops

- You can exfoliate your lips before lipstick application easily with honey and sugar. Do this before putting on foundation and such. If you’re a bougie bitch you can buy scrubs from places like Lush

- I’m convinced that Burts Bees is the only chapstick I’ve ever used that didn’t make me end up needing chapstick more than I did in the first place

- If you don’t have time to wash off your make up then just use a make up wipe! The Kirkland brand ones are my all time faves because they don’t sting my eyes or leave a residue on my face

- Stop over washing your face. It makes it produce more oil to compensate and it could be why you have acne

- You don’t need to pay to get your brows waxed/threaded if you just pluck the spare 2 or 3 brows that grow out of place each day. You’ll keep your shape, save money, and your brows will always look good

- If you don’t use eyeshadow primer please buy some and watch your entire eyeshadow collection transform. If you can’t afford it but have concealer that’s second best and still works well

I could go on forever and might make a part two but I’m tired now. Probably going to make a make up favorites list by product category soon!

Message me with any make up questions ever because I love blabbing about it! Spread the luv and happy face beating!!

ACNE STICKER DOTS

Okay, I know this sounds crazy. Just trust me on this

Image result for cosrx stickers

This little sheet of goodness has been a lifesaver!! You stick a dot on any active pimples and they pretty much disappear overnight. I pick at my active pimples like crazy tryig to pop them, but the sticks will either deflate the active zone or soak up sebum from the inside. It’s a godsend. It works best on like, actual pimples, not whiteheads or blackheads (unless they are raised or infected)

SEX MUST-HAVES!!!

Okay so i get a Bunch of asks about lube and what makes sex feel good so here is my must have list for sexy time!!!

- a bottle of water. I’m a squirter so i get crazy dehydrated. Trust me on this one

- Condoms!!!!! Personally, I love ONE condoms or Trojan Magnums. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT use the ultra thin shit. It will break under vigorous sex. That stuff is fucking scary

- Lube!! No matter how wet you are or what his size is, lube is never ever ever a bad idea. My favorites are h2o Sliquid (water-based), Wicked Anal Jelly (water-based, not just for anal), and Pur Silicone lube (safe for condoms)

- A vibrator. For me, cumming isn’t necessary but seeing as i don’t get off from partner stimulation, it’s good to have. I have a basic one from Doc Johnson

- Lastly, COMMUNICATION!!!!! You cannot have good sex if you aren’t talking through is or laughing or moaning. Lots of people love verbalizing, I’m sure he does too!!

prokopetz:

It’s recently come to my attention that not too many people know this, so: if you’re in the habit of sitting in front of your computer while minimally dressed, you should be washing your chair with strong disinfectant soap on a regular basis. Fabric saturated with ground-in skin oil is a breeding ground for all sorts of nasty stuff; if your back and thighs keep having acne breakouts no matter how diligently you shower, and you can’t figure out why, the reason may be because you’re sitting in a filthy chair!

(The same goes if your forearms keep mysteriously breaking out and your chair has armrests that are covered in fabric or otherwise porous.)

Hoe Tips: Periods 101

1. Ibueprofen/Tylenol + ginger ale= cure for cramps and mygraines

2. Have a designated set of cheap, cotton, breathable period panties that you don’t mind getting stains on for when your time of the month comes

3. Easy guide for tracking your cycle:

  • Day 1: first day of your period (typically 3-7 days)
  • Days 7-11: preparation for ovulation
  • Days 11-15: ovulation (eggs are releasing, most likely time to get pregnant)
  • Days 21-28: preparation for your next period (potential PMS occurs here)
  • Repeat cycle

4. Ask your OBGYN about birth control if your period symptoms are severe, or your period is irregular. Hormonal medication can help track your period better and ease symptoms.

5. Exercise and drinking lots of water can help ease period symptoms DRAMATICALLY.

6. Green tea also eases migraines and period cramps.

7. If you want to have period sex without the bloody mess:

  • Take 2 ibueprofen about 15 mins beforehand (reduces swelling and bleeding)
  • Clean your labia with a vaginal cleanser or with gentle soap and water beforehand
  • If you know you’re having sex later in the evening, wear a Soft Cup during the day. It’s $12 for a pack of 8, sold at Rite Aid or CVS, they last up to 12 hours, easy to insert and remove, and you dont feel a thing when you’re wearing one. For some reason, when I wore one and took it out in the evening to have sex with my mans, I was blood-free for HOURS. It works, ladies.
  • Leave a towel down on the bed just in case.

8. I really recommend Soft Cups for period use in general; they last longer than tampons and pads, are the most comfortable option, and they aren’t linked with TSS.

9. Don’t use Soft Cups if you have an IUD, however, as it could get stuck or mess with the placement of the IUD if not inserted properly.

10. Masturbate during your period. It relieves stress, boosts your mood, and can ease cramps.

11. If you are on the pill, and you start spotting a rusty colored, light flow in the middle of your cycle, it is NOT your period. Some brands of birth control cause breakthrough bleeding, in which the hormonal imbalances that can sometimes result from the pill causes a weak inner uterline lining that is shed in the form of light blood. It doesn’t hurt, and usually only happens within the first few months of taking the pill, but if it persists ask your OBGYN about it.

12. If you’re spotting or bleeding lightly about a week after ovulation, and you’ve had sex within the past 5-6 days, there is a very good chance it is not your period coming early. Sometimes, implantation of a fertilized egg can cause inflammation of the endometrial lining of your uterus, causing the spotting. This is a very early indication of pregnancy in some cases, and you should purchase a test to be sure.

13. If your cramps flare up, try spreading your legs to the side so they are in line with your shoulders, lean forward slightly, and enter a squatting position.

14. Getting period stains out of cute panties:

  • ¼ parts hydrogen peroxide
  • ¾ parts ice cold water
  • Soak panties for 30 mins to an hour
  • Dry as usual

15. Make a period playlist of your favorite happy music to keep your moods up.

16. The statistics are low, but you can still get pregnant on your period. YOU CAN STILL GET PREGNANT ON YOUR PERIOD.

17. You can track your cycle also by testing the quality of cervical mucus that ever-so-annoyingly leaks into your panties. If your mucus is thicker, whiter, and sweeter smelling than usual, you are probably ovulating.

Hope this helps

Quick sex tips you need to know:

- using two male condoms together, or a male and female condom together, isn’t safer. The friction between them makes them more likely to tear. Use one.

- coconut oil doesn’t make good lubricant. The antibacterial properties can mess with your vagina’s natural flora and cause infections.

- never use oil-based lubricants with latex condoms! The oil breaks down the latex quickly, increasing your chances of tears. Use a water-based lube!

- natural, membrane or lambskin condoms prevent pregnancy, but they cannot prevent STDs or HIV. If you’re using them, it’s important everyone is tested.

- if a man puts a condom on the wrong way, don’t turn it around and put it back on - throw it out and use a new one. It is no longer protection against STDs.

- if you’ve got a vagina and your guy’s penis is on the smaller side, try doggy style or cowgirl

- if you’ve got a vagina and your guy’s penis is uncomfortably large, try standing sex, or straddling him while he sits cross-legged

• don’t pull their head back all the way and expect normal sounding moans/words

• PEE AFTER SEX

•massage her outer labia with firm but gentle pressure when rubbing her clit. The clitoris is an a branched organ that dips down the vulva into the outer labia.

• If he has forskin, gently pull it down, wet your tongue, and gently lick the head of his cock. It’ll drive him wild.

• dip your hips down a little lower to catch his balls against your pelvis, and gently squish them as you slide up. It’ll add extra sensation for him, and it’ll push him against a very sensitive part inside of you.

• PEE AFTER SEX!!!!!

• If it’s cold, wear socks. Cold feet makes it harder to orgasm.

• If you can’t fit his whole cock in your mouth, grip the base of his cock with your thumb and forefinger, and gently cup and squeeze his balls. Total unit fun!

• Lay her on her side with a pillow under her hip. Make her curl into the fetal position.
~Only start out going in about half way, as this bends the vaginal canal in a way that any more than that may be painful

• To help arousal (erections and wetness) last longer, take breaks for heavy makeout sessions. You can choose to stay attached, or give your bits a break.

Girl code isn’t a joke

Ladies, I just want to say that there is almost nothing more disrespectful than dating a guy your friend just broke up with, especially without her permission. It doesn’t matter if the guy was great, or if he completely sucked. Almost every breakup is a hard one, and if it’s a bad break, there’s gonna be some hard feelings left behind. If you seriously have the nerve to believe everything is ok and even consider yourself a friend after deciding to date your friend’s ex WITHOUT ASKING THEM IF IT’S OK (and honestly, it’s NEVER ok), you are incredibly disillusioned. Girl code is legit and friends stick by it. Girls watch out for each other. You can’t support your friend when they’re in distress about a relationship then turn around and date the guy she was crying about a month later. It’s WRONG. Girls don’t break girl code. Friends don’t break girl code. DON’T DATE YOUR BRO’S HOE.

bruchastudy:

-Don’t use a product with mint in it, mint is irritable to the skin (esp. to acne prone).

-Try to avoid products with alcohol in them; they can dry out your skin!

-NEVER apply essential oils on your skin if they are not significantly diluted. It will burn and damage your skin!

-Wear sunscreen EVERYDAY and re-apply every 2 hours

-Avoid picking your skin/touching your skin as much as possible!

-Every skin type needs to moisturize!!! Yes, even oily skin! (remember to also moisturize your neck + body)

-Rosehip oil will help heal your acne scars (apply before you go to sleep).

-Drink lots of water!

-Work towards consuming less sugary foods + dairy products (if you can), and instead eat/drink more antioxidants like green tea, dark chocolate, berries, pecans, etc.

-Exfoliate once or twice a week to remove dead skin cells.

-You do not need to have a 10 step routine, or a million products to have healthier skin. Applying too many on acne prone skin will just cause more inflammation.

-You do not need to use a toner. For some people toners are very beneficial, for others it dries out their skin. Find out what is best for you!

-Don’t put sugar on your skin; it is too harsh of an exfoliant!

idk who needs to hear this but your nose looks fine. you don’t need a nose job

fallingstars-suggestion:

i want to become a healthier version of myself. that means i have work to do and it can be a bit overwhelming. but i have plenty of time. and so do you.

it’s never too late to change your habits, to change your mind, to change your direction.

cerencia:

start working out now. make that hair dresser appointment now. let your next meal be the healthiest you’ve ever eaten. move the furniture in your room right now. text that old friend or crush. make a new playlist. go on a run. open a window. it doesn’t matter what you do, no matter how big or small change is; change is change. and it will always, always, alwayshelp you to turn your life around and clear your head. it gives you that boost, that confidence to be a better version of yourself, no matter the impact it has.

lovelysuggestions:

do not put up with passive agression. the people in your life should respect you enough to be straight forward with you. If someone does not come to you directly with an issue, it is not yours too fix. you can’t spend all your time picking apart your relationship with someone, searching for what you did, and blaming yourself when you don’t even know what for. it’s not fair for people to put you through that.

falastinniya:

you’ve gotta stat romanticizing your life. you gotta start believing that your morning commute is cute and fun, that every cup of coffee is the best you’ve ever had, that even the smallest and most mundane things are exciting and new. you have to, because that’s when you start truly living. that’s when you look forward to every day.

virgoassbitch:

The best thing I ever did was stop trying to water myself down to make myself softer or less aggressive. I naturally have a strong presence & I own the space I take up in this world even if some people think I’m too much.

psychotic-psypport:

Fuck anyone who tries to make you feel ashamed of who you are. They don’t know jack shit about what you’ve survived, and you don’t owe them any explanation or apology. If you aren’t hurting anyone, you have nothing to be ashamed of. Be proud. You deserve it.

peachisty:

feel good things:

  • watch sunrises.somehow, this makes me feel like the beginning of something new, the birth of my better, stronger self. watch the way the sun rises, because just like that, you will rise and shine, too.
  • sing your heart out. dance until you’re exhausted. make art until you run out paint. write out your feelings. indulge in your passion and do it like you’re doing it to impress yourself.
  • relive your favorite, happiest memory. it is one easy guaranteed effective way to make your heart, your soul, and even your lips smile. no bias.
  • rewatch your favorite film. grab some chips or a bucket of popcorn and have a marathon of your most-watched flicks. don’t hesitate to replay your favorite scenes if you feel the need to.
  • aspire and try to be kind, always. being kind on a daily basis is possibly one of the most exhausting and draining thing to ever do but i promise at the end of the day, before you go to sleep you will realize: it is worth it. always.
  • take a shower. scrub off your creeping self-doubts, smell nice, and bask yourself with self-love. take your time to ponder about your life inside the tub. this is the best time to reevaluate and relax.
  • be spontaneous even just for one day.drive away from the city. get a haircut. go on a coffee shop hopping. sketch random places. let your heart and your thoughts wander. let your soul soar and be free.
  • treat yourself. it does not necessarily have to be something enormous or expensive. it could just be a new set of brushes or getting a thrifted second-hand book or buying yourself some bouquet of fresh flowers. it’s not about the tags, it’s about the thought.
  • rekindle your love for a forgotten passion. nothing beats falling in love with something the second time around. touch your dusty piano keys, change your rusty violin strings, and once again (just like the old days), let your ardor dance in harmony.
  • take a nap. because sometimes, the best way to temporarily solve something, is to do nothing. yes, it is only ethical to give yourself a break from the overwhelming society. and yes, taking a nap most of the time makes everything better.
  • if you want to or feel the need to, cry. there is nothing wrong with doing something that is inherent. this does not prove that you are weak, it only proves that you are a human being capable of feeling things. so really, do not ever plan to hinder yourself from crying. it’s often times therapeutic.
  • do something that you have never done before.no more excuses. just because there is nothing more empowering and satisfying than crossing something out of your bucketlist.

cut off those damn people that are interfering with your vibe already!

if you wear makeup, experiment with different things. try different colors, try false eyelashes, try new techniques. but remember you do NOT need makeup, it is just for fun!

put your phone/device down more. when you’re with friends, family, out in public, try to refrain from letting it distract you. you’ll find yourself more attentive and enjoying people and activities more when you put the electronics down.

compliment people! if you ever think you’re “too shy” to, just think how the compliment will make the other person feel. just do it. it’s an amazing feeling.

keep a good posture. not only is sitting/standing/walking up straight better for your body, but it makes you look more confident.

keep things clean. whether it be you, your room, house, pets, yard, etc. maintain them. it really helps.

learn when to say no. don’t be a doormat. go with your brain, not your heart. don’t feel bad for saying no, either.

if you have a hobby or passion, go after it, educate yourself, pursue it. practice. you only get better.

never forget that your diet has a major affect on how your body functions. you eat shit constantly, you’ll most likely feel like shit.

sugar scrubs are great for your body and they make you feel like an angel. you can buy them at certain stores but i prefer to make my own out of coconut oil, sugar, honey, and vanilla. it leaves me so soft, and smelling great.

stop letting your laundry pile up. clean your sheets and pillowcases once a week, too.

some of these i’m even working on myself and if there’s anything else you want to add, go ahead. just remember that working towards your goals and bettering yourself is amazing, but do not compare your progress or yourself to others, you will always be damn beautiful, and you are valid. sending everyone love!

reposting this because it’s that time of year again

writingsforwinter:

If you lose interest in someone, tell them.

If you’re not looking for a relationship, tell the person you’re seeing.

If you’re thinking of ghosting someone, tell them.

If you can’t handle meeting up with someone after all, tell them.

If you’re terrible at responding to messages, tell people.

If you prefer talking in person to texting, tell people.

If you’re seeing several people at the same time, tell them.

If you’re looking for sex rather than dating, tell the person you’re seeing.

It is not difficult to be a decent and honest, open, communicative human being. Respect those whom you interact with and have relationships with by telling the truth instead of leading them on or being deceitful.

feministism:

dear BOYS & MEN

you are handsome, valid, and amazing regardless of your body type. society’s crazy expectations do not dictate your worth. you don’t have to have styled hair to be good looking. you don’t have to have a six pack or muscular arms to look good. you don’t have to be 6’1 to be dateable. you don’t have to have a sharp jawline to be attractive. cellulite, fat, hair, whatever: you’re alright. you are incredible as you are. I hope you feel like it someday soon, if not now

You can always start again. Clean out your social media. Create a new account for your new taste in music. Study or work in a new city. Start socialising with new people. Choose a new signature scent and style and purge the outdated parts of yourself. If you don’t like where you’re at, but you don’t know what to do about it - try starting again.

astrodickology:

To all my teenage girls who don’t know:

Just cause he wants to fuck you doesn’t mean he loves you

Just cause you have sex with him, doesnt mean he loves you, or respects or emotionally cares for you

Having sex with a guy doesn’t mean he’s gonna stay with you or respect you

Losing your virginity isnt the end all be all of everything, your not “giving a part of yourself ” to him. You were whole before him.

more tips…

  • if you use a lot of heat styling tools or your hair is thin and easily damaged, get it cut every 6-8 weeks.
  • conditioner or moisturising treatments won’t fix split ends, the only way to get rid of them is to cut them.
  • however, if you regularly condition your hair (or deep condition once a week) and use heat protectant spray, you could prevent split ends.
  • keratosis pilaris is very common (dry, often red bumps on the skin - basically where your skin struggles to exfoliate itself) and it can be made better by moisturising daily. don’t pick at it or use harsh soaps on it as it is sensitive. try not to exfoliate it every day.
  • remember to clean your makeup brushes every 2 weeks, with just warm water and shampoo/soap.
  • don’t store your makeup or brushes in the bathroom as this is the most unhygenic room in the house and the damp conditions can cause mould to grow on the brushes over time.
  • make sure you clean the packaging on your actual makeup too. if you’ve been ill and you’ve been touching your makeup, you could be prone to getting ill again when you use it.
  • if you want whiter teeth, use a whitening toothpaste 2-3 times a week.

For whiter teeth I use a bamboo toothbrush with charcoal infused bristles and charcoal toothpaste! It works really well for me

When you have dry skin that is flaking off, use a CLEAN spoolie brush (the curly eyebrow/eyelashes one) to gently remove the dead skin so it’s less visible
