The characters of the day are Mia and Maxie from Scaredy Cat
They are both wlw!
I find that a rise in LGBT in books, tv, movie etc to be so inspiring an outstanding. I love how people are finally getting the idea that if you want your audience to feel a connection to a character you charter has to be real. A HUGE part of real life is the LGBT community.
But I dislike when shows and books just throw LGBT characters in there with no development. It is great to see some representation but why is that character gay for like two episodes or the last thirty seconds of a movie.When I first started writing LGBT I asked people I knew what it was like and the answer was always different. The only thing all those people had in common was it took time to find that part of themselves. It is so inspiring to hear those stories and to implement them can teach your audience such important lessons about self-discovery. When That story is just thrown in I feel like something great just got thrown out.

She wears a gold hoop earring, and her long sleeveless lingerie coat is now half pale salmon pink and half pale baby blue (same color as the pony tail holders) with pink on our right and blue on our left. Each side seems to have a heart and 3 diamonds in the colors of the opposite side (like a yin and yang reversal) sensually placed over the breast. The coat is torn at its bottom edges as if its seen a lot of action. Harley seems to have red tattoes on the side that faces the viewer, including a tattoo on her upper arm that bears resemblance to a poison ivy leaf by combining three red diamonds in the shape of a club (like from a card game). Red diamond tattoos circle her wrist and ankle like bracelets, and we can see that blue diamonds encircle her other ankle that sticks out between Poison Ivy's legs. She has red nail polish on the one hand that we can see. The lacey parts of her underwear bear resemblance to the spiraled thorn designs on ivy's boots. A slight natural buldge sticks out from her underwear, and the non-lacey charcoal parts attatch via garters to smoky and semi-teansparent nylon stockings. A red stiletto on the blue diamond ankled foot and a blue-indigo stilhetto on the red diamond ankled foot. Harley has fresh, lighter colored battle scars covering her hands, arm, torso, splitting her eyebrow, and grazing across the side of her shaved head. (And subtle stretch marks between her thighs) And she has older darker battle scars out from her bottom lip, across her shoulder, torso, legs, and stomach: including some that seem to spell out "Ha Ha" but is partially obscured by the coat. These days I have seen the Netflix series Young Royals and I think I have not seen something so much Klance in a long time. I loved it and I hope to see the second season soon! In the meantime, here’s a little redraw of the poster with my favorite boys. ❤️

AHH I’ve been meaning to work on these two story for hella long :’^),, but the basic concept is that one is a immortal that can see ghosts so she spends her life trying to help them pass on, and the other is a ghost who has no clue how she died.

I had the chance to be among amazing artists that Milano PrideandMana Project Studio contacted to make a series of pictures tribute to lgbtqia important characters who have stepped on this earth. So I took the occasion to draw one of my favourite music artists, Chavela Vargas!
“Chavela Vargas is proof of how beautiful contradictions are and how senseless it is to call them that. Costa Rican, in the 60s she asserts herself in a male oriented musical genre (the ranchero music). Her only religion: life. She wears a red poncho, she smokes, she drinks, she shoots with a gun and she loves women. In her list of lovers Frida Kahlo and Ava Gardner. So to sum it up: this atheist costarican butch lesbian and alcoholic is one of the most interesting and sensitive human beings who have walked, screamed and struggled her way on this earth and she is now without a doubt the symbol, the heart, of a very manly music genre, in a foreign land (Mexico) which is also a traditionalist, machista and catholic country. Que guapa!”

Decided that I need to make at least something for this Pride Month, and since I have lot of LGBT+ ocs….anyway. Drawing multiple oc portraits at once always results in some not coming out that well ugh. Well I tried.
Hope I got the flags right, there’s so many and I’m not familiar with all of them OTL Also the comments included for the characters are kinda random.
I actually have another set I could make a second rainbow out of, although IDK if I have enough redesigns ready to fill all seven spots..?
More info of each character below:
Konjou:Antagonist/neutral, Belladonna’s estranged son, summons vines from his body as his primary weaponry. Boyfriend named Jinchou
Ayame:Hero side character, Snow-woman who’s basically the honorary mother figure of the family she’s a guardian of. Currently single (potential GF pending)
Yaguro:Antihero/minor antagonist, corrupted moth-spirit (I.E, more powerful and violent type) has personal vendetta against Belladonna due to BG story reasons. Yume’s companion & love interest.
Belladonna:One of the main villains, A forest witch who made some terrible choices with her parenting due to pride, girlfriend Amalia Marek
Yume:Antihero/neutral side character, A shadow witch who was tasked by her great grandma’s spirit to stop Belladonna’s antics. Yaguro is her companion and love-interest. She also often has innocent fan-crushes on other women
Yuushi: Important side character, A “Death Vestige” (kind of a soul-reaper) which is basically just a hive mind creating a mortal body to fulfill a mission. Outward appearance of the vessel depends on the person they are searching for, in this incarnation, the vessel “Yuushi” is biologically male, but the hive-mind itself doesn’t have one, and changes how the vessel appears each mission. Love interest Jurou. (Jurou chose the bows to him, trying to pick something that’d be closest fit)
Yoruga: Minor antagonist, A normal moth-spirit, often acts childish and like he’s some funny weirdo, in truth he’s quite intelligent and really skilled with sharp pointy things. No romantic interest, but close platonic bond with his best friend Kiyoi, and Kiyoi’s BF Kouya.
