Imagine dating Tom and him taking care of you while you’re on your period. (Pt.2)
The routine :
Your boyfriend of 2 years, Tom Holland, had just gotten home after finishing up Chaos Walking and usually you been be over the moon but you’ve been feeling off over the past couple of days due to your period.
You were currently lying on the couch reading one of your favourite books when you feel Tom lay between your legs and put his head of your tummy causing you flinch slightly at the contact.
“You alright darlin’?”, Tom asks sweetly. “Yeah I’m fine”, you answer rather bluntly instantly feeling bad because you know it’s your mood swings taking over. But Tom didn’t really take notice and just adjusted himself before falling asleep on you.
Your eye flutter open when you feel Tom shifting around. You notice that you’re no longer on the couch but in your bed. You must have fallen asleep on couch and Tom took it upon himself to bring you to bed.
“Morning sleepy head”, Tom says noticing you’re awake, “I went out and got some stuff for you while you were asleep.” “Stuff.. what stuff?”, you ask abit confused by what he meant.
“Look, just cause I’m not around all the time, doesn’t mean I don’t notice things or that I forget things. I noticed how you’ve been acting off the past couple of days and I figured it must have been your period. Either that or you’re just not that happy to see me”, he joked. You laughed but the movement caused your tummy to ache again.
“Here”, Tom said handing you a hot water bottle with a fluffy pink cover over it, “I thought you might need this.” “Thank you”, you smile slightly. “I also got some chocolate, ice cream and just basically junk. Oh! I also found this!”, he said jumping out of bed to get something out of the packet. “Look!”, he said holding up a mini Spiderman costume, “I saw this and instantly pictured Tessa in it. I’ll being her around later snd we can try this on her.” You laughed at his foolishness wondering how you managed to deserve this gem of a boyfriend.
“What? Do I have something on my face?”, he asked noticing that you’ve been staring at him. “Nope, just admiring you and wondering what I did to deserve a wonderful boyfriend like you”, you say honestly. “Aw stop, you’re making me blush”, he says holding his cheeks.
“Anything for you love”, he says on a more serious note. “Anything?”, you raise your eyebrow at his previous statement. “Anything”, he smiles proudly. “Cuddles?”, you say as you hold your arms out in the air knowing he can’t resist. “Of course princess”, he climbs in bed and adjust himself so that he facing you with his arm around your waist.
He takes his free hand and nuzzles it in your hair and he massaged your head and occasionally places soft kisses on your forehead as you sleep.

The first time:
You woke up this morning to be greeted by bloody sheets and unbearable back and tummy aches. You groan and get out of bed to get yourself and your sheets cleaned.
You couldn’t decide on what to eat for breakfast as everything just made you wanna throw up so you opted for hot chocolate to ease your chocolate cravings.
You just put on an episode of Friends, your phone lit up with your boyfriend’s picture on the screen. “Hey darlin’, how are you?”, he answered happily. “Hey love, I’m good”, you lied as you were suffering with horrible period cramps. “So I was wondering”, he continued, “do you maybe wanna hang out today? I was thinking we take Tessa for walk and go get some lunch”, he suggested.
As much as you wanted to see your boyfriend and his adorable dog, you’d much rather stay home. You weren’t the ‘going out while on your period’ type. You were more of a ‘stay at home and curl up in a ball whilst eating chocolate’ type. But Tom didn’t know that, you two had just started dating a couple weeks ago and this was the first time you had your period whilst dating him and you weren’t quite sure how to tell him about it.
“Erm, I don’t think I’m up for it Tom”, you said hoping he wouldn’t be upset about it. “Uh, okay… Is everything okay?”, he asked quite concerned. “Yeah, no. Everything’s fine. I’m just feeling abit under the weather I guess”, you said instantly feeling bad about making excuses. “Do you want me to bring you anything? Like do you need anything?”, he asked genuinely concerned. “No, I’m fine, thank you. I’m just gonna hang out here for today. I’ll see you tomorrow okay?”, you said hopefully. “Yeah totally, just call me if you need anything”, he said unintentionally making you feel bad. “I will, thank you Tom”, you said as you hung up.
You don’t remember how you fell asleep on you couch but you did and you were woken up by someone knocking on your door. You groan in pain as you lift yourself of the couch and make you way to the door.
You open it to reveal none other than Tom standing at your door with a bunch of different bags in his hands.
“Hi!”, he said with a huge grin, “ I know you said you were feeling under the weather and you didn’t wanna do anything today so I brought the fun to you”, he said. You smiled at his goofiness and stepped aside to let him in.
“I bought McDonald’s, I know that’s your favourite. I also got some ice cream, cookies and cream flavour and peanut butter flavour and I brought some movies”, he smiled at you.
You didn’t know how to respond to this kind gesture so you just walked up to him and hugged him for a long and as tight and you could. “What was that for?”, he smiled while still holding you around your waist. “For being the best boyfriend a girl could ask for”, you smiled as you went up on your tippy toes and placed a peck on his lips. “Well, what kind of a boyfriend would I be if I let my girlfriend sit at home by herself when she wasn’t feeling well?”, he smiled and kissed your cheek.
You decided you felt comfortable enough to tell him what was really going on. “Well, you see. The truth is that I actually have my period with is why I didn’t wanna go out today”, you confessed. “Oh, I see. Why didn’t you tell me this earlier love?”, he asked. “I just didn’t feel comfortable telling you about you cause it’s kind of embarrassing. I know it sounds stupid but I didn’t know how to tell you when even I don’t feel comfortable around myself when I have it.”
“Darlin’, it doesn’t sound stupid. I totally understand. I know I would hate it if I had gotten my period”, he joked.
The both of you spent the rest of the day under the blanket, eating all the goodies Tom had bought and watching movies.
You eventually fell asleep cuddled up against Tom whilst he massaged your back to ease you of your pain.

Ok, so far I think this is wildly underrated in all things old school Marvel.
“Marvel Superheroes: Secret Wars”
This surrounds a variety of superheroes, and a variety of supervillains, being abducted from earth and transported to a newly terraformed planet seemingly made up of various other planets.
Pitched against each other by an unknown entity it’s a clash of titans. Comparably the older comics are a bit, well, obtuse. But the concept here is awesome and even back then they killed it with this one.
Still trying to finish it but always reading and buying new books so sometimes things move to the back burner for a little bit.
