Hey. I made this blog not too long ago thinking maybe a *few* people would enjoy my pics, but here we are, a little bit later with 4000 followers, quite a lot! I’ll probably have new pics to share (a bunch) over the next few weeks so stay tuned :)

Parents can be stupid sometimes

I love when people say “just talk with your parents about your mental illness, they’ll understand and they’ll be able to help you!”. 

Yesterday, I mentioned that one of my friends might be having a depression. You know what they said? “Oh, God, don’t you dare doing that to us too!” THAT was my mom’s reaction. And my stepfather just nodded and added “Please, we already have enough troubles!”

So I don’t know why, but no, I’m not really looking forward to have that conversation with them… 

This might sound stupid to y’all but I’m actually so proud of myself right now. I don’t often stick with things when I start them and especially if the people around me think that it’s dumb but I’ve made it thirty days straight of practicing French and I’m just really proud of myself okay I don’t often let myself be proud of my accomplishments and I usually try to diminish them with self deprecating humor because I always think that if I’m my harshest critic nothing can hurt me and that the things I like to do and like in general are stupid but I’m trying really hard to not do that and to be proud of myself which is something I’ve always struggled with. But this is going to be the year of building self-esteem and confidence even if I have to do it alone so yeah, here’s to thirty days
