LIVE

Knowing your north node is also important for spiritual health because it’s the energy your soul is being guided to learn and become. So I’m going to write my short descriptions for each north nodes.

Someone with Aries north node will feel like they must always think about and do things for others before they can focus on their own self. They spend this life learning to overcome feeling guilty when they focus on personal growth and practicing self love.

A Taurus north node will need to be more in-tuned with their outer world. To experience the world in all it’s sensuality and beauty. Instead of focusing on control and power, they must relax and find solidarity and happiness in where they are now. Happiness here comes when they can relax and smell the flowers.

Gemini north node will need to find their inner truths rather than rely on other people’s truths. They must focus on who they are as a person and understand that it’s not up to other people to tell them who they are.

Cancer north node will need to protect and care for others in an emotional way rather than imposing rules and showering loved ones with material things.

Leo north node will learn to pursue self expression authentically for who they truly are instead of trying to impress other people with their energy.

Virgo north node is trying to learn to practice seeing details and being practical in their actions. Being self aware is important where as daydreaming hinders their  goals.

Libra north node will need to learn balance and being fair with other people’s needs. They need to think of others when making a group/partnership decision.

Scorpio north node will need to learn being attuned with their darker aspects in their personality rather than just drowning these out with sensual pleasures. They need to practice self mastery of the soul.

Sagittarius north node must learn to break out of their inner being and explore the world at large. Find the truths of the world. Learning from others becomes essential.

Capricorn north node needs to learn to practice self reliance in a practical way. They feel they must become disciplined in some way and take up a leadership a position in their life. They learn to grow themselves inside of other people.

Aquarius north node will need to learn to focus helping others as a collective. To break away from group mentality and become more open to different perspectives.

Pisces north node needs to open up to the spiritual realm and focus on the emotional connection rather than decisions based on details. Being accepting of the energies they read and tapping into the human consciousness is important here.

venus conjunct north node

-this aspect hints towards a life path/fate/mission/destiny involving or influenced by beauty and love; however, because the north node represents aspects of this life that we need to learn and that is new to us, people with this aspect may struggle with some of the things that venus represents as these things may not come naturally to them

-the north node in a natal chart is an indicator of ones life purpose and where/how a persons soul wants/needs to grow/develop in this life [in contrast, the south node suggests what we learned in a past life and what we already know in this one or already do well] therefore the north node shows what we need to learn in this life, and learning is often challenging

-as venus is the planet of beauty and love, this planet conjunct the north node suggests that beauty and love will be two central themes/areas that will have significant impact on the life of the person with this aspect in their natal chart

-people with this aspect have a tendency to be charismatic, attractive, charming, popular, stylish etc and also tend to have good taste and possible creative abilities due to venus’ influence

-harmony in life is often very important to those with this aspect, they appreciate beauty and want to see it as much as possible within every area of their life [which is why they may also be gifted with creative/artistic abilities too] and because of this they can usually connect with others easily and handle themselves very well in social situations, which in turn can allow them to succeed in their careers through benefiting through connections with others [think successful business partnerships, networking etc]

-these people tend to be very charming, charismatic and captivating; at times it may seem like people are just naturally drawn to them. however, there is a risk that at times they may use their charm for their own gain and can deceive others easily

-people with this aspect may find that their partner may be powerful or provide them with resources/tools for success or social gain

-often, people with this aspect may notice/feel that their purpose in life is to bring beauty into the world; in some cases, people with this aspect may be particularly beautiful and utilise this, or they may bring beauty into the lives of others in different ways [look to the venus sign and house of this aspect to learn more] such as providing services that provide beauty to others [interior design, artist, stylist etc]

-this aspect usually encourages those with it in their natal chart to discover what beauty is to them and what it means for them; not only what they find beautiful in life but how to bring more of that into the world, into their life and into the lives of others… it’s often about them needing to learn what love means to them, what love is for them and how they can show/share/express love in this lifetime - remember that love and beauty are different things for each person so discovering what this is will likely be vital and a potential key point for people with this aspect; once they understand what it means to them and how they can create more of this in their lives and the lives of others, they may gain a sense of purpose and fulfilment in life

jupiter conjunct north node

-this aspect is often considered a fortunate aspect/position

-because jupiter is the planet of expansion, opportunity and abundance, whereas the north node represents our cosmic destiny and true calling in this life, this aspect can provide an increased sense of purpose for those with it in their natal chart

-people with this aspect may feel like they have a lot to accomplish in this life or may have a more definite sense of what it is they are here on earth to do [however, sometimes this feeling comes to people at a later stage in their life, so don’t stress if you do not feel like you have this understanding yet if you have this aspect]

-it is usually beneficial for people with this aspect to look at which house this aspect takes place in; the themes of this house will point to the area of life the person should strive to align with or work towards improving in order to succeed; if a person takes notice of this, jupiter will usually provide extra energy/abundance/opportunity for this to become a success

-as this aspect is generally seen as a positive aspect to have, it can be a sign that a person with it in their chart may find good fortune later on in their life; in particular, it is common for people with this aspect to find that the second half of their lives are more successful or abundant

-while this aspect can be very optimistic and provide one with a lot of success or abundance, it can also hint at potential over-optimism/over-enthusiasm or things being taken for granted [the house jupiter is in in the natal chart may indicate what this may be] so it is important that people with this aspect do not become overly materialistic, over indulgent or excessive etc and also that they do not simply rely on their past successes or good fortune

-at times, there is a risk that people with this aspect can become/act/seem greedy or selfish; although due to the good nature of this aspect, these traits will likely not have too much of a negative impact on the person themselves [as jupiter represents luck] although this can therefore enable the person to keep acting this way which may be more detrimental for the people around them than the person themselves

-because the nodes represent karma [the north node pointing to karmic destiny, future, and with jupiter; karmic luck etc] people with this aspect will likely experience/achieve even more luck/abundance/success etc if they are generous and positive rather than expectant, overindulgent, selfish etc

-people with this aspect tend to be confident; for many, their potential awareness of their luck or ability to succeed [or simply their mindset that they will succeed] brings them a sense of self-assurance and confidence in their abilities/skills/plans

-there is a risk that people with this aspect may have unrealistic expectations; these may stem from the success of past situations that have led them to believe everything will work out or that they are destined for the best all the time or they may have very high expectations due to their potential confident/self assured personality. while many people with this aspect do definitely have the potential to succeed, it is important that they are always grateful for everything they have/obtain and do not get carried away with super high expectations of life that may leave them feeling frequently unsatisfied when things don’t match up because of their unrealistic views

Recently I got  really disappointed with the interpretation of natal chart for my querent - I kept struggling entire Sunday but still it looked like a mixture of  personal traits and common places, there was no vibration of soul to it —

till the moment I was drawn to investigate North and South Nodes,

and wow, I was near to cry as the messages were so profound, resonating with the struggle my querent was going through, suddenly all the pieces of the birth chart created the pattern and I knew this was she.

North and South Nodes are the vein of the soul in your natal chart. Soul path, your inner dragon, they say.

Basically it’s the points where Sun and Moon orbit paths around the Earth intersect, forming profound energetic relationships (same way with Ascendant \ Descendant, Midhaven \ Imum Coeli).

Nodes have special names: North Node - Caput Draconis, dragon’s head and South Node - Cauda Draconis, dragon’s tail. Showing they are opposite and still - wholeness.

When is it a time to dive deep into the messages of the Nodes in your natal chart?

  • you’re in spirituality and metaphysics
  • you’re tuned into your Higher Self or open to that
  • you look at your natal chart interpretation and realize that you can’t relate to that or you’ve already integrated a lot of that
  • certain people, situations, challenges continue to come into your life as if repeated melody
  • you’re more or less aware that there are certain behavior patterns which hold you back or push forward

Too deep but go for it…

The Nodes are your inner dragon, bringing you face to face with your limits and — opening to the realization of big soul journey - where do you come from? where do you go?

Nodes are usually viewed as opposition - personal traits you already have (South Node) and what you need to integrate in your journey (North Node).

But there are so much more to Nodes and how you can start exploring their messages:

- you can read South Node - North Node as your main theme, what you’re here to explore, what special lessons to learn or to rephrase - what karma to release

- what path will make you truly you, truly happy and fulfilled no matter how hard and impossible it might seem

- your calling, mission

- what are your gifts and inner knowledge you already have (South Node) and what you’re going to integrate by overcoming your limitations and letting go (North Node)

- what are your deepest wounds and pains you’re going to heal in your journey

- South Node as your unacknowledged self, dark side reflected in people and situations brought in front of you so you can start facing that aspects of own self

- South Node as a path of less resistance, North Node - harder but worth to try path

Check your Nodes tonight and nice journey back.

North Node in the houses

ʚɞCalculate your North Node here.

North Node in 1st: Here the native is on a road to creating and finding themselves. It is quite common that throughout the person’s life that they will be judged for who they are & may received not asked opinions from others. They may feel headless at some point because they may not know who they are at a point in their lives, they’ll try everything to find themselves & experimenting but may have trouble sticking to something. Though this gives them the gift of being quite experimental and open to whatever comes across their path. They are not the type to judge others for being themselves as they deeply value originality. Opposing the 7th house they may attract jealousy often especially because of something about themselves it could be their talent or something in their physical body that stands out and makes open enemies jealous, usually there is something about the native that sticks out since the beginning of their life if not they find something they love and cherish may attract jealousy and criticism because of it. People with this placement are commonly successful since a young age they may have had to grow up and become more independent and to choose themselves over others because they can easily get addicted to relationships & validations that would be their downfall. They need to let go of validation from external sources but themselves & to not be so critical on themselves. These natives have the natural ability to be charming & can navigate well with people and can have luck on their side on getting out of things.

North Node in 2nd: These people have a very good talents of being resourceful. These are the type of people who pride themselves on being unbothered as they would work on achieving things & working on themselves and their habits. Opposing the 8th house old traits & things to let go of do not come so easy for the native. They may have to let go of troubles with intimacy & the native tends to have hard time trusting others because they may also have a hard time trusting themselves. They need to learn that they have themselves because they can easily go into periods of times where they are in despair and do not ask for help or guidance. They have big chances this lifetime of being quite wealthy because of their abilities of being so resourceful and hardworking when manifested well. If they want something they can get it they just have to believe in themselves. Some of these natives hop around jobs & income sources for a while until they find the source that fits them to dedicate themselves too. They can be quite guarded and maybe even closed off individuals because they may be afraid of getting hurt or being taken advantage of with what they have obtained. Transformation follows them throughout this lifetime events that may shake them up a bit but they will rise again. They may be able to make work out of their trauma. In a negative note, they may work for the case needed to survive and etc. Natives have a natural alluring aura that others can’t help but notice and be drawn to it. It’s ideal that they protect their energy.

North Node in 3rd: The natives with this placement are incredibly objectively intelligent and knowledgable. It’s not surprising if a lot of astrology enthusiasts / astrologers have this placement as they seek for knowledge and things that stimulates their mind almost daily. The native may have to work on focusing on tasks more efficiently as they may easily get distracted with other things along their path. The native has the immense potential to develop being a great communicator / immense communication skills this lifetime. Others may be drawn to their words & sayings and may even get inspired by their words. Their words are their power and may be interested in stuff like reading and etc. May have a karmic lesson with siblings & may be important this lifetime. You may be always seeking for the truth but sometimes they may not bring you peace but anxiety let go of things and answers you don’t have control over.. because you always want to figure out things which is a blessing but can backfire your mental health. The native will hop around with interests and activities until they find one that suits them completely. You need to let go of being secretly a bit stubborn with your belief system you may think you’re always right because of your knowledge. Native is very persuasive.

North Node in 4th: The natives with this placement are very private individuals especially when it’s regarding about their own path. They are the type to keep their goals hidden until it’s achieved because they know how others may try to send them bad energy because of it. They may be exposed to the public light at some point in their lives but they are not always the most comfortable with it. The native may have a tendency to deal with their emotions in a unhealthy way usually specifically they may surpress them and ignore them because of the opposition to the 10th house. The native is blessed with natural feelings of being able to feel things correctly with their intuition they just have to grow the confidence with it and with this they may even help others with these gifts. The mother could have impacted them usually more in a positive note & the mother or a feminine figure could’ve helped them on their path with their wisdom. They may have some family members that are quite known. The natives this lifetime focus on the root of themselves. The foundation of their emotions & their way of love which is why they strongly benefit from self-care. Because of this they are very selective with their emotional friend groups. The native this lifetime becomes more aware of their subconscious patterns and may become more connected to their heritage & have a special bond with their grandparents and they could have guided them. Overall this is a very good placement objectively.

North Node in 5th: The natives with this placement are filled with bundles of joy & love inside of them. They know how it feels to feel left out or not treated the way they should be treated so they go out of their way to make others feel loved and supported as they subconsciously seek love and support as well. Opposing the 11th house the native may find themselves having karmic lessons with friendships & friends that could not be so trustworthy to the native it could be a bad pattern to go back to where they used to feel as if they fitted in even if it’s not good for them in the long run. This lifetime is to let themselves destress & have some fun for the sake of their health as they can be someone who puts a lot of effort in the higher good but may forget to let themselves have a little bit of fun and be a bit reckless as well. The native will find themselves being drawn to creative pursuits this lifetime as well as entertainment pursuits. Being creative is something that will come usually easily to the native or at least something prominent in their life. You see this placement in artists or entertainers or something creative and talented. The natives are blessed with obvious imaginative creative skills. The native is also extremely attractive and beautiful to others. Casual sex may also be a theme of their life. The native will also get the taste of romance this lifetime they may find themselves in love situations often this could come in the forms of friendships. They may experiment with love situations. They should let go off patterns of just only believing in faith instead of actively working towards their goal they may also hide what they called “weirdness” because they may wanna feel validated often.

North Node in 6th: Here the native has a talent of being logical and detail oriented. Since the native may have the gift of seeing beneath the bigger picture effortlessly, they may get carried away with small details and may have a hard time loosing control over things they don’t have control over as they may need a sense of control in their life in order to feel good. The native is easily respected and may love to help others with their best efforts but this can make them easily drained as it opposes the 12th house. The native is extremely vulnerable to energy unless well protected as they love to give and give. They are truly a selfless soul. The native may have the tendency to be a bit hard on themselves so they learn this life-time about self improvement instead of just seeing themselves as a “failure” or “worthless” as they can easily fall into a prisioned mindest. The native may be the type to be into diets & work out routines or at least idealize it but may have a hard time completely committing themselves to something. The native may have spiritual and intuitive gifts that can be carried from a past life and they will have it with them to aid them but they may have the tendency to not use their intuitive & spiritual gifts to it’s best maximized potential. The native may have tendencies to retreat from the world when they completely loose control over things. You’re quite the healer and you can heal others and yourself. Make sure to remember to nurture and care of your body and it’s nutrition and health. Since you’re so mystically selfless you may not know when to stop or give yourself a break. People tend to love your energy.

North Node in 7th: In this life-time the native’s focus is regarding their relationships with individuals and others. They may encounter connections that may test them but ultimately helps them ascend. The native is gifted individualism and independence from a past life but this can also come in the hands of being a little too detached because of this they learn this life-time to try to let others in even if it’s slowly. They may have not had a lot of people or friends in their past- life time so it’s a theme in this life-time. They value people who support them and don’t have time to play games. They may find themselves meeting all types of people & committed romantic relationship(s) are often found with this placement and the native is gifted with a higher chance of having a great marriage and relationship ultimately because of their shifting to commitment with others. However since they will try to achieve putting themselves out there this lifetime they may experienced open enemies and jealousy from others and this may effect them effectively. The native will work on being more open this life-time but they will never forget that they only got themselves in the end of the day. In some cases the native may strongly desire marriage and union with someone or/and being a lawyer. The individual may easily get extremely liked by others with their natural charm to handle conflict. They are quite peaceful but if they start something they’ll finish it.

North Node in 8th: In this lifetime the native may be guided onto a spiritual occult path. The native may find themselves naturally drawn to darker subjects maybe even tabboo subjects. From my research, a lot of witches / tarot readers / certified psychics have this placement & even great astrologers because of their way of being able to see things so intensely and beneath the surface. The native however may go through aching transformative experiences throughout life which can constantly regenerate who they are as a person and their beliefs which can make them a completely different person of who they were years ago. The native is blessed with the power of healing, they can heal others through pain and love but may struggle a bit with completely healing themselves and they could avoid the shadow work to do so. The native will be presented with important life- decisions constantly in life. The themes of death could be present in their life (it could mean literal death as it has a different approach in other cultures but also means new fresh starts as mentioned). The native will be gifted naturally of the power of being self-reliant and at some cases wealthy as it opposes the 2nd house. The native will find themselves in deep connections with others and themselves. The native life may have some themes of bonding-sex later on in life. The native has a way of captivating people with their attraction however this can cause some unwanted attention. The native may spends time being insecure of themselves and hiding themselves but then they unleash their talents onto the open and may even make money of their path and talents, I could go on about this placements for so long as it has so much to express.

North Node in 9th: The native this life-time will have a theme of finding the higher purpose to things the ultimate answer and truth seeker. The native can be quite the spiritual being and could be into things like meditation as for their routine. Since they’re so filled with wisdom at some point in their lives they may use it as a way to guide others and others will look up to them as someone respectable and worthy and praiseable. The native however may need to let go of the idea of always using logic to things as it opposes the 3rd house and let themselves feel completely free as their mind may have a hard time completely shutting off. The native may carry toxic mindsets from a past- life that are rather extremely pessimistic and harsh so they in this life-time work on a more realistic but optimistic approach to things especially regarding their mind and it’s thoughts. The native may be interested in travel and travel could be a big part of their life especially useful for their path they could get opportunities regarding travel however it could involve some sacrifice of leaving things behind for the greatest good. The native’s life-path may have quite the longevity. Teachers and gurus may inspire the native or they could become one themselves. They could want to publish their work or spiritual gifts to the public, they could even write books. The native however may have the tendencies of being quite scattered with their thoughts and organization and should work on details and organizing things. The native is blessed with great luck and fortune and abundance if the native believes in themselves. The native may be connected to their spirit guides and they will bring great guidance. While you may guide others make sure you take care of yourself first.

North Node in 10th: This placement gives the native a hard-working demeanor and ambitious traits. In a past life-time the native may have worked on their emotional interior and their roots which gives them natural intuitive gifts and an emotional nature but they may not utilize it to it’s best ability which could make them struggle with these areas later on due to it’s opposition to the 4th house. They may struggle listening to their natural gut instincts and would rather approach things in a logical manner strictly. The native will be blessed this life-time with incredible drive and learning towards being successful regarding their career-life. They may reach an extremely well reputable career. The native is extremely mature even since a young age among their peers which could make them come across as cold or too unbothered. They may have a guiding father figure or a masculine figure who helps them on their path. The native may seek recognition or they may at least find themselves getting it easily which could make them prone to rumors and gossip and people jealous of their achievements and reputation however they’re strong enough to face this. The native may become a great authority figure in life and could make others work for them or follow them easily. However, the native is still quite private about themselves even if they are on pubic display or well-known they would only reveal what it is needed to reveal so getting to know them is quite different than who they presented themselves to be which doesn’t have to be a bad thing. The native has a great attachment to their family but would learn to be more independent this life-time. They love in a heavenly way but would rather protect themselves than give it out so much. Don’t invade their privacy at any cost and this could be something that could interfere with them within their career is curious people about who they truly are.

North Node in 11th: The native this life-time will focus on building a community and helping others. These people are usually very well liked among their peers and could have the chance to even be “popular”. However as it opposes the 5th house the native may have tendencies to want constant validation from others and loose themselves in the process. The native has natural charisma and creative talents that they could use to their advantage. They could have good opportunities on the internet and clubs. They could put out their talents on the internet especially to help others. The native however may have the tendency to want attention or have a bit of an ego that is hard to crash. The native has an extremely kind nature which others may try to use so it’s important that they establish strict boundaries for themselves. The native this life-time will try to and has great ability to spread awareness on important manners. It takes time for these natives to find true friends until later on in life and they could even feel isolated at some point in their lives even if as mentioned before they could be “popular” they still may feel isolated inside. The native may use romance and love in a way to feel validated. The native will constantly put out love to the world hoping that they receive it back they may even develop a “no one will love me like I love” mentality. The native wants to serve a higher basis on the world they didn’t come to this universe for nothing. They have great ideas to accomplish their goals and they most likely will they just have to work on the consistency of working up to their goals as they could have the tendencies to just wanna relax and have fun often. The native later on in life develops a great origin that they were trying to find earlier on in life instead of trying to fit in which could ultimately attract copy-cats and people who are lost themselves. They would be extremely loved especially later on in- life.

North Node in 12th: The native is quite a complex individual and this is not a bad thing but I can go on about this individual and their magical talents. The native is too self-sacrificing and it could come to the points they are niceto individuals who wronged them or are their secret enemies and their independence and boundaries are something they work on this life-time to say “No, I do not accept this and I do not have time to always help you.” This placement is common with extreme intuitives and tarot readers though they may be insecure of their gift until later on in life they start exploring it more. The native may have the tendency to be quite hard on themselves as it opposites the 6th house of Virgo. The native has a great imagination and can even get lost in themselves quite easily especially through things regarding music and they may resort to escapism when things get tough especially. The native is blessed with being a hard-worker however this comes with a price they may be the type of people to develop a low-self mindset if something doesn’t go as perfect as they imagine as they may have idealistic expectations. The native may have hard time sticking to something in their life path and finding pure joy on it as their path could be blurred at some points, so advice is when you find something that you love don’t be hard on yourself and stick to it. They can easily make their desires and dreams come to life and in the dream world they could get hints of their future path. In this life-time they are constantly working through self-improvement which would make the figures in their life proud of them. It’s possible they have gone through quite a lot and they may express this throughout their career. They will heal others with their intuition or/and their gifts however they may have an extremely hard time with this themselves. One thing I’ve noticed about this placement is that jealous people want them to be quiet and once they start succeeding in what they love people want them to stop and this is because they attract extremely jealousy with what they do but these people may not reveal themselves until later on it’s the people you least expect at times. The native has spirit guides that will constantly give them signs of re-direction of their path so watch out for angel numbers and stuff like that or simply ask signs that you are on the right path to your spirit guides! Never miss out on any sign you see and trust your gut. Make sure you never hide any part of yourself in the fear of being judged or excluded. I truly love these people for being so self-less and giving make sure to drink water and stay healthy and never neglect yourself. The native has talents of connecting to the divine perfectly. Since this is the 12th house we are talking about this life-time is very important you could achieve something that could be very essential in the next life-time if there is one. The native is a great worker and this could be great for career and money matters so they may be surprised when they can actually take a break and relax, as they could be a very nervous person.

ʚɞNorth Node Aspecting Uranus- Native will follow an unexpected path a bit similar to black moon Lilith. Native has a innovative nature. Common in enginneers and people interested in computers. They could be seen as rebellious. Their life path may constantly change so they should work on grounding themselves. Native is also very intuitive.

ʚɞNorth Node Aspecting Neptune- Native may have a hard time figuring out their path. Native is prone to idealizing things easily. If negatively aspected they may not believe in themselves enough. Native will be blessed with spiritual gifts to aid them. You could be good at poetry or arts or anything that lets you use your imagination greatly.

ʚɞThis is extra but if Juno positively aspects the North Node the native could have a greater luck finding themselves a long-term healthy future spouse and could impact them greatly.

MARISKA HARGITAY’S BIRTH CHART

*looking at this iconic queen’s birth chart because I feel like it. do not plagiarize my writing or repost on any other forms of social media under any circumstances.*

Mariska is an Aquarius Sun, Taurus Moon, and Capricorn Rising. As I’ve indicated in previous posts, Liz Greene emphasizes the significance of cultivating your rising traits in order to live your life in the most authentic manner (sun). Mariska has had to embrace ambitious, respectful, and disciplined energy (Capricorn) in order to effectively embody her Aquarius sun attributes, such as being an innovator, rebel, and humanitarian. Since she has been acting for decades, the public can witness this energy at work.

Her role as detective Olivia Benson inspired her to start the Joyful Heart Foundation, which provides assistance to sexually abused women. This is a fantastic example of how Saturn rewards effort in such diverse ways when viewed from the perspective of Aquarius vs Capricorn. In this instance, her hard work and dedication earned her financial reward and also national praise and awards (Capricorn), but it also enabled her to connect, inspire, and mobilize the collective as she tries to relieve the suffering and maintain the dignity of those in need (aqua). I’m sure both aspects/sides of these rewards are emotionally fulfilling.

Since she is a Capricorn Rising, her chart ruler is her Aquarius Saturn at 22 degrees (Capricorn) in the 1st house. Since her chart ruler is in the first house, her actions and manifestations are oriented around herself, her perceptions of her identity, and how she views the world. The 22nd degree in the 1st house rules our early environment. Undeniably, she has received a great deal of attention from the public ever since she was a young child. Her early experiences have, if anything, shaped her into the person she is today. As cliché as it may sound, her chart ruler in the first house indicates that her mission in this life was to just be herself and be able to respond to the stimuli and responses of others around her.

Aqua at 22 degrees in Janduz’s interpretation of the 360 symbolic degrees symbolizes “A diligent, attentive, and observant personality. Teamwork is more beneficial than individual effort, and mutual assistance is a significant advantage.” The 22nd degree is sometimes referred to as the “kill or be killed” degree. And at just 3 years old, Mariska was fortunate to survive a car accident that ripped the entire roof off the car and killed all the adults inside. However, I do not believe we should fear-monger when it comes to this degree. This degree had unique value for Nikola Stojanovic, and while it is not in the lightest sense, it is still powerful. Mariska has had to overcome difficulty in many other aspects of her life, neither surrendering to it or allowing it to beat her, slaying her anxieties and worries. Death is a concept that extends beyond the physical realm. Death is a transformation. And you may go through transformations dozens of times over your lifetime. Only to return and re-invent yourself as something new. If you have the 22nd degree then you have the ability to continually reimagine who you are.

Our moon sign indicates how we self-soothe or how we require our comforts to be addressed. It can also represent the emotional energy we must exude in order to feel secure and stable enough to be productive. Mariska has a Taurus Moon at 20 degrees (a Scorpio degree) in the 4th house. Taurus moons require a great deal of sensory stimulation. They value consistency and might be creatures of habit when it comes to the things that make them happy or comfortable, whether it’s a favorite blanket or food. Her moon in the 4th house emphasizes the importance of having a sanctuary, and she may treasure her privacy in the way she has designed and set up her home and room. Beyond these sensory sensations and indulgences of the Taurus Moon, the Scorpio degree adds extra intensity and a demand for solitude to the equation. Her self-care would necessitate a secure environment to process and release these intense emotions. Additionally, it must be done in a manner that respects her privacy and tranquility.

However, when it comes to intense Plutonian and Martian energy, Mariska is no stranger to dealing with that. Like I stated, Mariska’s mother, Jayne Mansfield, an American actress, was in a car accident that instantly killed her, her boyfriend, and the driver. Mariska also has a Jupiter in Aries in the 3rd house. Asleep in the back of the vehicle, Mariska, then three-and-a-half years old, was left with a zigzag scar (Aries) on one side of her head. Her brothers (3h) also escaped (Jupiter) with minor injuries. It was a miracle they made it out alive. They got lucky. In addition, Mariska’s Taurus moon (the mother) is trine her Virgo Pluto (transformation) in the 8th house (death). She has a 4h moon opposite a 10h Neptune placement. And she’s stated that it always bothered and confused (Neptune) her growing up how she’s always been compared to her mom (moon), especially in regards to her career (10h). I bet that at one point in time, this had left Mariska incredibly confused about her identity, roots, and values (4h) and how exactly she was supposed to present herself (10h Neptune).

But anyway, back to her pluto energy! In an interview, Mariska stated, “I think I learned about crisis very young, and I learned very young that shit happens, and there are no guarantees, and we keep going. And that then we transform it. That’s my superpower.” WHEW. She literally said she transforms it in true Plutonian nature. And without a doubt, she meant every word. She has Uranus-Pluto conjunction in the 8th house, so all her life, she’s has to deal with very sudden and unexpected situations (Uranus) that have entirely flipped her life upside down and acted as catalysts for intense transformation (pluto), especially in regards to the way she merges with others and views the darker aspects of the human psyche. Mariska also has a Scorpio MC, pluto opposite Chiron, pluto trine ascendant, pluto sextile north node, mercury trine pluto, and venus opposite pluto.

I feel this is also why she was such an incredible actress on Law and Order. Every episode consists of violent and horrific crimes for which the audience must accept that victims do not always receive the justice they deserve. And where one must admit that there are horrible, brutal, and cruel people in the world who have no regard for human life. Mariska was nonetheless… (I don’t want to say “strong enough” since I’m not too fond of the statement that those with Pluto placements can endure pain without feeling it, which is not true). She was, however, familiar with this sensation of loss, complex emotions, and critical analysis. It had been something she has had to grapple with her whole life, so I bet that being Olivia Benson has been one of the most meaningful experiences of her life.

Mariska’s Cancer North Node also happens to be in the sixth house. With her Capricorn South Node in the twelfth house, she may have spent a previous life focusing on being an introvert, researching the subconscious and spirituality, and uncovering the innermost depths of her thoughts and fears. In this life, however, that energy is intended to be palpable and expressed in the physical and material realm (6h). But in the ways that most emotionally fulfill her the most (cancer). This energy is reflected in how she serves others (6h), particularly those linked with feminine energy, such as women and children (cancer). And how she has supported the most vulnerable (cancer) members of our society, both on and off-screen, as part of her job (6h). But, again, the south node energy doesn’t just vanish. So her perceptive (12h) and disciplined and determined energy (Capricorn) undoubtedly contributed to her nurturing the types of experiences that she needed to cultivate to work with her karma and learn the lessons that were meant for her this lifetime (that south node-north node axis).

These were just some of the aspects and placements that stood out to me as I looked at her chart. I could go on and on regarding many other placements she has, but I’ll stop here. She’s a super badass lady. I think she’s great.

wherever your north node (rahu) is, that is what you want more than anything else in the world, what you would practically sell your soul to obtain. and it’s all because you don’t fully understand what it is to have this thing being represented. we idealize what we want but don’t have, we build it up in our heads and our hearts, and it makes us clumsy because when it comes into our lives we find that there is a difference between what we believed it was and what it is in reality for which we were unprepared. we attach so much meaning to something that isn’t there that we misinterpret its meaning when it enters our lives. it’s like learning about sex through pornography and then being disappointed when you experience the real thing.

As a traditional witch in a modern world, I want to be welcoming of New Agers’ beliefs. But some of them seem to be obsessed with having faith in negativity.

First, they say you have a “twin flame” whose job is to hurt you before you can reunite with them in joy many years later. Nothing but romanticized abuse, if you ask me.

And now, they say you have to run away from your South Node, because it is what caused your downfall in your past life and it could very well ruin you in this one.

News flash: Life can already be very harsh by itself. There is no need to create false darknesses.

The truth about your North and South Nodes is that they are a given. A constant. A fact. And there is no need to balance that.

Just as there is no need to balance the fact that a person was born with black hair and blue eyes. Neither black nor blue is good or bad. They are just what they are. Facts.

Your North Node is a clue towards your life purpose in this incarnation. Your South Node is a clue about who you were in your most recent past life.

Why would you strive towards one or back away from the other? They are both a part of you. There is no escape. And there is no need to.

Your North is your goal. And your South is the strength you carry with you to achieve that goal.

So if your North Node is in Aquarius — a sign that is all about communities and organizations — then part of your goal in this life is to lead a society. Big, medium, or small. Through politics, sports or spirituality.

Automatically, this means that your South Node is Aquarius’ opposite sign, Leo — which is all about pleasure and fun. That means that to achieve your goal of leading a society, your weapons are Leo’s entertaining characteristics. So be a brave and fun figure who gives people pleasure. That is how you become their successful leader.

Your nodes involve no ounce of imbalance or conflict. Rather, they are a guide as to how you can succeed and profit.

the beauty of ardra

margot robbie (ardra surya): upper photo

emilia clarke (ardra chandra): lower photo

the nakshatras of the nodes have a very distinctive appearance. the influence of the feminine rahu bestows ardra natives with the typical feminine features, such as delicate facial features, larger eyes, and a voluptuous body. the yin features of rahu gives natives a type of otherworldly and ethereal appearance, similar to that of saturn. this is because both planets are of the air element (for a better understanding of this go to my pushya nakshatra post). these natives typically have large and rounded eyes, dainty noses, and a lighter complexion (depending on the native’s ethnicity, i.e. if a rahuvian woman is of a darker complexion, she may have a slightly lighter complexion than her other non-rahuvian family members).

⭕️ let’s look at rahu’s most evolved state: the shatabisha nakshatra. this nakshatra is symbolized by the empty, yin circle. shatabisha is ruled by varuna, god of the rains, cosmic and terrestrial waters, sky and earth. in addition to the mystical healer, maya (illusion). the nature of shatabisha is also abundant in the other rahu-ruled vimshottari nakshatras (ardra and swati). this is because rahu is the utmost manifestation of the divine feminine. maya, being the embodiment of illusion, betows rahuvian individuals with the power of being an empty vessel for the divine collective; bending reality and transforming into the desires of others the native deems worthy. however, due to rahu’s rebellious nature, we see this powerful feminine force being steadfast and not easily influenced by others.

liv tyler (ardra surya): upper photo

emily blunt (ardra chandra): lower photo

ardra is the first rahu-ruled nakshatra. in order to better understand the nature of ardra, we need to take a step back and understand the previous nakshatra—mrigashira. mrigashira was the rejection of the garden of ignorance and the freedom to move on. in ardra, we see the process of forming the rational mind and free will. due to the intellectual nature of rudra, we see ardra natives preferring to study, understand, and learn about the physical world/plane. this often leads to a fascination with the physical plane and understanding the workings of everything that peaks their interest. with the mercurial energy of gemini (knowledge) and rahuvian influence of the vimshottari system (materialism and illusion), we can see the reasoning of ardra’s prevelance in dystopian, horror, and sci-fi films. this nakshatra’s fixation on understanding the world and finding freedom is the perfect combination for creating films with dark subject matter. rudra’s intentionally destructive nature also provides ardra natives with a niche ability to accumulate knowledge to understand the workings of the world and destroy what seems to not be fit. precisely how rudra represents the emotional release and purification that occurs after the storms of the plane or mind cease (more on this later!). this is similar to most character development in many horror/sci-fi films and the ever present devil/savior trope. if you’re interested in further looking into this dichotomy, i recommend “the exorcist” starring linda blair (ardra chandra), “bedazzled” staring elizabeth hurley (ardra lagna), and “supernatural” starring mark pellegrino (ardra lagna). this trope is also perfectly illustrated by lana del rey’s (ardra surya) music. in her earlier albums, “born to die”, “paradise”, and “ultraviolence”, the singer describes her natural love of the darker things in life (i.e. drugs, violence, guns). as her albums progress, we see her slowly become more aware of the dangers of her lifestyle and her slowly moving towards love and kindness instead—much like rudra’s symbolism of calming after the tumultuous storms of life. i highly recommend listening to her music to gain an understanding of ardra’s themes!

karen mulder (ardra surya): left photo

victoria beckham (adra lagna): right photo

ardra is heavily associated with animals. it is symbolized by the female dog yoni. this is indicative of ardra’s devotional, emotional, and knowledgeable nature. rudra is the ruler of this nakshatra. rudra desired to become “the lord of the animals”. this nakshatra also has the same animalistic dominion desire of uttara phalguni and revati. this is because the yonis of all three nakshatras are the female dog (ardra), female cow (uttara phalguni), and female elephant (revati). this may be indicative of the motherly, animalistic nature of all three nakshatras. this is also why all three nakshatras get along so well. the animalistic nature of ardra is why we see hundreds of ardra natives in animal prints, fur or leather, or animal symbolism via graphic tees or headbands; similar to the reoccurring cow print in uttara phalguni fashion!

vienna skye (ardra surya): upper photo

ariana grande (ardra surya): lower photo

another reoccuring style theme for ardra was the appreciation of 60s fashion, particularly the mod era of the 60s. time and time again, when doing my research for this post, i saw a multitude of ardra natives dress up/try to emulate 60s fashion. ardra natives such as ariana grande’s (ardra surya) 60s-inspired fashion in her most recent music videos (i.e. “34+35”) and chrissy tiegan’s (ardra lagna) multiple 60s themed events. i believe this behavior is due to rahu’s extreme prevalence in old hollywood and the 1960s’ modeling industry. for example, hedy lamarr (ardra lagna) was a prominent actress and inventor, jean shrimpton (swati surya) was an icon of swinging london and very popular model in the 60s, and pat cleveland (ardra surya) was a very well-known model who was the muse of every prominent fashion house in paris. i believe ardra natives try to emulate this era of fashion because of ardra’s appreciation of all things old and vintage, which appears to the nature of many of the rahuvian and ketuvian individuals. an additional thing to note is the prevalence of the color green in the ardra nakshatra. in hindu/vedic astrology, a particular type of color is dedicated to a certain nakshatra in which is lucky for the natives of the nakshatra to wear. green, being the color that symbolizes the fresh, succulent nature of rudra, is why the ardra natives shown above, vienna skye and ariana grande, are both wearing the color green. this also correlates to how many ardra natives have dyed their hair green shades or hues, i.e. gwen stefani (ardra chandra), nicole richie (ardra chandra), and rapper saweetie (ardra surya).

kaya scodelario (ardra chandra): upper photo

emma mackey (ardra chandra): lower photo

all nodal nakshatras tend to have a propensity for darker elements and themes in the media. this can be reflected in ardra’s love for grungy, smoky makeup; darker clothing; and vampy, vintage hair and fashion looks (much like the magha nakshatra). this darker aesthetic was also heavily popular in the 90s/2000s. most notably, lizzy caplan (ardra surya), who played janis ian in “mean girls”, her character was well known for her liking of punk subculture, heavy eye makeup, and band merchandise, a trait that was also common with the characters played by ardra natives: kaya scodelario (ardra chandra) in “skins” and emma mackey (ardra chandra) in “sex education”. this behavior is prevalent in the ketu and rahu natives because it reflects the smoky and tamasic nature of both shadow planets. by rejecting the more popular, mainstream trends for the purpose of embracing more expressive and alternative movements (such as grunge, punk, rock, alternative, etc.). this why we see the nodal nakshatras so prominent in those subculture musical genres (i.e. ardra natives kurt cobain of “nirvana” and jimmy page of “led zeppelin”).

as always, i am open to any constructive criticism! i tried to touch on both the appearance, fashion and nature of ardra and i hope i did well! this post took me forever to make and i truly tried to put so much effort into it! i just adore ardra’s emotional, purposefully destructive, raw and feminine energy its natives tend to reflect if you are looking for more information about ardra, get to know the overrulers and supreme deities of rahu, durga (the goddess of power) and the serpent god, and mercury, vishnu (the maintainer) and narayana (the cosmic person)!! if any of my placements or information is incorrect please feel free to let me know! also, i am fully aware of the origins of vedic astrology and if i was in anyway disrespectful to hindu culture, i will take down this post immediately xx

* all of these placements were found using astrotheme/.com and/or astro-charts/.com. it is important to note that some chandra (moon) placements may be off by up to 6 degrees and lagnas (risings) as well, due to the fact that many websites do not have a 100% accurate birth time for the given celebrities.

North Node moves into Gemini

The north node has been in Cancer giving a overall karmic lens of focusing on nurturing the self, the home, the earth. Now on May 6th, the north node will move into Gemini which means the south node will also move into Sagittarius until January 2022. This large karmic overtone of a shift will increase the need to communicate and find information. We are moving the focus from the home to the community. Sagittarius south node means using big ideas to support the details. We cannot find what we need far away. The focus is on community, localized support. Using what we have experienced in other parts of the world to support what we need locally. Beliefs can be grand and require faith but during this time we might question beliefs and look for more concrete truths. Asking questions, being curious. Seeking information. Truths will come out. Things that have been riding coat tails of a promise of faith that is untrue will be questioned. Meaning delusional blind faith will be tested. Sometimes the questions show more than the answers. What questions should we be asking. Speaking our truth, opening up communication, focusing on details so that we can build a world that aligns with our beliefs.

All the Signs the moment The North Node enters Taurus… ✨✨

This will be the tenth post in our series on astrological magic. Here I will briefly discuss some of the things you should know about the Lunar Nodes (Caput Draconis and Cauda Draconis). I also intend to introduce the concept of planetary days and hours, and the spirits which rule over them. We will also talk about some of the various other things you’ll need to know about if you want to build an effective magical circle to work from based on the astrological conditions you’re working with (mostly from Pietro D'Abano’s methods, but discussing some other relevant things, as well). This way, you’ll be prepared for a later post I’ll make about the ritual theory of astrological magic, and then this series can conclude, and serve as a foundation for some of the ideas in our upcoming series devoted to making talismans. Please be careful, and feel free to ask us if you have any questions.

The Lunar Nodes are a fairly important concept to know about in astrological magic. They influence the Moon in particular, and in fact, they are sometimes collectively called “the Dragon of the Moon.” Its image is that of a serpent with a hawk’s head. Caput Draconis (the “head of the Dragon,” or North Lunar Node) has different effects on the celestial bodies in different positions, but is considered the more positive influence of the Lunar Nodes. Here are a few of the specific effects Caput Draconis has on a chart:

-In the 1stHouse, it improves the quality of life and success.

-In the 2ndHouse, it helps one make more money, and it can help protect and hide thieves. It can also help you to effectively hide valuable things.

-In the 3rdHouse, it can help you make good friends, and gain the trust of others. It can also help you embark on a journey.

-In the 4thHouse, Caput Draconis can help you inherit large sums of money, and it encourages longevity of paternal figures.

-In the 5thHouse, it aids fertility, and especially helps people conceive daughters or twins. It also aids good reputation, and signifies a time when rumors can be trusted.

-In the 6thHouse, diseases are more severe. It can also aid in selecting a good doctor, though. It is a time to hire servants and help.

-In the 7thHouse, Caput Draconis can be used to cause people to go through many marriages in their lives. It can also bring forth numerous enemies.

-In the 8thHouse, it represents certain impending death. It does augment inheritances, though, and leaves widows or widowers well provided-for.

-In the 9thHouse, it helps travelers return safely, and it is good for the pursuit of science and religion.

-In the 10thHouse, it emphasizes the workings of people in powerful positions.

-In the 11thHouse, it can aid in gaining friends and good will.

-In the 12thHouse, it will help you cause people to have many enemies, and many lovers. It can also be used to cause incarcerated people to stay firmly held, and often to be mistreated.

Consider that Cauda Draconis (“the Dragon’s tail,” or South Lunar Node) doesn’t function much differently than the head. The only distinction is that rather than augment the things each house represents, it reduces them and weakens them. It’s also useful to know the two properties of the Lunar Nodes listed here:

-When Jupiter and Caput Draconis are together in the midheaven, this is a particularly good time to work.

-When the Moon is with Cauda Draconis, and is eclipsed or in an unfavorable aspect of Saturn or Mars, this is a good time to cause pain, illness, or upset.

Planetary days and hours are another concept you need to understand if you want to effectively cast astrological magic. Since there are seven days of the week and seven classical planets, it follows that each planet rules over one day of the week. There is a way to map out the days of the week and their ruling planets by placing the glyphs of the planets around a circle in Chaldean order (Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, the Sun, Venus, Mercury, and the Moon), and drawing a unicursal septagram starting at Saturn (which rules Saturday). As your line proceeds to each planet, that is the order of the planetary days. I’m not going to illustrate that here, since it isn’t horribly important for this purpose, but if requested, I might do a series on the foundations of Hermetic symbolism which will detail that sort of thing. Instead of detailing it here, I’ll just list the days and their rulers (which can be found in a different format here, along with a lot of other information about the planets):

Saturday – Saturn

Sunday – The Sun

Monday – The Moon

Tuesday – Mars

Wednesday – Mercury

Thursday – Jupiter

Friday – Venus

Each day is also ruled by an angel (nearly every pantheon contains equivalent deities to each of these angels, so it is possible to work with different imagery if you wish). The days each have an archangel and a sub-ruling angel, according to the Clavicula Solomonis. I will briefly go over these here.

Saturday’s archangel is Tzaphquiel. Its sub-ruling angel is Cassiel.

Sunday’s archangel is Raphael. Its sub-ruling angel is Michael.

Monday’s archangel is Gabriel. Its sub-ruling angel is the same.

Tuesday’s archangel is Khaniael. Its sub-ruling angel is Samael (also spelled Sammael or Zamael)

Wednesday’s archangel is Michael. Its sub-ruling angel is Raphael.

Thursday’s archangel is Tzadquiel. Its sub-ruling angel is Sachiel.

Friday’s archangel is Haniel. Its sub-ruling angel is Anael.

Pietro D'Abano identifies a (mostly) different set of spirits as the rulers of the days. I will give you those as well, in case you find them necessary. Be aware that he refers to some spirits as angels which almost certainly are not. I’ll be sure to differentiate between those as clearly as I can.

Saturday’s ruling angels are Cassiel and Uriel. D'Abano identifies a third angel who rules over Saturday, called Machatan. I don’t think this third spirit is really an angel.

The aerial spirit ruling over Saturday is Maymon, and the spirits who minister to him are identified as Abumalith, Assaibi, and Balidet. These spirits are subject to the Southwest Wind.

Sunday is ruled by the angels Michael and Dardiel. A spirit probably mistaken for an angel is Huratapal, who also rules over Sunday.

The aerial spirit who rules over Sunday is King Varcan. His subservient spirits are Tus, Andas, and Cynabal. These aerial spirits are subject to the North Wind.

Monday’s ruling angels are Gabriel, Michael, and Samael (sometimes spelled Sammael).

The aerial spirit ruling on Monday is King Arcan. He commands the spirits Bilet, Missabu, and Abuzaha. These aerial spirits are all subject to the West Wind.

Tuesday’s ruling angels are Samael (or Sammael), Satael, and Amabiel.

The aerial spirit ruling over Tuesday is King Samax. He commands Carmax, Ismoli, and Paffran. These aerial spirits are subject to the East Wind.

Wednesday’s ruling angels are Raphael, Miel, and Seraphiel.

The aerial spirit ruling over Wednesday is King Mediat (also spelled Modiat). He commands Suquinos and Sallales. These aerial spirits are subject to the Southwest Wind.

Thursday’s ruling Angels are Sachiel, Castiel, and Asasiel.

The aerial lord of Thursday is King Suth. He commands Maguth and Gutrix. These aerial spirits are subject to the South Wind.

Friday’s ruling angels are Anael, Rachiel, and Sachiel.

The aerial spirit ruling Friday is King Sarabotes. He commands Amabiel (who is probably a fallen angel), Aba, Abalidoth, and Flaef. These aerial spirits are all subject to the West Wind.

We already know that a day has 24 hours in it, and the same remains true when we’re talking about the planetary hours, though the way they’re divided up is different from the normal system of hours. To determine the length of a planetary hour, you should take the amount of time from sunrise to sunset on the day in question, and divide it by twelve, and the quotient will be the length of a planetary hour during the day. Do the same from sunset to sunrise, and that is the length of the nocturnal planetary hours. If you want to double-check your calculations, you can always add a diurnal hour to a nocturnal hour of the same day, and see if it adds up to a perfect 120 minutes. Now, to determine which planet rules the current hour, you should just remember that the first hour of each day is ruled by the same planet which rules over the day. Then, the planets ruling the hours proceed in Chaldean order for the next 24 hours. If you look closely at this, you’ll notice that the next planet in sequence after 24 hours is naturally the planet which rules over the next day. So, we can conclude that following the planetary hours in the Chaldean order is equally viable for determining the rulers of the days of the week.

The hours of the day also have names. These names are the same every day of the week, and they are divided up the same way as the planetary hours. I will list the names of the hours of the day here.

Day:

1st Hour – Yayn

2nd Hour – Yanor or Janor

3rd Hour – Nasnia or Nasmia

4th Hour – Salla

5th Hour – Sadedali or Sadedalia

6th Hour – Thamur

7th Hour – Ourer

8th Hour – Thainé or Thamic

9th Hour – Neron

10th Hour – Yayon or Jayon

11th Hour – Abai

12th Hour – Natalon or Nathalon

Night:

1st Hour – Beron

2nd Hour – Barol

3rd Hour – Thanu or Thami

4th Hour – Athor or Athar

5th Hour – Mathon or Methon

6th Hour – Rana

7th Hour – Netos

8th Hour – Tafrac or Infrac

9th Hour – Sassur

10th Hour – Agla or Aglo

11th Hour – Calerva or Cäerra

12th Hour – Salam

It’s not only important to know which planetary hour you’re working in, but also which spirits rule over it. The angels ruling over the hours correspond to the planets, so I will just give you a list showing which angel rules over the hour of each planet.

Saturn’s hours are ruled by Cassiel.

Jupiter’s hours are ruled by Sachiel.

Mars’s hours are ruled by Samael.

The Sun’s hours are ruled by Michael.

Venus’s hours are ruled by Anael.

Mercury’s hours are ruled by Raphael.

The Moon’s hours are ruled by Gabriel.

Be aware that there are many other spirits who are of certain times which I have not included here, including spirits of the air (spirits who are not angels or demons, but who wander), and demons. If I write at all about magic and information regarding demons and aerial spirits in the future, I might include this kind of information in those posts.

ThePicatrix identifies specific names of the planets which should be used for magical purposes, as well, and they are very similar to the Arabic names of the planets (they are quite possibly just regional variants of the Arabic names of the planets, pronounced slightly differently than in standard Arabic, and therefore also spelled differently in old European translations). I will list these below.

Saturn – Zohal

Jupiter – Musteri

Mars – Marrech

The Sun – Xemz

Venus – Zohara

Mercury – Hotarid

The Moon – Alchamar

The names of the seasons (that is, the names used for them in some magical traditions) are also important to know for some methods. Pietro D'Abano identifies them as follows.

Spring – Talvi

Summer – Casmaran

Autumn – Ardarael

Winter – Farlas

He says the Earth, Sun, and Moon should be referred to by different names depending on the season. Here are the names for the Earth.

Spring – Amadai

Summer – Festativi

Autumn – Rabianara

Winter – Geremiah

Now the names for the Sun.

Spring – Abraym

Summer – Athemay

Autumn – Abragini

Winter – Commutaff

And the names for the Moon.

Spring – Agusita

Summer – Armatus

Autumn – Matasignais

Winter – Affaterim

There are also particular spirits D'Abano identifies who rule during each season, and he calls them angels, but I disagree with him about most of these, because their names are not angelic. It is possible that he mistranslated or misspelled their names, but their complete obscurity from the basic characteristics of angelic names makes me doubt it. This doesn’t mean his methods shouldn’t be used, or that they are invalid, but just that I think he miscategorized the majority of the spirits he was dealing with. Still, I will list them, because they’re important if you want to make a circle in his method. I’ll be sure to note when I think these spirits are angels.

The spirits who rule in the spring are Caratasa, Core, Amatiel (who is an angel), and Commisoros. Spugliguel is the (correctly identified) angel who rules over the sign of spring.

The spirits who rule in the summer are Gargatel, Tariel, and Gaviel (who are all angels). Tubiel rules over the sign of summer (and is also an angel).

The spirits who rule over autumn are Tarquam, and Guabarel (who is an angel). The spirit ruling the sign of autumn is Tarquaret.

The spirits who rule over winter are Amabael (who is an angel), and Ctarari. The spirit ruling the sign of winter is Altarib.

I hope this post has provided useful information for you, and that it will serve as a useful reference for the rest of my series on astrological magic. This series is coming close to its end. I will continue it very soon, probably to explain how you should build a circleandconsecrate the space where you will do your work.

Astrology Notes

10th house and 5th house synastry differences. 10th house partner respects your feelings, you as a person and takes you seriously. From this can come some mature serious relationship. 5th house is fun energy which means that the person looks at you as a fun person, with the soft soul, person is cool with you ,but nothing more. Because you still don’t look at a person as if you can have anything more than that with them. In many cases, you don’t take it seriously. The 5th house represents a youthful relationship, a temporary bond that we outgrow. While 10th house represent maturity and adulthood. It represents a relationship that we take seriously and see as potential.

Sun in 1st house synastry-the person may see you as immature, childish, or may not take you seriously. As a person who may be too immature or proud.

Saturn in 1st house synastry-you look at the person as serious and mature, you respect her and person seems very smart and wise to you. Maybe even intimidating.

Neptune 1st house synastry-a person can see you as a dream person, dreams a lot about you but may not see you after who you really are.

☁️Uranus in 1st house synastry-the person sees you as unique, special, different. You can impress her and person will remember you quickly.

Neptune in 12th house - will have a lot of talent for music, drawing, creating, spirituality. These people are very good at the imagination and the things they do. But many times they are not aware of it. They don’t have as much contact with spirituality and may encounter it later in life. They usually find out about it through others. Because the 12th house is unconscious which means that people are not aware of these things so it is harder to get to them.

North node in 12th house- Someone with this position in chart may find it difficult to cope with subconsciousness and spirituality. Therefore, these people may never come into contact with spirituality or their subconscious because it is harder to find.

Capricorn/ aries/ aquarius placements- all independnent. Person with this placements will be focused on themselves and their needs. Aries are in general independment, they don’t need anybody , they can do everything alone. Its not the problem for them. Capricorn are practical and responsible and like to act alone. They also don’t like to waste time with others. Also don’t like to adapt too much to others, they rely only on themselves. Aquarius love society and people but often feel alienated from it.

3rd house represent how you deliver the message. Venus here tends to be diplomatic, Mars forthright and unwilling to compromise, Jupiter ca be effusive, Saturn more taciturn. But someone with Saturn in the 3rd house can convey a strong message. Maybe a person is not so eloquent but when person speaks really says something meaningful, so people can be more attentive.

✨Dominion:A sign in which a planet is at its strongest.

The planet that is aspected the most by other planets and essential bodies is important to look at. The most aspected planet is challenged because the energy of that planet must integrate so many other aspects, but this also makes the planet a powerful focal point for the same reason. For ex.: if the Mercury is the most aspected u will gain great wisdom. Much of this person’s life will be connected to the gathering of information, learning, and communication.
