As you can tell, I’ve been having trouble getting back into art recently. So, I decided to put myself up to the challenge of joining Art Fight this year (my very first one!) So maybe it’ll get me back into the flow of drawing consistently.
It’s not set in stone yet since I have to see if I can complete all my reference sheets in time, but I chose 10 of my ocs and finished icons for them! Here are the first two.
Fictional mission / Space That Never Was / Alternate timeline
Two cosmonauts conducting a spacewalk to replace damaged piece of equipment mounted on the outer hull of the Ambition 2 spacecraft.
Ambition 2 / Mars-Phobos
In the mid 80s, international cooperation between USSR, USA, Japan and a few European countries resulted in a follow-up to successful Ambition 1 mission from a few years earlier. This time the goal was to visit and explore one of Mars moons, Phobos, in hope to find a suitable place for a permanent base on its surface, which would be built by the crew of Ambition 3, mission that would launch in late 1980s.

Solar System - Deimos (upper) and Phobos (lower)
And as the year begins, I am continuing through our Solar System. The divine twins, sons of Ares. Phobos stands for Fear (ergo, -phobia), Deimos stands for Terror.

how would i work with phobos (greek god of fear) as a deity? ive tried looking up offerings for him but i guess hes not a very common deity and i cant really obtain a dead bull or bulls blood for him…

Recently it has been the 20th anniversary of “W.i.t.c.h.”, so naturally I had to do something about it, as you normally do.
I know that a lot of old shows and movies have been rebooted (to the point of obnoxiousness), BUT I would like to propose my idea for an eventual remake, with up-to-date character designs.
Yes, the Oracle looks like Aang from “AtLA” has gone through a bleaching process, and Elyon is definitely inspired by the signer Aurora, sue me.
