So, yes. I have been gone for so long, I cannot even remember the date of the post before this one. But, either way, I feel like I ought to actually apologize (to those who really give a damn, I guess) for my lengthy (and unintentional) break from Tumblr. Many things have happened lately. Health, education, relationships, family…My god, I often wonder how I’m not in the cardiac unit at the damn hospital. It sometimes gets to that point, no joke. But anyways, I have plenty of new things to post and whatnot since my absence. I also have a question for you guys…Should I perhaps change my URL? Particularly referencing some sort of literary title or quote? I am unsure…Or does ‘In This Colony’ just sort of fit, especially since it’s been used so long? Suppose I’d kind of like you guys’ help, if you have the time or effort to do so. It isn’t necessary, but would be helpful as well as something I’d cherish and appreciate, should I choose the URL. Anyways, I’m done for now. Happy Black Friday or whatever. Don’t die.

It started with a question.

You snorted, tucking your face into his chest, the bridge of your nose and your forehead flush against his bed- warmed skin. This man is something else. He laughed, too, and you felt the sound rumbling through him as he kissed the top of your head. I love him so much. Your arms tightened around his middle as you pressed your lips to his sternum, and then you loosened your grip enough to balance your chin where you’d just kissed.
So I took a break from tumblr for a while but now I’m back! I don’t think I will be posting as often as I used to but I hope it will be more consistent! A few of you have sent submission and I apologize for not posting them yet, thank you for putting yourself out there.

Today is Easter Sunday, the day in which our Lord & Saviour, Jesus Christ, rose from the dead, officially cleansed humanity of its sins, & ultimately created our religion of Christianity (which of course includes the denomination that is Catholicism). Today is one of the most, if not THE most, important day for all of us Catholics & fellow Christians, as it’s the day in which our relationship with God was restored through Jesus Christ, & through His teachings we can ultimately return back to our true home. So to celebrate this wonderful holiday, I thought it’d be appropriate to put together a picture set, since this blog celebrates Catholicism. The top picture underneath the header shows a painting of Jesus walking out of the tomb in which He was buried, with the stone gently placed to the side of the doorway. The middle picture shows another painting of Jesus rising & walking out from the tomb, only this time with two loyal angels of God by His side. Finally, the bottom pictures shows the modern day traditions many of us use to celebrate Easter: it shows a rabbit, presumably the Easter Bunny, in a basket observing all the colorful eggs in a sunny field.
I would include an added bonus of Easter songs like I did with the Christmas post, but there really aren’t that many strictly Easter songs. The only one I could think of is “Here Comes Peter Cottontail”, but that’s about it. Sorry about that!

When Glorfindel arrives in Imladris, he becomes one of Elrond’s first therapy patients. Certain things set him off; fire from the torches, wind flying through his hair and grabbing it like a claw, the shouts of young children that suddenly morph into the screams of his dying men.
He has had his episodes, many behind closed doors, but enough in public for it to cause concern.
Therapy is an alien term to him, in fact, it’s an alien term to all Imladris, as it is a word coined by Elrond himself. He suggest it to Glorfindel, calling it a “healing of the mind” rather than the body. After much consideration, and hesitation (for Glorfindel does not want to acknowledge his problems, let alone the fact that he is weak), he accepts Elrond’s offer.
It is unlike anything he has experienced. It is slow in progress, and requires far too many emotions.
By the end of the session, Glorfindel is a crying mess. Yet, feels strangely relieved.
hi i am a fool and i’m putting my yokai au stuff on hiatus again
Once again, I’ve hit a massive rut on my yokai things while my mind has been blossoming with other ideas. One of those ideas is just taking a break from my series writing and using this blog as a more casual thing. I’ve only ever reblogged stuff from my friends and fanart of my things and such before, and I’ve had this stigma of only posting things related to my content. I wanna start reblogging things that interest me, and I’m probably going to get more in touch with my love for stimboards/moodboards and my jay kin (or, as my friends know it as, my jarf kin). So, in short, I apologize for those who were hyped by my brief return a while back, but I’m afraid the spark has kinda been very dim for a while now, and I need to feel less like this blog is an obligation, and more of my own personal space to let loose.
