But what makes Oikawa awesome is he picked himself up and pulled himself together almost instantly
*Iwazumi and Oikawa having an intense staring contest*
Iwazumi: *Eyes drying out, but he’s trying genuinely hard not to blink.*
Oikawa: *Having the time of his life staring into Iwazumi’s eyes*

Iwaizumi: kid, i saw that man drop his milk bread and cry over it for at least twenty minutes.
Okay so like Demigod!Haikyuu crossover is blowing my mind rn. So here is this dumpster fire
- Hinata is an ADORABLE child of Apollo, and he still loves Volleyball but he’s naturally really good at archery too! Definetly in love with Kageyama
- Kageyama looks like he’d be powerful, everyone assumes he’d be a child of Zeus, Posiedon, or Hades, but he always enjoys the look of fear in their eyes when he robs the world of light, as only a child of Nyx (goddess of the night) could, smitten with sunshine aka Hinata
- Tsukki is a son of Athena, which really didn’t shock anyone,especially not Tsukki, though he does take issue with some of his more “unexpected” siblings, whipped for Yama and formulated a business regarding a certain illicit plant
- Yamaguchi can nurture and grow things so naturally that he is claimed as a child of Demeter almost instantaneously (he definetly doesn’t grow any illegal plants with his powers) he and Tsukki have a lot of money, no one knows why
- Tanaka is a son of Aries in the most stereotypical sense and he’s found his people
- Noya loves his half brother, Tanaka, but he still absolutely destroys him in sword play, the two sons of aries are impossible on the battle field, thinks Asahi is a damsel in distress
- Enoshita is a son of Hestia, goddess of the home and hearth, because he is steady and grounded in a way that many envy
- Asahi is a son of Iris, the goddess of rainbows, because not only is he precious but he’s also inherited his mother’s eye for color, not as big on battle, Noya thinks this is adorable
- Sugawara is the head of the Aphrodite cabin, and probably the most likeable member, also probably one of the most dangerous, has a thing for sons of aries (like his mom), mainly just one son of aries
- Daichi struggles to keep his brothers in check, but no other child of aries is up for the job so as the most level headed kid in that whole cabin, Daichi steps up, when he’s not playing dad to his siblings, he’s trying to impress a particularly mischievous son of Aphrodite
- Kiyoko is a huntress of Artemis
- Yachi is a very helpful nymph
- Oikawa is Suga’s brother and the self proclaimed “hottest son of aphrodite” he likes to act like he is a ladies man but everyone knows he has eyes for one son of Aries
- Bless Iwaizumi son of aries, and the only person next to Daichi who can keep the other unruly aries children in line, says he hates oikawa but was caught in the aphrodite cabin with him, many,many times
- Kyoutani is a son of hades. No one is surprised. He hates everyone. Except Yahaba. Yahaba is okay.
- Yahaba is a particularly aggressive child of aphrodite who definetly does not want to marry a certain son of hades (suga and oikawa tease him all the time)
- It’s Kuroo he’s the unexpected child of Athena, and everyone is confused, but these things dont always make sense and Tsukki has to have something go wrong
- Kenma is a very quick witted child of Hermes who is definetly in on Tsukki and Yama’s…scheme
- Akaashi keeps the peace in the Athena cabin, and spends a considerable amount of time with a certain son of Hermes
- Bokuto is a reluctant son of Hermes, who uses most of his brain power hitting on Akaashi
- Ushijima is the son of Demeter, and knows absolutely nothing about his younger brother’s illicit plants or his boyfriend’s (tendou) inate proclivity for maddness
- Tendou is the freakiest son of Dionysus ever, he positively reeks of madness and Ushijima

13. bitch are you dumb?
Iwaizumi looked at Oikawa’s message without answering him. He hated that he understood more than he did. He didn’t want to hear him brag about how great of a friend he was, even if it was true.
By placing his phone in his jacket pocket, he sank into the sofa in the small dressing room of Y/n. As soon as he closed his eyes all the moments spent with her, all the laughs and teasing came in his mind and feeling the butterflies in his stomach couldn’t stop a smile.
“are you okay ‘zumi?”
So lost in his thoughts, he didn’t realize the girl was coming. And at that moment, seeing her so different from her usual self, he realized how much he liked her every facet and would not have heard the end of his best friend’s boosting.
“Oh yeah, I’m okay” he suddenly answered, “you look great” he added, trying to calm her down.
“thank you… I feel so weird” laughed Y/n looking in the mirror in the room.
“you’ll get used to it, you’ll see.” he gave her a smile, believing in what he said.
The girl turned smiling at him “let’s cross our fingers then.”
Iwaizumi approached her and took her hand, starting to caress her with his tumb “I know it’ll be fine.”
Y/n crossed his green eyes through the mirror, a sweet smile appeared on their faces accompanied by a slight redness on their cheeks.
Of all the moments they spent together, that proximity was definitely their favourite.

Act 12. wrong account
The atmosphere was light and cheerful around the two as they ate what they had ordered.
There was a light in the bar that made the girl in front of him look even more beautiful and unreal.
“Are you excited about the qualifiers?”
The girl’s voice brought him back to reality. She sipped her cappuccino while waiting for his answer.
“Of course, we won’t lose. We’ll go to nationals.”
Iwaizumi’s answer made her look up to meet his beautiful green eyes. It was the same answer Hinata would give, or Kageyama, that’s when she realized her heart would break anyway. Because both her friends and the boy in front of her could have lost.
A sweet smile illuminated her face “let’s give our best then”
Iwaizumi smiled in turn, promising that regardless of the outcome of the matches, he would not drive that girl away.
And without realizing it, he shook hands and they just stood there, chatting and laughing until the last sip of coffee.

Act 08. CuTe
Y/n knew perfectly that she could not keep her promise. That’s what she said every time Kuroo and Kenma went to visit her and she would punctually end up weeping.
Even if it was only three hours of travel, that distance was atrocious for her. She wanted to spend the days with her friends, but obviously things don’t always go the way you want.
She took her bag and came out of the room ready to greet those boys she had grown fond of in no time.
“Y/NNNN” Bokuto’s voice came loud and clear, rumbling in the school halls and in the girl’s ears. The captain of the Fukurodani was already in tears as he ran against his new friend.
To everyone’s huge surprise, Bokuto and Y/n had managed to make a strange friendship that made them look like friends for years and not a few months.
“Bokutoo don’t make it so hard for me!” The girl’s scolding seemed more like a plea. Her shiny eyes ready to weeping sweet tears of farewell.
Bokuto smiled and took the bag from her shoulder and then began to accompany her out where the others were waiting for her.
“Akaashi and Kuroo said we’ll come see you as soon as we can.”
Y/n looked at him smiling. She was touched by all the affection and care that Bokuto had towards her despite knowing each other recently.
She smiled and nodded “I’m counting on it.”
As soon as they left school they found themselves with the others, ready to say goodbye.
“My team is looking forward to playing against you again,” she added.
Y/n walked away from Bokuto and then approached his Nekoma friends. Huge mistake.
“Are you made of Copper and Tellurium?” Obviously Kuroo’s jokes could not be missing. Waiting for an answer to his, obvious, rhetorical question Y/n raised eyebrows urging him to speak.
“Because you’re CuTe”
The funniest thing? The eyebrow movement. His boldness made them even more fun, but he’ll never know.
“If only I could say goodbye to everyone but you,” she smiled as she embraced that giant nerd.
“Yes, of course. You could never.”
Kuroo gave her a wink and then left her to Kenma, who immediately hugged her.
“I’ll never get used to it, you know?” the girl asked referring to all this closeness from the boy, not that she was complaining.
“Neither did I.” Kenma smiled and went away to say goodbye to Shoyo who was as perky as usual.
“MY LITTLE LEV LOVE COME AND SEE ME SOMETIMES” cried the girl when the youngest lifted her up in the air, holding her in a hug and smashing her ribs.
“COUNT ON IT Y/N-CHAN!” He smiled and put her on the ground.
At first Y/n wanted to kick Lev for underestimating Hinata, but she immediately changed her mind when she saw him play and spoke to him for the first time. It’s a half-Russian, taller version of Hinata, two babies.
Akaashi timidly approached her and twisted her hair. A gesture he had learned to be Y/n’s favorite, if done with affection and delicacy.
The girl smiled and with the index finger of her left hand pricked a cheek making him blush.
“If Bokuto tries to hug me I swear I’ll come after you” provoked her with a little smile.
Y/n teased him at her turn, rolling her eyes and said, “So dramatic.”
“No one ever died for a hug.”
“You got close, though” Akaashi thought back to the first hug Bokuto gave Y/n as soon as she got to camp. The girl turned her nose.
“Damn, you’re right.”
With a little laugh, Akaashi once more twisted the girl’s hair before leaving her in Bokuto’s clutches.
Bokuto was waiting for her with his hands on his hips and a smirk on his face. Y/n had to admit that even just standing still, Bokuto emanated a really comfortable aura… and even a slight comic aura, but maybe it was better to keep it to herself.
“Y/N-CHAAAN! I hope you enjoyed this week!" The captain of the Furukodani shouted, stunning the girl who was stuck in a lethal embrace.
The youngest laughed and then nodded and gave a big smile, one of those she always gave to her friends when she was happy.
"I hope to be able to spend more moments like this! Thanks for everything Bokuto-chan!” she said trying to free herself from the strange embrace of the boy.
It was a rather hilarious scene seen from the outside. Bokuto squeezing to death a poor girl who couldn’t stop laughing at the situation, while Kuroo and Daichi tried to free her to get her on the bus.
Once on the bus, Y/n lowered the window to say goodbye one last time to her friends.

Stupidkawa {Iwaizumi x Reader x Oikawa}
This was self indulgent, not a request. I love Oikawa and Iwaizumi and Haikyuu in general so I couldn’t stand the fact that I haven’t written anything for Haikyuu. This has probably been written like a million times, I apologize if it’s a bit repetitive, I couldn’t help myself.

Squeaks and thuds could be heard at Aoba Johsai gym, which was strange considering practice for the boys volleyball club had been finished for a good few hours now. This caught the attention of a certain pretty boy setter as he walked past.
Intrigued at who was practicing this hour, he decided to walk closer. He instantly heard laughter, one that he knew all too well, but then another voice spoke up. Oikawa’s heart skipped a beat.
Where those two in there together? For how long? What were they doing?
Thoughts like those took over his mind as he took a peek inside the gym. A good amount of volleyballs littered one part of the gym, the one farthest from the door. The nets were still up, the lights were still on, and there were two people in the gym… Alone.
He could see them clearly. His two childhood friends alone in the gym, acting all lovey dovey.
It made him sick to his stomach. Tooru had always fantasized about the day Iwaizumi finally found himself a girl and in all those scenarios, he was a proud father. Never would he have ever imagined himself jealous at Iwa-chan, but here he was in all his jealous glory.
The way Iwaizumi had his hands on hers as he went through the motions of an overhand serve brought him sick to his stomach.
“You think you got it?” Their bodies were pressed up against each other and, although Iwaizumi had stopped doing the motions, he still had his hands on hers.
“I think. Let me give it a try.” Her sweet angelic voice echoed through the gym. Oikawa’s heart speed up. He’d heard her voice a million times already but he wanted to her it a billion times more.
Iwaizumi nodded at her response and let go off her, his hands lingering for a bit. He took a couple steps back and focused his sole attention on her, he was seemingly not able to look away. But how could anyone look away when she had that fiery smile, determination, and confidence?
Oikawa and Iwaizumi sure couldn’t.
Iwaizumi observed from the side of the court, his focus solely on the (h/c) haired female whose presence naturally captured his attention. Iwa was so focused on her that he didn’t notice the trash by the door.
She walked multiple steps behind the service line and smiled at Iwaizumi. Hajime’s eyebrows furrowed and he tilted head as she threw the ball high up in the air and approached for a jump serve.
Her feet left the ground as soon as the service line was in front of her. She soared to the sky like a majestic eagle and Iwaizumi fell for her more than he already had.
The same can be said for Oikawa.
A loud smack reverberated throughout the gym as her hand perfectly collided with the ball. On the other side of the court, the ball hit the floor with another loud smack. She gracefully landed on her feet and was about to turn to Iwa but the arms that suddenly wrapped around her body and brought it closer to theirs restricted her from doing so.
Iwaizumi held her tight against his body, making sure there wasn’t any space between them. She could hear the pounding of his heart as neither of them made a move to let go. Hajime rested his head on her shoulder and closed his eyes. At this point, they were both red in the face.
He turned his head to her neck and nuzzled it while his eyes were closed. She closed her eyes and basked in the warmth Hajime provided her. She also placed her arms on to of the ones wrapped around her waist.
He opened his eyes and brought his lips to her ear, kissing it lightly and making the girl shiver because it tickled.
“You know, you could’ve just asked me to hold you tight like this. I wouldn’t have mind. You don’t have to pretend to not know something for me to pay attention to you.” He whispered into her ear, his hot breath tickling her and his words made her feel many things. Her knees, which were already weak at the moment, went weaker as he lightly nibbled on her ear and trailed soft butterfly kisses behind her ear, trailing them down her neck and shoulders.
Oikawa tortured himself by continuing to look at the scene in front of him with wide, blurry eyes. He knew you two were close, but he didn’t know you to where THAT close.
But then again, who was he to say a thing? He wasn’t your brother and he most definitely wasn’t your boyfriend. He was only but your childhood friend. He had no right to meddle in you and Iwa-chan’s relationship, no matter how much it hurt him. He had no right to be mad at Iwa-chan for taking the one thing he wanted most in the world, not when you were never his to begin with. He had no right to be mad at you. He didn’t even have a right to still be your friend, not after everything he put you through. It wasn’t your fault you wanted to move on, to finally fix that shattered heart of yours. It was his.
If he hadn’t been such a fool, maybe, just maybe, you’d be in his arms instead. Maybe he’d have the right to call you his. Maybe he could’ve been happy. Maybe you could’ve been happy. Happy with him instead of his best friend.
But that was just a maybe. He knew deep in his broken heart that you wouldn’t have been happy with him. Even if you were, you would be in more pain than happiness. You weren’t the one who broke his heart, he was the one who broke his own heart. And the only one who would be able to fix it was you. But at the cost of your own. Oikawa needed you to fix him. He needed your kindness and understanding. He needed you to need him. He needed you to love him.
But he knew that if you gave yourself to him, he would only break you further than he already did. He would’ve wasted all of Iwa-chan’s hard work.
He wouldn’t be able to treat you properly. He wouldn’t be able to love you properly. He wouldn’t be able to give you everything you deserved. But he knew Iwa would.
Iwa would treat you properly. Iwa would love you properly. Iwa would give you everything you deserved. Iwa would never let you down. Iwa would never hurt you. Iwa would never do what Oikawa had and would do.
Iwa deserved you and you deserved Iwa. You deserve someone who’d give and give and that person was not Oikawa.
Oikawa refused to be selfish. Oikawa refused to hinder yours and Iwa-chan’s happiness any longer.
“My, my. What do we have here? Our Iwa-chan finally found himself a girl~” Oikawa teased the two (mostly Iwa-chan), finally revealing his presence. Iwa-chan froze, still holding onto your body tightly.
“How long have you been standing there Shittykawa!?” Iwaizumi looked at Oikawa with his usual scary faced, which seemed to be reserved for Oikawa.
Oikawa watched as Iwa-chan charged at him, or at least tried to. He was held back by a nervously laughing (y/n) who had her arms wrapped around his waist, trying to get him to stop charging.
“C’mon (y/n)! Let me punch him at least once!”
“I don’t think that’s necessary Haji.”
Haji… she called him Haji. If it was even possible, Oikawa’s heart broke even more, but he buried the hurt and jealousy he was feeling and tried to be happy for his two friends.
But even he, a master faker, couldn’t fake the tears running down his face. All he could do was smile with all his might and chalk up his tears as ones of happiness. Seeing as they were too caught up in each other, he wordlessly excused himself, dragging his heavy feet out of the gym, leaving the couple alone again.
He looked up at the night sky and silently let his tears fall.
Treat her right Iwaizumi. You have her so don’t let her go. Don’t be a Stupidkawa like me.
