#cosplay wip
My final version of Mollymauk’s coat, with all of the beading done, sparkling in the sunlight. It was a lot of time and effort for just a little bit of shimmer but I’m very happy with it.

Finished my shoulders! Soon, Justice will rain from above!!!
Preview to my next cosplay
Did some work over the weekend on the fine details. I made the beaded drop belt, the choker, and finished up the ear muffs. The sleeves are still just pinned, since I’m waiting for more small 2.9mm pearls for the cat’s eye cabochon borders. Once those are all set I can close up and actually stitch the sleeves on. And of course finish the 6 more layers to the last tier of the petticoat.
Right now, with the completion of the choker, you’re looking at 4,956 beads on this dress. By the time the sleeves and wig are done, definitely gonna pass the 5,000 mark!
So… going on about 3 weeks now since I started this beast?

Still roughing things out. Attempted to make a wig. I had already tried gluing it to my scalp and I THINK it’ll work. It passed a few hair whip tests. That prosthetic nose might stay or go. I am unsure how I feel about it… contacts are ordered but they’re apparently getting lost in the mail.
Update: the nose is going! It was meh for the caharceter and I accidently ripped it with my fucking beautifully brutish goblin hands.
End of 2021 is as good a time as any to work on a new project, so here are some progress shots of Eivor. I used my Cricut to cut out a knotting pattern with felt and tacked it down as a guide for the shirt embroidery. So far so good!
Quick Eivor update. I’m about 50% done with the embroidery now that I’ve finished the sleeves. I expect the bottom hem will be wrapped some time this week and then it’s on to the gambeson! …which will cover most of this embroidery anyway but isn’t that always how this goes.
