Why do people make out that being rejected for a date is a bad thing? I would much rather be full on rejected than led on and made to think that they like me when they don’t.

I enjoy watching things go out of fashion.
I enjoy seeing what’s left behind.
The skeleton of existence,
the home we all return to.

“There’s a certain Slant of light,
Winter Afternoons –
That oppresses, like the Heft
Of Cathedral Tunes –“
-Emily Dickinson

I think this poem is going to be my second favorite one since this is a compact version of how winter feels like during its darkest hours. A hefty dry air surrounds our body with sharp pain of the coldest hour. Buildings fall on top of us while the morning fog falls over their roof like a blanket.
