A year after the war ends, everyone spends xmas together and Shiro and Keith finally kiss… and then later that night they kiss even more. And then they stay together and explore space for the rest of their lives.

AU where Steve is made an SSR agent instead of a soldier, he and Peggy fight with Bucky through Europe, and the three of them return to New York after the war to found SHIELD. They and Daniel take on their bigoted coworkers and the cases no one else will pick up. Steve and Peggy charge headlong into back-alley firefights and Bucky struggles just to keep up and make sure they don’t get killed. Between them and Howard, Jarvis is losing hair and sleep from the stress. Bucky and Daniel become activists for increased protections for veterans and Steve joins them to fight for rights for disabled citizens. Howard makes several prosthetic arms for Bucky, each with better functionality and aesthetics than the last. The L&L Automat becomes the designated after-hours hangout and they’re Angie’s favorite customers. Peggy climbs the ranks to director and together they stomp out the last of HYDRA.
