With the date of release coming closer, I’m a bit scared that our fandom will become mean and toxic so let’s do a pinky promise!
Let us all be always kind to each others. No matters what your favorite ship is, your favorite part is, if you read the books first, read it because of the adaptation or not read them at all. It doesn’t matter.
What matter is that we all love this universe, we all vibed with it for differents reasons, we all found characters to love, hate, support, laugh about, laugh with.
We are all here because one amazing woman, create a universe that brought us together, and we had the chance to have it adapted onscreen, to have the fandom expanded.
So let’s pinky swear to do no gatekeeping, no attacking the cast, or the ships, or the different tastes and opinion. Let’s pinky swear to never act unkindly. Let’s pinky swear to never disrespect Leigh Bardugo and her work that brought us here.

The adaptation of Shadow and BoneandSix of Crows will be released soon and I love this universe, so I took a break from Barbie fanarts to focus on some studies based on the images that have already been released <3

OMG!! I’m still alive! I can’t believe it! It’s been like ages since I finished an illustration. I’m really happy with how it came out. In case you don’t who is she, let me introduce you to Genya Safin from the Shadow and Bone trilogy by @lbardugo. Also, I wanted to clarify my absence during these last months. My university is very demanding and we are in the middle of delivering the final project in October. Anxiety has been hitting hard. This weekend I could find a space to draw but it is true that I do not know when I will have time to make another illustration really. I wish its soon. My Review
Leigh Bardugo has changed my life! After finishing the first novel in her second series it quickly became one of my favorite books ever.
In all honesty I would say the characters really made the story for me. She artfully crafts characters that are all unique and diverse racially, sexually, and religiously, but writes them in a way that they all come together in a heartwarming tale of friendship and comradery. The characterization is so unique for all six outcasts so that no matter what I guarantee you’ll like at least one of them (but you’d have to be heartless to not fall in love with all of them). The most important part is that none of them are perfect. They all have flaws or troubles in their past that make them seem human and that’s why you love them and want them to succeed so badly.
It will rip your heart out but it’s also one of the most hopeful masterpieces that I’ve ever read.
If I had to sum in up with a few words: mind blowing, emotional, romantic, exhilarating, empowering, beautiful, hilarious, fun!
I would highly recommend this book and its sequel, Crooked Kingdom, to anyone because it really has something for everyone. If you’ve already read Leigh’s original Grisha trilogy, since its a connected universe there are some fun references and cameos, but you absolutely can read the six of crows duology without any prior grishaverse knowledge.

I love Genya’s kefta, but I debated where to put it. It’s sometimes described as white, but it looked too dark to fit in with the other white dresses. I considered silver, but it wasn’t very shiny, so I finally settled on grey.
Genya’s kefta is unique not only because she is a Tailor (a rare ability) but also because she is a member of the palace staff rather than attached to the army like most other grisha. It doesn’t follow the usual color scheme, and it also appears to be shorter and lighter-weight than the ones worn in the field; compare Alina’s black kefta, which is ankle-length. The belt buckle seems to have an image of the Ravkan double eagle, like Alina’s.
Genya Safin was a minor character that I really liked in Leigh Bardugo’s Grisha trilogy with a small Cameo in the SoC duology. She’s supposed to be in King of Scars too and I’m really looking foward to it!
