Fantastic Four #130 (Thomas/Buscema, Jan 1973). Reed can’t keep up with women’s lib so Sue takes Franklin and leaves. Just as Franklin’s starting to show hints of his own powers, too! Gosh, after reading a good chunk of Buscema’s art with Vince Colletta’s sketchy inks, I’m really so impressed with Joe Sinnott’s more elegant ink. It really retains Kirby’s sense of polish and kinetic drama.
Now that Animaniacs season 2 has been out for a bit, I’m gonna post some of my favorite stuff that I colored for it! Starting with these creatures from Warner’s Ark- I think the Nuckalavee is one of my favorite things I’ve done for the show as a whole

Medusa (2020)
After that night with Poseidon, Medusa was never the same, Athena saw to it. Was this a curse or a gift? Only Medusa and Athena truly know. (No snakes were harmed in the making of these collage, in fact it was as if they chose to be here.)

this was suppose to be a simple doodle
I bought Clip Studio Paint when it was on discount and tried it out by making this portrait of my ball python gorgon, Echo. She really needed a more final face/spots design, and I think I’m getting close to what I want her to look like.

My fingers hurt after too many illustration jobs, and using a tablet makes it worse so I fetched my colour pencils and overhand-grip-loose-drew my python gorgon. I don’t have very detailed design of her yet, so she’s very inconsistent.

Doodled a bit and while it’s part of a larger drawing, might not finish the rest and leave it as is. :X
The drawing originally had Cleo working on armour stands in the foreground, with Impulse, Gem, and Pearl in the background coming to visit.

A Motley Crew
This lovely piece is for Ganelon’s D&D party from the campaign he’s currently a part of, consisting of Nephthys the gorgon, Barry the warforged, Issek the sheth, and Paris the… human. I’m extremely pleased with the amount of detail I was able to pull out of this image to depict this adorable group, especially with their matching scarves~~COMMISSION DETAILS~
