The FE Compendium had a challenge a little while back where you were supposed to draw one of your castle visitors and note their skills and stuff, but it just made me want to draw my main team. So, I did that.
Hector’s got a really fun build. Everyone else still has some wiggle room for improvement and me liking other builds better, but I’m pretty happy with my main team overall. They’ve been aptly named “Team Heck.”

I played fe7 as a kid, and only played fe6 when I was older. The fact that you can’t do anything about the fate of the fe7 lords in fe6 was so painful. It felt like you really fail them as a friend and that keeping their kids alive and getting them to their happy endings felt like a personal promise and an apology to old friends.
Hector is tied with Lyn as my favourite Lord in all the FE games I’ve played so far so of course I’m going to draw my take on him. I’ve always felt like there’s so much depth to Hector’s character so I also wanted to explore that too.

initially i was thinking about the similarities and differences between trevor and hector being hated from birth and growing up without families for very different reasons
but then i drew this AU where they become farmers because the night hordes destroyed all of wallachia’s crops… and because their ship name was dubbed tractor
i’ve been playing curse of darkness because i love hector and isaac so much, so i drew show hector how i play him in the game (punch everything), and some doodles
Originally I wanted to draw an outfit swap for these two, but couldn’t figure out what energy Hector would have in any of Lenore’s dresses… and Carmilla’s dress was right there and it works better on him.
Anyway this is therapeutic for Hector do not judge him.
This is a commission I got from the amazing Ayegee_art (twitter,Instagram) for my post season 3 fanfic Love Spells that gives Lenore and Hector a happy ending. This particular scene takes place in chapter 7.

I started writing the fic after season 3, and it was really difficult for me to finish after how terrible their ending was in S4. Even if you liked it or didn’t mind it (or hated it for different reasons), the fact that there was not, and still is not a suicide CW on S4, was completely irresponsible of Netflix and the show’s producers.
But I’m happy I managed to finish the fic and give them a nice ending, and I’m incredibly happy with how this commission turned out!!
