Our beautiful little doglet has to have spinal surgery after jumping off a footstool.
We are devastated by this news. We do not have the funds for it, and so are borrowing a LOT of money to allow our little one to have the surgery and so the best possible chance of getting through this.
I am doing a fundraiser with my new “doxtooth” designed fabric (it’s like houndstooth but better, because the design is made up of little doxies). I designed all of these myself, right here in my home. I created this design out of my love for all little long dogs, as you can see from the closeup the silhouettes include showing all three variations of the breed, and so what better way to fund-raise than to share these far and wide, in the hope that some people will like them enough to buy one or two. All items are made with my personally-designed print, it is printed on an extremely high-quality firm-stretch polyester fabric which does not become see-through when stretched, and all garments come in a very big size range, 2 - 32.
I appreciate not everyone has the funds to buy a pair of leggings etc, but maybe you know someone who might? Please share (& buy if you like them)! All the proceeds are going to our little dogfund.

Hi guys, I’m really struggling. I haven’t hardly slept because I’m constantly just stressed and anxious. I’m drowning in bills and have rent coming up this week and I know my paycheck won’t be enough to pay for it. My apartment complex isn’t lenient at all when it comes to making payments, if I don’t have it paid by the due date they will add $50 and the next day there will be an eviction notice hanging on my door. At this point I just don’t know what to do, right now I only have a part time job and it’s just not enough…it’s making my anxiety and depression so much worse than it has been lately.
If you guys don’t mind, I really need your help! If you don’t mind donating or at least sharing this it would be so much help. I’m doing everything I can just to make sure I can stay in my apartment, it unfortunately just hasn’t been enough.

for understandable and valid, if unfortunate, reasons, i haven’t been able to work properly for almost a year now. over the past few months as well, my ONE SINGLE freelance client has been touch-and-go, and in fact asked me not to do any work in february and april, meaning i had two months where i had literally no earned money. no income has come in, but bills still keep rolling in as per usual, and it is rough goings.

I hardly if ever ask for help but here I am totally stuck. Since the recent sims 4 update my ReShade shuts the game down. I tried earlier version of reshade, re download present(s), forum post sits there the last 5 days without any input with 72 view, online search gives me no answer or if yes it is not solving my problem. Okay I’m re-watching my seasons of Criminal Minds starting at season 1. Usually I start a little later at like 3 or 4. I’ve loved this show for over a decade and all of its characters (except for the last like 3 seasons because they piss me off,) but–anyway–for some reason Gideon is pissing me off…? Like maybe it’s because I know he leaves and it effects Reid for a very long time but the way he’s treating Spencer as I watch (I’m on episode… 7… I think..) is making me really angry.
Has anyone else ever has this happen?? Like I thought I loved Gideon? I still adore his profiling methods and everything but certain things are pissing me off.
Anyone have thoughts on this?? An opinion? Advice?
Also, FUN-FACT-that-I-just-realized: in the episode “L.D.S.K.” (1x6), Hotch says he’s worked with Reid for 3 years, and in “Plain Sight” (1x4), they’re celebrating Reid’s 24th birthday – which means Spencer was barely 21 when he started. Which is insane! I’m old enough now to realize how young he was when he started – like holy shit! My respect for Dr. Reid increased even more, lol.
Edit: You know what? Elle is pissing me off too. But like in the exact opposite way Gideon is? The way she treats everyone is fine and she’s absolutely beautiful as always but her profiling just seems weird all the sudden, and her personality seems…one dimensional, maybe? Almost like her “hating” (as in taking them down–be it physically or verbally–rolling her eyes, or scoffing at them) men is her only personality trait? Idk. Maybe I’m just comparing them to Rossi and Prentiss? Like obviously I prefer the latter two to the former but I thought I liked all of the characters. I could also just be annoyed at how inconsistent and incomplete the characters seem in season 1 compared to all the other seasons, but that has ALWAYS annoyed me while the Gideon and Elle thing is new. *sigh* Someone help, lol.

Most recent thought while rewatching the Criminal Minds seasons (I’m still on season one), which seems to be happening a LOT:
Does anyone else low-key ship Hotch & J.J. together during this season but not later in the show??? Like I adore their interactions. I don’t think their little conversations and moments together are supposed to seem flirty or cute but I see them that way? I wonder how long that will last? Until she’s with Will, maybe? Usually I don’t do ships where one of the people would be cheating with the other, so this surprises me. Maybe it’s because I know how Hotch’s story–and marriage–ends? I know, despite her tragically dying in the most traumatic way possible (and yes I do cry during it every time), that Hailey was a bitch to Hotch most of the time, blatantly cheated on him and didn’t really try to hide it, only took Jack and left Hotch after she had already cheated, and still acted like he was the bad guy and that she somehow didn’t realize how important his work was to him despite saying it herself in one of the first few episodes, and, lastly, is fucking annoyed, of all things!, and only thinks about how things will effect her after learning Foyet tortured Hotch and successfully separated him from his child – and all of these things make me majorly dislike Hailey. Which I guess could be the reason I keep wanting to ship Hotch with people during a time he wasn’t romantically available?
But, yeah, early season’s Hotch/J.J. pairing, anyone else agree or see this??
Oh, also, the episode “Riding the Lightning” with Sarah Jean makes me emotional and teary-eyed every. single. fucking. time.
Random Thought: Hotch smiles more in season one than in any other season, it seems. Also, Garcia not being part of the main cast at the beginning is fucking crime.
Next Criminal Minds Thought While Re-Watching:
I already said this but imma say it again. Hailey Hotchner. I REALLY dislike this bitch. (I’m towards the end of season one with the episode “Machismo” – y'know, the one where all the women of the village cut off the unsub’s dick? BADASS BITCHES – so I’ve only seen Hailey a couple times.) The way she treats Hotch bothers me a LOT. She’s so passive aggressive in this episode and uses her sister to help bully/manipulate him and make him feel bad for doing his job. I know in later episodes she uses a very young Jack against Aaron multiple times with snide comments meant to make it seem like he’s not a fantastic father.
Another Random Thought: half the time in these episodes the local police are so fucking stupid. Like, the only people who do more or worse damage at any given time is the press and/or journalists. Which is a new level of bad you do NOT wanna reach. In this episode especially, though, they act like childish, homophobic, idiots.
I’m in the middle of the second season now. And the Hotch/J.J. vibes are going strong. She’s like his partner in crime. She’s blatantly flirting with one of the cops to manipulate him into letting her re-check something and after he agrees and turns away they both turn and smirk at each other. Like they are so fucking cute!
Does anyone else see this??
Funny Thought: does anyone else look at Tobias Hankel and hear him saying “Penis, Penis, Penis. Vagina, Vagina, Vagina.” from Varsity Blues? It makes me laugh.
Okay, I dislike watching the episode “Revelations” because I hate seeing Spencer being tortured. However it has one of the best exchanges/lines in the whole series that I had completely forgotten about. Like:

J.J.: We think Tobias Hankel may have murdered his father.
TS: *proud* Good for him!
I laughed so hard. Omg. Anyway like alot of people I only watch this episode for the amazing paternal Hotch/Reid moments. Because Hotch is absolutely Spencer’s found father and nobody can convince me otherwise. The hugging scene where Spencer says, “I knew you would understand!” while near tears, visibly beaten, and barely able to walk? It kills me.Everytime.
Also in case y'all haven’t noticed Elle is gone now and Emily is here and my love for her is INSTANTANEOUS. (I say this because I KNOW that my beloved Rossi will piss me off for a little bit before he goes into being, y'know, “normal-Rossi”.)
So my current childcare job is not the greatest: they’re overworking us, dysfunctional management, ect. So I’m looking for another teaching job in case my talk with the boss doesn’t go well and they can’t promise to making things more comfortable for me.
My last school (private catholic school) is losing one of their nuns to reassignment so I COULD in theory go back and have my own class. I know I wouldn’t be overworked, I know the families and kids are nice and I would get to work with my mom (!) which would be so so fun. It’s not my most favorite age group and I’d get private catholic school benefits (not great), but I know if I committed to it for a year I could be happy there.
But to go back would mean going back in the closet for my working life, which was one of the main reasons I left. I’m not terribly flamboyantly lesbian at work, but it would be nice to be able to mention things offhandedly and not be fired.
At any rate all of this is just for another year until I have my master’s/maybe teaching license and move up in the world, so it’s not forever, whatever I chose.
So the question is: do I go back to an otherwise lovely job that I know is comfortable and fun at the expense of being gay at the Catholic school and holding my tongue at some things, or continue on in the secular world and keep trying to find something else?
…..so I think my fiancé, @kattylovesreylo , and I had a date with a friend of ours tonight???? Like…..both of us have said multiple times if we weren’t together that we’d date him and we’ve also joked that if we were poly that he’d be our third. We’ve even joked about that to him and he said he’d be “honored.” He’s been very complimentary towards us and our looks and personalities. Tonight he came over and he brought us a gift of alcohol and he also made us drinks??? And I made us all dinner???? Was this a date???? Omg tumblr please. HAAALLLLLPPPPP
So a month ago my fiancé and I moved into our first apartment and since then we’ve received a few pieces of mail for the previous tenant. No big deal right?
Well then he had a large piece of furniture delivered here too. We left the box outside our door (it was too big to be worth it to move inside) and intended to call the shipping company the next day but when we woke up the next morning the box was gone. We didn’t think anything of it.
Well then yesterday we got another box intended for him - this one was smaller so we brought it inside so we could call FedEx about it today and have them come back for it. Woke up this morning to what we thought knock on the door. Went to look and no one was there and thought okay we misheard and it wasn’t a knock it was something else. Well then we heard our little weird doorbell go off so I went to look out the door again but before I even got to the living room I see out my window some creepy old white dude standing on our patio looking in our doors. I’m assuming this was the previous tenant trying to retrieve his packages.
We’re extremely creeped out by this and feel unsafe in our apartment now. It’s been a month since we moved in - there’s no excuse for the previous tenant to not have switched his address right? There’s also no excuse for him to be creeping on our patio and looking into our home!
Not sure what to do about this except going to take the package of his to the leasing office and see what they say. Maybe they can contact him and tell him to stop this bullshit. If this keeps happening we’re just gonna keep his shit and he can fuck off.

I don’t have enough money to pay my up coming rent. I was able to what I owed last month Thanks to everyone’s help. but I’m on need of help again. my job has been cutting hours. My paycheck have gone to the other bills my lights, gas and water. and getting to work. Now I don’t have anything for rent.
I’m right back to where I was last month. I haven’t even bought any food. My daughter and I have been getting by with food banks so that’s been a huge help.

I do work. I work two jobs one full time. I never see my kid. I have a kid and I am a single mother. My rent has increased in the last two years. I can’t afford to move. I have medical needs that I have been negotiating I haven’t bought any of my medications. I’m just praying I don’t have a seizure at work. My ride to work is my dad. His truck is broken so the money I would be saving I’ve been using to get to work. My mom is in hospice the nurse costs a lot last month I had to help my sister and brother cover the cost of her nurse. So maybe just maybe people are actually out here struggling to survive.
I still no where near my goal on making rent tonight after today it’s a extra 100 dollars. . Please continue to share widely. I hope this explanation is satisfactory.
I was able to pay 400 on it I have until Saturday unless they will let me do a payment agreement and I think I will 700 right away to that. my new goal is $1021 please continue to share widely.

I do work. I work two jobs one full time. I never see my kid. I have a kid and I am a single mother. My rent has increased in the last two years. I can’t afford to move. I have medical needs that I have been negotiating I haven’t bought any of my medications. I’m just praying I don’t have a seizure at work. My ride to work is my dad. His truck is broken so the money I would be saving I’ve been using to get to work. My mom is in hospice the nurse costs a lot last month I had to help my sister and brother cover the cost of her nurse. So maybe just maybe people are actually out here struggling to survive.
I still no where near my goal on making rent tonight after today it’s a extra 100 dollars. . Please continue to share widely. I hope this explanation is satisfactory.
I was able to pay 400 on it I have until Saturday unless they will let me do a payment agreement and I think I will 700 right away to that. my new goal is $1021 please continue to share widely.
