I’ve watched “A Very Potter Sequel” and God, I wasn’t disappointed! The only thing that bothers me a little – it seems that there are more jokes… lower than the belt than it was in the first one, or is it just me? Well, I don’t have something against those jokes – just noticing. (Spoilers!) Well, they just couldn’t not show us the first year – how everybody met, got sorted, start their classes and play quidditch. We also got some Marauders’ stories. Because yes, it’s the first year, but still has so much stuff mixed – Lupin and Sirius (oh, a little Wolfstar fan in me was so happy) Umbridge and Dumbledore missing, and time travelling Malfoys… Yes! Lucious Malfoy. O. My. Devil. He’s so handsome! (I know, that it’s the same actor as Cedric Diggory) And he dances all the time! He can’t make a single simple step – all is choreographed. He also has too much eyeliner, but since Brian and Pat taught us (“Gill and Gilbert”, episode 14), that eyeliner equals magic, I think it’s reasonable. Enjoyed seeing Joe Walker (yes, I’ve learned his name) as Umbridge – he was remarkable. Fabulous. If he had spoken normally, I think, I might have even fallen for this character. Do you think I didn’t cry? Of course, you didn’t think so, you know me too well. I cried on “Guys Like Potter” because it makes me feel feelings and I shed a happy tear during the bows when the whole cast was singing “Going back to Hogwarts”. Totally watching the next part. P.S. One thing which was unclear for me was Narcissa and Dobby and how could she “choreograph an affair” with him, but then I remembered that Hagrid’s parents existed in canon and rejoiced that Dobby was at least an adult elf for sure.
Snape: Madam Umbridge, good to see you. But if you’re here, who’s guarding Hades?
Umbridge: G-
Snape: Not today, Satan! Not today!

CHAPTER UPDATE:46 || WHO ARE YOU REALLY?
… Apparently all the professors were told by Dumbledore to pass the message along to Aurelia because on the way up she passed Professor Flitwick and Professor Sinistra both tell her a similar message. And Aurelia finds herself very uneasy and angry by the time she gets to his office. She doesn’t understand why he wants to speak with her, she hasn’t done anything wrong.
Entering the office she’s met with sight of Dumbledore and Umbridge — ah, fuck this can’t be good. Aurelia shakes in both anger and nerves as Dumbledore and Umbridge leer at her, they both look feverishly excited about something and that makes Aurelia feel very queasy. She scuffs her feet against the ground, biting her lip and she wants to stand tall but she feels very small “Why am I here?”
“Did the professor who told you I needed to see you not tell you why I’ve requested to speak with you,” Dumbledore questions, sounding slightly exasperated as he spares a glance at Umbridge, Aurelia shakes her head.
Dumbledore doesn’t look like he’s going to explain but it’s not like he would get the chance to because Umbridge clears her throat and pulls out a long black envelope with the Ministry of Magic emblem on it in gold ink. …

So I finally got around to finishing this clip from the Harry Potter Order of the Phoenix audiobook. A lot of people requested Umbridge getting the verbal smack down from Mcgonagall, and I was so eager to animate this. And then half way through, I just stopped. I lost all fire to work, and didn’t want to even look at the scene anymore. But yesterday, I sat down at my computer and did all the animation for mcgonagall in one fell swoop. So… cool.
Umbridge : The earth is flat
McGonagall : No Dolores, it is round
Umbridge : Flat as a board
McGonagall : Round as a ball
Y/n : Stop body shamming the poor earth!
We could argue all day about the morality of Severus Snape but that will never stop me from loving the headcannon of alliance between Snape and McGonagall during the time of Umbridge
