#late nights
It seems to be most night
The nights are cold when you’re away.
being an adult is weird, because you start to convince yourself that the things you love doing aren’t priorities. i miss the days when i was drawing more and thinking less. i’m out of practice and full of false starts and frustration but i’m going to try to get back into some sort of habit. anyways, here’s a piece from when i was making things with my hands based on how i felt. 3:30 am, 2014.

day 18! i love the romanticism of staying up late to study, or learning something you’ve desperately wanted to try, but have never had the time for, but it’s also really important to get rest!! staying up till the crack of dawn, lit by only fairy lights or a retro desk lamp, typing away on a typewriter is incredibly dark academic, but getting 7 hours of sleep is too! don’t let the unhealthiness of our community affect you because you’re still valid even if you have a healthy sleep schedule
