I have to thank Plexus for getting me through this Hurricane! I ALwAYS get migraines in big storms! Not this time!! In fact…I haven’t had a migraine since I began my Plexus Journey! What are you suffering from!

Every evening for the past week, I suddenly get an almost violent migraine-like attack, that lasts from 2-5 hours, and then abates. I feel nauseous, my head feels like it’s going to burst, my chest burns and every sersory input hurts so so bad. It even gets a little hard ot breathe, and I have to put on my cpap just to feel like I’m getting enough air. It’s so new and terrifying, and I don’t know what to do :((

When you have a migraine and all you feel like you can stomach is maybe some chips but then you nearly misophonia rage at the chip bag:

Inspired by my friend Kristen on Instagram to do a little #bedrestmodeling. Although, not technically in bed, and as you can see, malnutrition/poor diet is taking its toll on my skin. Really, I just like to annoy the people who irrationally hate selfies and/or sick people who still find courage in their appearance! Bam!

Some Neurology HospitalGlam. My neurologist is brilliant. Treats me like an equal and partner, reasons out management and plans of action with me, takes my input at face value, never patronizes me or doubts my symptoms or reports. To top it all off, fantastically and brutally honest. From a previous appointment ‘well, there’s still a lot we don’t know about the brain, so the answer probably lies there somewhere.’ And from today 'it definitely sounds like another TIA but we’re already doing the treatment so there’s not much we’d change.’
I’ve worked damn hard to build my current medical team and they may be inexperienced with connective tissue patients, but they are pretty fine doctors.

#currentmood it’s been a pretty rough week for me. Breaking thru the fog of a flare is never easy. I desperately want to tho. My kids are on spring break next week & I don’t want to lose it to me being a zombie. I need to get out of my head too.
