#racists
By the hand of Witch Penelope, the only person God gave specific instructions to prophesy about the coming things.
To the fakers who claim Gods name, those who claimed Jesus Christ, but have ignored Gods voice, about who you should be associating yourselves with and about who you are serving.
The places you go, the places you bring your innocent children to are fortresses of the enemy. You have purposely placed your and Gods people in danger out of pure pride, you hold on to your fake beliefs. God turns His face away from your prayers. You are to Him a clashing of symbols with no rhythm.
You are about ready to be hit hard too.
In Jesus Christ holy name, Amen.
Affirmation of JEHOVAH by the hand of Witch Penelope,
The ground shakes, My voice is heard. Those who stand with the racist, violent bigots, perpetrators against the innocent as seen through America, paying lip service to them, will pay double-fold. Your judgment has just begun.
My anger shall pour out on you and your household until the day of your death. You call on My name, wearing My clothes, but stand with the disgusting enemy of the innocent. Bigots I call you! Not Mine. Fake houses of JEHOVAH, who pay lip service to those bigots will burn. My anger not quenched until each one has been judged.
Cover your own backs, and those in Gods house, or feel the wrath that is being poured out. There is no middle-ground in this situation, My judgment stands firm until the day you die. No forgiveness will be afforded you for turning away from the Holy Spirit. You act outside of My will. You and the adversary are the same. If you burn you have been judged.
Better to stand alone in righteousness, then stand with the dung who call themselves enlightened and woke.
CA releases report calling for ‘reparations’ for African Americans
Reparations and MORE bureaucracy. Governor Nuisance recommending cash for blacks with slave ancestry and is proposing opening a new government office to help people confirm their ancestry. This shit is rich y'all.
- Estimate the amount black businesses have lost in stolen or destroyed property through ’racial terror’ and distribute it back to black Californians
- Adopt mandatory curriculum for all teachers to take anti-bias training
- Recruit black educators for K-12 schools
- Provide scholarships to black high school graduates to cover four years of undergraduate at a choice school
- Compensate individuals who were forcibly removed from their homes due to state action, such as park and highway constructions
- Create funding to invest in environmental infrastructure
- Create equal access to parks and national resources in black neighborhoods
- Compensate families who were denied inheritances they would have received if they were white
- Compensate those who have been discriminated and deprived of rightful profits from artistic, creative, athletics, and intellectual endeavors
- Raise the minimum wage in predominantly black industries, such as food and agricultural
- Require scaling up the minimum wage for experienced workers
- Create a fund to support black-owned businesses and eliminate licensure barriers that harm black workers
- Compensate people whose health has been permanently damaged by anti-black healthcare
- Implement policy to close the racial wealth gap in California
- Implement a clear and detailed program to help African Americans obtain reparations
- Establish an Office of African Americans/Freedmen Affairs to help document eligibility and prevent future harm
I can’t imagine it survives a Constitutional challenge. How are you going to confiscate tax money from people who had nothing to do with slavery? Haven’t we already been paying “reparations” of one kind or another since 1861?
A personal message from Ewan McGregor.
This weekend, Star Wars fans made Obi-Wan Kenobi the most watched Disney Plus Original Series premiere of all time. And for that, I would say a big thank you, and it just goes to show what this family can do when we all pull together.
However, it seems like some of the fanbase, from this influential fanbase, have decided to attack Moses Ingram online and send her the most horrendous, racist DMs. And I heard some of them this morning and it just broke my heart.
Moses is a brilliant actor, she’s a brilliant woman, and she’s absolutely amazing in this series. She brings so much to the series, she brings so much to the franchise. And it just sickened me to my stomach to hear that this had been happening.
I just want to say, as the leading actor on the series, as the executive producer on the series, that we stand with Moses. We love Moses, and if you’re sending her bullying messages, you’re no Star Wars fan in my mind. There’s no place for racism in this world, and I totally stand with Moses.
Rick Riordan’s response to the racism and hatred directed at Leah after she was cast as Annabeth:
“Leah Jeffries is Annabeth Chase”
“This post is specifically for those who have a problem with the casting of Leah Jeffries as Annabeth Chase. It’s a shame such posts need to be written, but they do. First, let me be clear I am speaking here only for myself. These thoughts are mine alone. They do not necessarily reflect or represent the opinions of any part of Disney, the TV show, the production team, or the Jeffries family.
The response to the casting of Leah has been overwhelmingly positive and joyous, as it should be. Leah brings so much energy and enthusiasm to this role, so much of Annabeth’s strength. She will be a role model for new generations of girls who will see in her the kind hero they want to be.
If you have a problem with this casting, however, take it up with me. You have no one else to blame. Whatever else you take from this post, we should be able to agree that bullying and harassing a child online is inexcusably wrong. As strong as Leah is, as much as we have discussed the potential for this kind of reaction and the intense pressure this role will bring, the negative comments she has received online are out of line. They need to stop. Now.
I was quite clear a year ago, when we announced our first open casting, that we would be following Disney’s company policy on nondiscrimination: We are committed to diverse, inclusive casting. For every role, please submit qualified performers, without regard to disability, gender, race and ethnicity, age, color, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or any other basis prohibited by law. We did that. The casting process was long, intense, massive and exhaustive.
I have been clear, as the author, that I was looking for the best actors to inhabit and bring to life the personalities of these characters, and that physical appearance was secondary for me. We did that. We took a year to do this process thoroughly and find the best of the best. This trio is the best. Leah Jeffries is Annabeth Chase.
Some of you have apparently felt offended or exasperated when your objections are called out online as racist. “But I am not racist,” you say. “It is not racist to want an actor who is accurate to the book’s description of the character!”
Let’s examine that statement.
You are upset/disappointed/frustrated/angry because a Black actor has been cast to play a character who was described as white in the books. “She doesn’t look the way I always imagined.”
You either are not aware, or have dismissed, Leah’s years of hard work honing her craft, her talent, her tenacity, her focus, her screen presence. You refuse to believe her selection could have been based on merit. Without having seen her play the part, you have pre-judged her (pre + judge = prejudice) and decided she must have been hired simply to fill a quota or tick a diversity box. And by the way, these criticisms have come from across the political spectrum, right and left.
You have decided that I couldn’t possibly mean what I have always said: That the true nature of the character lies in their personality. You feel I must have been coerced, brainwashed, bribed, threatened, whatever, or I as a white male author never would have chosen a Black actor for the part of this canonically white girl.
You refuse to believe me, the guy who wrote the books and created these characters, when I say that these actors are perfect for the roles because of the talent they bring and the way they used their auditions to expand, improve and electrify the lines they were given. Once you see Leah as Annabeth, she will become exactly the way you imagine Annabeth, assuming you give her that chance, but you refuse to credit that this may be true.
You are judging her appropriateness for this role solely and exclusively on how she looks. She is a Black girl playing someone who was described in the books as white.
Friends, that is racism.
And before you resort to the old kneejerk reaction — “I am not racist!” — let’s examine that statement too.
If I may quote from an excellent recent article in the Boston Globe about Dr. Khama Ennis, who created a program on implicit bias for the Massachusetts Board of Registration for Medicine in Boston: “To say a person doesn’t have bias is to say that person isn’t human. It’s how we navigate the world … based on what we’re taught and our own personal histories.”
Racism/colorism isn’t something we have or don’t have. I have it. You have it. We all do. And not just white people like me. All people. It’s either something we recognize and try to work on, or it’s something we deny. Saying “I am not racist!” is simply declaring that you deny your own biases and refuse to work on them.
The core message of Percy Jackson has always been that difference is strength. There is power in plurality. The things that distinguish us from one another are often our marks of individual greatness. You should never judge someone by how well they fit your preconceived notions. That neurodivergent kid who has failed out of six schools, for instance, may well be the son of Poseidon. Anyone can be a hero.
If you don’t get that, if you’re still upset about the casting of this marvelous trio, then it doesn’t matter how many times you have read the books. You didn’t learn anything from them.
Watch the show or don’t. That’s your call. But this will be an adaptation that I am proud of, and which fully honors the spirit of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, taking the bedtime story I told my son twenty years ago to make him feel better about being neurodivergent, and improving on it so that kids all over the world can continue to see themselves as heroes at Camp Half-Blood.”

I cannot stress enough how much I love The Good Place.
The best part is that Marc Evan Jackson (who plays Shawn) doesn’t know a damn thing about Pewdiepie. The writing staff gave him that and he delivered it perfectly regardless.
Can we talk about how fucking absurd it is to actually believe that PewDiePie holds a candle to the atrocities committed by war criminals..
really? the man who is consciously introducing MILLIONS of children world wide to fascism isn’t as bad as a war criminal? he’s creating future war criminals you fucking idiot
Cite your sources, pewdiepie engages in satire. Maybe if people paid attention in school, you would know the different between being a neo-nazi and making satirical content.
We live in a world where a guy paying poor people to hold up a sign saying “death to all jews” while jews face hate crimes around the world and a person can UNIRONICALLY call that satire and say that OTHER people need to go back to school for not knowing what satire is.
Just let that sink in.
the good place has a morality system which is based on impact, not intent. by citing pewdiepie, the show isn’t commenting on if he’s “actually” racist or not; the show is pointing out that his actions put more harm into the world than good. regardless of his “true intentions,” by paying someone to hold a “death to all Jews” sign and promoting channels that support white supremacy, he has done more harm than good.
and before anyone complains about how “he raised money for charities” or whatever, that doesn’t negate the harm he’s done elsewhere (especially given the whole fiasco with his recent “attempt” to donate to adl. regardless of your opinion on whether it was right or wrong to cancel the donation, there’s no denying that white supremacists felt, once again, emboldened by his actions).
this “impact vs. intent” morality actually goes pretty well with the claims his fans make that these acts are satire. anyone who studies literature could tell you that true satire, effective satire, mocks oppressors/the powerful by mimicking them to such an absurd degree that no one can mistake what they say for agreement. people generally cite jonathan swift’s “a modest proposal” for a reason — he calls attention to starvation in ireland by suggesting they eat babies. it’s absurd and appalling, exposing how poorly the english treated the irish.
this is why pewdiepie’s actions are not satire. he doesn’t seem to be mocking antisemites; he’s simply behaving the same way. that’s not satire. that’s just being a white supremacist. paying people to hold a sign and promoting a channel are not big, ridiculous actions that obviously point to satire. using the n-word when you’re mad at a game is not satire. those aren’t big, ridiculous actions that clearly mock those who hold those views.
that’s just supporting those views, plain and simple.
and that’s the point the good place is making. even if his fans are correct and he’s being satirical, he’s still harming people. he’s still exposing people to antisemitism, using the n-word, and exposing kids to channels that promote white supremacy. he’s creating a place for white supremacists to find each other and feel emboldened to share their views with children.
so that’s what this means. he has put a lot of bad into the world, and no defense of “it’s a joke!” negates that.
PERIOD!! you articulated your point so well
Also:none of these people are considered unambiguously evil in the world right now
Elizabeth Holmes was the youngest female “self-made billionaire” ever who started a medical technology company.
Henry Kissinger was head of the National Security Council and secretary of state under Nixon and Ford and was awarded a freaking Nobel Peace Prize.
And PewDiePie is the most subscribed-to Youtuber in the world.
These aren’t traditional villains who are universally despised, and regardless, the fact that PewDiePie isn’t widely considered to be particularly evil is what makes this a joke. A pointed one.
Holmes committed massive medical fraud, Kissinger perpetuated war and crimes against humanity, and PewDiePie is an unabashed antisemite and white nationalist - who literally shared a video of protestors being murdered in the car attack at Charlottesville - for his audience of young kids. These are all people who are pretty difficult to defend, and yet plenty of people, particularly powerful people, are happy to bend over backwards in order to do so.
And this show doesn’t pull its punches. That’s a big reason people love it.
Much as the blasting of PewDiePie is important, here’s the Wikipedia page on Elizabeth Holmes if, like me, you had never once heard of her or her crimes (and subsequent conviction) until this post.
tl;dr:In January 2022 she was convicted on multiple counts of wire fraud for lying about the effectiveness of a blood testing method owned by her company – a company whose investors included, I kid you not, the Walton family, the Cox family, the DeVos family, Rupert Murdoch, fucking Carlos Slim of all people, and, yes, Henry Kissinger.
The worst people in the world tend to fly in a very small orbit around each other and attract people they deserve.
You won’t be surprised by the amount of racist Karen’s I’ve been dealing with since George’s murder. As someone who is very outspoken about equality, I have pissed off a lot of people over the past week and a half.
And I’m proud.
Because if I’m getting comments like: “You’re being racist towards white people” and “Deal with your internalized racism” comments, then I’m doing something right.
me looking at the thousands of completely sfw posts that tumblr has already flagged
So as some of you may know, I was Phantom Strider’s captioner. WAS!
He isn’t a good person. By any stretch. And I’m not going to lie about anything I’m saying here. So feel free to spread the word on this.
First thing, and this is a recent thing I learned back in December: He might be racist. The only two people he called intimidating are both Asian Women. I’d buy it if it turned out he was.
Now, onto his other shit. He was inappropriate with an artist of his in DM’s, which she showed me. And then he tried to paint her as the one who was forward/inappropriate. Particularly to me, trying to gaslight me into thinking she’s someone either malicious or mentally ill. She’s not malicious, and the mental illness she does struggle with wouldn’t make her act that way.
Next, that same artist of his never was credited properly. If anything, he treated her like a FAN ARTIST. Not as his actual paid artist. And when a 2 year old grudge from a bunch of dumb kids popped up, stuff that she has done her best to (and successfully had) grown past from, he fired her without telling her, and had me tell her for him.
Now as for me, I was his captioner for almost two years. No, seriously, this month would’ve made it two years. When I decided to ask his mods for their takes, the two women who are his mods both were relatively calm. The boy who’s his mod didn’t ask to be left alone to me. That boy went to Strider, and Strider said to not talk to the boy about the situation because THE BOY IS A MINOR! Why would anyone think it’s sensible to have a minor as a mod on a Discord server with NSFW channels? No, not mod-in-training, but actual full Moderator.
Now I found out from a screen shot floating around that he removed me from his video staff without telling me. I’ve given him multiple chances to tell me I was fired. He still hasn’t.
Phantom Strider is a piece of shit. I hope his fucking channel goes up in smoke. And of note, at the time, I had a screen name of Mighty Mongrel on Discord.
