Ron: Hermione, do you think in an alternate reality, we’d still be together?
Hermione: Don’t be ridiculous, Ronald. There’s no such things as an alternate reality But if there were, of course we would be. We’d live on a houseboat on the Seine, and you would paint watercolors and sell them along the Left Bank, and we would have a bit of land in the south where I would keep bees and sell fancy French honey.
Ron: You’ve given this some thought, have you?
Hermione: No more than usual.

Hermione shook her head. “I don’t know if I will. It’s bad enough I’m doing horrible in all my classes.”
Ron’s eyebrows rose. The only teacher who hadn’t been impressed with Hermione was Professor Snape. Flitwick had been filled with praise. Hermione must have been remembering a different class.
“Hermione,” Ron said somewhat confused. “It’s only our first day. And Flitwick was really impressed with your charmwork. And Snape is a foul git. All my brothers told me so. And I can help you with your flying if you want.”
Hermione’s eyes lit up. “Really? Would you?”
Ron didn’t know where that had come from. His plan had been to avoid Hermione, but she looked genuinely upset and he supposed he couldn’t help himself.
“Sure,” he replied knowing there was no way out now. “We can sneak out to the Pitch after Astronomy class tomorrow.”
Am I the only one who thinks that Hermione and Ron wouldn’t approve of Scorpius and Hermione dating?
I feel like this is unrealistic. Like these people were complicit in the war that nearly got them all killed, not to mention killed three relatives and so many others. Like as protective as they would be, do you think they’d let Rose step foot in Malfoy Manor, where they were captured and Hermione tortured?
Not that Scorpius is to blame for any of that but I feels like neither Ron or Hermione would be okay with this. And honestly if Rose knew half the stories I don’t think she’d go near him.
This is just one of the many reasons I hate cursed child.
Rose: Uncle Harry, can you quiz me? I’ve made special flash cards and a rewards system to help myself memorize Hogwarts: A History. If I get 5 questions right, I get a handful of Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans. If I get 10 right, I get three Chocolate Frogs, and if I get 20 right, I get two slices of treacle tart.
Harry: *silently wondering how someone can be so Hermione and so Ron at the same time* No problem, moppet.
