Hey guys! I had a lovely day today. I took an one hour walk with my sister, wrote some things down in my journal and I studied. I am going to continue studying tort law and after that call my boyfriend and then go to sleep. I am going to try to sleep earlier from now on.
I also made a story board for next Sunday’s video!! It’s going to be about making a planning for your exams and how I do this!

I have a little more than a week to prepare my exams and I am super busy to do as much as I can, so I am sorry if I haven’t answered your DM or something yet. Tonight I am going to relax, take some time to regain my strength and sleep

So this place offers free coffee refills. ‘Nough said.
Today’s café study session was spent by revising for my endocrinology exam which is next friday. Later I’ll be meeting up with my big brother and his girlfriend for dinner to celebrate his 22nd birthday. Then I’ll probably revise some more before going to bed, or I might meet up with some class mates to do flashcards (which is also revision I suppose).

You know when it’s really late, you’re about to go to bed, then you realize that you’re travelling back home to campus tomorrow and are therefore unable to study. Yeh… Same.
Catching up with tomorrow’s school work before going to sleep: the menstrual cycle.

7/02/2021 I’ve been working on my notion databases to keep track of my grades all morning while it snows! I only have a few marks back at the moment and I’m currently averaging about 77(?) so that’s good but I feel so much pressure to keep it up. I’ve been getting to grips with notion and I’m really liking it for some things; you can see all of my databases to the left. 20.07.19 | Today I started my schedule for the next semester of college. I’m gonna start my August layout of my bujo (this picture is the July layout) but I’m really lazy, I don’t feel like doing anything today, except to watch Stranger Things.
Hello study friends
Tomorrow starts the orientation for my Zweitstudium and I’m honestly excited! Can’t wait to be on campus again after… 2 years or something? And to meet new people and learn new stuff ✌️
I’ll start with German literature studies (Germanistik) now and Skandinavian studies in winter. Fingers crossed!
On the translator front: I’m working on my third manga, published an article and did subtitles for a YouTube video and the first manga translation will be published in May! Also very exciting, ahhh. Everything is exciting and tiring at the moment, haha.
This is a summary of mine:
- started studying japanology & art history (bachelors degree) in 2012
- studying japanology (master) from 2016
- semester abroad in Tokyo in 2017 (best time of my life!)
- worked as a student assistant 2018-19
- held talks, events and published articles from 2019 - today
- worked as marketing assistant for an anime company 2019-2021
- 2021 finished my masters degree with 1,3 (1,0 is the best you can have in Germany, hihi)
- 2021 November started freelancing as a Japanese-German translator (exciting!!)
- 2022 starting my Zweitstudium in german language and scandinavian studies. Because why not?
What a wild ride of ten years of learning and writing already!

Yay, got the official letter and information from university for my “Zweitstudium” (second degree bachelor) starting in April.
If I get into all the courses I want, I will only have to go to uni on Tuesday and Wednesday. The other days are for preparing classes and my translator work. At least that’s the plan ✨
