Day 2 of my 48hr stats exam, I’m basically done and it wasn’t as bad as I expected it to be. Ready to get that out of the way and get on with my essay due at the end of the month

I had a very productive few days but not all of it was academic. My partner and I entered a dancesport comp in Blackpool and so we had to learn a new routine (Covid and Christmas messed up our lesson plan) and then competed with it less than 24hrs later. We danced a category up from what we compete at on the uni circuit and weren’t expecting to do too well but we made the finals of both ballroom and latin!

Now I’m back at my flat and about to start a 48hr stats exam. Looks like I’ll be working from home a bit more but sadly without the wonderful views I had last year

Money Making Apps for Broke Uni Student

I’ve recently become super focused on finance and how best to save money and put myself in a good position going forwards. I wanted to share some of the apps I have found with you all in the hopes it helps you out!

• Honey — this is a browser extension that locates promo codes for online purchases. You also accumulate points for shopping on certain websites and can use these to get gift cards (I got a $30 supermarket gift card recently)! • Shopback — similar points system to Honey where you receive a percentage of your purchase back from certain websites! Love this one as you don’t only get the offer of redeeming as gift cards, but can actually have the money put into your bank account. • Spaceship and Raiz are both micro-investing apps. I won’t attempt to explain these in detail but if you’ve ever been interested in investing / buying shares but haven’t known where to start, these are a great introduction! They let you invest small amounts (like, $5 small) and are really simple!
