#vegan ice cream

First time having this flavor of Halo Top and let me say it did not disappoint.

Had the most delicious ice cream at Love Creamery in Duluth. I got the vegan peanut butter chocolate. Perfect blend of sweet chocolate and salty peanut butter . I got mine in a vegan gluten free house made waffle cone (like whaaattt? That’s awesome! And oh so delicious! )

I thought I’d miss ice cream when I went vegan. But I didn’t, which surprised me at the time, but maybe that says something about dairy not being necessary for noms.

This base uses bananas. Just bananas. You can add whatever you want to it though.

Method

Chop up bananas - if you use older bananas the flavour will be stronger.

Freeze them

Put the pieces in a blender. Blend till smooth.

Serve.

Different flavours

Chocolate - Add some cocoa and vanilla essence.

Nuts - Add some nuts. Cashew nuts and pistachio nuts are good. Depending on how you want the texture, add at the start or finish.

Coconut - Add some coconut cream or melted coconut oil (I won’t be doing this myself until I can find a source that isn’t linked to animal cruelty. Don’t add too much or it’ll go runny.

Vanilla - Add a little non dairy milk and some vanilla essence.

Berries - Nom.

Caramel - Blend up some dates soaked in water to make a thick caramel flavoured sauce, and stir it through, or just add it to the blender with the bananas.

Storing

If you want to store the ice cream in the freezer, but aware that it melts faster than dairy ice cream, but reacts in much the same way - let it melt and freeze it again, it goes like ice. So put it in the freezer quickly. You can just blend it again though for the same result.

Chocolate nicecream

Ingredients:

- 4 frozen bananas

- 2 tbsp cacao powder

“Apfelküchle” (apple fritter rings) with cinnamon and almond salted caramel ice cream

Cookies and cream ice cream, brownie, hot fudge, marshmallow… sundae!!! I am so addicted it’s becoming a problem

HUGE NEWS from Vegansaurus #1 Pasadena Informant, Dan:

I was at a Target in Pasadena California and I saw new vegan products from Haagen Dazs.

In addition to the flavors in the photo – Peanut Butter Chocolate Fudge, Coconut Caramel, Chocolate Salted Fudge Truffle, and Mocha Chocolate Cookie. I have not seen it mentioned on any other vegan websites and I looked on Haagen Dazs’ website and they do not mention this product, so maybe Pasadena is some kind of test market.

WHAT IS GOING ON!? Who else knows about this! Answers MUST BE HAD!!!

UPDATE:Haagen Dazs has now listed the Non-Dairy flavors on their website. They’re not marked as vegan but our trusty source says that they are!

I had to spend three hours at the dentist (and I’ll have to go back twice more), I stayed at work until 7pm, I had to piss myself in public, I Skyped with The Fascist for the first time (he made me wear nipple clamps, move around with the big dildo in my ass, lick it clean, and then put a condom over it and fuck my cunt with it), and then, while I was coming down from all that, his lovely girl messaged me calling me a slut and whore pretending to be pissed at me for playing with her boyfriend (I thought she was just playing but since I was coming down, I got uncertain about it and wasn’t as sure as I normally would have been. Well played.) I’m exhausted.

And now I’m going to have some much-needed introvert time and not respond to messages for a little while. Instead, I’m going watch Leverage and eat the soup that Puppy made me and eat the most delicious vegan ice cream treat ever.
