Perhaps I don’t speak the only language I know so goodSo today I didn’t want to deal with public transportation and I wanted a few extra winks of sleep, so send in the Uber.
*Deep breath* so I order my first Uber, I do pool cause you know the environment and I’m being
cheapfiscally responsible. The driver is about 9 minutes away and he’s either picking up or dropping someone off. About 5…
I wish I could say this isn’t a normal thing to see in NYC subway stations…
You get to see some beautiful oddities in the city but most of the time we rush by them. I hope that I don’t become that New Yorker who is jaded and numb to the city’s eccentric weirdos. Without them you can’t question life and your choices, like what do they do that they can afford to live in the city, is this what…

I have a great appreciation for people with genuine creative integrity—not just artists, but all those who turn inward for their ideas, expressing actual original thoughts, running with their outlandish inspirations, standing in their own unique truths—often despite a complete lack of acceptance from others!
It can be tough to stay sure and balanced out on the bleeding edge. It can feel absolutely insane. This is normal while waking up to your authentic nature, while letting go of the inhumane structures you’re told to build your entire precious life around. It can feel strange and lonely at first.
But there is complete liberation on the other side. Just hold on a little while longer. Keep releasing all the old emotions and beliefs from your previous life until all but the single truth of your being is burned away.
It might seem easier to just take the regular path. To just consume and regurgitate what already exists. To just take that mood board of stolen art and remix it, or to hide in the safety of preexisting mainstream opinions, trends, and traditions. But that’s not what you’re here to do. And it’s not worth the way your soul gradually erodes away.
I hope all of you flaming trailblazers out there remember to relax, to love yourself fiercely and deeply, and to follow the inspiration of your inner guidance alone. We need you as you are, despite how isolating it can be. We really, deeply, need you. Without you the world has nowhere to go, and no one to take them there. Without you the world is blind.
