The main goal was funded in under 24 hours and we’ve unlocked many of the designs!

If I see one more post about Cancer = Mother hen, Mom friend, my mom tbh, cooks like mom I’m gonna flip!
Because “nurturing” doesn’t mean “Mother”.
Cancer’s will be there for you, be a shoulder to cry on, be kind, friendly, care about you so much that it’s easy to make this mistake, but I’ve seen so many people take advantage of Cancer’s including myself- believing they can mess shit up and never worry because Cancer will stay with them. Believing that a Cancer will always “Baby” them like the big ass babies they act like.
Because while a mother will stay by your side through thick and thin because you are her child, Cancer will destroy you if you betray them, don’t appreciate them, or hurt them. Cancer will LEAVE if they don’t feel loved. They don’t HAVE to nurture you, and they don’t have to put up with your disrespect or teach you a lesson. They don’t have to stop themselves from beating your ass. They don’t have to stop themselves from calling you a bitch if you’re acting like one. They don’t have to- and DON’T do a lot of things a real mother does.
A mother’s love is unconditional. Cancer’s love is something we take away if it isn’t reciprocated in any way whatsoever based on your actions.
So no. We are not like yo Mommas.

I made this a long time ago and i just wanna add that there’s literally way more to the sign Cancer than being “the nurturer” and I’m tired of people side-stepping it. If you study astrology do your due dilligence and actually make an effort to understand each sign beyond the oversimplified and stereotipical versions y'all claim to be above.

I started this for Chinese New Year but did not have time to finish it. So also happy year of the Tiger! I had been rewatching Fruits Basket and it felt like it was a good time to draw these two!
