Naturalistic strawberry black nagoya obi, paired with a quiet geometrical komon kimono (which from afar kinda look like basket weave pattern).
Strawberry picking time is around the corner, I feel this outfit is a lovely nod to this family activity :)

Most beautiful Maiko cherry blossoms kanzashi hairpin by Kazurasei. I love how the silver blossoms add depth top the design, it must be so pretty gliterring in the light!

Kei Hirabayashi one again delivering a killer look and demonstrating how nice furisode can look on a man :D I love how long sleeves emphasized his height without looking too “willowy” thank to denim fabric heavy drape.

Lacy accents for this furisode juban by DoubleMaison.
This style (with lace only on some parts) is a great DIY idea if you don’t have a furisode juban/have a too short one as you only have to sew on easy parts (rectangles yeah!). Placement also save on material as pretty lace is so pricey.

Kimono lover Muu’s lovely graduation ceremony outfit, beautifully shot among cherry trees in bloom. Colors nicely match the blue sky and pale pink flowers it’s so soothing <3

Super chic kimono outfit, with a soft pink tsukesage (houmongi?) with lovely black patterns with just the right hints of colors, paired with that AMAZING obi.
I didn’t know about that technique, but those are called mugetsu obi (lit. “moonless sky” obi), and this style was first used to decorate shawls. The patterns are made by sewing on cord-like trim in appliqué:
