So I don’t announce when I’m going to be trying out a healthier eating life cause since people want you to fail, and apparently so does Universe. So what happens when I get to work and I’m like I’m cutting down sugar and whatnots a box of cookies is literally handed to me.

moving is hard guys, my back feels broken but we finally got the keys and are moving (all my mainly) stuff into our new flat. change is scary and being a adultish is even scarier but i’m ready for this new period in my life. hope you are all having a wonderful start to my favourite month
Pour one out for me, lads, I’ve joined the ranks of those who have had a boss who was informed that I have ADHD, anxiety, and depression, and didn’t want to deal with the negative aspects of me having any of those, or have my back on them for more than the bare minimum effort. -_-*
Though, that said… sucks to be her, because this Saturday she’s going to be getting a two-weeks’-notice from one of her best employees, who she’s so glad to have (aka, me, her words). Have fun running the store with only six other people, bitch.
Update: resignation turned in and boss lady has been notified of it. Also, karma has bitten her in the butt, because it turns out? Friday her best cashier (aka my favorite coworker), turned in her own two-weeks notice. So boss lady’s just had two of her top employees resign within two days, and it’s a crap situation for her, but I can’t help feeling rather smug about it. Especially because said coworker mentioned to me that one of the reasons she’s leaving is that they seriously don’t pay us enough for the amount of work we do, which I have told boss lady is probably part of why we can’t hold onto new hires only for her to repeatedly go “Noooooo, that can’t possibly be it.” Last time I mentioned it, she said they’re probably just intimidated by how solid and talented a team we are, and we need to be more supportive of them.
This woman either doesn’t live in the same reality as the rest of us or is in horrifically deep denial, and I honestly can’t tell which.
Anyway, on to the good things: today (Sunday) is my last day that I’ll have to share the floor with my least favorite coworker (does not respect your boundaries, does expect you to 100% respect their boundaries, overshares at the drop of a hat, and obnoxiously oblivious (are they a big part of why I’m leaving this job? Yes.)). And Thursday is my last day.
Also, even more positive, I have a job interview on Friday for the place where my younger sister works! She knows I applied and is okay with it, we’ll be working in different areas if I get the job, and she says that one of the good things about this place is that the management genuinely has your back. Also, I can work less hours and still earn more than I was making at the old job, so if I get hired I can start nice and gentle.
I was hoping to be able to go to @ohayocon this year, but we’re not sure if we’ll be able to due to finances. If we do, we’ll hopefully see you all on Saturday! We’ve been to this con every year since ‘12 and it’s actually where I first started cosplaying!
