synopsis: after turning down every christmas party invitation out of habit (except for the obligatory one his agency put on every year) shoto realizes he is in fact alone on christmas. he managed to not throw out the invitation for his apartment building’s party, so he finds himself there for the evening, thinking he’ll just steal some complimentary cookies and call it a night. He finds himself spending the day much better than expected, despite being by himself this year.

a/n: merry christmas if you celebrate and happy holidays!! I hope you guys like this <3

In retrospect, his situation really was really his own fault.

Every single one of his friends had invited him to some sort of Christmas party. Well, any friends that were currently in the country. His closest three friends had all gone abroad and were spending Christmas there, flying their families in as surprises. It was incredibly sweet, but it did not keep Shoto from deadpanning to them that he had been “abandoned.” Thankfully, as the foundations of his humor, his friends all laughed at his lack of enthusiasm and saw through his bad pout and wished him happy holidays. Shoto had never been very good at sarcasm, even all these years later.

His other friends, bless them, had all invited him to holiday parties. “It’s fun to go to all of them,” Kirishima had explained when Shoto had asked how it was possible to RSVP to every single one of them, as he and Denki had been doing right in front of him during their get-together at the bar they all liked two weeks ago. “Last year Denki and I managed to go to all of them twice!”

As he listened to their stories he’d decided he would not be participating. It seemed way too overwhelming for him, even on a day where he’d had three cups of coffee. No one took any offense, which Shoto had been very concerned about. But everyone who invited him knew him enough to understand his reasoning, which led to him feeling excellent about turning down every invitation until he realized, as he was at his agency’s yearly Christmas Eve party, that he had no party to go to tomorrow.

Shoto thought about calling his siblings, but instantly shut that idea down. They all had their own families to be with, and he really didn’t feel like being the odd uncle on Christmas. Plus he was pretty sure they’d caught on to the fact that he’dbeen the one to give everyone the cold at Thanksgiving, and he really did not want to be harassed about that.

For now, he decided, scanning the agency with careful eyes. He’d hunt for leftovers to take home with him.

Which meant he’d have to be the last one standing. He eyed his coworkers, sizing them up as threats. Some of them were already tipsy. He took a class of whatever was being served for himself and chugged it quickly, knowing he’d need a little alcohol in his system in order to survive however long this social event chose to be.

An hour and a half later, after he’d helped clean up and offered to take the leftovers with him, he successfully made his way home, not able to keep the small smile off his face. The leftovers were some finger sandwiches he’d grown very fond of, a bottle of sparkling cider, and half of a cheesecake. No Christmas cookies, but that was excusable. He’d look for some tomorrow. Plus, his leftover hunt was more of an odd tradition Shoto had started at every party he went to. Sometimes he failed, but more often than not he was successful. People were always more than willing to get rid of leftover food that would just sit in their fridge for a week, untouched.

The doorman of his apartment building helped him open the doors for him, which he thanked him for gratefully.

Skillfully balancing his treasures on one arm as he pressed the elevator button for his floor, Shoto saw the flyer for the Holiday party to be held in the lobby tomorrow evening. The art of the cookies is what caught his eye the most, and as he scanned the flyer he saw the bolded words: “Cookies will be provided.

“Cookies?” he heard someone quietly say beside him. He jumped, almost dropping his things in shock before quickly regaining his composure.

“Sorry!” they cried, reaching forward as though to catch the things in his arms, dropping their arms to their side in relief when nothing fell. “I’m sorry.”

“That’s alright,” he replied. “I’m quite excited for the promise of cookies, too.”

Y/N—that was their name, Shoto wasn’t the type of hoodlum to forget the name of his own neighbor—smiled at him, almost nervously.

He resisted the urge to frown at himself. Most people thought he was too scary to approach, which was something he’d grown accustomed to over the years. Didn’t mean he liked it very much, though.

Thankfully, Y/N didn’t seem to be one of those people.

“Sorry, do you need help carrying that?” they asked, already moving to take the top two containers away from his pile, leaving him with the remaining two.

“Oh, thank you,” Shoto said, stepping into the newly arrived elevator with them and hitting the button for their floor.

“So, do you think you’ll be going to take advantage of the free cookies?” Y/N asked as the elevator made its journey upwards. And for once, Shoto wasn’t dreading the painstakingly slow speed the elevator went at. Y/N really was quite pleasant to be around, he quickly came to remember.

“Probably,” Shoto replied. “Will you?”

Y/N shrugged. “Most likely.”

If you go, I definitely will, was what Shoto wanted to say. But it sounded like something he’d tell his friends when he was younger when they both wanted to go do something but needed motivation to do so.

The elevator arrived at their floor, and Y/N patiently waited for Shoto to unlock his apartment and set down the things he was carrying on his table before handing what they were carrying over. Too late, he realized in horror his rude mistake.

“Oh I’m sorry, come in,” he hurriedly said, praying it wasn’t too late and that Y/N didn’t think he was the worst person in the world and that any chance of them sharing Christmas cookies was ruined all because he’d forgotten his manners. Fuyumi and Katsuki would be ashamed of him, being the siblings they were.

“Oh, no, that’s okay!” Y/N rushed. “I’ll see you tomorrow in the lobby!”

And with that they were gone, disappearing into their own apartment after giving Shoto another smile he had quickly grown to like.

Shoto went to sleep and arose the next morning feeling very excited for Christmas, a feeling he’d missed. He had his cup of hot chocolate in the morning while he watched the news and flipped through the channels before finding a cheesy holiday movie, and then settled in to open packages.

Some he’d ordered for himself, some had been shipped by family and friends. From Izuku he got a new pair of gloves (a running joke they had), from Ochaco a lovely keychain of a mini chibi version of himself, from Tenya a gorgeous planner for next year. Katsuki had gotten him a knife sharpener (Shoto laughed at that. He did have dull kitchen knives). Denki got him a delightfully horrible Christmas sweater, Kiri a new set of weights decorated to fit his quirk.

By the time he’d opened everything and put them in their respective places, it was only 10AM. He still had the whole day ahead of him. And Christmas cookies.

Since he’d worked on Christmas last year, this was the year he had the day off. So he spent the day in his apartment, called his siblings to wish them a Merry Christmas, watched cheesy holiday movies, and made himself his favorite foods.

When 6PM rolled around Shoto was already ready and heading towards the elevator, smiling to himself when he realized Y/N was already there, waiting for it.

They smiled and waved at him, grin growing when they noticed his new Christmas sweater. They were sporting one of their own.

“Apparently the apartment complex owners do this every year,” Y/N said as they entered the elevator, which was surprisingly full of other neighbors. They all nodded in greeting, offering smiles. Shoto loved Christmas, since it put people in good moods like these.

“Oh yes,” an upstairs neighbor said. A nice old lady Shoto usually helped with her groceries. “They do it so we won’t complain about small things they change, like the elevator music or the plants in the lobby. Keeps us happy.” He and Y/N shared a small smile as their neighbors chatted amongst themselves before they all arrived in the lobby.

The lobby was decked out, Christmas tree and all. There were even small gifts waiting for each of them (a hand towel, but a rather nice one, Shoto realized upon further inspection). He and Y/N mingled among the residents. Shoto was glad they stuck together. He was still a little drained from all the socializing he’d done yesterday—having a partner in it all helped his energy levels significantly.

It was like an unsaid agreement between the two of them, to be joined at the hip for the whole night. He found himself having a lot of fun, eating cookies and talking with the neighbors. A lot of them would shyly converse with him, a few little kids asked for autographs. It was hard not to feel the infectious spread of joy that was created with the Christmas lights all around him, with Feliz Navidad playing in the background, with Y/N, his newfound friend, smiling with him the whole evening.

As far as he was concerned, this was a great way to spend Christmas.

a/n:this is entirely self indulgent and came to me in a grocery store parking lot as i was eating my costco chicken bake bc i get one almost every time i go to costco and im scared the cute worker will start to recognize me so here this is lsjfklasjdlkfjsdlkfj. is this a crack fic??? have i finally written one? who knows. this is so niche ong asdklfjsadlfss also this is my 100th post!!!!!

It’s been three months since Y/N accepted their role as the Costco card holder, and they had gone to said store a total of eight times. Eight.

Y/N blamed their roommates. Nejire has so much hair that she loves to take care of, and she sends Y/N on shampoo runs routinely. Tamaki likes the snacks they have, and Y/N finds it very hard to say no to him when he willingly does their share of the chores whenever Y/N goes on Costco runs.

And Nejire always makes breakfast for them, so Y/N feels obligated to do much of the shopping for the three of them. They don’t really mind—going on errands by themselves feels oddly therapeutic. They always go an hour before closing time, since that’s when their shift at the student center on campus ends.

Today’s trip is on a Friday, and Y/N feels almost embarrassed to push by people to get to the food court.

They’d ordered their usual chicken bake, plus ice creams for the kids (Nejire and Tamaki). They carefully glanced at each of the workers, fearing for the familiar friendly face that always seemed to be there whenever Y/N had a Costco run.

They didn’t know his name, because each time he wore a different one. They’d noticed all of the food court workers did that—interchanged name tags, sometimes right in front of customers. Y/N thought it was funny.

“Number 242! Number 242!”

Damn.

Y/N plastered a smile onto their face (completely genuine, despite their previous thoughts). Today the blond guy’s name was “Oliver.” He smiled as he handed Y/N their chicken bake and pushed forward the ice creams. “Have a nice day!”

“Thanks, you too!” Y/N hurried away back to their cart and began to speed walk toward the exit. It was ridiculous, really. A crush on someone they rarely saw. But every interaction left them with their heart fluttering. And they hadn’t had a crush in a while. It was nice to feel like that again.

“Back already!” Nejire cheered when Y/N knocked on the apartment door, taking her ice cream out of Y/N’s hands and giving them a very wet kiss on the cheek, which both Y/N and Tamaki cringe at. Nejire just laughs, going back to her spot on the couch, where she has set up her study station and has multiple papers strewn all over the coffee table in front of her. She carefully set down her ice cream before heading out the door to help unload the groceries. Tamaki thanked Y/N for his ice cream and followed Nejire out the door.

They lived on the first floor of the building, so grocery shopping is never followed by the dread of hauling everything upstairs. Nejire’s green car is also the perfect size for Costco runs, and Y/N loves driving it—another reason they are not so mad about being the designated errand-person.

After everything is sorted away, Y/N sat down with Tamaki at the small kitchen table to eat their chicken bake as he carefully ate his ice cream. Nejire remained on the couch at her study station, occasionally sighing loudly.

“He was there again,” Y/N said through a mouthful of their chicken bake. Nejire had gotten up to stretch and sauntered over to the table to join them, halfway through her ice cream. She brightens at Y/N’s statement, and Tamaki pauses in his ice cream eating for a second.

“Ooh was he as cute as ever?” Nejire teased. Y/N almost choked on their chicken bake, Tamaki reaching over to pat them on the back, although more in a sympathetic way.

“I regret telling you that I thought he was cute,” Y/N groaned.

“We can ask Mirio to poke around and find out who he is!” Nejire chirped, eating another spoonful of ice cream. “Pretty sure he works at a different Costco, but he could still find out somehow!”

Y/N shook their head. “It’s just a crush.”

And that was that until their next Costco run, a few weeks later.

This time he was named “Haru.” And he struck up a conversation, since Y/N was the only one at the food court.

They’d gone early that day, since it was a Saturday and they wanted to beat the rush of other shoppers. They’d been the first on in the store, and apparently everyone else was still shopping, because they were also the first food court order.

“Busy day?” He asked, leaning on the counter in front of him, leaning his chin into his hand. Ridiculously pretty smile on his face. God Y/N was whipped.

“Not much after this,” Y/N replied, fiddling with their receipt. He hummed in acknowledgement, straightening when their coworker started placing the finished food on the appropriate racks.

“Here you go!” He handed them their chicken bake. “No ice cream today?”

“No, not today,” Y/N said, setting their chicken bake carefully onto their cart. They felt like they shouldn’t walk away just yet.

“Well, see you,” he said after a pause. Y/N waved goodbye before walking away, hearing the other food court worker shout something at the guy, who quickly shushed her. Y/N glanced curiously back to see him looking at them, and then quickly duck below the counter. The other worker gave Y/N a little wave, which Y/N slowly returned before rushing out of the store.

They thought about it the entire ride home, naturally. They unloaded the groceries with Tamaki, who was the only one at the apartment since Nejire was working. Since he was so quiet they unloaded in silence, although he did look as though he wanted to ask if something was wrong. He settled for offering to make them a smoothie to eat with their chicken bake, and Y/N brightened considerably.

“Yo, Mirio!”

“Hey Nejire!”

He hopped into her car with ease, buckling up as she sped out of the Costco parking lots. She’d offered him a ride back to his dorm, since she had told him she was studying at a nearby Starbucks after she’d gotten off her own shift at her job.

“How’s work?” Nejire asked as she drove, reaching over to take a sip of her drink while steering with the other hand expertly. Mirio had long stopped worrying about Nejire’s driving habits. She’d gotten a perfect score on her driver’s exams, and had successfully avoided three car crashes. Plus her car was ridiculously cute and well kept, and Mirio knew she’d never dare the risk of wrecking it.

“It’s good,” Mirio replied, shifting in his seat.

“That’s good! Roomie Y/N went grocery shopping there today,” Nejire said. “They always see this cute dude working there, but they’re too shy to say anything, bless their adorable little heart.”

Y/N. Nejire and Tamai often speak of them, and despite having mutual friends, he’s never met them. He knows they’d like them, by what he’s heard. Every time he hangs out with Nejire and Tamaki, Y/N is always busy working or has extra curriculars. Which he understands all too well.

“And how’s swimming going, Mirio? Got yourself a date yet? I’ve heard people thirst over swimmers all the time, how are you not dating anyone? Is it your hair? I can cut it for you!”

They fell into an easy conversation after that. Nejire was always easy to talk to, and Mirio felt terrible that he didn’t hang out with her and Tamaki as much as he used to. It was bad enough that he couldn’t room with them, since he had to live with the other athletes on campus. But swim and work took up all of the free time he had. The rest was filled with homework and classes.

“Bye Mirio! Hand out with us soon, you still have to meet Y/N!” Mirio thanked her for the ride and climbed out of the car, noticing a stray receipt that fell to the ground as he shut the door. He picked it up and turned around to give it back to Nejire only to see she was already driving down the street and rounding the corner.

On his walk over he glanced at the receipt, curious.

It was a Costco receipt, which Mirio figured Y/N must’ve left in Nejire’s car by accident after their trip to the store. As he made his way into his own dorm room, he was about to drop the receipt onto his dresser when he noticed the address.

It was his Costco.

He almost screamed in shock but refrained from doing so, afraid he’d scare the new freshman who lived on the same floor as him.

There was no way. Right? Yeah. No way. Right?

He collapsed onto his bed, trying to remember everything he knew about Y/N from Nejire and Tamaki. They worked at the student center, were a great roommate, and had an odd oddication to Costco food court items.

Oh.OH.

He refrained from calling Nejire. It could all just be a coincidence. No one besides his coworker, Yuyu, knew about his crush on the frequent customer. Mirio had learned Y/N’s name after their third visit, when he’d sneaked a peak at their name on the receipt they presented him. Yuyu had teased him about it, and continued to do so—including today. He’d been so embarrassed when Y/N caught him staring that he dropped to the ground, and Yuyu had laughed at him the rest of the day.

With horror, Mirio realized Yuyu was literally Nejire’s best friend. But she’d kept true to her word and hadn’t told anyone about his crush. Otherwise Nejire would’ve been teasing Mirio about it, too.

He has practice the rest of the weekend, and his free time is spent getting ahead on assignments, so he has little time to dwell on it. But the time he has had he has spent analyzing his entire situation.

Y/N, Nejire and Tamaki’s beloved roommate, famous for their costco food court addiction. Never met Mirio. Nejire and Tamaki had never mentioned the Costco they frequented had been the one he worked at, and he had concluded that they simply didn’t know about that particular detail. The more he thought of it, the more he was convinced that they were the same person.

So on Monday, after his classes, he rushed to the student center. He did have an essay to print, so he wasn’t just going to find out if this was all an odd coincidence. He normally borrowed Tenya’s printer, since they lived on the same floor, but he decided to leave his underclassmen alone for the day and use the printers in the student center.

He made it to the computers, glancing around every which way. There were a few students sitting at the reception desks on the other side of the room, near the printers. But no Y/N.

“Hello, Mirio-senpai!”

“Oh, Izuku!”

His teammate settled down into the chair beside him, logging onto the computer. “Is Tenya out of ink?”

Izuku nodded, smiling to himself. “He was very upset about it. He ran straight to the store to buy some more, so I’m using the student center printers today.”

Mirio momentarily forgot about his original intent to be here and talked with Izuku about how he was liking college. The kid was super enthusiastic about it, rambling about how cool his classes were and how he loved swimming with everyone on the team. They both printed their essays and were about to leave when Mirio heard someone say something behind him.

“Have a good night, Y/N!”

“Thanks!”

He whirled around wildly, startling Izuku, who was about to reach to open the door. But no matter where Mirio looked, he didn’t see anyone. He ushered Izuku out the door, deciding he was in the mood for some off campus food.

“Dinner is on me, Izuku!”

“Really? Thanks so much!”

Y/N loved their job. It was relatively easy, and they had a lot of time to do their own homework while on the clock. Plus, free access to the printers and occasional snacks the student center offered sometimes.

They were getting ready to clock out when they noticed a blond guy walk into the center, and their heart stopped.

It was Costco-man.

Y/N went into a panic, sitting back down heard at the front desk and sliding down so their face was hidden. A little while later, they heard someone greet someone else, and Y/N was almost sure they heard the name “Mirio.”

It took them two seconds to connect the dots.

They packed up, mind whirling with speculations and then confirmations of their now greatest fear. Nejire and Tamaki must’ve not known, assuming Y/N went to a different Costco or that Mirio worked at a different one. Nejire was busy all the time, and Tamaki was too, so the miscommunication was understandable.

They said goodbye to their coworkers and slipped out the back, sighing in relief at their close call.

“Ah, Y/N-san!”

Y/N turned toward the familiar voice, a smile already on their face. Izuku was a part time worker at the student center, too, and they thought they’d heard him earlier. He was a sweet kid, and Y/N had been tasked with showing him the ropes of the job and had basically taken him in under their wing.

And just their luck, he was standing next to Mirio. Costco-man.

Izuku’s bright smile was not enough to blind Y/N from Mirio’s bewildered look, which quickly switched to a growing smile that Y/N hesitantly returned.

“Hi, Izuku,” Y/N greeted, stopping just in front of the pair. “How’s it going?”

Izuku had a glint in his eye Y/N had seen once before, when he had been tasked with reorganizing the filing system and had ended up making it much better than it had been before.

“Actually, I’m quite busy!” he chirped, making Mirio quickly turn his head to look at him in barely concealed surprise. Izuku ignored him. “I’ve got to run, enjoy your dinner, Mirio-senpai! See you tomorrow, Y/N!” And he sprinted away, as though afraid they’d chase after him.

“So,” Mirio smiled, his cheeks tinted pink. “Y/N.”

“Mirio,” Y/N smiled back. “Nice to know your real name.”

He laughed, falling into step beside them as they continued walking idly with no particular destination in mind, rushing back to the apartment long forgotten.

“I was heading to dinner off campus, want to come with?”

Y/N didn’t hesitate. “Sure.”

“Eh? What is this?” Nejire motioned between the two of them, eyebrows furrowed. Tamaki peaked from behind her curiously.

“What do you mean?” Y/N asked, turning towards their roommates. They’d just greeted Mirio with a hug after the other two had invited him to their apartment for a get together so that he could “finally” meet Y/N.

“You know each other?” Nejire asked.

“Well, you see—”

“OH MY GOD!” she gasped in sudden understanding, her eyes glancing between the two of them quickly. Mirio had just finished a shift at work and had brought them all ice creams, which Nejire wordlessly was now pointing at on the table in shock.

“Nejire—”

“Oh my god.”

“Tamaki!”

a/n:thanks to the anon who sent in the request that inspired this!! I deviated from it a bit, hope that’s okay!! This is like the 4th spider-man related thing i’ve written, but i love the concept so idc >:)

The first time she sees her is on her second day of UA, on her way back home from school. She was just about to make it onto the street before a man grabbed her and snatched her back into the shadows, almost too quick for Y/N to see anything. Almost. She’d still seen the frantic look in the little girl’s eyes, the bandages wrapped around her arms.

On instinct Y/N follows after them, sprinting across the street to the alley, sure she didn’t imagine it. The little girl had white hair. Impossible to miss, even from a dark alley.

But when she makes it into the alley they’ve vanished. There’s doors leading to who knows where on either side of the alley’s walls, and Y/N desperately yanks at them, wishing the radioactive spider had given her lockpicking skills, too. None of them budge. Y/N calls the police, waiting impatiently for them to arrive. There isn’t a lot of foot traffic along near the alley—at least, not when she saw the little girl. She might be the only witness, and the police might not believe her.

She still stayed and gave her statement, describing the little girl with as much detail as possible. The police took down everything she said, and Y/N hoped they’d look into it. There wasn’t anything she could do. Her body hadn’t automatically reacted with her quirk, because she’d only received her spider abilities a month ago, and they were not second nature to her yet. If she’d swung across the alley with her webs, or at least grabbed the arm of the man with them, would she have been able to do something?

The next few weeks are a blur. UA was notorious for being a hero school, but the general studies course was jam packed with college preparatory courses. Y/N wasn’t able to apply for the hero course since her quirk arrived… late, so she stuck with general studies. After school, she’d walk the same route where she’d seen the little girl every day, sometimes circling back to walk a different route with more alleys. Y/N couldn’t swing from place to place like she wanted to, since a hero on patrol might scold her for it, or she’d get in the way of a mission in place, so she stuck to walking. She’d checked in with the police about the report she’d made, but they told her they hadn’t found anything. So it was up to her to find the little girl again, and save her from whatever was happening to her.

Y/N started training with her quirk at home, avoiding her parents by practicing on the roof or in the safety of her locked room, getting the hang of the sticky touch and the web shooting. The reflexes were a great added bonus—she dominated in PE class. But she needed to train herself to react instinctively with her quirk, especially if she wanted to follow through on her dream of becoming a hero. She didn’t want to fall behind, even though the odds were literally stacked against her.

The little girl found her the next week.

Y/N was walking along a route behind the alley where she’d first seen her when she felt someone bump into her, lightly enough where Y/N may have mistaken it for the wind. But she glanced down and there she was, big red eyes staring right back at her, as surprised as she was.

There’s no one else on the street—it’s mainly filled with warehouses to begin with, and people are still at work. It’s just Y/N and the little girl.

“Hi,” Y/N dropped to her knees quickly, eye level with the little girl. “I’m Y/N, I’m here to help you. What’s your name?”

She was trembling, and an arm’s length away from Y/N. Her bandages looked new, as though they had just been replaced.

Before she could reply, Y/N sees a shadow approaching from the alley, and she scoops the little girl up, ready to sling away with her webs. She turns to latch onto a building across the street and is met with a man standing in front of her, smiling cruelly down at both of them. “There you are, Eri.”

The man reaches up with lightning speed, before Y/N can even react, and touches his fingers to her temples. She vaguely felt the man take Eri from her before she blacked out, feeling her energy drain out of her as her vision faded to darkness.

She woke up to someone lightly shaking her shoulder. Y/N sat up with a gasp, wildly looking around her. “Where is she? Did he take her?”

The workday seems to be over, because the street looks busier than before. The lady who woke her up helps her to her feet, asking if she needs to go to a hospital. Y/N thanked her before stumbling away, still feeling a bit light headed. She knew there was a police station around here somewhere. The woman who helped her insisted on going with her, and Y/N let her help her walk the few blocks there.

The police took both of their statements, and Y/N goes home long after the sun has set, exhausted and fearing the wrath of her worried parents.

Y/N had plans to go back to the police station at least once a week to bother them into taking her seriously, but then the Heights Alliance dorms were built, and she found herself moving into the dorms.

When they were allowed to return home on breaks or odd weekends, Y/N was sure to take the same routes as before, searching every alley for Eri. A few times she thinks she’s seen her, and she calls out to her, slinging across streets to the alley, only to find it empty. Y/N was starting to think she imagined it, but every time it happened, she finds bandages on the alley’s floor. Eri’s had come looking for her, but either was too scared to ask for help or was dragged back to wherever they kept her.

The police tell Y/N to stop calling, assuring her they are on the case. And she believes them, because this is the first time they’ve told her that. She’s practically on a first name basis with the receptionist at the station, who was always very blunt on where they were in the investigation. The next time Y/N calls, she’s told Eri is safe, but they aren’t allowed to say anything more.

Y/N is pretty sure she scares her dorm neighbor with her loud cheers.

“Hey, Midoriya!”

Izuku screamed, almost dropping his notebooks. He was on his way to his dorm, and hadn’t even noticed Mirio. Even without his quirk he was surprisingly sneaky.

“Yes?” Izuku squeaked, still a bit startled.

“Eri-chan’s been asking for someone lately, and no one knows who it is.” Mirio falls into step beside him as Izuku leads him to a nearby bench where they can sit.

It’d been a while since Izuku saw Eri. She was getting acclimated to her new life living on campus, and was doing better than ever.

“Really? What’s their name?” Izuku adjusts his notebooks to set them on his lap. Mirio leans back into the bench, looking thoughtful.

“Y/N, Eri-chan says. She keeps asking for her. Aizawa can’t get much else out of her, I think she’s still a little shaky, especially when it comes to her memories.” Izuku nods.

“So, how’re your classes going?” They fall into an easy conversation after that, until eventually Mirio heads back to his own dorm for the night. Izuku gets his homework done for the day, the name Y/N in the back of his mind for the rest of the night.

A few weeks later, Izuku found himself wandering around the school during lunch. He was in the mood for a walk, but his allergies had been acting up lately, so he was stuck inside as much as possible. He didn’t even really know where he was—he’d never been in this part of the school before. After some vague snooping into classrooms he figured out it was the general studies branch of the school. He brightened, thinking maybe he’d see Shinso around somewhere.

“Y/N!” he heard someone call from down the hallway. He whirled around, almost activating his quirk in his haste. Someone was at the end of the hall, looking at someone else out of sight. “Wait up!”

Izuku bolted down the hallway, but when he rounded the corner there was no one else there. He kept searching nearby classrooms in vain, sure this couldn’t be a coincidence.

Aizawa had told him and Mirio not even a few days ago that Eri had finally shared who Y/N was, and why she wanted to find her. She’d been the first person to try and save her, but they’d both been caught every time. Eri wanted to thank her for all of her attempts. She’d even made her a card already, with a picture of the two of them. Aizawa had shown it to them, and although it was the drawing of a little kid, the UA uniform was unmistakable. Aizawa said he’d search for a Y/N in the school records that weekend. It was Friday today, which meant he hadn’t yet.

“Midoriya?”

Izuku whirled around, mid inspection of an empty classroom.

“Shinso-kun!”

He quickly explained he was searching for someone named Y/N, and if there was anyone with that name in the general studies program.

“Oh, Y/N. I was about to go borrow their notes. I can take you to them.”

But the bell rings just as Izuku begins to practically glow in thanks. He thanks Shinso for his help, telling him he’ll meet Y/N soon, and hurries back to class, suddenly desperate for the end of the day so he can find Aizawa and ask him about the Y/N search.

But Mirio found him first, right after classes are over for the week.

“Aizawa says he might’ve found Y/N! I’ll come get you tomorrow, he’s taking Eri to meet her in the staff room. She’s taken a liking to it, she’ll feel safe there.”

Izuku could barely sleep that night. He was so excited—both for Y/N, who’d feel so relieved at knowing Eri was safe, and for Eri, who was going to be able to thank Y/N. He finally fell asleep at around two in the morning, but not before going through at least five of his hero journals before he got sleepy.

Mirio kept his promise and showed up at the dorms just after breakfast, and Izuku hurried to clean off his dishes before leaving with him.

It felt odd to be on campus on a weekend, but every door Mirio opened for them was unlocked, probably thanks to Aizawa. Izuku unconsciously sped up, scared he’ll have missed the reunion. He’d become invested in this, determined to see Eri smile more as she learns how to be happy and interact more with others.

He found Eri sitting on the couch, looking nervous and staring intently down at the note in her lap. Izuku took the seat beside her after greeting her and Aizawa, starting a small conversation with her while Mirio and Aizawa conversed quietly before Mirio hurried out the door, probably to fetch Y/N. Aizawa sat himself down at the table and sipped his coffee quietly while Izuku talked with Eri. She relaxed after a few minutes, opening her note and sharing her drawing once more, her eyes shining with excitement.

“I’m back, and I’ve brought a friend!” Izuku whipped around at the same time Eri did.

Behind a grinning Mirio was a girl, who tentatively peeked around him, her eyes searching the room before landing briefly on Izuku, and then on Eri beside him.

He heard her sharp intake of breath and watched, transfixed for some reason, as she walked forward slowly toward Eri, who had got up from the couch and was walking toward Y/N slowly.

“For you,” Eri said, thrusting the note out in front of her. “To thank you.”

Y/N took it gently, as though scared Eri would suddenly bolt. She unfolded it and read it quietly, a smile growing on her face and tears starting to slide down her cheeks.

“I’m sorry I couldn’t save you sooner,” she said, barely loud enough for Izuku to hear from his seat on the couch. Eri offered her a tissue from her pocket, and Y/N took it with a quiet thanks, wiping away her tears as Aizawa started to explain how Eri had ended up at UA.

Eri led Y/N over to where Izuku sat on the couch and she sat down in between them, beaming at them both as Aizawa talked. Y/N glanced at Izuku when he was mentioned in the story, smiling, which he brightly mirrored back to her.

“I’m glad someone was looking out for her,” Y/N said, looking at Izuku with shining eyes he found very hard to meet the gaze of without blushing. He could practically feel Mirio’s knowing smile from across the room where he sat at the long table with Aizawa, talking again now that the long story was over. Eri was busy showing Y/N her outfit and matching bows, and Y/N was complimenting them. Izuku wandered over to his teacher and upperclassmen.

“I’ll take Eri back soon,” Aizawa murmured. “Mirio, walk these two back to the dorms for me.”

“I can walk Y/N back,” Izuku blurted, almost surprising himself. Mirio’s smile returned, and Izuku rushed to finish. “That way Mirio-senpai can head back with Eri-chan, I know he was supposed to spend the day playing with her.”

“Fine by me,” Aizawa sighed, moving to wash his empty coffee mug in the sink. “Straight back to your dorm, Midoriya.”

“Yes, sir,” Izuku replied quickly, knowing the meaning behind the tone and knowing glare Aizawa sent him. No more spontaneous meetings with villains on campus alone.

After a tearful goodbye with promises to visit often, Izuku and Y/N parted ways from Eri and co, walking the opposite way towards the dorms. He was bursting with questions. Eri had only mentioned Y/N had tried to save her multiple times, but often Eri had only caught a glimpse from her across the street before she was taken back inside. What was Y/N’s quirk like? How had she found Eri the first time? Had she had to fight against Chisaki’s men? Why had she filed two police reports, as she’d briefly mentioned—

“This is my stop.”

Izuku stopped in front of the dorm building, where a giant 1-C Alliance sign adorned the entrance above. Y/N smiled at him, moving to enter her dorm building. “Thanks for walking me. Shinso had mentioned you were looking for me, but we both had no idea why. I would’ve never imagined Eri was involved.”

Izuku could only nod, his voice caught in his throat. He hated the way he froze up around attractive people. He resisted the urge to sprint away from Y/N in the hopes of hiding his blush but fought against the instinct. “I heard someone call your name during lunch, and I remembered how Eri-chan had been asking for a Y/N. It’s very nice finally meeting you.”

“It’s nice to meet you, too.” Y/N had stopped moving towards the dorm entrance, turning to face Izuku again. “I watched you at the sports festival. Has… Has your quirk always been like that?” Izuku didn’t miss the hesitation in her voice, or the way she subconsciously moved to rub at her wrists, which were wrapped in bandages.

“It’s much better now, I’ve been getting the hang of it!” Izuku reassured her brightly. “It just took some getting used to.”

“I can understand that,” Y/N replied, laughing quietly. “Mine is a bit like that, lately. I think I’ve just been over exerting myself.”

“Ah, your wrists?” Izuku asked, pointing at her hands. “I can offer you pointers! If you’d like, that is. I’m not sure how helpful I’d be, but I love learning about different quirks, and I know about a lot, so I think I’d know something to help you out somehow!” He quickly shut himself up, realizing in horror he’d been rambling.

But Y/N is looking at him with that same look in their eye as before, after hearing how he’d been involved in Eri’s rescue. “Would you? I don’t want to be a bother.”

“You’re not a bother!” Izuku hurriedly said. “Does tomorrow work for you, in the afternoon? I know a spot behind the 1-A dorms that’s perfect for sparring and quirk usage.”

“Thank you,” Y/N said. “Seriously, Midoriya. Thanks.”

“No problem! I’ll come get you after lunch tomorrow!” He waved goodbye, waiting for Y/N to walk inside before jogging back to the 1-A dorms, feeling beyond giddy with himself.

Y/N’s quirk, Izuku quickly decides, is beyond cool. He’s already filled almost two pages with information about it, complete with a sketch of Y/N mid-swing with her webs.

Her main issue is her wrists, she tells him. At first she was fine, but after using her quirk more often, she’s started to feel the strain, and sometimes her skin would crack and bleed. Similar to Sero and his quirk repercussions, Izuku thought to himself.

Izuku does his best to help her, telling her all he can on how to treat her injuries after over exertion, something he is very knowledgeable in, and after seeing her in action for a while, he copies her moves (minus the webs). It’s similar to how he’s adjusted to flying through the air, but Y/N has the added momentum thanks to her webs, and thus uses more of her strength to change directions or stop.

Together, lying on the grass, they write out a workout routine for her while consulting online resources. Shoulder to shoulder on the grass, Izuku forgets about his nerves as he scribbles in his notebook, talking ambiably with an equally enthusiastic Y/N.

After they work out the plan, Y/N offered to show him her “spidey-senses.” Izuku is excited to see them in action and before he knows it they’re sparring. Y/N’s reactions are instantaneous, moving right as Izuku swings to tap her. He only landed a tap once, when she’s laughing at the determined set of his eyebrows and too distracted to doge properly.

They both tire themselves out and lay back down on the grass, panting.

“Hey, Midoriya.”

“Hm?” Izuku hums from his place beside her, still catching his breath.

“I wanted to be a hero. That’s why I applied to UA. But I wasn’t ready for the hero course, so I went with general studies.” Izuku turned his head to look at her. She was staring up at the sky, twiddling her fingers resting on her stomach. “But after meeting Eri, and you, I think I’m going to work for it. With all I’ve got. I’d be happy just working as a nobody in a hero agency if it means I get to help people.”

Izuku resisted the urge to start crying. “I believe in you, Y/N. And so does Eri-chan.”

He yelped when he felt her slap his arm gently. He turned to see her covering her face with her hands.

“Gonna make me cry again,” she mumbled from beneath her hands. Izuku laughed, rolling away from her when she reached out to smack him again.

Their training sessions become a weekly tradition. Every weekend they meet behind the 1-A dorms and stay there for an hour. Mainly they spar together, making a game out of how many times they manage to touch each other. After they get tired they lay in the grass, pointing clouds out to one another and talking about their weeks. Y/N’s been sticking to the workout routine Izuku helped her make, and she tells him it’s been a great help. He notices the difference in her moves, how she doesn’t hesitate as much anymore, trusts herself to listen to her instincts.

After a particularly tiring session, wherein Izuku won, Y/N plopped herself onto the ground, laughing to herself. Izuku sat beside her, stealing glances at her since her eyes were closed and there was no one around to tease him about it. She looked so at peace whenever they finished training, despite the sweat sticking to her forehead and the heavy breaths that escaped her lips.

“Hey, Midoriya.”

“Yeah?” He hurried to glance elsewhere, up at the clouds.

“I’ve never told anyone this,” she paused before continuing, “but I was born quirkless.”

He almost gave himself whiplash as he turned to face her. Her eyes were still closed, but he knows she could still feel his movements despite her sense of vision being obstructed.

“I got my quirk a month before school started, after a spider bit me. It was so scary to figure out alone. You’ve helped me alot.” She smiled at that, reaching over to pat his hand lightly. “Thank you.”

“You’re welcome,” he said, almost automatically. His brain was still processing what she’d said.

“You’re like me, aren’t you?” He froze, his body going rigid in shock.

“It’s okay if you can’t tell me,” Y/N said, eyes still closed. “It’s just nice to know I’m not alone.”

Izuku didn’t trust himself to say anything. He reached out to take her hand, intertwining their fingers. Y/N’s smile returned, and she squeezed his hand lightly.

“I’m glad I found you,” she said, opening her eyes to meet his gaze.

“I’m glad I found you,” he echoed, moving to lay down beside her to look up at the clouds. He was careful not to let go of her hand.

“Although, I did find you first.”

“Oh, so it’s a competition, is it?”

SERO HANTA’S LIST OF FALLING IN LOVE ACTIVITIES:

1. Romantically plot in secret

It had started as most chaotic things to: at a sleepover.

To begin with, the sleepover had not started out as an actual sleepover. Y/N had invited Sero over because they were both busy cramming for upcoming finals, and Sero’s apartment was not the best place to cram. He loved his roommates—truly, he did. Just not as much during finals season. Y/N always offered him refuge in their apartment, because somehow they had gotten lucky enough to snag the studio apartments before everyone else and had the pleasure of having relatively nice, quiet neighbors. Sero hid from the noise that was his apartment complex here more often than he should, but Y/N never seemed to mind too much.

They sat at Y/N’s kitchen table in comfortable silence, their laptops and various notes spread out around them. They had not moved from their spot in a while, and finally Sero felt his eyes start to tear up from staring at his laptop screen for too long, so he decided he had had enough for the night. He closed down all of his tabs and failed to hold back a strangled noise of surprise when he noticed the time.

“It’s one in the morning.”

Y/N’s reaction was delayed, only eliciting a small noise of acknowledgement that Sero had spoken at first. Then they snapped their head up from their work, eyes wide. “One?”

Normally, staying up this late was a normal occurrence—especially when it was the two of them together, and they were hyper-focused on studying. But it was the last day of dead week, meaning that they had to be ready to take their first exams in roughly ten hours.

“Shit,” Sero cursed, quickly putting away his notes. “Sleep. Now.”

Y/N laughed a little as they also hurried to put away their notes and shut down their laptop. They both scurried around the apartment; Y/N to their room to file things away, and Sero into the living room area to find his backpack. His apartment should have quieted down by now, since it was quite literally the day of finals.

“You can stay here!” Y/N called from their room. “I already pulled out your futon.”

Sero wilted with relief, nearly dropping his backpack at the door. He set it back against the couch and walked over to Y/N’s room, yawning with sleep he had not been aware of ten minutes ago.

Y/N was already snuggled under the warm comfort of their covers, and right beside their bed was the spare futon that was basically Sero’s at this point. He had arrived to the study session in his pajamas and had done his nightly routine a few hours ago (shamelessly borrowing Y/N’s face wash) so he quickly snuggled under his own covers and turned to face Y/N, like he always did when he slept over.

They were already drifting off, but were also facing him and smiled when he turned to stare. “Your exam is at 10, right?”

Sero nodded. “Yours at 11?”

Y/N nodded and yawned again. “Good luck.”

“Good luck,” he echoed, moving the covers up to hide his smile of endearment. Y/N was always cute, but sleepy Y/N was on a different level.

Yes, Sero had a massive crush on his friend. He had come to terms with it a few months ago, when they both started hanging out more and getting closer. Sero did not mind the unrequited feelings too much, and was currently in the process of dealing with it. Sleeping over was not a big help, but he did not want to ruin the friendship they had, so he decided it was a worthy sacrifice to his efforts.

“Can I tell you something?” Y/N asked, blinking at him. Sero stifled a small laugh. He knew Y/N always had the tendency to get honest moments before they drifted off to sleep. The first time it had happened, they had shared that they had been the ones to accidentally drop Bakugo’s bamboo toothbrush onto the floor and then quickly wash it with soap (which Bakugo tasted later that day and was very mad about). Kaminari had taken the blame, and Y/N had never come clean as a form of revenge for all of the times Kaminari had eaten the last of the cookie stash and never replacing it.

“Of course you can,” Sero replied, adjusting so his head was propped up in his chin and he could see Y/N better.

“Have you ever been in love?”

Sero almost dropped back down onto his pillow. “You said you were going to tell me something, not ask me something,” Sero said, successfully recovering. Stay cool, Hanta

Y/N blinked at him again, apparently now more awake and willing to engage in a conversation.

“I’ve never been in love,” they said. “What’s it like?”

Sero gave up on trying to maintain eye level and snuggled back under his covers, leaving his eyes uncovered to hide his blushing cheeks. This really was not helping him with ending his crush.

“Dunno. I don’t think I’ve ever been in love, either.”

“Really?” Y/N seemed surprised. “Haven’t you dated anyone, like before I met you?”

They had only met last year, in their second year of university. Y/N had never asked him about these things. Sleep deprivation must have made them more curious, and maybe a tad bit more blunt and daring.

“No,” Sero answered, still hiding under his blanket.

“You were supposed to be, like, the wise one in this,” Y/N said, rolling around in their bed as they said it. Sero laughed at their reaction.

“Sorry to disappoint.”

“No! Never apologize,” Y/N whirled around to face him again, eyes considerably more drowsy than before. Sleep was overtaking them. Sero wondered how long they would keep talking before Y/N passed out.

“It’s just,” Y/N sighed, now turning to face the ceiling. “I want to fall in love. I want to know what it feels like for your heart to hurt when you’re not around someone, what it feels like to slow dance in the rain with someone, to stay up for hours just to spend time with them. You know?” They turned to face Sero again.

He did not know what to say to that. This must have been the most honest Y/N had ever been with him, about this topic, anyway. They had never really spoken about this before.

“Yeah,” he said quietly. “I do.”

“Even heartbreak sounds just so full of love, because that just means the love was so deep and real that it hurts when the person causing it isn’t there anymore,” Y/N’s blinks were slowing down now, signaling they were very close to sleep. “Dunno, it just seems…nice.”

And with that, they were asleep.

Leaving Sero wide awake, staring up at them. Peacefully sleeping and blissfully unaware of what they had just done to him, of the plan he was now making.

He spent the next hour making a list on his phone. Specifics would come later, when the sun was up and he was not driven by nerves and adrenaline like was now.

One point done, more to go.

2. Spend lots of quality time together (basically done?)

Finals disrupted much of Sero’s next point that he had written down, but not as much as he would have previously thought. Now that he had decided to let his crush take hold of him and do his best to woo Y/N, he was realizing how much their friendship had evolved, and how much he had neglected to notice the things that made it more special. He had ignored this in favor of trying to squash his crush, but after embracing it, he now understood why it had formed in the first place.

He and Y/N just fit. They understood each other, probably better than anyone else. And Sero had been downplaying their relationship for weeks—Y/N was easily his best friend (something Kaminari would be devastated to learn, seeing as he was the one who always proclaimed himself as Sero’s BFF).

His second point on his list was spending lots of time together, which was relatively easy, because they already did it so much in the first place. Their friends overlapped, which was the reason they even met in the first place, and the reason they grew to be so close and spend so much time together. Even final exams didn’t keep them apart for very long.

Y/N often realized they had sleepily confessed something, and confronted Sero about it the next morning. This had not been the case this time, because Y/N had gone off to their exam before Sero had even woken up. He had been nervous about how they would react, but he hoped for the best, trying to stay optimistic.

He had not expected Y/N to be there after his exam, with his current obsession (an iced matcha latte) and a hesitant smile on their face as they waved at him from the bench just outside the building.

It was impossible to keep the smile off his face. “Hey, didn’t expect to see you here.”

“My exam ended a little while ago, so I decided to stick around and wait for you,” Y/N replied, handing him his drink. “How’d it go?”

They both walked idly through campus in the general direction back to Y/N’s apartment, probably a bit subconsciously. This was their routine every Thursday, when they had a class that ended at the same time in the same vicinity of one another. Still, Sero knew why Y/N had come to find him. But the addition of the matcha latte was a very nice touch that left him jittery with happiness and butterflies.

“So,” Y/N started as they left campus and began the walk through the residential areas, back to Y/N’s apartment. “The latte is an apology drink, since I remember I overshared last night.”

“No need to apologize,” Sero quickly replied, nudging them with his shoulder as they walked. “I basically overshared too. Anyway, what are besties for?”

Y/N nudged him back. “Have I replaced Kaminari?” They were smiling at him, and it made Sero’s own grin widen.

“Don’t tell him I said that. Anyway, I’ll take you up on that.” He took a sip from his drink, nervous of where this would leave him. Had he planned this? Absolutely not. But he decided to be a little daring. Maybe it was the matcha giving him bravery.

“On what?” Y/N asked, turning to look at him.

“Fall in love. With me, I mean.”

Y/N stopped walking, and Sero turned to face them.

His plan would never work if Y/N wasn’t aware of it. It would have been a bit odd if he started doing all of these romantic things with no explanation, and it would have ultimately led to a failed plan. Sero had decided last night he did not want to try and hide his feelings anymore—and he had, for once, decided to listen to the constant teasing of his friends. They had been saying he and Y/N were practically an old married couple for weeks now, but he’d waved them off because he thought they were poking fun at his crush.

Seeing Y/N after his exam had made him decide maybe they were right, and had convinced him that the plan he’d made last night was worth a shot.

“What? Are you messing with me?” Y/N asked, an accusatory tone surfacing. “Not funny, Sero.”

“I’m not!” Sero quickly replied. “I promise.”

They stared him down, narrowing their eyes in thought.

Despite knowing each other for only a year, they knew each other. Sero wasn’t lying, and he knew Y/N could tell. And some realization came into their eyes, followed by embarrassment as they hid their face in their hands.

“Oh my fuck,” Y/N practially shouted, laughing up at the sky. “How did you know before I did?”

Sero smiled again, cheerily linking his arm through Y/N’s when they continued to walk. “I did say we were besties, didn’t I?”

3. Go on some dates

“Why are you here?”

Sero pouted before walking past Y/N into their apartment. “Rude, much?

Y/N closed their door and followed Sero, sitting beside him on the couch. “It’s summer now. Weren’t you heading back for a week?”

Most of his friends stayed on campus for the summer, either to work or to take classes. Sero was no exception, though he usually went back home for a week.

“I’ll be going back home in a few months,” Sero explained. “My family has a long list of weddings and events to attend, and you know I’d much rather avoid nosy relatives asking when I’ll start dating and instead actively get you to start dating me.”

Y/N threw a pillow at his face at that, which Sero easily dodged as he laughed. His mom had freed him of the obligation of attending the family events since he wasn’t very close to any of the relatives hosting them, and his room was currently occupied by visiting cousins. That said, he was expected to call her twice as much (she knew he had more free time now) and to visit before the fall semester started.

Sero planned to take advantage of this summer as much as he could. It was shaping up to be much better than the last one. This time he wasn’t buried in classwork—his schedule was much more manageable, and he had a part time job he liked. The best part was Y/N, though.

Since the acknowledgement of the feelings they both had for each other, their relationship had taken a small, almost unnoticeable turn. They noticed, of course. The thin layer of caution they had acted with earlier was gone. Now Sero unabashedly stared at Y/N when they were doing simple tasks, replying to their questioning stares with “You’re just so pretty.” And Y/N was no better—constantly sneaking glances at Sero when he changed into his pajamas in their apartment and telling him he had very nice hands whenever they laid down to fall asleep (holding hands).

Slow, tiny steps. Toward his next thing on the list: dates.

“I thought we could spend the day together,” Sero said, turning to look at Y/N on the couch. They were already looking at him and smiled when their eyes met.

“Okay. What should we do?”

“I’m so glad you asked,” he replied, still not looking away from them. “The first activity of the day is of course watching a movie.”

After some discussion, Y/N quickly got dressed to head out for the movie theater downtown. It was a sequel to another action movie that they had seen years ago, and Sero had been waiting for finals to be over before watching it. He slipped his hand into theirs on the walk over and smiled when they glanced over at him. They’d held hands before—just last night they had, right before falling asleep. But they both knew this time was different. Y/N lightly squeezed his hand and swung their arms back and forth as they walked, laughing quietly enough for only the two of them to hear.

The movie was very action filled, which kept them so energized they decided to head to a nearby arcade afterwards. Sero was excellent at arcade games, Y/N quickly realized. He won them both a lot of prizes, and they left the arcade with two bags full of miscellaneous items and matching plushies.

From there, they wandered around the shops downtown, stopping to get ice cream and then finally sitting down at a bench. Only then did Sero realize how tired he was. He turned his head to ask Y/N if they were also tired, only to find them already facing him.

“Yeah, let’s go back,” Sero laughed, intertwining their fingers and pulling Y/N off of the bench.

When they reached Y/N’s apartment, they moved to walk in and pull Sero inside along with them. But he gently slid his out of theirs. The reaction was immediate—Y/N turned to glance behind them, a questioning look in his eyes and the slightest frown on their lips.

“I can’t sleep here every night,” he teased. “I still pay rent for my real apartment, you know.”

Y/N narrowed his eyes at him in mock hurt. “Yeah, yeah.” They mumbled something else before waving and moving to close the door.

“What was that?” Sero asked, a smile growing on his face as he stuck his foot out just before the door closed. He was having too much fun, but he couldn’t help it.

Y/N avoided his gaze. “Hmm? Nothing.”

“No, I heard you say something,” he said, unable to keep the teasing tone out of his voice.

“I said I’ll miss you,” Y/N snapped, before successfully slamming the door shut to avoid looking at him.

“See you tomorrow!” Sero cheerfully called, laughing at Y/N’s embarrassed knocks to let him know they had heard him.

4. Dance in the rain

Sero patiently waited for summer rain, knowing it would come.

His patience was wearing pretty thin until it finally started to rain while he was walking back from his shift. Letting out a small yell of excitement, he changed course and ran back to campus, where he knew Y/N was currently in class.

They had not had the chance to see each other all week, resorting to texting instead. Classes had started, so things got a bit more hectic and they had not found out the best way to balance everything just yet. After this week it would even out, he was sure of this. Still, he had missed Y/N more than he realized. The rain reminded him of that.

He waited outside of Y/N’s classroom, watching the rain steadily get heavier. Soon students started filing out, a few actually pulling out umbrellas. Y/N was the last to leave, and Sero didn’t miss the soft look in their eyes when they saw the rain, and how the look seemed to only grow fonder when they realized he was outside, waiting for them.

“Hi,” they said, taking his outstretched hand. “What’re you doing here?”

“It’s raining,” Sero said, as though that would make everything clear. Y/N smiled at him.

“Yes.”

Sero tugged their hand in protest of their teasing, earning a laugh. “Your backpack is waterproof, right?” It wasn’t pouring, thankfully, which made Sero’s plan much easier.

“Yes,” Y/N said again, realizing what he was saying. “Hanta, wait—”

He was already pulling them along, out from underneath the protection of the overhead roof and into the rain. Y/N laughed and didn’t pull away, instead pulling him further out until they were running hand in hand in the direction of Y/N’s apartment.

Not exactly dancing, but not exactly not dancing. They leapt over bigger puddles and stopped sometimes to catch their breath before tugging each other along, clothes and skin damp from the sprinkling rain and laughing the entire way.

Sero had always loved the rain, but this made him love it even more.

When they made it to Y/N’s apartment the rain had stopped and the sun had started to peak out from behind the clouds. They both quickly changed out of their wet clothes and collapsed onto Y/N’s couch, leaning onto each other and still laughing a little.

“That was on your list?” Y/N asked, leaning their head against his shoulder. He wrapped an arm around them and pulled them in closer, hoping they did not notice the way his heart was pouding.

“Of course,” he said. “You mentioned it, remember?”

Y/N slipped their hand into his. “Yeah. I also mentioned staying up late, didn’t I? Are you crossing that one off today, too?”

“Anything for you,” Sero replied, kissing the top of their head. “Except, not the heartbreak part. I physically cannot do that to you.”

Y/N made a noise of surprise before burying their face in his neck, moving so they were practically sitting in his lap. “You’re so sappy.”

Sero laughed, wrapping both his arms around their waist and sitting them fully in his lap. “I know.”

5. Stay up together and cuddle

Sero did end up sleeping over that day. He also decided to share the rest of his list with Y/N.

He got ready for bed in their bathroom, smiling to himself as he looked around and saw how present he was in Y/N’s life. They had a toothbrush for him there, the hair ties he used sometimes, and his damp clothes had been hung to dry.

He walked back to Y/N’s room, ready to get comfortable on his futon. Only to realize it was not there, and Y/N was already in bed.

They patted the spot next to them, and Sero needed no further instruction. He snuggled up beside them, reaching out to wrap his arms around them and press his cold feet against their warm legs. Y/N laughed and playfully shoved him away.

He’d always been a very touchy person, but he knew boundaries. When he realized he had a crush on Y/N all those months ago, he had been even more careful about physical contact with them, mainly for his own sake. Now, holding hands was so common for them Sero reached for Y/N’s the second he saw them, and whenever they sat near each other they were always pressed against one another. They were always touching in some way.

Cuddling was his last straw—he could not stop blushing and trying to hide his face in the crook of Y/N’s face, which they noticed immediately.

“You’re so cute when you’re embarrassed,” Y/N gushed in a teasing tone, knowing this only made Sero more flustered.

“Shut up,” he mumbled, poking their side to make them ticklish. Y/N just laughed more and ran their fingers through his hair, tugging in the way they knew he liked. He sighed against them, melting further into their embrace and feeling sleep already creeping into him.

“Want to hear the rest of my list?” Sero asked. He moved a bit so he was on his side and facing Y/N, and they turned on their side to face him.

“Of course,” they replied. “I want to know what your steps are to completely woo me.”

Sero breathed out a short laugh.

“Well, obviously I won’t share all of it, because that ruins some things, but we are currently on point five.”

“Five?” Y/N asked. “I thought we were basically done.”

“Howdare you,” Sero gasped in mock offense. “We haven’t even said the L-word yet.”

“What, love?” Y/N asked incredulously. “I have to have said it by now.”

That shut Sero up. Said it by now? As in they were in love with him? As in his love was being reciprocated?

He realized he was in love with them when they had sleepily told him they had never been in love. Sero was sure he had actually been in love for months, but in that moment he had finally realized it. He realized that he did not want Y/N to experience any of the things they listed with anyone else but him, and that now he needed to tell them how he felt, otherwise he would never forgive himself. He realized he missed them whenever they were not together, that he wanted to go on cheesy dates with them, dance in the rain with them, stay up late just to spend time with them.

“You—what? What?” Sero practically squeaked in shock.

Y/N smiled at him. “I thought I’d said it already! I feel bad now. I love you.”

Sero turned to bury his face in the pillow they were sharing, Y/N laughing at him and running their fingers through his hair. “I love you,” they repeated, earning another strangled groan from him.

“I love you, too,” he replied. He turned to face them again. “I think I have for a while, but I only realized it when you told me you’d never been in love.”

It was Y/N’s turn to hide in the pillow. “God, I’m embarrassing.”

“When did you know?” Sero asked, unable to help himself. Y/N quickly turned back to face him.

“When I brought you matcha after your final,” Y/N said immediately, still playing with his hair idly as they talked. “You just… looked so happy to see me. No one’s ever looked at me like that before. And I realized that’s probably how I looked at you every day.”

Sero reached up to take Y/N’s hand in his and intertwine their fingers together.

“Who’s the sappy one now,” he said triumphantly, not letting go when Y/N tried to pull their fingers away and laughing at their embarrassed expression.

“The list is long, by the way,” Sero said. “Hope you’re up for it.”

“I am,” Y/N replied instantly. “Pinky promise.”

They both fell asleep after that, pinkies intertwined and symbolizing a promise they both knew the other would never break.

study date ft. midoriya izuku

notes — heart been owned by this cinnamon roll nowadays and it shows <33

you know you’re not supposed to mess around while your green haired boyfriend diligently reviews his notes from the earlier lessons in class. you know you shouldn’t even start planning on grabbing his attention away from it when you were the one that suggested to study the topic in your room earlier in the first place.

boredom manifested inside you quicker than you thought it would be which is why you’re now sprawled at your bed staring at izuku’s broad back, having the urge to ruffle his mop of broccoli hair. you debated on just browsing on your phone or messaging some friends to annoy them, but then decided observing the aspiring hero albeit creepily, was better. he must’ve sensed your heated gaze directed at him because you notice he stopped his self rambling and became a bit tense as he then slowly looked at you.

with a timid voice he hesitantly asks if there’s something wrong, which you answered with a little shake of your head. he raises an eyebrow at that as if telling you he knows there’s something else you want to say. you don’t reply and just kept your eyes on the freckles on his face, wanting to count them again. it’s a simple past time you find yourself doing — admiring the patches that are littered on different parts of his skin — only when he’s asleep. though sometimes he’s awake on those instances and pretends he isn’t. midoriya doesn’t know that you know of this, and you don’t have the heart to tell him anytime soon, because you realize he likes it a lot when you touch him so lovingly but is just too shy to tell you.

for a moment you’re so lost in thought, you fail to recognize the hand that cradles your cheek. it snapped you back to the present when you feel it apply the slightest pressure. you end up staring at izuku who was now hovering slightly above you, curiosity in his expression with a hint of concern, his notes completely forgotten.

when your name leaves his lips in a whisper, you knew you were done for.

nothing else mattered except him and his goddamn shy smile and that endearing blush that formed when he sees the way you visibly brightened at his full attentiveness finally directed at you.

with the exams coming up as well as other more pressing things to boot that comes with being a hero in training, it’s not a surprise that izuku and you haven’t been able to get some time alone together for quite awhile. the last nice uninterrupted date you remembered you two shared happened a few weeks ago.

so it’s not your fault that you’ve been missing him — very much, to be exact.

you totally didn’t pretend to invite him to study just to gawk at him stupidly. also definitely didn’t plan to watch a new all might documentary film as you snuggle under your blanket and catch up with each other. you didn’t anticipate the situation in which your boyfriend would have believed your idea so easily (like you don’t even study that diligently why doesn’t he think it’s suspicious you would start now), which then resulted to you absently staring at your book for half an hour until you gave up on it.

not bothering to hide the longing laced in your tone as you say his name back, you give him a pout and invite him with open arms that makes his heart flutter. he gives you the chance to wrap your arms around his neck as he positions himself to lay on your chest, careful not to put all his weight on you. you feel rather than hear him sigh with contentment and it makes you happy to know that he shares your unsaid sentiments.

you stay like this for some time, just basking on each other’s company and listening to each other’s breathing. he gives an appreciative hum when you place a chaste kiss on his green curls. you want him to know what you’re feeling right now and how hard you hoped for a sweet moment like this again with the love of your life. however, before you could get a chance to speak, he tightens his hold on your waist and stares at you again.

the look he gives you tells you enough — izuku’s figured everything out. he’s one of the smartest people you know so it wouldn’t be hard for him to connect two and two together.

when he sees you try to speak up for the second time, he lowers himself to give you a peck on the lips. you’re in disbelief yet also extremely flustered at what he’d done that it ultimately shuts you down. if you hadn’t caught his reddening ears, you’d have thought izuku had improved with initiating physical intimacy between you two.

“i miss you.” he murmurs gently in your ear, placing another innocent peck underneath it. you laugh wholeheartedly at his darling confession — ‘so he wanted to be the first one to say that line huh?’

with a grin and newly found energy, you squish his cheeks and gave him an eskimo kiss which in turn makes both of you giggle like lovesick idiots (which you both are).

izuku and you ended up doing what you planned, the green haired boy pointed out the fact you could’ve just asked him because he would’ve agreed in a heartbeat instead of putting an act to actually do school-related activities. you chose to ignore his comments so you could leave fleeting kisses on the scars of his fingers in peace.

everything else outside this secluded room of yours could wait for a moment.

right now, you’re pretty much enjoying the time you have with izuku as he once again starts his rambling of opinions for you to hear on the new all might documentary film he had already watched a couple of times alone.

Dis is fluff about my angry boi. He deserves some love :,(

Ah Valentine’s Day…
The one day where you can shamelessly buy your crush some flowers or chocolates and they have to accept it.
UA’s halls buzzed with glee and chittering from its students. You sat at your desk, doodling in your notebook as you waited for class to start.
“Hey Y/N!” Denki’s head dips below your eyes, taking away your sight of the page that your pen made contact with.
“Why hello there human taser.” You say with a smile. “What can I do ya for?”
“I just wanted to give you this.” He stated casually, pulling out a box of chocolates.
You pout with thankful and joyful eyes. As if you had just seen a puppy. “Aww Kaminari.”
“Don’t thank me, they’re actually from Kiri, he just got too nervous so I did it for him.” Your smile widens, the thought of nervous Kiri was one you found quite adorable. You lean further into your desk to look at Kiri who sat in the same row.
“Thank you.” You mouth to him.
He blushes and mouths back. “Happy Valentine’s Day.” His lips curled into a contagious smile.
“Anyways… I got you this!” Denki whipped out a heart shaped card and slammed it on your desk excitedly. “Happy V day weirdo!”
You laugh at him and pick up the card. “Thank you doofus.” You say as you lightly punch him in the arm.

“Y/N!” You turn to see a joyous Midoriya. “Hey! How’s your Valentine’s so far?”
“Chocolates from Kiri, card from Denki, Koji picked me some flowers and Shoji kept Mineta as far away from everyone as possible. So pretty great!” You beam.
“Wow! That’s awesome! Got a Valentine yet?”
“Nah,” You shrug, “I mean, I’ve gotten gifts but not really a Valentine specifically. What about you?”
“Few cards, nothing too special.” He laughs. “Beats nothing though.”
“That’s true.” As your eyes glance up you notice Bakugo heading towards the two of you. A frown plastered on his face with his hands shoved in his pockets. It’s not like a negative face on him was unusual, this one just seemed different in some sort of way. He slipped past in silence. “Hey, what about Bakugo? Has he gotten anything?” You ask as you peer back at him.
“Not that I know of. Kacchan never really liked Valentine’s Day.”
“Hm.” Your brows furrow.

7:34pm
You pace your room in thought, glancing over to the blood red rose that Sero left by your door.
Valentine’s Day made you smile. Made you feel loved and appreciated.
You hands slip into your bottom drawer and pull out a small, rectangular box. You kick the drawer closed and hide the box in your jumper, slipping out of your room.

Your knuckles lightly knock on the wooden door that stood before your wandering eyes. It forcefully swung open exposing a grumpy Katsuki Bakugo. “What do you want?” He grunted as he eyed you off.
“Just wanted to ask you somethin’.” You smile warmly. Your gentle eyes settling on his fiery ones.
“Get it over with.” His tone never seemed to change from simply irritated.
You hesitate, wondering whether or not you should just back out. “Well…” You unzip your jumper and pull out the box. “I got you this.” You place it in his hands as he raises an eyebrow. “I know you like spicy stuff so I got these really tasty–”
“Why?” He frowns again.
You inhale deeply. Probably at the sheer stupidity and cluelessness of this cutie. “I wanted to know… if you’d be my Valentine.” You release the breath that made home to your lungs.
Bakugo was silent. It felt like hours had past as he just stood. Staring at you. “You’re serious aren’t you?”
“Of course.” You say firmly. You wanted him to know that you meant business.
Silence once again. He sighed exasperatedly. “Fine.” His reply taking you by complete surprise.
Your eyes lit up. “Great! No backing out now. Come with me, we’re watching a movie back at my dorm.”
“What?! I never agreed to this!” He barked as you dragged him out of his room by his hand.
“Too bad so sad. I said so.” You skip off down the hall, looking back every few seconds to make sure he was following.
Surely enough, even while dragging his feet, he was. Perhaps it was the night to finally tell him. You wanted him to be your Valentine for a while now.
“Hey Y/N.”
“Hm?”
“Thanks. I guess.”

Hi there! Welcome to the final part of this lil story thing. Please make sure you have read both Part 1andPart 2 before reading this. Hope you enjoy <3

The days seemed to blur together after your run-in with him.As you glanced around the city, your mind took you back to that day…

“Be mine.”
Your jaw dropped from pure shock. “Fucking pardon?!” You spewed.
“I want you to be mine.” Those were the last words you expected to hear from this… villain.
“Are you mental? Absolutely not!” You whined with furrowed brows. You ducked your head underneath his arms and free yourself from his poorly thought-out trap.
“Why not?” He asked. His voice almost sounding genuinely intrigued.
“Why not?!” You mock. “Listen here buttercup–” You wave your finger in his face, pointing directly at the smiling man that stood by your fingertip. “YOU are a bad guy. A criminal. I am a hero. The one you’re supposed to be avoiding. Starting to pick up what I’m putting down?”
Dabi poked the inside of his cheek with his tongue. “Yeah I get it. So… your answer?”
His defiance was nothing less than irritating. “Did you not hear me the first time? No.”
“Hm. Okay.” His eyes lowered as he inhaled deeply. “I’m gonna give you a week to think it over. Change your mind, come find me. If your answer is still the same, then I’ll leave you alone.” Your mouth opened as if it were to say something, but nothing came out. “Sound good, Princess?”
“I…” You were at a loss for words. He really wasn’t giving up. One last flash of his cocky smile and he was gone…

“Y/N!” A voice calls out. You turn to see a bubbly Izuku Midoriya. “Hey you okay? You’ve been acting kinda off lately. Hero work getting too much?” He was sweet. Always worrying about you.
“Hey Zu, I’m alright. Just a lot of things on my mind.”
Midoriya nodded with a slight frown. His bottom lip pursed into a pout. “I get that… Well I hope you’re okay! Always here if you need me!” He beamed.
“ThanksDeku.” He laughs as you impersonate the angry pomeranian that is Bakugo. You ruffle his hair and smile to him. “Hey…” Midoriya’s eyes quickly shot up to yours. “Can I ask you something?”
“Of course!”
“If you had to make a choice…” You pause gathering your thoughts. “And one of the outcomes is so morally wrong but you know deep down… you want it, what would you do?”
Midoriya spoke no words to you. He mumbled at the speed of light to himself before snapping out of it. “I think… if it isn’t hurting anybody then it can’t be too awful.”
An odd sense of guilt washed over you. Dabi was a villain. IS a villain. “Thanks.” You urge yourself to say.
“No problem!”
As you trail off into the distance, you pull out your phone. “Hey, Keigo? I need a favour.”

Dabi lazily slouched himself over the bar. Yawning at the lacking excitement going on the in league.
“What’s up with scars over there?” Shigaraki hisses to Kurogiri.
Kurogiri shrugs whilst cleaning a glass. “Wouldn’t know. He seems bored to me.” With all the heroes quickly putting stops to every plan they demised, it was no wonder there wasn’t much to do.
The door to the bar swung open. They turned to see a grinning Hawks standing beside you, a lowranking hero that they knew was powerful. “Hey hey hey! How we doin’ folks?” Hawks boasted.
“Y/N…” Dabi smirked as he lifted his head from the bar.
“You’re coming with me.” You say, gripping him by the collar.
“Yes ma’am.” He chuckles, sending a quick ‘it’s fine’ signal to the other league members.

“So… looks like you’ve come to find me–”
“Zip it pyromaniac.” You say, staring him down with your arms folded over your chest. “You better listen real close, understand.” He licked his teeth with a smoulder and nods. “If this is happening, I have a few rules.”
“Why of course Miss Goody.”
You roll your eyes. “I’m not going to protect you.” He seems taken aback. “You so much as pickpocket someone or graffiti something, I will take you in. Don’t think that this…” You hesitate as you reach the word. “relationship… is a ticket to doing whatever the hell you want, because it’s not.” Dabi remains silent, nodding gently along with your words. “I will try and lure you into traps. I will do whatever i can in my power to take you down. Am I understood?” You take a deep breath and await his response.
“That’s all?” He asks smugly. “Understood every word from your cute little mouth.”
You frown as your cheeks flush. “W-well good!” You scramble after your confidence. “As long as I’m protecting the streets, I don’t want to hear your name even muttered.”
“Can’t promise that, Princess.” Dabi lifts his hand to your face. Thumb grazing over your bottom lip. “So. The verdict?” He raises an eyebrow.
“I guess we can give it a shot.” You mumble under your breath.
“So cute–” He grips his hands beneath your thighs and lifts you up, wrapping your legs around his waist. “I can’t wait to corrupt my pretty little doll.” One last smirk, one you had seen so many times in the past few years. Holding you steady with one arm, he used his free one to pull you in to his lips by the nape of your neck.
You pull back from the kiss. “You’d better not be using me.” You growl.
“Never, Princess.”

Hiya! Welcome back for those of you who are coming from part 1. If you haven’t read part 1 please do that or this might not make sense. Click here for the link.

Aside from all the chaos of two years ago, your graduation seemed to go smoothly. Things were finally falling into place. You ended up getting your pro hero license and now serving the community as its lowranking #402 hero.
Certain people gained a liking to you from the start and without them or the help of your friends, you wouldn’t be in the position you were.
That is… in general, not in this very moment.

“Kamui Woods there’s still someone under that rubble! The buildings gonna collapse!”
“I’m on it!”
Another day, another villain. Well… more like bad guy. Villain is a strong word.
As you step out into the panicked streets you take notice of everything around you. Some towers torn down, injured civilians, heroes scattered to do what they can. You search for the root of this madness. As your legs carry you to the huddled crowd you notice a man using an unknown quirk to tear down the city.
“Woods!” You call out, pushing past the crowd. “Be ready cos when I do my thing I need you to jump in and restrain the big guy.” He nods at you and runs towards the man. When you notice him just close enough, you focus your attention, stripping the eyesight away from the man who caused all this destruction. His panic made obvious as he held his palms to his eyes.
“NOW!” You call out. Your strength against your quirks backfires improved severely since school. The effect it had on your own senses took far longer to work on you.
The branches of the hero wrapped around the criminal. It was over. Now all that was left was to check on civilians.

“Great job today.” Shinji smiled. “You’ve definitely improved since the internship.”
You sigh with relief. “Thanks. Did everyone make it out okay?”
“As far as I’ve been informed, no casualties.”
“Awesome.” As the two of you walked down the lowly lit street a group of teenages recognised you.
“Omg! Can we get a picture!” One of them asks.
You laugh and pat Shinji on the back. “All you buddy.” Not many people knew who you were. Of course, that didn’t really bother you though. You were a hero to save lives, not for the attention.
“But you’re Sixth Sense! Can we please get one with you too?”
Your head was screaming OMGOMGOMGTHEYRECOGNISEME but your mouth simply stated “sure.”
Few clicks of some phones and you were on your way again.
“I should be heading back.” You say with a yawn.
“Good! Get some rest. I’ll see you later.” Shinji ruffles your hair and continues on the path ahead. You smile to yourself and turn to your left, down an alleyway.

You remember it from somewhere. The walls with burnt residue and an ashy finish. As you take more steps you get an overwhelming feeling of deja vu. You had been here before.
You approach a corner. Half expecting to see people standing there. But who? You weren’t all that sure. Distant images floated in the back of your mind, a tall figure next to a significantly smaller one.
“A memory?” You mumble to yourself, unsure whether or not you made up the beings in your head.
“My oh my, seems someone forgot.” A deep voice mewled from behind you. You froze at the sound, it seemed so familiar. “Hmm how’s about a little refresher?” A large hand rest on your shoulder. You looked over to it, stitched and burned. The memories all came flooding back.
“Oh for fuck sake.” You blurt out. The hand gripped your shoulder and spun you around to face a smirking Dabi.
“Hey Dollface. Been a while huh?”
“What do you want?”
“Easy on the hostility there. I heard you’re a hero now.”
“Oh? And I heard you’re still a wanted criminal.” You face was one of stone. Whatever he was planning, you weren’t going to give in.
“I’m hurt. It’s been so long since we’ve seen each other and not only do you forget but this is how I’m greeted?” So… smug. You wanted to smack the look right off of his face. “I told you I’d see you later.”
He wasn’t wrong there. You remembered his words right before he slipped away from you that day. “You still haven’t answered my question.”
“Hm. So straightforward. It’s been about 2 years, correct? So you’re 19…20?”
“So?”
“So… I’ve been waiting. Ever since that day.” He stepped closer towards you. Your feet doing the exact opposite and moving away.
“Waiting for what?”
His hands slammed against the wall that you unintentionally backed in to, trapping you between his arms. “Be mine.” He growled lowly in your ear…

“Tamakiiiiiiiii~” You call out to your boyfriend who sits with his head buried in a book at his desk. You roll over onto your stomach, awaiting his answer. But alas, nothing. His attention remains solely on a bunch of words on a page. You frown, sure it was exam season, but you had barely heard from him in weeks.  “Oi-“ You pick up a pillow and throw it at the back of his seat.
Tamaki jumps and spins around, “Oh! Sorry I just- I really need to study.” He offers an apologetic look.
You sigh and slump face down into the bed. “You’ve been studying for weeks.” You whine into the mattress, half incoherently. Your ears prick up at the sound of his footsteps towards you.
His hand gently brushes over your head. “I’m really sorry I haven’t been paying attention to you. I just really want to get a good grade.” He kneels on the floor beside the bed you lay on.
You look up with a pout. “You’re gonna get a good grade no matter what, why not just take like a 10-minute break.” Sure, you may seem to be acting unreasonable, but he was the one who invited you to his dorm in the first place. Feelings of disappointed swarm in your stomach.
Tamaki kisses you on the forehead, a crooked smile painting his lips. “Just let me finish this part and then I’ll take a break, okay?”
You sigh and squish your cheek against the bed, staring blankly at the plain walls. “I guess.”

Half an hour passes and Tamaki remains absorbed in his textbook. Part of you wants to throw it out the window, but then again, that’d be a tad dramatic. You pick at your nails, growing impatient. How could you get him to pay attention to you?
And then. Genius struck.
You roll off the bed onto the floor and get on your hands and knees. Slowly, you crawl to the underside of his desk and sit between his legs.
Tamaki looks down at you with a face full of confusion. “What are you-?”
You shush him and tell him to keep working. Reluctantly, he complies with your demand. You lean further forward and catch his pants zipper between your teeth. Tamaki’s breath hitches as he feels your lips graze against his crotch. You look up at him with innocent eyes but a wicked smile as you pull his underwear down, exposing his semi.

“W-what are you doing?” His voice as shaky as always, even without your hand slowly stroking him. His quiet moans are like music to your ears as you graze your tongue over his tip. “I- I need to- need to study.” He whines, his cheeks flushing to a bright red.
“I’m not stopping you. Just keep going.” You smile, licking up his entire length and making him shudder. You already know that he won’t be able to concentrate at a time like this. But, he is persistent to carry on. He glances back down at his textbook and covers his mouth to try and mask any sounds of pleasure.
Purely out of spite, you take it all in your mouth, pushing right to the base where he touches the back of your throat. He groans loudly against his hand and leans his head back.
“Please-” He pants. “I can’t-”
You pull back and wipe the spit from your chin. “Keep studying, Tamaki.” Your hand pumps him as you look up into his desperate eyes. You had always wanted to do this, seeing him fall apart brought you a feeling that just couldn’t be replicated.
Tamaki nods and lets out a breathy exhale. His voice breaking from the sensation as you take him once more, now gaining a stable rhythm. He can’t help but moan along with your movements, no matter how hard he tried, he just couldn’t stay silent.

You try your best to not gag against his overwhelming size. It’s always the quiet ones eh? He throbs from inside your mouth. It’s no wonder he’s so worked up, you two hadn’t done anything for a while now.
His eyes lazily scan over his book, slightly glazed and unable to even comprehend a single sentence on the page. You grin to yourself and swirl your tongue around his tip, earning a soft pant and a hand through your hair. You can’t help but be in awe over his bright cheeks, so cute. He makes such a pretty face for someone doing something so dirty.
“Can’t- can’t hold it in. Pull away!” He whines, looking down at you with an oh so delicious look in his eyes. You ignore his request and tighten the space in your mouth, helping him reach his orgasm faster.
Tamaki covers his mouth as his eyes flutter shut. Turning an even deeper shade of red.

The warm liquid spills into your mouth, coating your tongue and taste buds with his cum. You pull away and lick the remains off your fingers. Once coming to his senses, Tamaki jumps and leans forwards. “Oh my gosh- Spit it out! It’s dirty.” He wipes the corners of your mouth. You shrug and swallow all of it, not caring if it was ‘dirty’ or not. Tamaki squeaks at the sight of it travelling down your throat.
You roll your eyes with a smile and get out from under the desk. Your eyes take notice of him still fully hard, even after coming so much. “Okay, you can keep studying now.” You slightly giggle, knowing he will not be able to focus after that. His chest is still heaving even after the orgasm.

Tamaki can barely even utter a few words in reply, all he can do is nod in a slight daze and try return his attention. While his back is to you, you slip your bottoms off. “Hey Tamaki…” You run your hands over his chest from behind, taking note of his cock still out of his pants. “Can I pretty please sit on your lap?”
Tamaki turns seemingly at the speed of light with eyes as wide as saucers. “Y-yeah just let me-” He goes to pull his underwear back up but your catch his wrist.
“No need.” You smile, hiding malicious intent. You step around to the side of his chair and hover yourself over his lap, intentionally putting his cock inside of you.
Tamaki chokes on his own air. “I- what-?” His body quickly becomes still at the feeling, trying not to move.
You wince at the feeling as you sink further down, finally letting out a gasp once he’s fully inside of you. “Here’s the deal,” You say breathily, looking back at him. “Neither of us are going to move until you finish studying.” Tamaki’s face drops. “Better get to it…” You smirk.

Chapter 1

The start; two little piggies and a pack of wolves

The day had just started like any other.

It was at least another 10 minutes before class started and most of your classmates were already there by the time you walked through the doors.

“Y/N!” Mina called, waving you over as you dumped your bag down next to your seat.

“Morning.” you replied with a smile, pulling a chair to sit next to Kaminari as you listened to them talk about their weekend. Kirishima began talking about a new shop that had opened up near the shopping centre.

The conversations started fading to background noise as you felt a sense of dread wash over you. Nothing had seemed ever so slightly out of place as you entered the classroom, yet the feeling of utter despair still weighed heavy on you as you turned around to try and spot anything peculiar.

There was of course something wrong with the door. A wire, you supposed, chalking it up to another one of Kaminari’s pranks.

Your eyes fell on a small bear perched on top of the teacher’s table, it’s features pulled up in in a large grin as it’s eyes remained still and empty.

“Hey guy, do you know who’s that is-”

Your question was cut short when the door suddenly slammed shut, a click sounding throughout the classroom as it was locked in place. A small shriek left your mouth at the jump scare and you put your hand over your racing heart.

“Um, is this a joke?” Uraraka asked nervously. You could hear your classmates mumble in agreement as your eyes remained on the bear.

“Where is Aizawa senpai?” Midoriya asked.

“I’m not sure.” Todoroki responded.

“Uh guys, should we be worried about that creepy bear?” Hagakure asked, bring everyone’s attention to it as well. At the mention of itself, the bear’s eyes light up, a red glow in one as it jumped up and stood on the table.

“Upupupup…” it started to laugh, bringing it’s hands to it’s mouth as it giggled at the perplexed expressions on everyone’s faces. “Welcome everyone! My name is Monokuma” it cheered. “And we’re going to play a game.”

“No we’re fucking not.” you heard Bakugou curse, his hands clenched in fists as he obviously raged at the stuffed bear. Your friends tried to calm him down and Kirishima put a hand on his shoulder, gently pulling him back.

“The rules are simple.” it continues. “Out of the 20 students in this class, 2 carry a bomb with them.”

“A bomb?” several people gasped, quietly talking among themselves as they questioned if it was telling the truth.

“Yes! However they do not know that they have the bombs, so this way no one can spoil the game. You have three hours to correctly identify them.”

“So we just have to find the right people?” Todoroki asked, a blank look on his face.

“Yes!” it nodded. “And then you just shoot them.”

“I’m so sorry what?” you asked loudly, everyone’s eyes on you at your outburst as they agreed. “We need to kill our friends?”

It nodded excitedly. “Correct! You will have a gun with three bullets and if you can shoot the two people before the time limit is up, everyone else will survive!”

“And if we don’t…?”

“The bombs will activate!” it laughs. “Alrighty, the time starts now!” Monokuma brought out a massive timer, setting it down next to it on the table before also getting out a gun and tossing it towards the middle of the classroom, it hitting a desk before falling to the floor with a loud clatter.

“This is utter bullshit.” Bakugou stated, stepping forward aggressively.

“Bakugou, I think it would be best if we stayed calm.” Iida called out. “We are not yet aware of the repercussions of harming this bear.”

“Calm my ass.” he shouted back. “You losers can kill yourselves all you want but don’t drag me down with you.” He stormed towards the door, a hand reaching for the door handle as you quickly rushed out of your seat and tackled him into the wall beside the door, a massive bear snapping at the air at which his hand would’ve been.

“Holy shit.” you cursed, getting up off him and pulling him to his feet. “Stop being such a pissy kid and listen to Iida.”

“Are you alright Kacchan, Y/N?” Midoriya asked, rushing to where you two stood as an unreadable expression cast across Bakugou’s face. It was rage perhaps, more so disbelief, helplessness, possibly even pity for their current predicament.

He stormed off back to his seat, his friends crowding around him worriedly as Midoriya sent you a slightly pitiful look. You smiled as reassuringly as you could, but the worried gaze in his eyes showed everything.

“Well, that was unfortunate.” the bear called out, shaking it’s head slightly. “We could’ve witnessed some nice hand biting but you missy, just had to get in the way.”

“Well I’m sorry for caring about my friends.” you snapped, leaning back against the wall as you now faced the rest of your classmates.

“But how did you know Y/N?” Yaoyorozu questioned.

“The wire.” you said. “I noticed it when I walked in this morning. Though I thought it was Denki messing around though.”

“W-what?” Kaminari responded, putting both his hands up. “I didn’t do anything I promise. I’m as clueless as the rest of you.”

“That’s something someone guilty would say don’t you think?” Tokoyami asked.

“N-no! I would never-” he began before you cut him off.

“No, I don’t think he has the brain capacity to pull off something like that.” you said. “Also the door closed so harshly could the perpetrator have been someone from the outside?”

“Perhaps.” Todoroki nodded, “however we shouldn’t rule out anything. If they managed to easily install and hide such a dangerous trap in the door then I think it’s possible they altered the door to slam shut and lock.”

“I didn’t even realise the door could be locked.” Sero said.

“I don’t think it originally could.” Yaoyorozu said, biting her finger as she thought about their situation.

“Well what the fuck are we going to do about this?” Bakugou demanded, his arms folded as he leaned back in his chair.

“Is there any way to tell the two people apart?” Shoji asked.

“Well Monokuma, is there?” you inquired.

“Upupup, would you like that to be the first of your three free questions?” it responded.

“Well do we?” you asked, turning back to the rest of the class.

“Well we’ll need to start somewhere so sure?” Tokoyami said.

“W-wait wait wait. You guys aren’t being serious right?” Uraraka cut in, waving her hands in the air frantically as she tried to get everyone’s attention. “I mean, there must be another way to get out of this without killing our friends right?”

“I agree.” Jirou spoke up. “You guys are diving too quickly into this without realising that you’re basically asking for people to be killed.”

“Like I said, this is all so fucking dumb to begin with.” Bakugou grumbled.

“So there must be a way to get out of this without anyone dying.” Asui said, but when no one else responded, she continued. “Guys…?”

A brief silence engulfed the room as everyone remained awkward and pitiful towards themselves.

It lasted for a good minute or two before Uraraka responded. “Y-yes, of course! We just need to work together and everyone can survive.”

The class remained silent as her eyes darted, pleading that this nightmare of a situation was solvable. But most looked away, shuffling or biting on their nails as no one wanted to address the obvious.

The stillness was cut through when Monokuma began laughing again.

“Alrighty, 5 minutes have already passed, chop chop!”

As soon as lessons had finished, everyone rushed to their respective friends, chatting away as a few curious eyes darted toward the new girl.

Bakugou walked up to her desk, his bag already packed and slung over his shoulder. She looked up at him with a small smile. “What is it?”

“Are you not going to pack away?” he grumbled, giving her a look of confusion and she sat still in her seat.

“I don’t see the need to rush.” she replied quietly, starting to gather her pen and books.

“Well if you don’t hurry up and train then you won’t be able to beat those losers.” he declared, grabbing the remaining few textbooks off her desk and stuffing them into her book bag.

“Shall we go?” he asked, raising and eyebrow at her, to which she pursed her lips and nodded.

“Is Bakubro ditching us again?” Kirishima wondered aloud as he watched the two leave the classroom together.

“Yeah, it feel kinda quiet without his constant noise.” Kaminari piped up, a small frown on his face.

“Well I’m sure he’ll join us again soon.” Mina cheered, giving the boys both a smile before looping her arms around their necks. Sero watched from the side with a smile before suggesting that they too should start training soon.

Together the four walked back to the dorms, spotting the two ahead. It was mainly Bakugou who spoke, Y/N nodding in response, occasionally letting out a small reply.

“And your hero work?” he inquired, pushing open the dorm doors and walking to the stairs, her trailing behind him.

“I’m due to start again next week.” she answered. “I guess they’ll call me whenever and pull me out of class. Kind of a bother to be honest.”

“Do you not want to attend school?” he peered back over his shoulder, slowing down his pace so she could walk up the stairs next to him.

“I just don’t really see the point.”

“Why?”

“Well I’m already a pro hero aren’t I?” Her tone was soft yet her replies were sharp and to the point.

“What about middle school? What did you do then?”

“I was home schooled.“

He nodded in reply, unlocking his room and entering. She followed and closed the door behind her, setting her bag down on the floor next to his desk.

“So training?” she asked.

“Yeah. Better to do something productive than stay cooped up in your room all day.” he said. “Did Midnight bring any sports clothes?”

“No.” she shook her head, standing awkwardly in the middle of the room as she watched him run around trying to sort things out for her.

“Here, you can borrow some of mine for now.” he said, pulling out a pair of joggers and a old t shirt. He placed them in her hands and watched as her eyes looked them over continuously. “They’re clean I promise.” he grumbled.

She nodded, content, before walking over to the bathroom, locking the door and getting changed. Although half way through putting the shirt on, her reflection caught her eye. Large ugly lines littered her body, each surrounded by a slightly darker hue that only accented the eyesore. She felt her breath hitch at the sight, tracing each scar with her eyes before she felt her eyesight go blurry with tears.

A knock on the door took her out of her trance, a squeak escaping her mouth in response.

“Have you fallen into the toilet or something?” Bakugou shouted from outside.

“Wait, I’m nearly done.” she responded, hastily pulling the top down and gathering up her neatly folded school uniform in her arms, unlocking the bathroom door and stepping back into his bedroom.

“God woman, you took forever.” he muttered before pointing to a rather large plastic box set next to the wall at the end of his bed. “You can keep your stuff in there if it helps.”

She crouched down and eyed the box for any trace of dust, a small hum showing she was happy before placing down her uniform in the corner.

“You have a few more stuff to put away right?” he spoke up, sighing for dramatic effect.

“Yeah.” she nodded.

“I’ll go downstairs and fill up up our water, come down when you’re done and lock the door.” She once again nodded and he turned to leave the room. “And hurry up.”

“Alright thanks.” she said, hearing him say ‘no problem’ before the door clicked shut.

She hurriedly unpacked the things from the small suitcase Midnight had brought earlier, finding some neatly folded underwear, some pairs of socks and some other things. Settling them all neatly into the box, she closed down the lid, zipped up the suitcase and left the room, making sure to lock the door before walking down the hallway to the stairs.

She pondered about the blonde. She felt no ill intent from him or his words. He was simply harsh and abrasive, a little rough in his social skills but that didn’t mean he was a bad person in any way. She had picked up on his way to try and comfort her, something she was very grateful for. He even went as far to reassure her every time she wondered if something was dirty or not.

“Y/N right?” a voice brought her out of her thoughts and she turned to see a black haired girl walking towards her. “I’m Yaoyorozu but you can just call me Momo, it’s nice to meet you.” she smiled.

She returned the gesture with a small smile and a ‘it’s nice to meet you too’ before asking the other girl if she needed something.

“No not really.” Yaoyorozu said, pausing before continuing with a “I was just wondering why you don’t use the lift?”

“I wasn’t aware there was a lift.” She answered truthfully. “But it’s alright, I could do with a little more exercise lately.”

Yaoyorozu giggled at her comment. “I’m sure you don’t.” she said. “Where are you going? I could perhaps accompany you.”

“I’m just going downstairs to the common room I think.”

“Alright, let’s go.” Yaoyorozu said, taking the lead as the two girls descended the stairs.

“What are you going to do today?” she asked, feeling a need to make sure the girl wasn’t alone in the afternoons, not just as the classes’ vice president but also as a friend.

“Some training with Katsuki.” she replied. The use of Bakugou’s first name had taken Yaoyorozu back, despite her seeing their constant interactions during the school hours.

“Are you two close?” she asked. To pry into someone’s personal life wasn’t something she would normally do, however curiosity was getting the better of her.

Y/N hummed in response as they turned around the corner. She was slightly stuck with having a conversation with someone her age. She didn’t know what they would talk about, or what type of responses would satisfy the other person, however Yaoyorozu was the one directing the conversation and she was grateful that the girl had struck up a conversation with her.

“Not really.” she said curtly, before spotting him leaning against the wall on his phone. “Alright, I’ll see you later Yaoyorozu.”

“Momo’s fine.”

“Thank you Momo.” she bowed slightly before running off to Bakugou, who looked up from his phone.

“Took you long enough. What were you talking about with Ponytail?”

“Nothing much, just introductions.” she answered, taking one of the water bottles from him. “Thanks.”

“Whatever. Come on let’s go.”

His question was half-hearted. To be honest, he didn’t care what the two girls were talking about. God, he didn’t care half the time when people were talking to him, but for some reason the girl next to him did nothing but pipe his interest.

Whenever he saw her or thought of her, his mind would be clouded by questions. Was she okay? Why was she such a clean freak? Was his food today okay? He knew she had complimented it during lunch but his insecurities grew with along the pride that prevented him from voicing out his thoughts.

A question that rattled his mind for hours on end was what did she think of him?

She was utterly thankful. She had voiced her thanks the previous night, but not even words could describe the happiness she felt when she was with her first out-of-hero-work friend. She was elated, although it was hard to tell from her short replies and seemingly uninterested persona. She was so grateful

that he stayed

by her side.

This whole situation was just stupid. You where fighting over nonsense again. Normally you two would give each other the silence treatment for a few hours and that’s it, but this time it was somehow different.
“Everything would be so much easier if you weren’t clinging to me all the time, it’s fucking annoying!” Dabi screamed at you, blue flames coming up from his patched up skin.

That was a damn lie, he loved it when you would show him affection – but the anger got the best of him.

You immediately froze. Sure he could get mad sometimes, but never to the point where he would say such hurtful things to you. The feeling of disappointment spread over your whole body.
Disappointed in Dabi? Disappointed in yourself? Maybe with the whole situation you got yourself into.

Not knowing how to handle it any further you stormed of. All you wanted was some space right now.

Dabi grabbed you by your wrist.
“I swear I didn’t -”

You flinched away in pain. A sharp burn coming from your wrist. Dabi pulled away immediately, probably just as shocked as you were.

Looking at your wrist you were able to make out a red ring, right where Dabi grabbed it.
Not one of you said a word, just looking at your burned wrist.
After you realized what just happened you turned on your heel and left.
“It wasn’t on purpose.” he breathed, fully aware that you couldn’t hear him anymore.

You woke up from a sudden bang. With a loud sight your eyes fluttered open, just to remember that you were still lingering at the run down LOV’s base. Laying on a hard wooden bed with only a blanked under you for at least a little bit of comfort. Starring up at the ceiling, a dim light was flickering right above you. Starting to stretch your tense back you could hear another loud bang and some mumbled but coarse screaming from the bathroom next to the room you were sleeping in.

Looking over to the undone bed in the corner, you noticed that Dabi was nowhere to be seen.

A loud shatter made you jump.
Was that some glass breaking?
You hopped from your bed and went straight for the bathroom door. Ignoring your inner voice that told you to knock, you opened the door ungraciously.

The scene in front of you made you freeze for a second.
Dabi was standing in front of a shattered mirror, blood dripping down into the sink. His hands were clashed on the edge of it.
He abruptly looked over to you which made you flinch. His full attention was on you now. The stitches in his face looked like the were torn open.
Did he do that to himself?

Grabbing a bigger piece of broken glass he threw it directly at you.
“Get the fuck out of here!”

You blocked the piece of glass from hurting your face with your arms.
“Stop that bullshit!” you said sternly “Did something happen? What’s going on?”
Normally Dabi would discipline you for talking to him like that, but this time he just growled.

“This is non of you businesses.”

His left hand wandered to his right wrist, scathing the already lose stitches open.
Oh, so he really did all that to himself.

You didn’t say anything. Not a single word. You just walked up to him from behind and wrapped your arms around his shaking body, blocking his arms from hurting himself even more.

It was obvious that Dabi could shake you off easily if he wanted to, but he didn’t move an inch.
“Why are you doing that?” he whispered with a raspy voice.

Why am I doing it? I shouldn’t care about him the way I do. I should hate him for kidnapping me. I should hate him for hurting me.

You definitely hated him in the beginning, but now? You weren’t sure. He was a fragment of your life for quiet a while now. Whether you wanted that was a whole different story.

Did I catch some kind of Stockholm Syndrome?

You couldn’t give Dabi an answer. So you just kept clinging on him for dear life until he stopped shaking and his breathing calmed down.
Maybe it’s Stockholm Syndrome, but maybe it’s just the pure affection you build up for the man in front of you.

You ever think about something simple and wonder if a sunshine boy would snap if you did it in front of them?

For example, you’re going about your day in a large hoodie that’s so damn comfy and long you don’t have to wear pants. You’re just going about your morning, trying to make yourself some food or a beverage, and then in comes your sunshine boy trying very hard to not bend you over the counter because that cute ass is tempting him every time you reach up to grab whatever it is that you need.

And then the second that the hoodie rides up to reveal your panties, he just fuckingloses it and pins you to the counter, your back pressed against him with no room to escape while he breathes down your neck. “Babe if you keep teasing me, this sweet ass of yours is going to be purple by the time I’m done.”

“I’m just making myself something for breakfast?”

You damn tease.”

Which hero would be your ideal partner? | Neito Monoma x Reader

Summary: BuzzFeed invites you and Monoma to take a quiz.

Masterlist

When your agent told you about the BuzzFeed invitation, you weren’t planning on participating. You could use that time to patrol and save lives but your agent thought it was a good idea for people to see you differently and thus be able to rise in the ranking of heroes. You kept denying yourself…until Monoma told you that he wasn’t going to participate if you didn’t go with him. You didn’t want the Monoma agent to assassinate you so you ended up agreeing.

This is how you and Monoma ended up in a recording studio. The only reason why you didn’t feel uncomfortable was that you were meeting the blonde, if you had to do this with another hero you would surely be wanting to escape or you would have asked Shinso to call you saying that there was an emergency so they will let you go.

“In 3 … 2 … 1” the director warned.

“Hi, I’m Y / n, H / N” you started as you were told before while they were doing your and Monoma makeup.

“And I am Neito Monoma, Phantom Thief”

“And we are going to do this test” Which hero would be your ideal partner? “You finished with a small smile.

"Let’s get started”

“Oh no,” you said when reading the first question.

“Why are you so nervous? It’s just a test” the blonde scoffed “Are you kidding me? The first question is, what traits characterize you the most? It’s not difficult”

“It is to me” you pouted and Monoma laughed “Which one should I put? Help me”

You looked at the options again: sweet, smart, funny, patient, impatient, stubborn, brave.

“You are supposed to take the test, not me” he replied making you take your eyes off the screen.

“Neito, don’t be bad”

The blond man took your computer out and marked the answers and then gave you the laptop again, you couldn’t see what options he marked because he had already gone on to the next question.

“If you could choose to live in a fictional world, which would you choose?” you read and peeked out to see what Monoma answered “Really? Game of Thrones?”

“What’s wrong with it?”

“You would end up dead”

“Hey, that was very offensive” he complained “I can survive Game of Thrones. I could even win the Iron Throne” he smiled at the camera.

“Sure” you answered without paying much attention to making his smile disappear.

“Y / n!”

“Well, you will survive the Game of Thrones … thanks to me” You laughed when you saw how Monoma’s proud expression disappeared.

“Wait, did you choose Game of Thrones too?”

“Yes”

“You are copying yourself!”

“I’m not doing!”

They argued for a few minutes before the director tells them to move on to the next question.

“Ideal date” you repeated after reading the question “It’s difficult, I haven’t had a date for ages” you admitted, surprising your partner.

“Really?”

“Yeah”

“But you are beautiful and funny,” said the blonde without understanding.

You didn’t have to be given a mirror to know that you were blushing. You couldn’t believe Phantom Thief would have told you that so naturally despite the cameras.

“Thank you,” you said and brought your face closer to the screen hoping that that way the cameramen could not take a good shot of your blush.

“Hey, stay away, you will ruin your view,” said the blonde making you go back to your old position “I can’t allow you to hide your beautiful eyes behind glasses”

“Neito Monoma!”

He laughed as he watched you blush redder.

“Please tell me what are they going to cut that out,” you asked the production, clasping your hands in supplication.

After that, they kept answering the questions until they finally reached the end.

“Why are you so nervous?” He made fun of you because you were impatient and you kept moving your fingers against the table, while they waited for him to load the result of your test,

Of course, you weren’t going to answer that you were afraid of his reaction if someone other than him were to touch you. You knew this was a stupid test but you could already see how Monoma was going to lose her temper if it turned out that Dynamight was your ideal partner. In addition, you could already see how some of your followers began to ship with any hero that came out as the result.

“You touched me”

You felt a weight disappear from your shoulders when you saw the photo of your favorite blonde.

“Of course I was going out! I’m your boyfriend!” he laughed as he hugged you by the shoulders.

Of course, your boyfriend was going to take this opportunity to publicly announce that they were in a relationship. You should not be surprised, there was something he had bothered so much that you will agree to go with him.

“Kendo touched you”

Phantom Thief’s laugh stopped the instant he heard you, he hadn’t seen the result of it because he was confident that you would come out, and he quickly looked at the screen of the computer they were given.

“Y / n! You’re a liar” he complained when he saw that you lied to him, he took his computer and turned it in so that the camera will focus on the true result: you “You scared me”

“Sorry” you laughed and gave him a short kiss.

It didn’t surprise you that when the video came out you two were trending on Twitter.

I made a kofi so if you want you can help me by giving me a tip or asking for a commission: https://ko-fi.com/mai_dragoste

I would greatly appreciate it

Do you love me? | Shoto Todoroki x Reader

Summary: Harry Potter AU. Shoto breaks your heart.

Masterlist

Serie Hogwarts/ Harry Potter AU: Kirishima,Denki

Warning: Angst.

You knew what you were going to do was wrong. You knew this could ruin your relationship with Shoto forever. This could end in two ways: he broke your heart or you broke the trust he has in you.

You shouldn’t give Shoto Veritaserum without his consent. You never thought you were going to get to this point. You were desperate and you need to know the truth. You need to know if he loves you or he is only with you because his father wants that. You couldn’t marry Shoto without knowing it first.

“Do you love me?” you asked after seeing how he finished drinking the glass of wine that you had served him.

A part of you already knew the answer. Shoto’s eyes never transmitted love to you, his kisses were scarce and when he gave them they seemed to be more out of obligation than out of love, and if his kisses were scarce not to mention his “masters” who felt empty. In the first months of your relationship, you thought that over time I would be more open with his feelings. But the years passed and everything remained the same, you didn’t believe that he really loved you. For a moment you had hope when he proposed to you but he didn’t even seem interested in the wedding. Every time you asked him something like What flowers do you prefer? o What flavor should the cake be? He told you that you would choose what you like the most. Hell, even Enji seemed more interested in always asking when the wedding would be.

“No” the answer came so naturally from their lips that they were both surprised.

No further questions were required. You had what you wanted to know. Without saying a word you got up from the table, ignoring Shoto’s calls, and left. There was no point staying to listen to him, what explanation was he going to give you? He had lied to you for years. No matter what Shoto said, the damage was done.

They discover that his girlfriend is a cosplayer

Masterlist

Part 1: Bakugo and Dabi

Izuku Midoriya

❖ He found out from Mineta …

Aizawa hadn’t come to the classroom yet so you were talking to Izuku about the new series you were watching when Mineta spoke:

“Hey Y / n, the Black Widow cosplay was hot,” she said getting everyone’s attention.

“I thought I had blocked your account” you replied with a frown.

“Do you cosplay?” the green-haired boy asked in surprise.

“I thought you already knew,” you said just as surprised.

❖ Weeks ago you had sent photos to Izuku with different All Might wigs. He thought you were just playing around, not that you bought the wigs to cosplay.

❖ After the revelation Izuku started stalking your Tik Tok account, he liked and left nice comments … he also reported every new account that Mineta became.

❖Do you want to cosplay Mystique or Starfire? Don’t worry, your precious boyfriend has no problem helping you with the painting.

❖ Don’t you know what cosplay to do? It’s okay! Izuku can tell you hundreds of hero names.

❖ Izuku has no problem helping you record although he sometimes can’t help but utter a “cute” or “cute” in the middle of the recording causing the two of you to blush.

❖ Your followers already know of the existence of your boyfriend thanks to that.

❖ You noticed that Izuku looked a lot at your All Might costumes and wigs so you suggested that they do a cosplay together.

❖ And that’s how they ended an All Might and Sir Nighteye cosplay… Because of you people began to ship the two heroes.

“Next time we can be Eraserhead and Present Mic,” you said already starting to look for their costumes online.

On the other hand, Izuku was panicking thinking how this could have angered his mentors. He was still safe because All Might nor Nighteye texted him.

“Are you crazy? Do you want Aizawa sensei to kick us out of class?”

“It’s just a cosplay” you pouted but still couldn’t get away with it.

Shoto Todoroki

❖ He found out from you, you told him … Of course, Shoto had no idea what cosplay was so you had to tell him to explain everything.

“Why do you do it?” asked your boyfriend “You don’t earn anything”

You didn’t take it the wrong way, you knew he was just curious.

“I’m just having fun”

❖Shoto doesn’t really care; he just likes everything even though he has no idea what character you’re in costume.

❖ Sometimes he helps you style your wigs. At first, he did it just because he wanted to spend time with you but then he ended up liking it, for some reason relaxes him.

❖After hearing Bakugo call Shoto “copy of Zuko” you couldn’t stop thinking about your boyfriend dressed as Zuko.

❖ One day you took courage and asked him to do a cosplay with you. You wanted him to be Zuko while you would be Katara.

“Shoto, I’d like you to cosplay with me,” you said in the middle of lunch “Just if you want, I don’t want you to feel obligated” you clarified quickly while moving your hands nervously.

“Okay” he replied taking your hands making you blush “Show me”

❖ And that’s how Shoto ended up watching Avatar with you.

❖ Taking advantage of the fact that Endeavor wanted to fix their relationship, Shoto used the old man’s card to buy the best quality costumes.

❖ You thought that Shoto was only going to want to take pictures so you were surprised when he saw that he was learning the dialogues of some scenes to be able to do tik toks.

“Why do you pause it all the time?” you asked confused.

“I’m writing the dialogues so I can learn it. I also want to see the expressions well. I don’t want to embarrass you.”

“Aww, Shooo!” you took his face in your hands and began to spread kisses everywhere “You are the best, I would never be ashamed of you” you smiled “Besides just taking pictures of us I’m fine”

❖In the end, they did both. And you two ended up trending on Tik Tok, you managed to increase your followers.

❖ Shoto ended up liking it so they made more videos of different scenes. Even some of the incorrect quotes and Q&A.

Bonus

Y / n: Momo, do you know that you are the person I love the most in the world?

Momo: What do you want?

Y / n: Can you create this costume for me? * you show him an Alice in Wonderland costume * Please!

It’s not your fault | Eijiro Kirishima x Reader

Masterlist

Series Hogwarts/ Harry Potter AU: Denki,Shoto

Summary: Hogwarts AU. You end up in the infirmary.

“Eijiro, you have to go,” you said trying to sound serious but clearly couldn’t take you seriously when you were smiling. But you couldn’t help it when your boyfriend had you in his arms and wouldn’t stop kissing you “Eijiro, I have to go to the library and you have to go to Quidditch practice”

“But I want to be with you” I smile at you.

“We both know that if you come with me you won’t let me study” you try to get away from him “Besides, Tetsutetsu will get angry if you miss practice again”

“Kirishima!”

And just talking about the king of Rome.

“Go, I’ll see you at dinner.” You gave him one last kiss before your boyfriend was dragged away by Tetsutetsu.

But the next time Kirishima saw you it wasn’t at dinner. But in the infirmary. When Mina appeared in the middle of practice and just by looking at her face she knew that something bad had happened to you.

Hogwarts was supposed to be like your second home, you were supposed to be safe. Lies.

Kirishima hated seeing you like this. The red nose, the irritated eyes, and your face full of tears. The worst thing was the embarrassed expression you had. He killed him to see you so destroyed. Shit, you hadn’t done anything wrong. You were not to blame for anything. You are perfect and because of some idiots, you felt ashamed for your roots, for being a muggle daughter. And that was not the worst, the worst thing is that those sons of bitches cornered you and left you marked as if you were won.

Helplessness, disappointment, pain. That was what Eijiro felt. Impotence because he couldn’t do anything because he hadn’t been with you to defend you. Disappointment because he promised that he would never let someone hurt you and now you are in the infirmary with your arm marked with “Mudblood”. Pain because it broke his heart that of all people you had to suffer this.

“I’m sorry” he apologized looking at her hands.

“Hey, it’s not your fault,” you said instantly.

“But…”

“You hurt me?”

“No, but”

You took your boyfriend’s face in your hands making him look you in the eyes “See? You didn’t do anything wrong. You didn’t hurt me, it’s not your fault”

“I should comfort you, instead of you comforting me”

“Well, then starts kissing me” you replied making him laugh a little and you felt your chest get hot as it always did when you heard him laugh.

Eijiro listened to you and kissed you. He spent the rest of the afternoon by your side, filling you with sweet words and hugs until Madam Pomfrey told him it was time to go to rest.

You knew it would be difficult for you to overcome the attack but Kirishima was going to be by your side and every day she was going to remind you that your origins are not a bad thing, that you are perfect just the way you are.

Bonus:

“Guys, you don’t have to accompany me everywhere,” you said looking at the Bakusquad.

You hoped that after the episode your boyfriend would hang out with you all the time, he never wanted to leave you alone, but you didn’t expect your friends to follow his example. You couldn’t even go to the bathroom alone, Mina was with you.

If Kirishima had to go to train for Quidditch matches then you had Bakugo, Sero, Mina, and Denki by your side. The truth at first did not bother you, because you were still a bit scared but after they expelled your attackers you expected this to end.

It literally seemed like you had bodyguards, some classmates were afraid to approach you because they were too intimidated by your companions, exactly Bakugo.

“Are you tired of us?” Mina asked putting a hand on her heart dramatically.

“I did not say that”

“But it seems like you are,” Denki said joining Mina’s drama making you sigh.

“Look, guys, I love you but that’s enough”

“Enough of what?” Sero asked playing dumb, if it wasn’t because you were holding hands with Eijiro you would have hit him.

“Enough of being my bodyguards, I can do things alone, they don’t have to always be watching over me, I can defend myself” you answered with a frown.

“We know, baby. But we’re still worried ”Kirishima admitted kissing your hand.

“So there is no way we will leave you alone,” Bakugo announced.

“I hate all of you”

Kaminari, Bakugou, and Tamaki when they’re s/o is injured in battle

>:)

Warnings: injuries, blood, violence (but nothing explicit), some swearing

-Denki Kaminari-

  • The moment he saw you injured, you were all he could focus on. He didn’t care about the villains getting away, the destruction around him, nothing
  • All he could see was you lying on the ground, red all around
  • You, you, you, you, you is all he thinks as he races to your side
  • His only priority is getting you medical care — to hell with dignity, to hell with those villains
  • He’s shaking, bringing you close and doing everything he can to comfort you, whether it be making bad jokes or petting your hair until help arrives
  • But… let’s say the villain that hurt you stayed. Was still a threat to you
  • Sweet Pikachu boy becomes the stuff of nightmares as he faces that villain
  • Electricity is just rippling off of him, humming and crackling with enough energy to make the hair on your arm stand up if you’re just within 50 feet. His own hair is standing on end, arcs of electricity arcing and jumping from him like dozens of little swords
  • Anyone would be rightfully terrified
  • Especially when they see his eyes — full of a sharp danger that has nothing to do with the electricity bristling through them, sparking with every blink
  • Making sure he’s a safe distance away from you, Kaminari knows he can deal with the villain
  • So he does — swift and brutal, without a moment wasted on showing off or keeping himself safe
  • And then instead of going brain dead, he just stumbles back to your side, gives you a glazed eyed smile, and begins petting your head again as he murmurs that help will be here any second

-Bakugou Katsuki-

  • Bakugou was out for blood the moment yours was staining your clothing
  • He controlled his anger just long enough to make sure you were getting help before he went after that villain
  • And he’s out for blood
  • He’s hurling threats, insults, and curses as he chases that villain, basically screaming himself hoarse
  • He doesn’t hear Kirishima or Sero yelling after him to stop, to chill out before he gets himself killed
  • The only thought on his mind is how limp your body was and how badly this villain needs to pay
  • Bakugou corners the villain, explosions rippling off his hands with this downright feral look in his eyes — he’s going to make it very clear that villains don’t get away with hurting you, that there are consequences that should keep them well away from you
  • Because while Bakugou does know you can usually handle yourself, seeing you like that made him want to make every villain terrified of so much laying a finger on you
  • So he promptly proceeds to beat the shit out of this villain
  • It’s brutal to say the least, and Bakugou plays with the villains nerves a bit — constantly dancing just out of reach, diving between the smoke and dust so the villain can never see the attacks coming
  • Probably replicates your injury on the villain
  • Even as more villains show up to reinforce their partner, Bakugou is only focused on the that hurt you, despite his own growing injuries
  • Sero, Kirishima, and Kaminari had to literally drag Bakugou away from all the villains before he was completely overtaken or the villain was killed, because frankly that villain was in more danger than Bakugou was in
  • Bakugou was tense and snapping for a fight until you were conscious and recovering, at which point everyone breathed a collective sigh of release, both for your well-being and Bakugou finally chilling out

-Amajiki Tamaki-

  • His knees buckled when he saw you go down
  • He was paralyzed for a moment, unable to think beyond your injuries
  • Then he’s rushing for you, blindly darting between any obstacles between you and him
  • The moment he was by you, he summoned some large animal limb — think a wing or fin — to hold you close and shelter you from any more hits
  • He started rambling to you, stuttering blindly as he begged you to stay conscious with him (while also holding back tears because seeing you in pain is like a knife in his chest)
  • He had a painfully gentle hold on you as he suggested to you every self soothing technique he’d ever known, so you wouldn’t panic
  • Tucking you into his chest, he began racing towards the nearest safe place
  • He kept you well away from any conflict because he couldn’t stand the idea of having to leave you while he fought, or worse, seeing you even more hurt
  • If any villain approaches you, he doesn’t think
  • “Don’ttouch them!” is the last thing any villain will hear before being knocked out or thrown far away from you. If you weren’t so focused on your injury, even you would be a caught off guard at how dark his entire expression is
  • That said, he’s shaking so, so bad because he’s scared that he won’t be fast enough, that he’ll drop you, that it’s too late, etc
  • When he finally reaches help, he refuses to leave your side — which is probably a good thing, because his mind is too fixated on you to be any good in a fight
  • Even if he was well away from you when the injury happened, he’ll probably find a way to completely blame himself for it ;-; he’ll be feeling jumpy and nervous we’ll passed the time you’re completely healed

You were once again surrounded by darkness as the quirk user reappeared before you. “So? How was it? Most people end up starting over several times, so congratulations!”

“It was… surprisingly enjoyable?” You weren’t sure how you felt about it. You really just hoped that you weren’t out that long, that no one was too worried about you while you were in the fairytale.

“And? How are we feeling about that special someone, hm?” They winked at you.

“I think I’m going to confess.”

Why am I telling them this? They hit me with their quirk and they’re the whole reason I’m in this mess, so why should they get to know?

“Oh goodie! That’s so exciting! Well, I won’t keep you any longer– go get your mans!"

And suddenly, you were no longer surrounded by darkness, but blinded by light.

As your eyes adjusted, you could make out that you were in Recovery Girl’s office, who was by your side as soon as you gained consciousness.

"How are you feeling dear? You were out for about a day.”

Well that’s a lot shorter than I expected.

“I feel completely fine, just a little tired.” That was a lie. You were more than fine– elated even, which was probably an aftereffect of how happy you were inside the quirk reality.

“Well since it seems that everything’s alright, I’ll send in your boyfriend. He’s refused to go back to the dorms and is probably still waiting outside.”

DFDJSE DID I SOMEHOW GET A BOYFRIEND WHILE I WAS CONKED OUT!!?!?!

“Boyfriend?”

“Are you not dating the Todoroki child? He came in here to visit and was holding your hand.”

HFJGHJFJDJF HE DID WHAT?!?!?

“Um, no we aren’t dating,” you sheepishly replied despite your internal celebration.

“Well, you should hop on that while you have the chance. He seems to really like you,” she said and left to go get him.

Oh my God, Recovery Girl!

You sat flustered on the bed waiting for Shouto. You hyped yourself up to confess, figuring now was as good a time as ever.

When he walked in and to the chair by your bedside, you grew even more flustered just thinking about what you were about to do. You didn’t even notice that he was just as flustered as you were.

Don’t chicken out. Don’t chicken out. Don’t chicken out.

“How are you feeling?” His face was etched with concern. “Aizawa-sensei told us about the quirk you were hit with. Did it have any physical side effects?”

“I’m fine Todoroki. Thank you for your concern though, I really appreciate it.” You smiled up at him, somehow getting even more flustered because all you could think about was the kiss in the fairytale.

“You can call me Shouto.”

FKDIWJENKDWKWN

"Call me Y/N, then.” He smiled at you in response.

He has no right to be this adorable.

You braced yourself for what you were about to do, feeling incredibly nervous. But before you even had the chance to start your confession, Todoroki began one of his own.

“Y/N I was really worried about you and um…” he trailed off.

“Really? You were worried about me?”

“I always get more worried about you than anyone else, even though you’re one of the strongest people I know… I get this feeling in my chest when I’m around you and I had to ask Midoriya what it was.”

If this man doesn’t stop being so goddamn cute, I’m going to have to kiss him.

“And then, the other day when you smiled at me after my training match, I thought I was going to faint. But maybe that was the exhaustion.” He brought his hand up to scratch the back of his neck in embarrassment.

Does this mean he likes me???

He wouldn’t look at you, instead choosing to stare at the opposite wall. He was blushing madly, and you thought it was the most beautiful thing you’d ever seen.

You reached out and took one of his hands in both of yours, causing his eyes to widen. He immediately stopped staring at the wall and instead chose to stare at your newly joined hands.

“Shouto, do you want to know what fairytale that quirk made me go through?” He mumbled a sound that seemed to mean yes, but he was still hyper fixated on your hands, a look of awe on his face.

He is so precious I almost can’t stand it.

“It was Cinderella. I was Cinderella and you were the prince. Even though it wasn’t real, I still managed to fall for you all over again.”

He suddenly shifted his eyes to your face, that same look of awe and wonder now staring directly into your eyes.

“Does that mean you like me too?” He looked so hopeful, his eyes sparkling as they gazed into yours. You couldn’t help but giggle with pure adoration as you nodded.

The two of you started leaning closer together, lost in each other’s eyes, still holding hands. He brought his free hand up to caress the side of your face as he asked, “Can I kiss you?”

You replied not in words, but in leaning up to press your lips against his.

And you lived happily ever after.

It is just taking a little longer than I thought. If I mess up on anything, tell me. And feedback is encouraged. Luv u all. Ɛ> likes and reblogs are appreciated.

Shoto Todoroki

Whenever you were out with Shoto and you saw a kid you would grab his arm and make him look at the small child. He would look at you looking at the small child and his heart would melt because he knew how much you loved kids. You guys thought about having a kid of your own but he was hesitant because he thought that he wouldn’t make a good father. But that was okay with you, you would wait until he was ready. And maybe one day he would be.

Tenya Ida

You both loved kids so much. Especially babies. Whenever Izuku and Uraraka asked you to watch their kids, you guys would immediately say yes! Because how could you guys say no to watching some babies? Tenya and you were both trying for a child but it hasn’t happened yet. But he told you not to worry about it because it will happen sooner or later. So when you found out you were pregnant you immediately ran to his agency and told him he was going to be a father. He was ecstatic he couldn’t wait to hold his baby boy (he is positive its a boy ) in his arms.

Katsuki Bakugo

You loved kids, your boyfriend, Katsuki on the other hand…let’s just say kids annoyed the heckie out of him. You worked with kids everyday and you loved it. You wanted a kid but he said no, not surprising. You begged him, and he still said no. And everytime you would ask he would say “GODDAMMIT WOMEN I DON’T WANT A BABY!!!” So you would let it go and didn’t bring it up again. A few months later Kirishima announced that he was going to be a father. And let me tell you that didn’t sit right with Katsuki. He took you home and fucked you until he put a baby in you. Because if someone was going to be a father it was going to be him not shitty hair.

Izuku Midoriya

My sweet little broccoli boy Deku. *sigh* He loved kids more than you. and that’s saying a lot because you loved kids. You always loved kids and being a teacher let you work with kids everyday. You always like to see your kids excel in their work. And whenever they did something funny you had to tell Deku. Deku lived for the stories you told him about your kids. You guys wanted kids but decided to wait until you guys settled into your new apartment. You both couldn’t wait till that day came.

WHAT WHICH BOY YOU SIMP FOR IN BNHA SAYS ABOUT YOU

i.midoriya, k.bakugou, s.todoroki, d.kaminari, e.kirishima, dabi, s.aizawa

image

disclaimer: this is a generalisation and just a bit of fun. of course not all the descriptions will fit everyone so please take these with a grain of salt. if you are on the sensitive side, just sit this post out bcs i don’t want to offend anyone :( this also does not include EVERYONE in bnha so if you guys really enjoy this one, i will consider doing more!! enjoyyyy. slightnsfw disclaimer.

image

IZUKU MIDORIYA: first of all, i love you. you are the sweetest person ever. but sort your trust issues out. you probably don’t love easily, but once you do love someone, you put your all into it. you just want to love and feel loved. perhaps you have some sort of abandonment issues and liking izuku feels like a safe space. how could a sweetheart like him leave you?? exactly. unrelated but you probably are weird. you give me wheeze laugh vibes as well. your childish but in the best way possible.

BAKUGOU KATSUKI: are you ready to finally go confront your childhood traumas instead of using fanfics/fandoms as a form of escapism? you probably have a degradation kink im not even going to lie. you’ve developed a saviour complex but it’s honestly just a projection of what you wish someone would do for you. you treat your love for katsuki the way you wish others would treat you; loving you past all your flaws. you’re probably, honestly, the nicest, kindest and most selfless person behind the walls you’ve built up. i literally just want to hug you.

SHOUTO TODOROKI: you like hot men with trauma… there’s nothing wrong with that… haha. let me guess, you probably also like akechi, cloud, diluc, venti, xiao. you honestly just probably trauma bonded with todoroki and wish you could treat him better than anyone else in his life. once again PROJECTION. you are a big softy and love affection, but ironically, you are touch starved. you were always told you were mature for your age and definitely dealt with your issues alone. and it shows because you are insanely independent and strong minded. you give me an intelligent and playful vibe. the best of both worlds :)

DENKI KAMINARI: you’re just here for a good time, you know. you picked a boy who was good looking, dumb and flirty. lets be honest, do you lowkey want to feel superior to the people around you? you also self-insert into every scene denki has with jirou…anyways, you’re easily distracted, childish and annoying. you had a nightcore, fnaf phase when you were younger and i know it. you picked denki because you either want to dominate the shit out of him or let him dominate the shit out of you. there’s no in between. you always like those skinny musicians and those playful flirts who you’ll never get a chance with. do you like kaeya and childe by any chance? go touch some grass.

EJIROU KIRISHIMA: you’re a raging bisexual. you actual pick guys who won’t treat you like shit. respect is your number one priority from other people. you definitely like being chased or you like it in theory. unlike the others on this list, you don’t chase. you give me bad bitch vibes (regardless of gender). i feel like despite liking kirishima, you are extremely lazy. yeah, i don’t think he would find that very manly of you. regardless, you just want to be babied and cared for by your partner. you probably like rpg games, some sports and you have those aesthetic home screen layouts. you know the ones i’m talking about. i feel like you’d be incredibly sarcastic 24/7 and a lowkey crybaby :’)

DABI: is everything okay at home? you are one self destructive person. very similar to people who like todoroki, you just love hot guys with trauma. but you’re more spicy. you probably cry over his back story before going to read nsfw fanfics about him… pick a side you horny freaky fuck. lets be honest, you see broken people and think “yes, i can fix them”, right? please be safe out there. i would not even be surprised if you liked the joker or something. i feel like you’re a very fun person though. youre with whatever and love new experience. you are very open minded and always want to see the best in other people. i can’t imagine u being anything but a massive heterosexual… i’m so sorry. unless ur nb/male, then you’re a massive fruit.

SHOTA AIZAWA: daddy issues go brrrr. i’m joking, but seriously you definitely find figures of authority attractive. (not the police tho, fuck them). I feel like you find yourself liking all the “sensei’s” in every anime. do you like gojo and kakashi as well? to be honest, you probably kin aizawa more than you actually like him. i feel like you are probably super hard working once you put your mind to something. like, you’re just super passionate about the things you love! you are a lowkey attention whore and are a bit annoying. i’d say, you’re either super well put together or falling apart completely. you’re probably fruity as well. in conclusion, i love you.

bam’s note : this is a part of @okkatsudon ; “somebody new” collab! it’s always been my dream after watching mha to write this, literally seizing this opportunity as soon as i saw the event!

warnings : angst, unrequited/one sided love, crushing, no happy ending, some cursed words, deja vu, third wheel character, one part is slightly suggestive, long fic (almost 3k words omg wat- )

it was sweet to love him.

you met todoroki on the very first day of school, pretty cherry blossom trees were blooming and portions of petals were falling down the ground.

lost in the scenery, you didn’t took notice of the person walking your way until you bumped into them. all the books and papers you were carrying got knocked to the floor. you instantly apologise to that person and crouch down to collect your things. another hand that’s not yours help pick the few left ones before handing them to you.

that was the first time you got to drown in those mismatched heterochromatic eyes.

a stranger with evenly split hair between two colours; white and red. he was rather well-built and tall for someone around his age. though he has quite a strange large scar on one side of his face. despite that and the seriousness he wore you swear you viewed him as the hottest guy you’ve ever met.

you again haven’t noticed that you were staring at him for far too long until this unknown man need to clear his throat and gently jab the stuffs to you once more. you felt your cheeks burn in embarrassment as you quickly look away and mumbled quiet sorry for your bad manners and thank him for his help.

he only nodded in response before about to turn and resumed back on his way. you interrupted him first by calling out, “what’s your name?”

the man spare you a glance, evidently heard you, still he decided not to reply. making you frown and follow him, proceeding to ask him questions “hey, what’s your class? perhaps we’re on the same one, and with that perhaps-” he suddenly took a turn around the corner, consequence come in you almost tripped on your own feet. this time you managed to grab the wall, then run up to catch up to him. frowning, why is he gotta be so fast?

“hey! wait! you’re still new here like me right? how about we walk to our classroom together? i’m y/n by the way, and was about to head to class 1A. do you perhaps have any idea where-” it was as though all you babble was nix as the arrogant dude, you could call him, doesn’t seem to even give a damn.

but it’s alright, because it seems like he share the same destination as you. 1A label presented in front of you, and the stranger you met earlier already disappear by walking into the room before you can even registered what’s going on.

all your dreams, wishes, hopes, were right here. heart hammering hard in your chest, you felt your body slightly shook in both excitement and anxiousness as you slowly stride after that two colours haired guy.

and your whole life changed ever since.

you later learned by a group of girls you’ve been hanging out with, his name was todoroki. shototodoroki. your eyes and mind were already mindlessly trailing to the figure of him, far away from your friends voices, away from any other environment. he was scribbling something to his note. looking effortlessly so cool, so handsome.

and somehow you were tapping your lips. thinking of a way of trying to get close to him, what a stupid act. you just met him a week ago, but something about him already intrigued you this much??

“y/n. y/n, are you even listening?” mina’s voice snapped you out of your trance. you blinked a couple of times, regaining your attention back to her while searching for a suitable response.

“ah- sorry i got distracted, what was it again?” you lightly scratch your cheek, looking confused.

“are you perhaps interested in todoroki-kun, y/n-chan?” tsuyu pointed out, and uraraka nodded her head in agreement.

“yeah, we saw you were looking at him. is there anything going on between you two?” the browned tilted her head curiously, all the girls turn their head to look at you, too.

“nothing! it’s nothing really, i’ve just been wondering of… a way to…” you nervously switched your gaze anywhere and everywhere but their watchful eyes. trying your best to contain your blush.

“get closer to him…” you quietly whispered to them.

an ‘oooooo’ and squeals buzzed among them, and you have to cover your face up with a hand. glancing one last time at the person who caused all this, you felt your heart skipped a beat when you saw that he was, coincidentally or not, looking at you too.

at lunch, all thanks to the efforts of those girls. makes you sitting beside him right now, finding it hard to get a grip of yourself. blushing like crazy, you can’t help but be a stuttering mess.

“i- uh uhmm- hey, not sure if you remember me. but i’m-”

“i remembered. you were that annoying girl who keep pestering me all the way to my classroom”

the statement make you shock a bit. no, very.

“don’t say that” your eyebrows bundled as you speak, “it’s quite a rude thing to say to someone you don’t know”

mismatched apathetic eyes locked with yours, no emotion showed on his expression as he simply answered, “and it’s also quite rude to keep bothering a stranger who obviously show no interest in being friends already”

his words sharp as a knife, you felt a heavy lump forming in your throat. “i’ll make you change you mind” your voice was quivering, but you were too hurt to care for that. “just you wait”

with that, you got up and marched off. heading straight toward the girl’s bathroom.

guess things always hurt when it’s right.

but being the super determined person you were. you still didn’t give up on the following days, or weeks, or months. the always failed attempts of trying to follow him, be close to him and getting to know him more.

despite each time the boy snapped and stabbed you with hurtful words, the very next day he’ll still find you sitting in his usual spot at the cafeteria. running to the front gate to wait and walk home together.

your girl friends are also behind all these scenes too, silently leaving only you and him to bring the notebooks to the teacher’s room saying they were “busy”. purposefully leave right away to give you two alone time, well not really since they stay at an appropriate distance watching, and when he hurt you again, they always make sure to be there comforting and encouraging you to never loose hope.

and perhaps the world wasn’t too cruel. because eventually the once unconcerned todoroki slowly start to warm up, especially after the u.a. sports festival.

“todoroki-kun~ may i join you for lunch today?” you jovially asked him, despite completely know the common incoming disinterested answer.

though today, much to your surprise, he merely nodded. you stared after him, baffled. and shoto turn his head back to you after a few steps, slightly tilting his head in confusion as if saying, 'what are you waiting for?’

speechlessly gaping, you cannot exactly describe the fluttering feeling in your stomach. 'aw fuck it’ you thought and quickly pursue after him.

that day was the first day you grasp the real meaning of the word 'hope’. all your friends jump and cheer for you afterwards when you return to them.

“cheers to y/n and her soon-to-be boyfriend!” hagakure sang while mina threw her arms around you, blathering nonstop how happy she was for you. laughing at how supportive they all were, as though he was already your s/o, but you must admit that you couldn’t ask for anything better.

from here on out, the former cold relationship between you and shoto seems to grow warmer, like winter slowly turn into spring.

time flies by faster than anyone could imagine, right now most of you guys already received provisional hero license. although todoroki and bakugou still have to go to a special course.

“sho-chann” you called for him late at night when you guys about to parted to your own rooms. “tomorrow’s your first day of the special course right? good luck!”

small smile cracked at your sweet encouragement, he mumbled a thank you. and you grinned back at him, afore, a soft kiss was planted wordlessly against your forehead.

for the 3rd, or 4th time or more counted, that he had made you surprised. although you didn’t get to say a word as he was already pacing away. leaving you brushing your fingers on where the kiss landed, still all fuzzy and blushing.

not to mention that he was smiling to you more often. directly. like after you guys watched some random movies, you deliberately tease him of 'how we should hang out more often’ while shooting him a wink. the stoic man’s upper lips were tugged up in response. and shockingly agreed to what you’ve just said.

HE. DID. SMILE. AT. YOU.

dear god, you weren’t imagining it.

it wasn’t until winter ran by did you confront him. mustering up all the courage you got, you have to say it, no matter what.

“oh, hey y/n” shoto greeted you, coming to meet as requested right outside the dorms. it was nighttime and the only lights available except the moon were from the lamp posts.

“hi sho-chan” you smile in return, nervously fidget with your fingers.

“so what’s up?” the half white red haired questioned curiously. taking silent note at your uneasy posture.

gulping, there’s no turning back now. “do you know that, if you’re confessing on the first snow. the higher chance that your crush’s response might be positive?”

a quizzical look contorted over his face. “really…?” he replied, touching the scarf swathing around his neck. “and what did that has to do with why you called me?”

“i-” you began, then stopped to purse your lips. suddenly snow was falling to your hair. your cheeks were flushed and a smoke flows from your mouth as the words slipped. “i think i like you, sho-chan”

silence settled over you both for a moment. his wide-eye gaze never leaving you, until you have to break it when it’s becoming rather uncomfortable.

“please say something…” you murmured embarrassingly while looking away. making the man clears his throat apologetically and answered.

“i appreciated the feeling you hold towards me, y/n” he paused for a moment, carefully pondering for the right sayings. “but i’m still not so sure of my own feelings yet… could you give me some time first?”

you felt your heart squeezed as he soon excused himself after that. slightly opening your mouth and blinking a few times in frozen position, feeling torn whether to feel sad or continue to stay hopeful.

so you waited. for days, weeks, months, you felt deja vu during so. here you are, waiting for slim chances that’s most likely end up with rejection by him already forgetting given prolong period.

even worse that any time you brought it up, it was always the same answer, 'please give me more time’.

yeah, for sure. but for how long, mr.todoroki?

sighing languidly at this on loop thought, you walk past your empty classroom, about to heading back to your dorm. or so you thought. as you came across an over-limit unexpected scene.

a scene that makes you want to take back the idea you once thought, that perhaps the world wasn’t too cruel. because it definitelyis.

“i- i think i have a crush on you, todoroki-kun!”

similar sentence. yet the person who say it is…

“don’t worry y/n-san” yaoyorozu soothingly rubbed your back, “i’m pretty sure he will see it soon someday” she said with a gentle smile. all the while offering herself to be a shoulder for you to cry on.

why her? why the person who used to always stick by your side?

whywhywhy?

right now you were only listening. but then you start creeping closer, trembling hand slowly crack the door open slightly, only enough to take a peek inside.

you regretted it before you even saw.

hands clutching her skirt. cheeks bashfully tinted red. she spare a second to push her loose soft looking black strands behind her ear and shifted her gaze. the sun was setting down out the window, giving the room beautiful pale red, orange, purple, and yellow light. what a romantic sight for sore eyes…

“i know you might not feel the same. and that it’s super inappropriate for me to confess to you even though you’re still in the middle of giving y/n-san an answer. i’m so sorry, but i really like you. i- i-

no. no. no.

todoroki cuts her off by pulling her into a passionate kiss. momo, without hesitation, promptly give in to the kiss and pull him closer. and he reciprocated by letting his hands roam over to her hips. before gently gripping them and angled his head to deepen the kiss.

your hands and blood run cold. you felt your whole body went numb as you have to bring a hand up to cover your broken sobs. trying your hardest to contain the… too late, the tears were already streaming down your cheeks. and you felt your heart wrench painfully at the sight before you. it was agonising really.

to learn that all your efforts were all for nothing.

and your body moves its way, out of control. the door was forcefully hauled open by you all of the sudden. startling the people inside, they froze abruptly before immediately pull away. shock, embarrassment and shame painted clear on their faces.

you still not dare to say a word, only tremulously stare at both of them while more tears brimming at the edge of your eyes.

they look as if they want to say something, but momo kept quiet and dropped her gaze to the ground. and the young man hesitated to reach his hand out to you, mouth in motion of gaping and closing.

“it’s not what you think, y/n… i can explain-”

“right now i do not want to hear it shoto” you clenched your hands into tight fists, and bit your lips as hard as you could.

“please excuse me” eyes cold and unreadable expression, you make a quick turn on your heels and stormed out. ignoring all the shouts and names calling for you.

“y/n i-”

“shut up!”

about a couple of hours later, you were in your room. shoto was also trailing behind you, wanting badly to apologise and make things up with you.

but to no avail, he only make you cry harder, angrier. to be specific.

“why didn’t you tell me in the first place shoto? why didn’t you tell me that you weren’t interested in me? so i didn’t have to hold hopes and wait for so long!?”

the guy went silent. regrets and guilt were heavy in his chest, and he could only flinched when you screamed “answer me!” in his face.

“i’m so sorry y/n…” was all he mumbled, tears todoroki didn’t know he was holding back starts to fall down.

you should’ve known.

you should’ve known of the fact why you always saw them together. getting along incredibly well even at the beginning where he was still cold towards you.

now you began to understand that gentle look on his face when he wipe the foam from the iced latte off her mouth. unintentionally linger his hand there far too long, that alone was enough to tell that the half white red haired adored her.

or when he was always willing to stay up late just to comfort and listen to her rambling all her overthinking doubts and problems. be there for her whenever she needs him and help her with everything he could…

something he never do for you.

ah,fuck this world.

fuck this cruel world.

“y/n i didn’t mean to…” the man look away. trying to find words for explanation. this is probably the first time you ever saw him like this. so vulnerable and lost.

his current state almost makes you want to forgive him, if what he’d done to you was something more forgivable.

“i-”

“no, don’t even waste time on elaborating. i should be the one who say sorry” his heterochromatic eyes immediately jump up to yours in surprised and confusion. even so you continued, “none of this was your fault, i was out of my mind. i’m sorry. it should’ve been your choice to choose who you want to be with”

wiping a hand over one of your teary eyes, you felt as if hundreds of knives were stabbing you. suffocating and agonising pain seeped through you over and over.

“y/n…”

you tried to bit back the huge waterfall and pent-up emotions that threatened to escape you anytime as you choked out the last words.

“it’s okay sho… just go love her”
