Shouldn’t You Be With Them?

MHA Headcanon

Getting upset with the partner after basically being ignored and/or forgotten.

Featuring: Bakugo Katsuki, Kirishima Eijiro, Kaminari Denki, Todoroki Shoto, Midoriya Izuku, & Shinso Hitoshi

Bakugo: You know your boyfriend is not used to the ways of relationship but he is not clueless either. He just never really had a reason to think about it Until now.

I was sitting on a couch in the common room holding a pillow in my lap. I had been sitting here for a few hours actually waiting for my MIA Boyfriend. He wasn’t really MIA but he might as well have been. I groaned out loud, throwing my head back.

“What’s up, L/N?” I jumped slightly before turning to see Shoji.

“Oh, just waiting in vain.”

“Again?” He leant against the arm of the couch. I nodded. “Have you tried to talk to him?”

“Never get the moment because I only see him in class or in passing. He’s never there long enough for me to say anything more than hi.” I vented. “Sorry Shoji.”

“It’s alright.” He shrugged. “You have a reason to be upset.”

Yeah.“ I bit my lip and looked at the clock. "Well, it’s getting late. I’m going to head to bed. Night.”

“Goodnight.” I got up and set the pillow aside. I walked to the elevator and went to bed. I went to sleep annoyed.

The next morning I got up and got ready for class, deciding to skip breakfast. I walked out of the elevator while putting in my earphones. I walked through the lobby to go out the door.

“Hey babe!” I heard Bakugo call out to me. “I got some breakfast for you. Come on and eat!” I acted like I didn’t hear him and continued to put on my shoes. “Baby?”

“Aw, Bakugo acting cute.” I heard Kami tease Bakugo.

“Shut up Spark Plug!” He snapped and while he was distracted I darted out the door.

All day I could feel Bakugo giving me strange looks. I would meet his eyes and smile like nothing was wrong and go back to what I was doing. I sat with him like normal at lunch and when he asked why I didn’t respond this morning, I told him I had earphones in.

“Thanks L/N for the help on the homework. I owe you one.” Midoriya said as he packed up his Stuff.

“It’s no problem, Midoriya. Glad to help.” I smiled and finished up what I was writing. He left and I relaxed back into the couch. I felt someone sit down next to me. When they put they’re com cround me, I knew instantly who it was.

“Hey blasty.”

“Ugh. I curse whoever came up with that nickname.” I giggled softly before looking at him. I went to say something but Kiri walked over and they started up a conversation. I heard them talk about a hiking trip and started to get annoyed. I huffed silently and tuned them out. “Babe?”

“Hmm?” I turned back. He had his eyes narrowed at me. I was expecting him to tell me he had to go. I waited and looked at him expectantly.

“What?” He asked in response.

“Oh, nothing.” I said before turning away. I Scooted forward and reached down for my bag to put my school stuff away. I felt him grab my arm gently and pull me back.

“It’s something. You’ve been acting Weird all day.” He says before cupping my cheek. “What’s up?”

“Oh it’s just…” I pause asking myself if I really was going to do this now. “Shouldn’t you be with Kiri? I mean you shouldn’t just drop any PLANS you have with him to spend time with me. It’s not like I’m that important.” I got up and walked away. I heard him stuttering to find words behind me but I was already up the stairs before he could find any.

Kirishima: I walked around, searching for my red headed boyfriend. We haven’t got to spend a lot of time together lately. He had been doing some extra training and had some time with the Bakusquad. I don’t mind but sometimes I wonder if he prefers to not spend time with me.

“Hey Bakugo, have you seen Kiri?” I came up behind the blonde on the couch. He leant his head back and looked at me upside down.

“I think he’s with Spark plug & raccoon eyes.” He said while eying me.

“Oh…” I felt a slight disappointment. The feeling must have shown on my face because he moved and gave me his full attention.

“I only think. They were together earlier.” I sighed, appreciating his try even though he probably doesn’t care.

“They’re always together.” I mumbled before turning away. I felt him grab my hand before letting go.

I walked out to get some air. I heard footsteps following me. I knew it was Bakugo and we walked together. After a minute we heard familiar voices.

“Hey Bakubro, Hey babe!” Kiri called. I looked cuel smiced. “What are you up to?”

“Oh, nothing just getting some air.” I felt a small nudge on my back. I looked at Bakugo and he motioned to the red head. “Was also looking for you to see what you were up too.”

“Oh, Kami, Mina, and I were going to the movies.” A shout from Kami got his attention. I felt the insecure feeling rise in my chest. He really didn’t care to spend time with me anymore. “Gotta go.”

“Shitty hair!” Bakugo yelled but I was already walking away wiping tears away. “L/N!”

I was sitting in a window just staring out when they came back. They were all raving about the movie. Bakugo hadn’t left you alone in the room. I heard him and Kiri talk before footsteps came up to me. I looked and saw Kiri.

“Hey there.” He smiled. I just turned back to the window without a word. “What’s wrong? You’re acting weird.”

“It’s nothing, Kiri.” I waved off. He grabbed my hand.

“Don’t give me that.” He pushed softly. I looked at him. I was about to give into his puppy eyes when I heard Mina call for him. He looked at her and Bakugo snapped at her.

“Shouldn’t you be with them?” His eyes were back on me in a second.

“What?”

“Mina & Kaminari. Shouldn’t you be hanging with them? I mean, they’re more fun then I am so don’t waste your time on me.” I said and got up. I pulled my hand from his grip with some needed force. I walked silently through to and up the stairs, last thing I heard being Bakugo yelling.

Kaminari: I watched as Denki bounced around trying to figure out how to get into Shinso’s good Graces. Ever since the training exercise when he first joined our class, Denk’s has been bound determined to his friend. The purple haired boy was ‘being difficult’ to quote Denki.

“I just can’t figure it out. I’m an amazing guy with a wonderful personality. How could he not want to be friends with me?” I looked over my Switch at him. I pushed down the annoyance. Shinso is all he could talk about anymore.

“You are kind of a pervert sometimes. And hyperactive.” I said with a cheeky smile. He glared at me for a solid minute.

“Well you’re not wrong but I wouldn’t be perverted to him. Even though he is hot.” I shrugged and nodded. He sat down next to me. “Plus you love me this way.”

“Do I?” I teased. He shoved me before going into another brainstorming session. I was about to snuggle up to him when he jumped up.

“Got it!” He yelled and ran from the room without even saying goodbye.

“De-Denki!” I yelled after him. “Hey I thought it was game night…” He was already long gone. I groaned in irritation. I got up and walked down to the common room. Midoriya, Roki, Mineta, and Sero were there. “Have any of you seen my electric ferret tumble through here?”

“Electric ferret?” Todoroki looked at me weird. Sero burst out laughing. Todoroki looked at him confused.

“Kaminari just ran out saying he’s cracked Shinso.” Sero said. My jaw dropped before clamping shut in growing irritation. I saw Sero cringe a little. “Drop a date again?”

“More like ran out on one. Thanks guys.”

“I can keep you company.” I turned to see Mineta before shoving him. I walked to the elevator. As I got in I heard Todoroki.

“Why did they call him an electric ferret though?” I heard them laughing.

“It was a joke, Roki. A nickname of Sorts. Because of his quirk & hyperactivity …”

The next few days could almost prove Denki didn’t exist in my world. My texts were ignored. I could never catch him in person. He was nowhere to be seen at lunch. It would have been as if he never existed if I hadn’t seen him in class. That is until I heard a familiar knock on the door.

“Yes?” I ripped my door open. I was beyond pissed off.

“Heya!” He went to come in but I put my arm across the opening. He looked at me confused. “What’s up, baby?”

“You remembered I exist.” I stated with venom laced in my voice. His eyes widened in shock.

“How could I forget? Baby, what’s got you so uptight?” He flinched at his choice of words immediately after they left his lips. I shook my head, holding my tongue.

“Shouldn’t you be with Shinso? You haven’t been anywhere else as of late.” I snapped before slamming the door in his face.

Todoroki: I watched as Midoriya showed something to Roki. He seemed to be very entranced by whatever it was. I sighed looking back at the paper in my hand. It was tickets to the movie he had been waiting to see.

“Hey, love?” I walked over. He looked up at me and gave me a smile. I waved at Midoriya who returned before going back to his book excitedly.

“What is it, darling?”

“Are you busy this afternoon?” I asked hopefully. He nodded.

“Yeah, Midoriya & I are going to Watch and analyze some training video’s. Try and figure out if We can learn some new Moves.” He said simply.

“Oh, okay.” I hid my disappointment. “So that will be the rest of your afternoon?”

“Yep.” He nodded before looking at his phone. I sighed before looking at Midoriya. He had a sorry look on his face that I just waved off. I kissed Shoto’s cheek. “Alright, have fun and be Safe.”

It has been like this for a while now. I would ask if he wanted to hang out but he would already have plans with Midoriya to study, train, or something else. At first, I was fine with it. I mean he was new to the friends thing and was making up for lost time. Also, he wasn’t used to the concept of a relationship either. Now, I was getting more and more upset. Enough to overshadow the understanding.

“See ya, L/N!” Kiri called as he walked past.

“See ya! Have fun at your moms!” I waved as he went out the door. I went back to my room to grab my bags. As I zipped it up there was a knock on the door.

“Hey love, I was thinking, Oh… Are you going somewhere for the weekend?” I turned and saw Todoroki standing there.

“Yeah. My sister and I are going to a hot spring spa for the weekend.”

“Oh. I didn’t realize you had plans. I was hoping to spend the weekend with you.” He said sadly. I couldn’t hold back tere eye roll and mutter.

“Like you’ve been there to know if I had plans or not.”

“What?” He asked. I sighed heavily before throwing the bag on my shoulder.

“Look, I’m sorry to disappoint you. We’ll have to make up for it another time. But shouldn’t you…” I paused before Snapping at him, completely over it. “Shouldn’t you be with Midoriya? I’m sure there is something you two can do together. I mean you’ve been able to do that for the last month anyway.”

“L/N? I…” Todoroki looked so confused and conflicted, pulling at my heart.

“I’m sorry, Roki. I just … I’ll see you later.”

Midoriya: I was bouncing in place outside the gallery. I looked at everyone who walked past or went in, trying to see the familiar green Curls. I looked down at my phone to see it was close to the start time.

“Where are you?” I said under my breath. After a few more minutes, I decided to text him.

What are you up to? I gently probed through the text. It was only a few seconds before he replied.

Doing some extra training with All Might. You caught me taking a break. I stared at the phone in shock and disbelief. I closed my phone for a moment to compose myself.

I knew he was determined to harness One for All and I was happy he trusted me with this secret but come on. He had promised to be here. I felt tears of anger trying and forced their way out.

Why? What’s up? Another text came through. I was about to snap when my dad came out.

“It’s starting.” I nodded and saw him look around confused. “Where’s Midoriya?”

“Not coming.” I walked past while typing out my last text. Just curious. Thought you had plans.

I was interrupted the next morning by furious knocking on my door. I gave an annoyed sigh and got up to open my dorm door. There stood Midoriya and by the look on his face, he knew.

“Really?!” I snapped before he could say anything. He opened and closed his mouth like a fish, not finding anything to say. “You knew how important…you promised…”

“L/N…I just forgot and… I, I, I.” He looked down at the ground. I looked down and saw him fingering at one of the scars on his hands.

“Look…” He looked up at me. “Shouldn’t you be with All Might? You’re not going to become the world’s greatest hero by spending time with me.” I said solemnly.

“L/N…” He reached out but I closed the door.

Shinso: Ever since Shinso finally moved into the class A dorms, he has Spent every moment he could with me. Enough that it made some of the others gag by how 'Love Sick’ we were. Every now and again though, someone would be able to Pull him away. Mainly Deku or Denki.

“Hmm.” Shinso hummed happily as he snuggled into my chest. I was running fingers through his hair as I read over some study guides on the couch in the common room.

“Hey! Toshi!” I yelped as he nipped at some bare skin. He giggled as I wacked his shoulder. “You little Shit.”

“You love me.” He got comfortable again as I shook my head. It was quiet for a few minutes until a screech of Shinso’s name. We both jumped as a certain blonde came running.

“Shinso!” He tried to slow down but ran into the back of the couch, falling over and landing on top of us.

“Kaminari!” We both yelled.

“Sorry!” He scrambled Up with help from Toshi. He sat up and glared.

“Yes?”

“I need you to come with me.”

“Right now?” Kami nodded enthusiastically. Toshi groaned and looked at me. I giggled at the look in his eyes. “I’m not going to get out of this?” Kami shook his head and grabbed him.

“See you later!” I waved to him as Kami dragged him off.

I had moved to my room some time later and was watching some random movies. It was getting close to 8pm when my door opened. In trudged Toshi, looking more tired than usual. He plopped down next to me and wrapped himself around my waist.

“Well hello there.” I laughed, running my hand over his back. He mumbled something into my side. “Shouldn’t you be with Kaminari?” I jested.

“Dear god, no!” He sat up. “He just wanted my opinion on this person he likes.”

“And that took nearly four, no, five hours?”

“He also wanted some advice on what to do. But no it didn’t. Midoriya caught me after and he wanted to train a bit.” I nodded. I leant down and kissed his head.

“So, shouldn’t you be with Deku?” He glared. He ripped the pillow from under my head and walloped me. “Toshi! Sorry, sorry!” He threw the pillow away and laid down.

“You know I’d rather be with you.” He nosed my temple as he pulled me into his chest.

“I know and I don’t mind one bit.”

Don’t Hate It. - Shiggy

First time trying to hold their hand. Does it go right or wrong?

+Neither you nor Shigaraki were the type to hold hands. For some of the same reasons and some different. For one of Shiggy’s, well obviously his quirk and for you, you were not the type to be all touchy feely in cutesy stuff. Neither of you were really the affectionate types. That is until a day comes that You need a little physical touch.

The day couldn’t go by and end fast enough. Nothing was going right, I was nearly caught by some heroes, and to top it off, it started to storm. As soon as I walked in the door, I threw my soaked coat in some random direction. I shook my hair out, ignoring the displeased yell towards me.

“Ugh!” I threw myself into a booth completely annoyed with the world. My fingers aggressively rapped against the table top. I had been on edge all day, from the moment I woke up.

“Well some one’s in a bad mood.” A deep voice said from across the bar. I glanced toward the bar and saw the black hair male next to our leader. It surprised me to see him out of his room and away from his video games.

“Not now Dabi.” I growled under my breath. A drink was placed in front of me and I saw the black purple Wisps out of the corner of my eye. I took a long drink before leaning back into my seat.

“Awe, is someone also a bit touchy? Oh, everyone! Look out!” He laughed. I rubbed my eyes before burying my face in my hands. I just felt like I really needed a hug, a loving touch, or something.

“Dadi just leave them alone.” Kurogiri said.

“What? I’m not doing anything.” He grumbled. I rolled my eyes and just took another drink. I heard an argument between multiple people ensue. I was left alone for a little while but I could feel eyes on me. Frustration was quickly growing in me. I looked up and around the room. Across the bar, there was a recruit that had been around for a few weeks with his eyes glued on me.

“Great. Him.” I groaned and looked away. It was not even a minute and he was standing next to the table. “Can I help you with something?”

“Nooo… but I think I could help. Get those frustrations out I mean.” He gave me a big smile which I’m sure he meant to be sexy but failed miserably.

“Really?” I asked sarcastically, unimpressed. He nodded, ignoring my sarcasm. He leant down so his face was close with mine.

“Really, really.” He smirked. He reached to touch me. “I have so many ideas.”

“Haha. Careful there, recruit.” I warned, pushing his hand away. His touch was revolting. The frustration was about to snap.

“Oh come on, sweetie. Just come with me and…” He reached out again. I snapped. I shoved him back and shot out of my seat. He stumbled and I grabbed his neck tight. Black webbed out on his skin.

“Walk for a mile and then walk into traffic you pathetic nitwit.” I growled. I shoved him away and he walked out the door. I sighed. That was the first time my quirk worked right allday. I finally noticed the room was silent. “Anyone else?” Gazes immediately moved away from me. Tears fought their way to the surface. I felt like I was going to fall apart, that there is nothing to hold me together.

“Y/N.” A presence came up behind me.

“What!” I turned to see Shiggy next to me. His eyes went from me to the door. “I don’t want to hear it! Can’t you all just leave me alone for one goddamn minute!” I yelled, throwing my hands up and stomping off. I walked to an unused back hall and leant against a wall. There was a big window in front of me, showing me the storm outside.

“Y/N..” I jumped and yelled out. The tears finally broke though.

“What Tomura!?” I yelled. “I know I messed up so what could it be you are here for?” I slammed back into and slid down the wall. “Because it only seems that people come to me when they want something, want to tease on me, or make me their punching bag! So what possibly could you be here for! Huh?”

“Y/N.”

“What?” I looked up and saw he was sitting next to me on my left. He reached up and pried my hand from my hair. I gasped because I didn’t ever know I was doing it, the ache setting in. His next action shocked me more. He took my right hand in his left and began to rub circles. “Shigaraki?”

“Just take it.” He slowly wrapped his right arm around my shoulders. I set my head on his shoulder cautiously. When he didn’t react beyond pulling me in more, I let my full weight on him. I noticed he had on his two finger gloves and a small smile came to my face.

I gripped his hand and placed my other hand over his and traced random shapes. Underneath, I was soaking in all the soft attention and touches. Shiggy normally hated to wear the gloves so he never really did this soft stuff. Sure we’ve done some more spicy touching but never this.

“Thank you.” I whispered. “I know you hate wearing the gloves.”

“I don’t hate wearing them. I just had no reason too.” His raspy voice said softly into my ear. He moved his arm off my shoulder and brought it forward to set his other hand with the others. “Now I do.”

“Huh?” I lifted my head to look at him.

“I am not a very… touchy person but with you I want to be. I just didn’t know how to ask you.” He said. “With anyone else, I’m not interested. But with you, I want to have everything.So I don’t hate it.”

“I feel the same.” I admitted after a minute of silence. “I had to admit it to myself as well. I haven’t been close enough to anyone in such a long time that I didn’t know what to do.”

“So we are meant for each other.” He laughed and so did I.

“You know, if you hadn’t sent that shit head on his way, I would have dusted him.” I laughed hard, leaning into him more.

“I am just happy my quirk worked. It’s been acting up all day.” I held up my free hand. Black swirled on my fingertips. Tomura let go of my one hand and placed his finger tips against mine, all five. He tapped them before gently lacing his fingers with mine.

“Things happen and I will be… Will be here for you the best I can.” He said. “I know I am far from a great man but…”

“If I wanted a great man, I would not be here.” I said a matter of factly. He laughed. “The dark, brooding, crazy type that has a side obsession of video games myself. They’re more fun.”

“Damn. That specific, huh?” He asked.

“Actually, now that you mention it, I like them to have light blueish hair with a hand problem.”

“Watch it.” He warned with no threat behind it. “You know, now that I’ve gotter a taste of this I won’t go back.”

“Same.” I tightened my grip on his hand.“I hate to admit it but I need a little physical touch every now and then.”

“I couldn’t agree more.” He whispered. I nearly fell asleep when a loud clash of thunder and lightning spooked us both. “Ugh! Can we, maybe move somewhere more comfortable than the floor?”

“Oh, fine you big baby.” I got up and looked down at him expectedly. He got up and took my hand. I yawned as I’ve walked through the halls, hand in hand.

BakuSquad Driving Headcannons

Katsuki Bakugo

Katsuki is the proud owner of a 2022 Mercedes G-Wagon. Painted matte black with black rims and orange leather interior.
His car is super clean and always smells good.
Permanent new car smell — fresh leather and wealth
Keeps a an emergency preparedness bag in the trunk.

When he finds you sick in bed he freaks out. He closes the door to let you rest while he figures out what the hell to do. He calls his mom, does some research, and even calls Bakugo. He frantically gets all the info he knows to get you help.

He rushes out the door in whatever he can put his hands on. Mismatched clothes and shoes. He rushes to the corner store and gets supplies. He buys 3 thermostats, 10 cold patches. 3 types of medicine, and several hydrating drinks. He rushes back home and gets all your symptoms together.

You would have thought Denki would have made a big deal while with you but he wanted to make sure you were okay. He quietly opened your door, took your temperature and took note of your symptoms and how you were doing. To be honest you didn’t even know he was there. You never even noticed him taking a cloth and wiping your forehead down. He lay a cold patch for your fever and had you take some sips of the drink he got you.

Once he knows your okay, he rushes out the door again. Forgetting his wallet and having him go back for it once. He goes to your local grocery store and buys all the ingredients he needs for your food. With a little advice and recipes from online he makes you some gruel.

He patiently helps feed you and cleans up the room while you get some rest. Once you get a little better he helps you to the bathroom. While you’re bathing he lays out your clothes and cleans your room. He changes your sheets while keeping an ear out for you.

At night he’s so worried he sleeps next to your bed waking up every hour in case you need him. When you’re feeling better and you’re okay. You’ll never know how happy it made him to see you better and how worried he was that you were sick. When he hugs you after you’re all better you never knew the tears of relief in his eyes. He was so glad you were okay.

Being with Hawks was something unexpected. You never really thought you’d end up with him in the first place. He’s a wonderful guy who could talk a person into anything he wanted really. But it was the things that made him, him, that had you falling for him.

I decided to do Pro-Heroes class 1-a design’s (re-design’s?), first off is Jirou!

I have some headcannons about this one:

During her years at UA, Jirou, Bakugou and Tokoyami (and Shinsou eventually) get increasingly into alternative fashion, when she debuts as a hero, Earphone Jack is the cool looking emo Pro-hero every angsty middle schooler adores
Her outfit is not very practical but she decided she deserved some cool factor, the platforms were because she didn’t grow much after high-school and wanted to look more intimidating (Midnight taught her how to run in those boots)
I didn’t draw it, but her Hero costume actually has a leather jacket!
Earphone jack absolutely has a music career on the side and she makes BOMB music and her old classmates participate in some tracks
She partners a lot with Creati and Chargebolt, the midia seems to take turns with who she is “dating” every month or so

synopsis: bakugou isn’t one to back down from a dare, so when he’s dared to make y/n fall in love with him, he does just that, not expecting to fall in love himself.

your quirk : telekinesis, you can make yourself float and occasionally fly, your hair lifts up as well, you can use your hands and mind but usually use your hands since it stabilizes the power, you can also transfer power into any limb you desire which gives it strength for however long. if you use too much your nose bleeds and you can faint.

“the girls are going to be here in 10 minutes sooo why don’t we play truth or dare until then!” denki smirked looking around the circle of boys.

(this game is a little different, you spin a bottle and whoever it lands on first has to ask the second person it lands on and the second person picks a piece of a paper out a bowl getting either “T"or “D”, there are more truths in the bowl than dare”).

“seems cool!” kirishima agreed sipping his soda as sero and some others agreed, “bakubroo you in?” denki widened his eyes at him mimicking a cat “do i have a choice?”.

“no no you do not!” the electric blonde concluded, groaning he mumbled out a “fine.” making the boys cheer.

sero placed a bottle in the centre of the circle, the first time it landed on kirishima and then todoroki who picked out a piece of paper with a small “T” written on it.
“hmm todoroki, who’s your best friend?” as soon as the question left the red-heads mouth everyone groaned knowing the answer.

“y/n” he stated. “WE ALREADY KNEW THAT SHITTY HAIR” the angry blonde yelled with a frown, “i wanted to start off easy!!” kirishima defended sheepishly.

the next round the bottle landed on sero and bakugou who got truth, “bakugou, who out of the girls do you find a worthy opponent to spar with” sero smirked knowingly, “probably l/n, before either of you say shit it’s because she doesn’t hold back” the boy defended.

“ugh i love y/n, i think i annoy her though” denki thought out loud pouting, “that’s because you record her doing random things because it gets you views” ojiro laughed thinking back to all the times you scolded him for it.

“HEY WELL, i didn’t know she’d be so popular on tiktok when i first included her, and all she did was glare at the camera” he fake sobbed.

“did you not see the tiktoks after kacchan’s spar with her? they just sat out of breath sweaty and that got millions of views” midoriya spoke pointing at bakugou.

denki shrugged muttering a quiet “not fair”. once again the bottle spun landing on kirishima and denki, “denki who do you like” he immediately blurted out, “i thought that was obvious?.. jirou”.

“was that meant to be a secret?!” bakugou raised an eyebrow at the red-head, “I DIDN’T KNOW MAN!” he yelled in fake annoyance as everyone laughed.

this time the bottle landed on denki and bakugou who finally got a dare, “FINALLY OKAY, time to give you an impossible dare” the electric boy cackled with a hand on his chin in thought, “i dare you to make y/n fall in love with you!”… silence.

“don’t you think that’s a bit harsh” midoriya whispered, “hey cmon y/n doesn’t have time for boys or need them, bakugou will finally fail at something” he smiled at the blonde who only rolled his eyes.

“seems like a shitty idea” he stated as todoroki agreed, “c’monn bakugou you’re not a chickdn are you?” denki teased clucking.

“coward” he added making the blonde glare, “FINE” he yelled, the other boys groaned shaking their heads.

and as if on cue you walked in.

you raised a brow at the unnerving silence sitting in between midoriya and todoroki who made space for you, mina waltzed in after followed by the other girls ‘what’s with the silence” mina said in a sing-song voice.

“we’re playing truth or dare tonight” todoroki explained to you as you felt a pair of eyes on you, many actually as if waiting for you to do something.

“what?” you questioned as the boys quickly shook their heads you sat with your legs crossed staring into the ceiling “you just look very pretty” sero quickly made up an excuse not lying.

“thanks sero” you mumbled as uraraka hugged you from behind muttering something in your ear “bakugou keeps staring at you” she giggled, you rolled your eyes slightly at her antics turning back to the circle “so?”.

“sooo you’d look cute together” she smirked giving you a quick forehead kiss crawling back to her place before you could push her away groaning.

a couple rounds went by, this time landing on denki and bakugou, “dare again bakugou!, i dare you to kiss the person opposite to you”.

the room went silent looking at the person opposite him, unfortunately that was you and you were trying to fix a thread loose on todoroki’s shirt, “y/n” he looked at you as you gave up using your hands and tried using your quirk instead “shut up i’ve got this” you spoke looking up.

“oh shit, who died” you sat down as the circle peered at you, “apparently you” jirou snickered, “why did i die” you asked a little scared, “you have to kiss a pomeranian” momo answered grimacing.

“fuck i got a dare? we don’t have a-” but you shut up as she pointed to the pomeranian in question.

denki burst out laughing as you sighed staring at the boy, i mean this couldn’t be too bad right.. at least it isn’t mineta.

you basically chanted the last sentence in your head as the group pushed you into the middle.

thankfully the music in the background meant it wouldn’t be completely silent so you stared as you both kneeled in front of each other, “surprised you’re not screaming” you joked.

he rolled his eyes staring at your features “yeah me too” he boldly stated, you inched your face closer to his, his face now a shoe away but before you could come any closer he grabbed your jaw with his thumb and pointer immediately pressing his lips to yours.

you flinched a little in surprise but relaxed into it, he momentarily pulled away noses still touching and placed another hand behind your neck to deepen the kiss prodding his tongue at your lips as if asking you for permission which you granted but only for a second, you pulled away first.

his hand left your jaw as his eyes met yours, his crimson eyes stared into your e/c ones, but you took this as an opportunity to tease him so you looked into one eye switching to the other and then his lips before pushing yourself back into your seat.

the others basically yelled as you both got seated “well” you thought, that wasn’t horrible… you had butterflies.

maybe it was the way your heart raced afterwards or the lingering eyes, i mean who wouldn’t feel like that after something as intense as that.

denial.

there was always more to him than just his anger, no his anger was a mask for his insecurities.. was that not obvious or did no one else pay enough attention to him like you do.

nobody else had experienced the blissful moments, the times of calm under the scorching heat, when you’d both fall to the ground sweat covered but content with your training.

“you’ve gotten stronger” it was a fact not surprise, just a fact. “damn right i have” he replied like he would, “but if we still keep tying then you’ve gotten stronger as well”.

the simple things, the little words, sentences he’d add as if to reassure your strength as if to say “you’re doing well too but i’d never admit that so take the hint”.

but you didn’t notice this yet.

it had been about an hour since you kissed the infamous hot head and the game went on as normal, “y/n you have to make a thirst-trap with me” you choked on your peach tea as shoto patted your back accompanied by midoriyas furious patting as if you were on deaths door.

you sighed burying your head in your hands as your friends cackled.

“y/n you look tired” todoroki stated turning to the time, “deku and i trained a little late” you yawned as the green haired boy snored on your shoulder.

“baku-bro if you stare at him like that any longer he’s going to have a nightmare” kirishima nervously laughed as the blonde scoffed at midoriya turning away.

“i think i’m going to go up to my dorm” you told the dual-haired boy getting up, you lifted midoriya with your quirk swinging him over your shoulder so his head was in the crook of your neck, “do you need some help y/n?” todoroki asked as you broke the circle from the group.

“yeah can you open the door”, the boy did just that as the others said goodnight.

“sleep well greeny” you lifted midoriya onto the bed, staring curiously at all his all might figures, “having fun?” a familiar voice spoke making you flinch slightly at the voice amidst the near silent snores.

“not particularly” you replied swiftly shaking the blanket from under the duvet and placing it over your friend but just as you did that his arms reached out grabbing you and hauling you onto the bed.

you stared wide eyed before the blonde burst into silent mocking laughter with his hand over his stomach, you grumbled at him attempting to wiggle out only making him laugh harder, “fucking help!” you whisper yelled at him waving your arms around. bakugou raised an eyebrow “say please”, you glared attempting to wiggle out again only for his eyes to tighten.

“you know what i’ll stay here” you fake smiled snuggling up to midoriya, at that bakugou had enough, he stomped over and grabbed your arm and pulled, nothing.

“oh” he stated realising, “yeah, i’ll get his left arm you get his right” you sighed, “don’t tell me what to do!!” which made you groan at his stubborn nature.

“fine stubborn, let’s do the fucking opposite”

“no just do what you said!”.

“i fucking hate you”.

minutes later and you’re finally out of the small green boy’s grasp, “i’m gonna go up now, goodbye” you said after thanking bakugou, the guy you didn’t talk to very often other than sparring or when its convenient for you both.

“you’re not tired” he caught up to you walking up to the elevator towards your floor, “you clearly are”.

“i guess, answer me” he rubbed his head well past his bedtime.

“no i’m not tired” he glanced over to you as you pressed the button up to your shared floor, “then what do you do when you’re not tired?”

“game usually” you replied shrugging, “like?”.

“genshin mostly, i stream with denks a lot” he nodded as you opened your doors at the end of the hall opposite each other.

“see you tomorrow bakugou” he hesitated in responding, as if he wanted to say something else, “sparky asked me to join so i’ll join the damn party, invite me” he demanded before closing the door.

“nice conversation bakugou” you laughed at the closed door.

…

“denki, invite bakugou” you twizzled around in your chair loading into genshin, “he wants to play?!” denki questioned, “i was surprised too”.

“yayyy!” he screamed as bakugou joined with a ping.

“i’ll win at this game” was the first thing he said clearly not having played before.

“bakugou you don’t win at genshin, well you can level up and i guess surpass us?” you explained hearing the complaints of the tired angry blonde, “fine i can do that”.

2 hours in and this was a nightmare the blonde still had not grasped the concept of artifacts and also found ruin guards horrifying.. but would never admit it.

“FUCK ITS ONE OF THEM, THINGSSHITSHITSHIT” you stifled your laughter running over to your struggling friend “you’re good, now denks where are-”

“y/n?” you turned to your door only to be greeted by midoriya, “oh hi izuku” hitting the mute button you turned to him, “hey y/n! thank you for carrying me up, i move a lot in my sleep” he laughed leaning over you watching you play as bakugou yelled into the mic about “damn deku” being there.

“sorry that noise is only denki using his vacuum.. they spilt popcorn everywhere” you smiled ignoring the growing pest in your mic, “just wanted to ask whether you wanted me to stay again” midoriya asked, you had both been been having nightmares but it only happened when you slept in your own beds, so you swapped every now and then.

“i’m not planning on sleeping, i’ll probably train later so you should sleep, i feel bad keeping you up”. you smiled apologetic.

“nono! its been fun, really if you ever need me i’m here!, plus i sleep better here” he added quietly still watching your game play, “in that case you can sleep here”.

“really, i don’t want to-” - “no really if i want to sleep i’ll just take your bed don’t worry”.

midoriya smiled giving you one last thank you before disappearing behind you.

your attention back on your two friends,

“y/n…”denki’s voice pierced the mic,

“yes”,

“can i come to your room?”,

“why?”,

,“wanna say goodnight!!” you could hear the pout through the screen,

“no”,

KNOCK KNOCK

“denki go away!” you smiled as the door shook from the weight of the knocks, “NOT DENKI!” a gruff voice yelled through the wood, “fuck” you sighed getting up.

you lodged your foot in the door so if bakugou tried pushing it open he couldn’t get in, through the slight crack he eyed you “what are you doing?!”.

“i’ve been playing genshin with you for the past couple hours..” you raised an eyebrow watching the boy swing his arms around as if animated.

“let me come in!!”.

“no”.

“i need to talk to you!”

“then talk” you laughed at his growing rage, he growled once again attempting to open the door, “come downstairs.” and with that he let go of the door.

“what was that?” midoriya turned over rubbing his eyes with a hint of sleep in his voice “just some angry dog, i’ll be back soon” you replied as he took no notice too tired to question anything.

“hey y/n! wanna play with us” kirishima smiled watching you walk down the stairs “sure”.

“can you help bakugou out he doesn’t know how to play but won’t ask for help” he scratched the back of his head pointing towards the bakusquad sitting in front of the tv.

bakugou looked up at you you sat next to him, “you’re pressing the wrong buttons”- “NO THE FUCK I-” you carefully moved his fingers to the right buttons and sat back in your place.

“i play a bit too much” you spoke as he stared at where your hands once were, “train with me tomorrow” he mumbled picking his character, “sure” you stiffled a smile leaning your head back onto the sofa.

“y/n..” you turned back to the blonde his face a little closer than expected, you held your breath not daring to look away “yeah” he looked towards you which is when you turned away, he’s pretty.

“if you say shit i’ll kill you, but show me how to play”, you put your hands over his and moved each finger where it needed to be, not realising his eyes lingering on your face rather than the screen, “pay attention” you grinned watching him huff in offence.

“wasn’t looking at you” he said in almost a whispering manner “mmhm”.

“i’m gonna sleep actually” you told him about to stand up “where”.

“what?” his eyes flickered over to yours “i’ll come”.

at this moment you didn’t think anything of it completely forgetting you’d be going to deku’s room.
